Not what I was expecting when I searched for a coffee shop. They do indeed serve delightful coffee but the atmosphere is if they would have taken half coffee half club and had a baby. It was more of a trendy bar than traditional coffee shop. So if your looking for something a little different while working on a laptop give it a try but you would not be able to make a phone call while working as the music was loud but enjoyable. (Food was also very good)
Came here for the vegan cinnamon rolls and the pink latte and it was nice for the experience/the aesthetic but the food was just alright. Not really worth the price in my opinion. I also got some avocado toast which was almost $9 and it was tasty, but super tiny bread and it was pretty messy to eat. The latte was just ok too, I would have rather got my usual Starbucks tbh but it was pretty.
It was so worth the drive! Definitely happy I was able to go! Beautiful and clean. They sanitize after every table. Didn’t have to wait long at all! Very friendly and helpful staff! Will be back again! 12/10! Definitely recommend if you haven’t gone. Machine gun Kelly fan or not! You don’t know what you are missing if you haven’t gone here!
While in Cleveland, my sister said 27 Club Coffee was the place to visit. It didn’t disappoint. The ambiance was very clean and colorful. The service was friendly and accommodating. We both had chicken and waffles for breakfast. The food was well seasoned and fresh. If you’re in Cleveland, visit 27 Club Coffee, it’s good.
My wife had a extra sweet iced mocha that tasted like a liquid brownie and I had a signature Diablo with an extra shot of espresso (which is amazing) and lavender flavoring. We both agreed that it was the best coffee we have had.... EVER! My wife actually said that everywhere we have ever had coffee and she has ordered her iced coffee, The 27 club is the only one to achieve the taste she has been looking for.
Drove from North Carolina to check this place out and made a mini vacation out of it. The city of Cleveland can thank 27CC for existing as my wife and I spent 3 days and 2 nights in town contributing to the local economy just because this place is here. Original Craft Cocktails and craft beer and not so craft beer options are great and priced appropriately. Will be back tomorrow for breakfast and maybe late lunch. Not sure if this is Covid related or maybe its slow in the evening but, kitchen closed at 3pm and the place closes as 5pm during the week. Update: Came back for breakfast twice and it was definitely worth it.
My wife has been here several times, this was my first and it truly lived up to the hype of it all. The atmosphere was amazing even with the line outside, it moved fast and was communicated well by staff. The food was great and the drinks were amazing. we bought both a coffee and cocktail and enjoyed everything. even with the music playing you can still conversate. the bartender Emily is amazing and on top of everything. Will definitely return
Came here for my birthday and this, by far, is THE BEST coffee shop I have ever been to!! Great atmosphere, great coffee and the cinnamon rolls are on point!!! The menu has some great items to chose from and the prices are affordable!! I got a travel mug and a bag of coffee beans, the coffee is delicious and the mug is very well made! The employees are very polite and helpful, the place was very clean and the music was great! I could have sat there all day!! I highly recommend visiting The 27 Coffee Club!!
We had the unfortunate luck to stop here the morning after a Harry Styles concert so our wait was about 1.5 hours. The ladies inside were doing their best to move the line along. My boyfriend got an iced coffee with a splash of half-and-half and I got the pink latte with oat milk and a shot of vanilla syrup. We both enjoyed our coffees. We would stop again but probably wouldnt do another big wait like that since weve already experienced it.My only real complaint was that my latte was barely pink...definitely nothing like the pictures online.
We were excited to give this place a try given the rave reviews. When we arrived on a Saturday morning to grab coffee and breakfast, there was a line out the door. I think they would greatly benefit from an additional register to help move people through the line faster. It took over an hour to order, and then we had to cancel our food because it didnt come out in time for our schedule.Leaving three stars because (1) the staff was friendly, understanding, and accommodating within our tight schedule, (2) the food we saw other people order looked great, (3) as others have pointed out, the atmosphere was very modern and fun. But, the coffees that we waited an hour to get were just average (though we just got standard cold brews instead of one of their fancier drinks, which did look yummy!).We arrived at 10:45ish and had to wait in line until 11:40 to order food! What is odd is that there were a number of empty tables both inside and outside when we placed our orders - it seems that the cashier and baristas are unable to keep up the speed to fill orders fast enough for the number of tables they have available (possibly because they lack the equipment!). The person who took our order at the register estimated it would take about 25 minutes to get our food, which worked within our tight timeline for the day. But, when we checked on our order after 25 minutes, a different server let us know it would be about another 20 minute wait. We had to cancel our order and get a refund due to our time constraint. This was kind of frustrating after waiting so long to even place an order.
