I ordered my kid glasses 2 months and 5 day exactly, I went there and nothing, I call and the optical department don’t answers the phone. I really don’t understand how they work. The doctor are good but the services is horrible, they don’t even call explained what happened and when I went there the girl the was there acts like she doesn’t care.

Took my 7 yo daughter for her first eye appointment per her pediatrician’s recommendation. She saw Dr. Xingtong Li and she is absolutely horrible. One of the worst doctors I’ve ever dealt with. She has no patience to deal with kids and my daughter is super well behaved. She rushed through the appointment. We were in with her for 5 minutes tops! My daughter was very nervous and she made her feel worse. Then she has the nerve to tell me to go buy glasses from them. No, thanks! I will not give you any more business. Learn how to treat patients, especially kids! If you don’t like it, why accept them as patients? If you are too busy, then don’t book so many patients.

I’m mostly staying for the doctor that I have been seeing here for a few years, but the customer service of the front desk is abysmal. No one seems to know when they open. I called at 7am to make an appointment (the time their website says the office opens) and kept getting an answering machine. I was later told that the office opens at that time for patients but that the answering service opens at 8am for appointments. So, I called at that time. They were still closed. I proceeded to call approximately 5x after. When I finally got a hold of someone they told me the contact department opens at 9. I had to make multiple phone calls again as the contact department was supposedly going to open at 9:15, then 9:30, then supposedly 10AM (I was told by various front desk personnel of different times to call back). Finally got a hold of someone and made an appointment. Awful customer service. If it persists will definitely look else where, even if I really do like my doctor.This is an edit to my original post. I don’t know when I initially wrote my commentary above, but it’s now August. When I went to my appointment for a re-examination to reorder my contacts I was told I didn’t actually need to be re-examined because I wasn’t pass the one year mark, so my previous results are still valid. The woman at the desk told me to just call the contact department and order them online. **To reiterate, I was in the facility, in person, already ready for my appointment and she told me it was unnecessary. When I called this morning, the contact department told me I have to come in and that my last appointment was in fact last year and that the woman at the desk got the year mixed up. **To reiterate, she got the year of my last visit which is supposedly in my record mixed up. No apology. No accountability for the confusion or misunderstanding. Now they want me to go back in and actually have a re-examination. This is just awful service. I am literally baffled. I’ve decided to switch to another provider because at this point, the headache of dealing with the front desk is just not worth continuing with the doctor I like. If you want organization and fast paced, effective service, this unfortunately is not the place to go. I do not recommend this place at all.

Services are great. I felt comfortable from the moment I entered. Staff are awesome from sign in, Receptionist, nurse and doctor. My 1st visit as a recommendation and Im truly grateful. I was in and out in one hour.

I had a fantastic experience. The good looking clean facility is run very efficiently. Its fast and effective, with great staff and doctors. The retail part is excellent as well. Caroline (and associates, Kelly) helped me with my eye glasses, and she (and they) were a lot of fun, very personable and great.

Extremely disappointed. The staff does not know what are they doing. I was ping-ponged from one department to another. They didnt have my follow up information. Health care is sensitive sector and the reception has to be trained and well educated and informed about what are they doing rather than scratching their head infront of patients.

Very bad service, unprofessional people just waist of time to go there. This place is not a medical office who care of their patients and respect their time. For more than one month my son back and forth to see the eye doctor for examination then they end up saying he has to come back to meet someone to order contacts but never call back. When I call back the office to see what’s going and we have been waiting more than a week because my is going to school with no contacts & glasses and he needs it ASAP. Someone told me I have available in November which is one month from now to come back just for ordering eye contacts. That’s place is waist of time and unprofessional!!

I made an appt for my son after school hours waited months for apptDays before I got 3 texts to confirm appt AND a phone call to confirm with consequences of a CANCELLED APPT and $50 fee!!Ok no problem… I confirmed and confirmed and confirmedDay of appt they call me and say Dr has to leave early come earlier (he’s in school!) or reschedule for a month later!They lied and said they called me about this on Saturday ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE I have the cell phone data on my phoneto show NO CALL from them other then the one days before to CONFIRMI would like to charge them $50 for MY TIME as I arranged my work day around this apptThe lack of caring for this sudden change and the aggravation it is causing me plus the outright LIE about calling me on Saturday is unacceptableI am taking my son to a much better Dr even of it costs me moreSave yourself the grief go elsewhere

It’s took me two days just to get a hold of contact lens department, and it was an absolutely epic failed for customer service. Regret to go there and pay the entire eyes exam for my contact lens out of pocket!

I am not the one to share my experiences at places but today at NJ EYE AND EAR, I was helped by Deisy and I had to express my gratitude towards her. Talk about customer service skills, she’s got it. Talk about kind and helpful, she’s got it. Talk about being resourceful and putting the customers priority and concerns first and at ease, she’s got it. Not only I feel happy after being helped by her but also feel like she made it easy for me and to me that’s very valuable. I’ve been a customer of this place for 3 years now and have always had a great experience. Top notch service.

