LOVE Parma Armory!! Just became a member thanks to our man John! He’s helped us so much and I’m so thankful he had us come there. Zach has been so great helping us set up our compound bows. Definitely see him for all archery needs! Will always helps us in retail and is awesome like these other guys. Highly recommend Parma Armory!!! Love the people and the facility!

Joe is an unapologetic realist and humanist with a wicked sense of humor, which makes his teaching style both highly engaging and informative. I left his class knowing more, being more confident and having a deeper appreciation for how important attitude is in all defense scenarios.The entire staff at Parma Armory were a pleasure to work with and the facility was a great space to learn in, even on a 90 degree day. Don deserves a special shout-out for his great and patient instruction.Thank you all for making it a great day of training!

Went last night to look for a weapon. Hubby buying me one for our anniversary. Picked the one I wanted and was offered free range time with purchase. Staff was very nice and helpful. They even have a gentleman who can custom paint and do designs on your weapon. Looking forward to going to their range.

I had my first Shots training class today and Don was my trainer. He did a great job making everyone feel comfortable, confident and he made us all laugh. I learned a lot about gun safety and knowledge. Don and Mike took us to the range to actually use a gun. They did a good job explaining how to load a magazine, use proper safety procedure and made us feel comfortable and confident about using a gun. I will be back to shoot on the range for more practice and to take my CCW class. I definitely will recommend to anyone who has never shot a gun before or have any knowledge on one. great class and you will walk out very confident.

Took archery lessons here. Coach Rob is a great instructor! Great range... Both targets and 3D animals that can be moved! They even fit my new compound bow to my draw length and strength. Everyone involved was super friendly.

First time picking up a gun today and Tracy couldnt have been a better teacher. Not only putting an emphasis on safety, but he was encouraging and absolutely wonderful company during the entire process. By the end of the lesson, it felt like I was learning from a friend rather an instructor and I think thats what separates a great coach from a good one.

Do yourself a favor and tell the employees if you are new to firearms. They are all so incredibly nice, and helpful. Nobody will ever make you feel dumb for not knowing something. I went to use the range with my wife last week, and I informed the woman at the desk that we should be put down as novice shooters. She asked if we had ever shot before, we both have - and even have taken firearm classes. I told her we werent unfamiliar, but not yet pros. She smiled and said, well we can get you there!. The range was clean and orderly. At least three employees were on the range watching all the action, and even stopping folks who were inadvertently walking in without their eye protection on. Because I had indicated we were novice shooters, all three employees on the range (with our permission) came right up and helped us work the range equipment, helped with stance and recoil management, and even helped my wife with a better technique to rack the slide. The whole while, all of us had a smile on our face. This facility has absolutely secured our business going forward!

When you got experts like Don and Joe teaching you CCW, your gonna learn and the time is gonna fly by. Glad I picked to learn here, will be back often.

This is the best place for beginners and advance shooters. I cant say enough about how friendly the staff is and how they welcome people here. The facilities are the best and the checking/check out process is a breeze. The young woman at the check is very nice--very knowledgable. Tracie at the range is simply superb. I really appreciate customer service at this level. They make you feel like royalty.

I’ve heard great things about Parma armory and wanted to try them out. In return I received horrible customer service I felt uneasy being here like I was a threat because of my race I was lied to, felt cheated out of my money and the interaction with discussing products was very vague and overall a bad experience to make me not want to return I give 0 stars

Beware! Parma armory has a different process for doing FFL. My wifes gun was delivered via ups on September 29, 2021 and it is now October 13, 2021. When you call its a whole problem like your bothering someone. The guy answers the phone like “ Did we call you?!? If not wait “ as of making this review she still hasn’t gotten the call that its ready. Will never use parma armory for anything ever again. Michael Daubner is a highly recommended FFL. Bud guns as well as the BBB and ATF will been notified as well for the poor customer service. Do not use. Do not use. Wish i could leave a zero star

I had a very positive experience at Parma Armory. I went through their CCW class. Don and William did an excellent job leading the class I was not bored and I learned a lot. I also have a lot more confidence in handling and using firearms. It was a fun day.When the class was over, I stopped in the gun shop and was pleasantly surprised they had a particular item I was looking for. Ive been used to seeing inflated prices online and the Parma Armory price was normal retail without any ridiculous markup. So I went home with a new item as well. Their checkout process was all electronic and didnt take very long. They also had ammunition for sale which had been hard to come by lately as well. Zachary did an excellent job in helping me in the store.I cannot speak to their range as we used a private range for our class, but I did get some free range time with the CCW class so I am looking forward to going back soon.I highly recommend checking out Parma Armory for training, practice or purchasing a firearm!