All the staff were super friendly, they explained that the food would take some time to make, but I was fine waiting 20 minutes for the quality of food I received. The oat milk cold brew was delicious! The avocado toast looks pretty, but wish the avocados were smashed instead of just sliced, that it were served on a full piece of bread instead of a baguette cut on the bias, and it had more acid (lemon juice). The waffles were absolutely amazing! The PBR was subtle and not too overpowering, and that banana cream is really something else! The atmosphere of the place is right up my alley. Another reviewer said something about it being like a club, which definitely appeals to me since Im a house music DJ. Sitting on the deck overlooking the neighborhood is definitely enjoyable as well when its nice outside. I will definitely be back the next time I come to Cleveland!
In a bit of a offbeat location, but not hard to find. Parking is ample in the area. Beautiful building and design, color/decor layout give a nice feel, furniture a bit awkward, they need more small stool seats to go with the tables. One thing I did notice is they even offered high chairs. The staff is God awful and very unattentive(they honestly all need to be replaced with more focused, knowledgeable and customer friendly staff), from a bartender who doesnt pay attention to her totally empty bar when a patron walks up, sits and waits, to a cashier who fails to tell you what they are out of and who waves a to go box at me instead of bringing it to our table after I got up and asked for a box and was told sure as she walked away, to a drink runner who spills drinks on customers(yes spilled the latte on us and said oh sorry then went and got rags from the kitchen but didnt refill the latte), to a guy from the kitchen laying over the counter. The gentleman who I would believe is the manager was busy cleaning, checking on customers, running food and being professional (even lowering the television volume without being asked). Bathroom was iffy at best, didnt smell bad but was dirty with pump hand soap put directly on the sink ledge and dirty floors. Pricing is a bit high for the product, but average for The Flats. The best part of the visit was definitely the food. We had a bit of everything from their menu; lattes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, waffles, and flat bread pizza. Presentation was excellent, portion size was very good, taste shows time goes into the creations. Overall Id say bring more money than a stop at your average cafe in Cleveland, if youre not in the area I wouldnt suggest going out of your way for a visit.PS ask for napkins, if not you wont get them
Emily the bartender was SO NICE. She made sure we got drinks we would actually like and was so personable. We went at a busy time so there was a wait outside but it went quickly and was SO WORTH IT. The Gunner with the brown butter bourbon was soooo good, I’m willing to drive the two hours from Columbus just for that. We got the chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits and it was *chefs kiss*. I got a caramel latte with oat milk to go when we left and they use beet powder to dye it pink and it makes it a tinge sweeter and so delicious.
This place is awesome!!!! If I didnt live 4 hours away I would go here everyday!!! The menu was actually bigger than I expected it to be. The staff was super cool and friendly. Even when I went it was super busy and the staff was very calm and cool (even if they actually werent) they never gave off that vibe that anything was wrong. The decor in there is super cute I love it. This place is exactly how MGK would want it to be. Great job, next time in Cleveland I will def be back!
Can’t say I’m super familiar with his music but I like his coffee bar! Great atmosphere, comfy place to hang out, very impressive looking drinks, the ice pink latte looked the coolest. Relaxed atmosphere, can easily see myself doing some work here. Smoothie was delicious, $9 seemed a tad steep, enjoyed it nonetheless. Coffee drinks and tea were more reasonably priced, also super delicious. I don’t make it to this area often but if I am in the future, definitely will stop in, great treat!Oh yeah, the whole club 27 things is about all the musicians who died at 27...so that’s an odd theme choice.
Come for the vibe/atmosphere, stay for the high quality coffee. ☕️ In addition to being picturesque, 27 Club is a huge area of space with delicious and strong coffee. Vegan-friendly (almond, oak) milks are also available. There’s street parking nearby in the Flats that’s $5 — not too bad if you’re gonna stay awhile. Would definitely recommend!