This is the worst office, you can even get an appointment to see the doctor! I called few weeks and the put me on hold for 15 minutes or say they will call back (which they never did) when finally get the chance to speak to someone, they dont have anything available until next month!!!

My experience here was really good. The staff is very polite and welcoming; from the greeter to the receptionist to the assistant and Dr. Arriola. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was thoroughly tested and felt comfortable with the process. Also Heily who helped me pic out my lenses was very helpful. I will definitely go back every year! Highly recommend.

Amazing experience! Pediatric center is great as well as the adult side! They are so considerate and understanding! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to see a good doctor and get great service! Front desk girls are extremely friendly!

Still waiting for my contact lens for which the order was placed on 12th July 2021. It’s 8th September 2021, unless they are fabricating n manufacturing the lens I don’t know what’s the delay for. The doctors are okay the administration is EPIC FAIL

Dr.Veronica Ramsarat is a wonderful, compassionate, and understanding through eye doctors I ever seen. She has great knowledge of issues with the eyes. She goes beyond her duty as doctor. NJ EYE & EAR is a very clean place with a very helpful staff too. I highly recommend.

The pediatric part of this practice never ceases to amaze me. They are so unorganized and really does not compare to the service of the adult side. I sometimes wonder who hires in each side. Had an appointment Friday and they called me to reschedule to today. Show up today they said they called to reschedule and gave me a cell number that does not belong to me. How do you suddenly not have the right number? I drove all the way here just to go back home. I try to give this place a shot and each and every time they let me down.

The staff at NJ Eye and Ear are friendly and very helpful. Also Dr. Bush is an excellent Ophthalmologist. I saw her today and she explained my problem in detail. Very good to find such a nice Doctor.

I called the office and verified if the practice is in network with my vision insurance. I provided all of my insurance information, the woman who answered said yes that they were in network. Therefore, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 8:25 am. When I got to the office the woman at the front asks for my vision insurance card then tells me that the doctor on staff does not participate with my insurance. ?!? Irresponsible. They should have called me ahead of time so that I did not waist my time.

They said the glasses were going to be ready in 2 weeks but it turned out 3 months! We called 3 times and every time we called, they said they will call us once it’s ready. But they didn’t call and we kept waiting. We wasted a lot of time.Moreover, the business hours on the website is not right! You better call before you go.Worst experience!

I came by recommendation of family member. One of the Doctors actually cured my eye illness that in other place could not.Unfortunately, that dr no longer works for this organization.No eye dilatation was needed to get the right eye drop.I disagree getting eye dilatation for any issue in my eye, as one of the doctor here recommends.

I work with individuals with mental disabilities as an Assistant manager and they were very patient from the young women taking temperatures to miss Jerdy handling paperwork fitting us in, understanding the behaviors of our guys to doctor Bush helpingOut also being understanding and helping with behaviors 10/10 highly recommend. I even made and appointment for myself. Most places give you the side a but everyone was very helpful

Do yourself a favor and never go here. My wife and kids came here TWICE and both times the receptionist couldnt verify their insurance. Verification shouldve been done during the week, NOT wait until the family is standing in front of you on a Saturday morning when Insurance companies dont have customer service Reps to verify. This happened TWICE like I stated earlier. The first time, I get it, they didnt know. They rescheduled my family and said theyll take care of it come the next appointment. Obviously they did not since we made another wasted trip to this unprofessional hell hole. On top of all that, they had a Its not our fault, we dont care attitude about the whole thing, BOTH times. Were taking our business elsewhere to which they might not even care and thats fine by me, but PLEASE dont go there, I wouldnt want anyone else to experience such horrible customer service like we did.

By far the worst customer service, I have received. The doctor was great super nice the problem there is the optical service. I went to get glasses for my son and I. The sales woman there shows you glasses, but will never give you prices! My insurance covers 300$ Each for my son and I and she told me only 275$ were eligible. She scammed me, trying to charge me 300$ for frames and then the lenses were 200 for a 14 yr old boy. She did the same for me 250$ on frames and 200 for lens. I asked her several times the prices and said they were super expensive. She said my eye sight was bad and the lenses were the most expensive. She never told me the price of the frames, when I looked at y receipt she charged 730$ I went back cancelled my order. She was rude and dismissive. Also, I have been trying to get in contact with her for days now there is a hold on my insurance. I cannot get glasses anywhere because of this. I have called left messages and no response. I have been left on hold and nothing. Do not waste your time here, check your receipt, they use your insurance money for their frames only to make more money.

I’ve always been iffy about this place. Some times they are nice, other times they are so unprofessional and rude. You guys need to get it together. Nice customers are supposed to be treated with curtesy. If they are well mannered no need for the rude way of communicating. Some of you need people skills, rude!

