While the paint is good, the service is less than consistent for DYI folks. Information is contradictory from one sales person to the next (I had to call twice about a paint issue on brick and basically they were winging it). The biggest issue besides the astronomical pricing is the color chips in the store are not well lit and the colors are much different in your home. Do not buy before taking the chips home and setting against your walls with your lighting. The sample is not free as they make 1/4 gallon up. Its close but they have to cut the formula regardless and its not exact. They really are better than most big box stores but you pay premium for everything in the store with very little extra value. Also they really push the tinted primer so you cant return it. I ended up with a gallon of primer and paint I have zero use for now. I guess my kitchen will be tan in the summer... 😉

I had an unfortunate experience at the Collierville store, but the manager Josh made it right. I appreciate his caring attitude.

Their paint is a little high in my opinion but I like the quality of it. Customer service is always good.

We are about to start a huge project, and didnt know where to begin. We walked in and were greeted by Candy, who guided us through how to pick colors and finishes, as well as explained which supplies we will need. Her service was top-notch. We will definitely be returning to this store, even though its not the closest to us, for the great customer service.

Typical paint store. I happen to be a professional painter, too. I loathe Sherwin Williams. Way overpriced, too many products with fancy names. Sherwin Williams isnt the same company anymore. Like most public companies, they care more for the share holders than the customers that use their products to make a living. Their sales staff are very well trained. Theyre able to just about convince anyone to buy their products exclusively. I once bought their products until I noticed that the paint was thinner, I noticed that they would purposely mix my color in the wrong base. The base is the color of paint in the can before they add the tint. For example, I had a customer that chose a bright yellow for an interior color. I rolled on a sample and I could tell immediately that it was going to take 5 or more coats to cover the existing color. 5 coats is unheard of in my trade. They shot it in a white pastel base. Why? They have a yellow base. But the guy behind the counter said that the computer would not allow him to shoot that color in a yellow base. So I took the paint to another store, he eye matched my color in a yellow base(by passed the evil computer and store manager) and guess what happened. Instead of 5 coats, it covered in 2. Enough said, I think youre picking up what Im laying down.

The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The paint and primer in one is great quality and makes painting projects much easier. The occasional 30 or 40 percent off sales make it a no brainer.

Brought in a full gallon of paint to have it retinted to a new shade. I was taken care of quickly and courteously. My wife and I have been to this store likely a half dozen times, we also very much like the professional color coordinating service - bring in samples of your tile, marble and fixtures and a few pictures, and someone can help you find the best color palette and shade.

That store needs more friendly, helpful staff. The guy who waited on me seemed like I was bothering him and when I told him what I was painting, he didnt offer any suggestions as to what type of paint to use. He just started mixing my paint.