Well.. Talk about overrated. I went to meet old friends for my granddaughter s 17th birthday and was completely unimpressed. Although the concept of 27 club being a tribute to those who died at 27 is wonderful it was still overpriced and pretentious. Two coffees and shrimp and grits was over $40 and the grits tasted spoiled. It looked nice but took over 20 minutes to come out so I had to take it home. Add in parking and the fact that they drove from Missouri and you have a complete waste of time.
Ive been hearing about this place a lot since it opened and today I finally had the opportunity to try it. I was wondering if it was overhyped but it really is not. The drink I had (hot pink smoothie) was really good, the atmosphere is great, and the people who work there were all super friendly. I would definitely come back.
My fiance brought me here because of how in love I am with MGK for my 28th birthday. The girls were super awesome. The guy doing security at the door was soo nice. Food was amazing! My fiance got a pepperoni flatbread and hot pink smoothie and he liked everything. I got the smoked salmon toast and was so good 🤤 I also got the lithium lemonade and a pink latte with oat milk, both were fantastic. Nothing bad to say about anything 🥰
Drove 8 hours to Cleveland just to visit. One of the best custom services I have ever experienced. Great food and drinks. Beautiful and clean establishment. Highly recommend The 27 Club to anybody who is in the area.
Very nice experience!! The drive was long. People thought we were crazy to drive almost 4 hours to go get coffee, lol, but it was a good time and a great experience! There is parking but youll have to pay to park and be prepared to wait in line for a bit. The gentleman at the door makes everything go quickly and smoothly though. The coffee shop has a music theme vibe with a color scheme of mainly black and pink. Very cool! Their pizzas are delicious and their hot pink smoothie is awesome!! You have to go and check it out at least once!
We enjoyed our visit but the bartender forgot to make our drinks and we were sitting directly infront of her. We asked for water and she forgot and said sorry its just hectic. We overheard that 4 people called off, I guess that was the problem? She wasnt in the best of moods but warmed up towards the end. The drinks were great though. We would probably come back here the next time we are in town.
27 Club Coffee is a cool funky place that doesn’t just serve coffee and smoothies, but also serves food and alcohol too! The place is small and extremely hard to get seats. We had to wait outside in the freezing cold weather for a very long time until we found out we could tell them we were just getting coffee to go so we could finally skip the outdoor line for seats. There seems to be different zones inside... near the front door is a cool coffee shop vibe, in the front left it has a sports bar type vibe and in the back it almost looks like a club VIP section with the sounds of poppin’ bottles. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions about their menu. My wife and I got a black swan (mocha) latte, a pink (beetroot) latte and a 27 Cookie which all tasted great! This is a funky place that I would recommend to check out if you want to experience a different type of coffee shop and if there is a large line out the door in the freezing winter then skip the wait and get your order to go like we did.
Cali meets Cleveland. Place is very clean, great atmosphere and dope pizza! I’ll be back for drinks next time. Highly recommended!
Cool experience considering the creation behind the place itself. Our group wouldnt say the coffee or food was out of this world, but cool place to visit. Would definitely return.
It was very simple to find. Surprised my daughter after her trip to the Cleveland Clinic on Friday. She is an old soul so she was very into the “27 Club” and really enjoyed the concept and environment. Great way to end our visit. We will be back 💕🖤
Overvalued place. Not worth it at all. My friend ordered a pink coffee and was not pink at all. Coffee as average. Nothing unique. I had pizza, it was good. But I was expecting more from this place as their Instagram looks great. Not coming back.
Awesome place to chill and vibe good coffee fairly priced
Great atmosphere. The pink latte and the cold brew are delicious. The food is so good - especially the cinnamon rolls. The Mediterranean Flatbread was also very good. Came back 4 times this weekend and will go again when Im back in town. The merch is also really awesome.
Great experience. Everything really great. Will be back. My daughter massive fan of MGK.
LOVE this place! Everything is pink from the drinks to the furniture. The interior decor is fun and edgy. A great place to grab coffee or a drink with a friend. I always order the hot pink smoothie because it is so refreshing and delicious! Anytime a friend comes to town for a visit, I take him/her to the 27 Club because there is no shoppe quite like it!