Started last year here with the First Shots class with Joe who taught us all the basics and had our first chance to shoot. From that point on we are hooked. The staff at Parma Armory are all very professional, helpful and strict about the rules which given the nature of this business is a great thing. The range officers will help you learn and keep the lanes safe at all times. Prices are fair and the facility is beautiful. This week I took CCW course with Dale and Josh and they were terrific, very knowledgeable and thorough in their teaching. I dont plan to try any other indoor range as Parma Armory has not disappointed my family at all.

This place is grades above the rest. I never knew I needed more from an indoor range but these guys figured it out. Samantha especially was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the awesome amount of offerings they have.

Took my kids to the armory on a rainy day as a surprise. They have been asking to go back since the last time they shot. Tried the virtual simulator and they loved it. Zach was a big help teaching them the fundamentals .

Stopped in to shoot today 7/9. Upon arrival I was greeted by a young gentleman. As he was checking my friend and myself in he proceeded to pull an AR Assault Rifle off of the highest point on the shelf point it at my self and my guest as he proceeded to clear the weapon. Had a few words with the management on duty at the time as all they kept asking me is what I would like to happen (as if To say we are not going to do anything about it). They would not replay the tape while I was there and were laughing and joking like this was no big deal. It has now been 3 hours since the incident that occurred at approximately 4:30 pm on 7/9. No one has reached out to me yet. 100% unprofessional and I will not be back.

I enjoy coming here. Friendly staff and always open lanes to shoot. Samantha checked us in (and out) today when I shot with my father and was super friendly and knowledgeable! Give her a raise!

My first day meeting John S was a great experience especially seeing I was a first time shooter, he gave me the knowledge about the canik because that’s what I was interested in. I was also given a one on one instructor for a private lesson and his name was Tracy. I had a absolute wonderful time in the range with him and he made me feel comfortable and gave me pointers as well. They both have excellent customer service skills and great sense of humor. My first time experience was awesome because of the two of them and they are the reasons why I keep coming back.To Zachary that sold me the FN 509 thank you for your knowledge and for helping me make a decision between that and the canik. I ended up buying the FN 509 and I love it.William 0. I had a great time with you while I was purchasing the canik tp9 elite combat. You are seriously funny with a great sense of humor. I still can’t believe I bought the last canik. Wonderful sales guy.You have a wonderful team and I honestly enjoy the environment. The moment John S seen me, he informed me that you all received a Canik and he knew how bad I wanted the tp elite combat. Chris was nice on the phone and in person. Over the phone he confirmed the gun I bought was still available and set it aside for me. In person he made buying quick and easy. Out the door in 30 minutes!

I bought a 38 special and Chris was a huge help in showing me the different models they had available. I would definitely recommend checking them out.

I will continue to keep making my purchases at this location. Again employees were extremely helpful and very personable. The one employee remembered me from last time when i purchased my fire arm. Today I went in for some ammo. This place is fully stocked this time when I went in and it was an impressive sight.Ill be honest even if an item is a little more expensive here than say a big store, I will still no matter what make my purchase here. I will spend the extra money to support a local business and for the service they have given me multiple times.

Took the Parma Armory CCW class this past weekend with my husband. The instructors were great! Joe was super charismatic, and really informative, certainly made it engaging. Don was equally full of knowledge and made me feel so at ease in the range. The class room was roomy, clean, and comfortable. Having no real-world experience with firearms, the Parma Armory was definitely the right choice for me to visit. Before making my first purchase, I was able to take a 1st Shots class and also receive private instruction. I recommend both! Joe and Tracey were great instructors.The salesmen helped me figure out the correct weapon for my hand size, which before visiting, I didnt even realize was a factor.The more you learn before you buy, the better chance you have at making the correct choice. The team at the Parma Armory are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They can help you with everything you need to know as long as you are willing to ask questions.If you are unsure where to start, be sure to take the 1st Shots class. You will learn about safety, firearm handling, and even get to take a few practice shots. It is worth every cent.

After driving an hour to purchase a firearm Ive been trying to find for 6 months they would not sell it to me because my ID had my middle initial rather than the full name. Even with a valid CCW. I have never had an issue purchasing a firearm with my ID before.

I took the archery class here about a month ago now with my sister and her girlfriend. Our teacher was Rob, he taught us safety and the basics of archery for the first half an hour or so. The next half an hour was hands on training.Ive always loved superheros who use archery, and I have self trained with a bow on and off throughout the years; so taking a class like this was way over due for me. I learned way more about archery within the first hour of this class, then I have throughout all my years of self training. I now know that most of everything I was doing was wrong, right down to the equipment I was using.The class was very insightful and really fun; and Im excited to go back and practice what I learned. Rather youre trying to learn how to shoot a Gun, or Bow, I highly recommend this place for training.

