Good local food store in the middle of a food desert, that you wouldnt expect. Im disabled so walking up north of Madison to family dollar is a pain, and I have a medical condition that prevents me from eating gluten. So my main grocery store is Aldis once a month, but when I need day to day items walking that far is strenuous and exhausting for me. Im so grateful to have a local grocery store with cheap unexpired items. Even some household goods. Its like any five and dime or discount and dent store youd find in the country, so Im very grateful that this is here and whoever runs it seems aware of the needs of the community.
When I say there stuff is expired ... it’s HORRIBLY old . I’ve brought things from here that had mold and even bugs in it . Don’t ever buy their meat or produce or bakery stuff. I have no idea how this place is open. They say they close at 10 outside and always close whenever they feel like it .
Great products and amazing quality!
Often has spoiled meats and other past date items.Store smells bad
Nice place.
Best experience. Great deals on fresh meat.Great customer service. For convenience for our neighborhood.
Everything I have bought from this store us outo of date. Some items are even 2 years old and they still sell them but at a lower price. Their meat is not fresh at all. They hide the date with price tags. Please watch what you buy here.
Decent family-owned store with good variety for a family-owned store.
Cloest thing to a grocer in the neighborhood. Has fresh meats n deli
A variety of things to offer
I live 2 blocks from Alexandria market and dont drive, so it a great convenience for shopping for all my grocery needs.
Everything I buy is super old or stale...