They open early. Friendly staff and outdoor seat that we could bring our dog! Green smoothie was tasty!!
I was really surprised. It was not what I expected. The food was really excellent. We tried several different things and everything had a different fresh taste. Really good ambiance. Drinks were excellent. Staff were really friendly and they all would come to your table to make you are good.
Loved everything the food, service and Merch ❤ all great. Emily our server was awesome. Rode our Harley from Columbus just to check out 27 Club and were glad we did 😊 will definitely be back.
Kind of fun to drink an iced coffee with a pink sugar rim tbh
Machine Gun Kellys new coffee shop is a really good place to chill and eat good food. I had the pizza which I could personalize myself and it was delicious. Then I had whats called a lithium lemonade with a activated charcoal syringe which I never had before but I wanted to try and its Soooo good, it had poppyseeds floating as you can see from the photos... The other dish was a turkey club pre roll in a dish and it has this old bay ranch sauce that I use that ish on everything! Overall a very good concept of a coffee house, the food is superb and the staff was welcoming, the little things like the different singers on the wait plackards were awesome. I hope he expands to other cities because this will be a hit.
Great breakfast pizza and fast service. Hoping to see pictures on the walls soon! Highly recommended.
Loved it. Great atmosphere with great food and drinks. The shrimp and grits was pricy for just 4 shrimp but it was perfectly seasoned and cooked to the perfect texture!
Instagram worthy interiors and delicious food and drink. I had the pink latte which comes unsweetened, and I prefer, but the sugar rim added the perfect amount of sweetness in every sip. For food I chose the avocado toast which came on the most delicious bread. I will definitely be back to try some libations and pizza, which smelled so good.
I have been to many coffee cafes and this is definitely one of my favorite ones just due to the ambience/atmosphere.Its industrial with awesome lighting, chill music, and interesting but great seating options!I only had a mocha but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Im sure everything there is awesome. They also have a bar and I believe they specialize in cocktails.
Great drinks and a quick snack while visiting Cleveland. Wed definitely go back!!
Extra ordinary customer service! Great food!! My new to go place!!!
Definitely lived up to what I thought it would be! Machine gun Kelly outdid himself we are definitely going back!
Amazing coffee! Balance of flavor and strength is on-point. Smooth and delicious. Lucky Charm Latte and Americana were great. Smoothies were tasty and consistent texture (well blended) - Protein and Hot Pink.Staying the course with the coffee, the food was better than anticipated, in particular the baked egg sandwich and avocado toast. Ended with the All Day Cinnamon Rolls. Will return for lunch/early dinner menu options. This is coffee house that can hold its own, is hip and celebrity owned. In that order. This team paid attention to the core business: good coffee and food in a chill environment. Staff was smiling and eager to serve. Not pretentious at all. Just exceeded expectations. Well Done!
I have wanted to go here since before it opened and was waiting for everything to calm down a bit with the pandemic. I finally made a trip out there today and it exceeded my expectations. The staff on the phone when I called ahead were always so so sweet and the staff when I went there in person were also all so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Everything I ordered food and drink wise was also amazing. And the place is just beautiful. Been an MGK fan for years and what a cool place to put in downtown Cleveland. Will absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone!
From the second you walk in you feel the vibe! 1 of a kind layout and set up! Food and smoothies are amazing !!!! Great staff too!
They were super duper nice and helpful! awesome place to visit.
We stopped in for cocktails on Wednesday & had such a great time! Emily was our bartender and she absolutely killed it and was just so sweeet. She made us a rose matcha cocktail that was delishhh & we got The Joker. Definitely will come back we had such a fun time (-:
This place rocks! Went here at 7 am because my hotel coffee was like pond water. Got coffee Pothead brand I believe and an SOS breakfast sandwich. Was delicious. Wife wanted to go back around 10 am for more food but line went out the door and around the corner! Highly recommended this place!
Got the Diablo Latte and it was delicious! The energy was great!
I liked the place, industrial chic. Place order and pay, servers bring food to table. Smooth operation. One nit to pick is food could have been warmer when served, we did sit outside and it was lunchtime.