Dr Lee is the best . She is caring and knows her job well . I am in a medical field and know how tough it is to handle the whole floor by yourself. Front staffs are pretty rude . I thought they are having a bad day . But I came today and yesterday. Their behavior towards the patient is about the same even today . Especially the one Who checks they temperature at the door on 12/02 and today which is 12/03 . Her hand is on her phone all the time .hoping someone is checking on her . Back staffs are very nice, caring and understanding. I will have their name in my next review.

It’s bad serivece.The doctor made glass for my son wrong .He wore glasses for 4months and wrong .When he go outside he fell down .the doctor lee doesn’t understand any thing about medicine .when I went back to her I toke glasses off .My son see every thing and she snatched the Description quickly .She hide the Description because she was wrong .

Love this office! Have been a patient all my life, my mother and grandmother are patients here for even longer. They’ve always provided excellent care with great customer service. Very annoying. They canceled 2 appointments for my daughters eye doctor, 1 when I was about to arrive the previous Saturday, December 26, 2020, and today, Saturday, January 2, 2021, when I was already there. It bothers me more that before the 2 appointments they sent me text messages confirming the appointment, and today I called 40 minutes before going and they did not tell me anything about the cancellation, they waited for me to come to tell me. Today also before they attend me, I saw how they told another mother that her appointment was canceled because she had not confirmed her message system. The mother told them that today was the second time they made her go and canceled her appointment. I was sad because her child had a red eye. I went to the office on Main Ave to speak with the manager and they said there was no one there. I wanted to show them my phone with the appointment confirmation messages for these 2 Saturdays, and the call time I made before arriving for my appointment. It bothers me a lot that they charge you for a late or late cancellation, but they dont have the slightest consideration or respect for your time.

Horrible experience, specially during this unprecedented times. I’ve received several bills from months ago almost a year ago stating I owe a balance and when I contact the billingDepartment both representatives who I spoke with one in the morning and one in the evening, did not know how to do their job which they get paid for and service me properly, assist me with my inquiries and on top of that super disrespectful and rude. People like that don’t deserve a job dealing with people calling for information, resolution, information or simple assistance. Also refused to listen and tried to speak over me. I really hope their calls are recorded because their management needs to seriously train this people better or invest in better recruitment for when they start hiring. I will no longer use their services because of the poor customer service, horrible experience and a bad look on the company itself NJ Eye & EAR. I will tell all my relative and friends so that they also stop using their services.

Generally very pleased with NJ Eye & Ear. The only.minor annoyance is the wait to see the Dr. after the pictures are taken and other tests. From appt. Time to pictures and tests only about 5 or 10 minutes. After testing wait for doctor almost 40 min. Too long.

This is a terrible place. All the stuffs are rude, especially the girl who stays by the door to check people in and check temperature, she is very disrespectful and aggressive. Thats not how you treat your customers. Doctors are the nicest.They always have extremely amount of people with no self distancing. They should give appointments to everyone accordingly this place is not safe lots of people here.Never coming back to this location ever again.

I really wish less than one star was possible. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff. They dont get the right insurance information and then you get unreasonable bills. When I called to inquire about the bill I received, I was told that the doctor my daughter saw was not accepting my insurance. Nobody told me that at the time I made the appointment. Best is yet to come...The lady at the billing department just hung up on me!!! How rude!!! Stay away from these people. 2.8 out of 5 rating is overrated for this business.

Horrible with timing. Waited an hour last week for the doctor to see me for 2 minutes and prescribed me medication. Appointment confirmed then show up and it’s not listed. Wasted my time and gas.I felt very rushed and literally no bedside manner.

This location is great all the staff are helpful especially Mariel and shivanni these two were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful it took me so long to learn how to put my sclera contacts in, I would start to lose the motivation to put them on but they kept pushing me and pushing me til I got them in. They made the process so much easier and enjoyable glad I met them.

Staff are rude, unorganized, and aggresive. They are not helpful and uninformed on how to do their job. As a patient you are treated poorly and left without any real care. Trust me when i tell you this office is nothing more than an insurance milking machine. Suspicious billing practices and business operation. Save your time, effort, and money. We deserve better.

During the time of pandemic, all clinics are minimizing contact of patients with other patients; thats been the case with all Dr. appointments but not here. We were in the waiting room with 10 other patients for 30 mins. Absolutely unacceptable during these times. What is the reason for giving so many appointments if you cant handle patient throughout.Absolutely no excuses for this kinda treatment. No one knows how good their air conditioning filters are, or how often their seats are sanitized etc.This was my first time here and I will think about coming back here again.When I tell the technician that its been really long waiting and with so many patients am not comfortable sitting here, am told you can wait anywhere or outside. Instead of being apologetic and understanding she has the audacity to be rude. How pathetic is that. To top it all she had her mask below her nose !!!!!!!
