Great place to shop for christian materials.

I love this bookstore. I have not only purchased books I have had book signings there. I will be having another on May 4,2019 for my two childrens books, Miracle Me and I Can, Too!. The people who work there are just beautiful. They have such kind spirits and are readily available to assist all customers.

So upset with my visit today, I come here to buy gifts, books, and beautiful cards. I like to support local businesses, however I will not be back. I can purchase the same items just about anywhere. The older women was very rude. I do not know her name because out of the three women working she was the only one without a name tag. I watched her verbally attack two women looking at books. It was uncomfortable to witness. I felt so bad for them. I almost walked out without making my purchase.

Really great offerings!

Very disappointed in new location and some new staff. I went to purchase just a couple items and while a long term staff person was having no problems with transactions, it seemed a new staff person was having issues with mine and it almost seemed like she didn’t care to get assistance and was genuine sorry and to correct it. Instead I left and I felt like she thought it was me and my card- I shopped there for a couple years but I will never return as she obviously felt she was not wrong nor needed help by an experienced staff member.

The staff was very helpful and the store is filled with so many things. I need a overflow of abundance just get all the wonderful items I so love and want and need.

The Rainbow Christian store has closed and left the shopping center. They are no longer there, now a Rainbow clothing. Completely different store, owners...all. I cant believe the center let them leave, great store!

RAINBOW/PARABLE CHRISTIAN BOOK STORE HAS REOPENED! NEW LOCATION: 2550 BLVD, COLONIAL HEIGHTS. I CONFESS IM HAVING MIXED FEELINGS. IM GLAD THEY ARE REOPENING, IVE MISSED THEM. BUT I DONT APPRECIATE THIS HAVING BEEN THE SECOND TIME THEYVE GONE OUT OF BUSINESS AND THEN REOPEN. THEY KNOW THEYRE IMPORTANT TO THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY, YET HAVE DONE THIS TWICE. THEY COULD HAVE CALLED IT A MOVING SALE IF THEY WANTED TO LIGHTEN INVENTORY FOR THE MOVE. SORRY, BUT IT FEELS DECEPTIVE.(ORIGINAL REVIEW):Well, the store is gone....again. No one knows for sure if its gone for sure this time or will reappear elsewhere. Definitely miss it. My only dissatisfaction with it, when it reopened this last time, was the music being played and the variety of music to purchase. Very limited. Regardless, may the Lord bless the former owners in whatever is their new endeavour.