I was really excited to step into this coffee shop for the very first time. Walked in to order and had to wait until these two girls were done with their conversation right at the register. Then the one girl turned around and gave me this nasty stink face of a look just making me feel very unwelcomed. Not really looking to come back until they hire someone who isnt rude.
Great atmosphere
Great cold brew and neatly designed inside the store. Good crowd management and loved the colors and aesthetics.
Definitely a hip/ trendy place. Glad it was a nice clear day. 35 minutes waiting outside in line (only about 6 people in front of us til you get in the door)Was informed everything is made from scratch, so it would be about 30 minutes. Cool. We proceed to go and sit on the patio and enjoy some cleveland summer weather. Now, I am one of the most understanding people when it comes to the current times, finding help and being understaffed, however, about 40 minutes after placing our order, one order of cinnamon rolls come out., no biggie, 10 mins past estimated time. 10 minutes later, a sandwich came out (now the cinnamon rolls are cold, cause, you know, its rude to eat before all the food is on the table) its now been exactly 1 hour and I literally just got my food.Food is about 4 stars. Chicken and waffles are good. Coffee is great. But to pay $50 for 2 cups of coffee and 3 meals, and all the food is cold before we can eat together is unacceptable.
10/10 fantastic experience! Service, drinks, food all top quality 👌 Can definitely see all the thought put into every detail.
Cool unique coffee shop/ club
Visited this place today and was surprised that it wasn’t busy. I got the pink iced latte I thought it was decent but thought it would be better. The flatbread was really good! Loved the aesthetic, just wished there were more seats. Employees seemed nice. Would go again!
Only got a smoothie. It’s super cute inside. But I was rushed to order and then took almost 40 minutes to get one smoothie. But it was extremely good.
Two stars because the girl with the green hair was nice. The Rest of my experience, however, was not.Edited to add - Your reply doesnt make sense.
Wasnt exactly what I expected. I honestly was thinking it would be more edgy in atmosphere, but it was still neat. Coffee was decent for what I tried. They really followed covid regulations heavily. So good on them for that. Staff was great super friendly, they work fast.
Nice little, and I mean little place. Long line and I could see an expansion soon. Prices are ridiculous expensive but it was nice to visit. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the staff was very friendly and super awesome. Yeah I will probably visit again next time I am Cleveland
We only came for coffee, expecting it to be a bit gimmicky, but surprisingly it was actually really good with some high quality unique drinks. Be aware though - the line out front was insane! If you plan to get a table, expect to wait an hour or so. To-go orders took long too, so make sure you have time set aside. My only complaint is that hey didnt have strawless lids
Place is good everyone there is really nice
Very cool spot, with coffee drinks, alcohol.(beer, cocktails, etc.) and great design on the inside
Im a strong coffee drinker for me was tp weak, great atmosphere
Everything about this place is super cool, the layout of the place, all the decorations, the music, the staff, the merch, and the the food is awesome way better than I expected. The coffee is also cool looking and great tasting. Hope this place never closes 🤞
I ordered the cinnamon rolls and they look nothing like the photo, no icing or pecans definitely not worth $8
Great coffee, cute atmosphere. Needs more tables
The chicken & waffles were sooo good! Was not expecting the food to be this good but it was
The vibe here is unmatched! Such a cool interior! Our coffee was delicious. We ordered some cocktails as well and they were okay. I think they would have been more balanced if the bartender had measured the ingredients instead of just eyeballing them (without a speed pourer), but they were still okay. Cool merch as well and the staff was friendly.
Coffee was average at best. The food was good, hence the 3 stars.
Super hip spot. Drinks are good. However, if you’re ordering food, even just a cinnamon roll, it takes quite a while (we waited 35 mins for a cinnamon roll and a sandwich)
Very cool little club that serves coffee, tea, smoothies, beer, wine, and drinks. Also had a decent food menu.
There was a long wait for overly expensive coffee and kind of a tacky interior. Trust me, the pictures on google make it look way cuter than it actually was. If you’re coming here for the gimmick go for it but if you want a tasty drink starbucks makes them better.
I really enjoyed it. Coffee was smooth. I got a bacon egg cheese sandwich and they served it with a fresh fruit cup. Delicious. Be prepared to wait though. They had a line out the door when I left.