3 friends and I went to take a taste of archery and it was so much fun!!!! Excellent instructor who was so nice and patient while teaching us, and there were fun games we played after, such a great experience, will probably go back for a longer class again soon!

When my girlfriend and I went to this range for the the first time. I was impressed by the range and the RO’s they were extremely helpful. However I must leave a 2 star because we arrived a hour before close the day we visited and we checked out with the woman at the counter only to notice we had been charge a fee for “extra time” on the range. Which would bot be possible since we arrived a hour before close and the RO’s informed us what time they were closing. Unfortunate nice range I live in Willoughby i would return but not after that.

Another great time! My daughters Girl Scout troop had archery today. The girls learned a lot and had so much fun. Coach Rob and Coach Kelly took their times with each girl. No one felt rushed. The girls all wanted to do it again.

Intro to archery with Rob was great! My son had a lot of fun and learned so much by the end of the course. Rob is a passionate instructor and did a fantastic job engaging everyone and helping them meet success!

Had a great experience at Parma Armory purchasing my first firearm. They were extremely informative with the selection of the firearm and then had the opportunity to go on range with instructor to really get comfortable and understand gun safety. This should be where you go to purchase your first firearm, and every firearm.

We had a birthday archery party with 6 people we had such a great time Robert, Zach and Fred were extremely helpful

A company called about a month prior to the date and time needed and spoke with a manager. He told them yes to the date and times requested for the range and classroom. He told them what range and the time. About two weeks prior to the date scheduled, they called to confirm everything was good and to see if anything was needed. They spoke with the sameManager again. He didn’t have them down for the same range time nor the same location. He also failed to tell them during the first conversation that they open at 9am and we couldn’t start at 8am like first agreed.Now fast forward to the day. Once arrived they asked what classroom they would be in. This was asked to 3 different employees all to which were confused but said the same classroom number. Once in that classroom another Instructor is angered that they are in his classroom and starts a short argument. The instructor leaves the room to get an employee. To avoid a confrontation, they decide to pack up and move to a new classroom. While moving, they spoke up and said how unprofessional and unorganized this place is. The other instructor who was double booked in the same room stated he has been “using this facility for 3 years now and it happens all the time”. They expressed how that isn’t okay. An employee comes to tell us how sorry he was but stated, “it’s not that big of a deal.” However, the students were there and had to move classrooms so it was a big deal and was unprofessional. When trying to pay for the range and classroom for the day, they had yet to been entered into their system so they couldn’t figure out how to take payment. This took 15minutes to do.While using the 5 star range it was like being in a fishbowl. People on top of the glass watching. Also another instructor from the facility poked his head in only to ask when they would be finished! They told him they still had 30 minutes left on their time slot and he says “who told you that” and “was that scheduled with the manager?” They advised the instructor that it was set up with the GM and he replied “not what we were told”. Long story short. Unprofessional. Unorganized. I even called to speak with the owner Rob E. since they had several more classes scheduled here and he never called me back. The foot traffic here was a big concern to me as well.

Overall, this is a nice place but today, it was chaos.... a line out the door and down the hall to pay for range time, huge crowds waiting to purchase weapons/items once you got in the store, and large groups waiting for range lanes in the lobby. When we finally got to a register a charge of $25 was added for one of us missing the target. I can understand if there was damage or a repair that needed to be made but there was neither. To be charged $25 for an attendant to spray paint the target holder with a can of black paint is a bit ridiculous! I won’t return to this range, I can think of several other places I would rather practice and shoot than this location!

I spend part of my birthday here with 5 friends, the cashier lady and a gentleman were both so nice and patient with us as our experience is pretty new. The facility is neat! I will definitely come back.

Decided to get my CCW, enlisted help of the gang at Parma Armory to guide me thru process...from registration to instruction with Joe and range pointers from Don was coached and taught the ropes from A to Z...great atmosphere, all staff members friendly and helpful...awesome facility!...Chris and Brandon in the store bust my chops but know their stuff...just a cool place.

Clean facility. The guy and girl at check in are extremely courteous, super nice and helpful. The check out room is a different world. They are often rude to customers. I asked can he split the charges between cash and card and got an attitude. You can stand there forever looking for accessories etc without any help. Trump stickers in abundance. Odd for a buisnes to have personal politics involved. You should want everyone to feel welcome.

November 10th is my birthday – slightly special than any other day…EXCEPT at Parma Armory! I decided to take their “Taste of Archery” class and boy, they not only made my day special – they made it FANTASTIC!!! Since it was my 1st time there, everyone greeted me and they were very personable. Robert Schaefer is the Archery Director and was my instructor that day, along with Fred, his partner in crime. Not only was Robert very detailed in his instructions, he made learning the sport fun too! By the time my class was over, I used 9 arrows to pop 7 balloons! Robert was impressed – me too! I am HOOKED!A special Thanks to Heather for joining the boys to sing Happy Birthday to me. I am looking forward to taking the 6 hour class so I can compete in some outside archery events. Check them out – let them make YOUR day! BTW - I had such a blast that I was on cloud-9 when I left!!! (and it lasted the rest of the afternoon!!!)A SPECIAL THANKS to everyone at the Parma Armory for a wonderful memory!

Very friendly staff in the store, unfortunately didnt have what I wanted, but thats how it goes at this time. Very roomy and comfortable for those in wheelchairs/power chairs. Will return to check out gun range.

Have been going to The Parma Armory since Aug 2020. Every associate Ive dealt with has been friendly and helpful. I recently attended the CCW class. The instructor Joe Rondon was terrific. He was an excellent speaker and teacher. He spoke loud and clear. And very knowledgeable. He had a good sense of humor too which helped the time go by well. I definitely recommend The Parma Armory. I plan on going back myself!

Last Monday my fiancée and I visited Parma Armory for the first time. We experienced nothing but great service from the staff & range. The building was very clean. The staff greeted and welcomed us right away with a smile. Any questions we had in the office, were answered perfectly. The range is awesome!!!!! Spacious, bright and plenty of lanes on both floors. Definitely will be visiting again soon!

I just called this place to ask if my wife could set up classes to get her Carrying concealed license and asked if it was legal because I have a medical marijuana card they told me no it is illegal I know for a fact That my wife is perfectly within her rights I will not be sending her here to get her license we will go elsewhere and I just thought I might add you guys need to study your laws before you miss lead or give somebody false information thank you and have a good day

Staff can be on edge, but it’s an intense setting (guns and all..). Having said that, staff is very helpful especially for beginners like myself. Place is clean, well regulated, cool custom gun store.

Worst customer service Ive ever had. I have bought two guns here and shoot here weekly. After today though Ill never return, we accidentally shot the carrier and were charged. No problem I accept that rule, however what I dont accept is being scolded like a six year old 4 times for it when it only happened once. Youre employees are always rude, but to come in and tell at me and my friend for an honest mistake then come back in 3 more times because you wanted to flex your position was unacceptable. I told both workers Ill never return, and the response was oh well we dont really care. Maybe you should hire people with skills in treating your customers.

My first time shooting here and I was impressed! Staff was friendly and super knowledgeable! I felt very comfortable and safe! They take safe shooting very seriously which I love! My uncle and cousin bought memberships and I will be purchasing a membership soon as well, even though its a 45 minute drive its well worth it!

A friend of mine is interested in learning to shoot. I told her about your range and how helpful/knowledgeable your staff is and will be bringing her and probably her husband up there soon. They live in Parma Hts. area and she is looking to rent/try out some pistols. Your range is the cleanest, safest, nicest around, from what Ive seen. Im happy to introduce new peeps to it! I went here for my thirteenth birthday with my dad and every staff member there was so friendly, I even cut my hand on my first shot, and one of the staff members got me a bandage and said weve all been there man Highly recommended.

Just went for the first time yesterday and had a good experience. The range is probably the nicest I’ve ever been inside of. Not that this would matter to most, but being an Air Force vet that was an aircraft mechanic, I really enjoyed seeing the Air Force blues hung up with a picture of a Vietnam era aircraft maintainer. Staff was nice, selection of guns for sale was pretty slim, and I’m not sure what ammo prices were. I’ll definitely revisit.

I went there today a relative novice with guns. The staff was incredibly helpful. Very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to help me out. Ive already decided to take classes there based upon the efficiency and the interaction with the staff.

I just completed an archery class at the Parma Armory range. Robert Schaefer was the instructor, and his experience and methods were outstanding! He focused on safety, having fun (and we did!) and was extremely patient and kind. He is a Class 1 and 2 certified instructor and his knowledge, coupled with the first class equipment and range made the course a really great experience. From young to old, anyone can benefit from the class and range. Our class had incredible improvement in shooting skill with everyone making great progress on accuracy and consistency.I highly recommend the class and the range!
