My family loves Aldis. They do not sell everything and there are not a lot brand selection, but what is offered is high quality and at great prices. I can get delicious Belgian lager for just $6 per six-pack! The shopping cart thingy and bring your own bags is quirky but Aldis is a kooky German store after all.

Its a bring your own bag type of store. Also dont forget your quarter for the basket. The selection varies sometime you can fine great deals.

Aldi started out so well stocked and the array of products was pretty good. They had prices that was great. I really enjoyed going there to get my groceries and checking out the special isle. Lately I have noticed that little by little they have stopped selling products that I would buy and some prices on others have gone up. They also keep changing staff.

Renovation looks great! Very clean, and organized. Friendly staff and good prices. My go-to grocery store.

Not really that impressed. Selection on a lot of goods is either limited or just not there. Need produce, dont bother. Best deals are on the limited selection of canned goods, some bakery items.

Good place got here way early was allowed to park which there was plenty of, checked in half hour before appointment and was given a door then which soon as my trailer hit the dock it was locked in and plate put in. Not even ten minutes later their unloading it at a steady pace. At this rate Ill be done in an hour or less!

Isles are a little confusing since they are always rearranging store but employees are always nice and help you find what you need very nice clean store

Always find almost everything I need. Great prices. If I go in and spend 100 I get way more than I do if I visit a regular grocery store.

This store has it all and at very good prices, when compared to many grocery stores! I made a comparison between Aldi and the Commissary and Ive literally cut my grocery bill in half. This is no joke at all.

Shopped Aldi on Germany and now in Colonial Heights. Love Aldi. One thing I really like about Aldi products. You can read the ingredients on the label. Aldis food are pretty good for you. Selection is outstanding. Love going in Thursdays to see what is new on there specialised section. I wish it had the dairy items from Denmark. They were the best, but for what they have....I come here 2 times a week. Best and fastest workers you will find at Aldi....they put all others to shame.

We always stop in for many must have deals at Aldi. You cant beat their Dairy prices and Orange juice prices. Produce selection was better at this location than others in the area. Took away a star for lack of checkout lines open for use. Covid protocols were good and clean register area.

I just love Aldis! Not only do they carry the basics at great prices, but they also have a huge selection of harder to find items. We can always find something for everyone!

I lived on Germany 30 years from 1986-2016. I got turned on to Aldi there. I have been a loyal shopper since 1986.Aldi is a staple store. It has what you need- maybe not what you want. There biggest selling point to me however is there proprietary brands.Aldis in house products are superior to other stores. I actually only miss two things I use to get in Germany. Potato dumpling mix (Kartoffel Knödel) and Müsli in the big bad. They have it in a box here that is expensive and doesnt taste original like in Germany.This all said- Aldi is the best! I just wish there was more locations in my area.

Love Aldis! However, staff are not friendly which makes me rethink about shopping at the one in Colonial Heights. Its mostly the staff that are restocking items. They dont acknowledge your presence and are often just rude. I havent experienced this with the cashiers. They have been pleasant.

I absolutely love this store. The health option is always the best not to mention that they have good prices, unlike other organic stores where the same produce becomes a rip off.This is my go-to store for fresh vegetables

Had to ask them to move 7 pallets out the way to get to 1 pallet I was delivering at their place. Well they didnt like it even though I paid! Left pallets leaning not even pushed all the way back such a holes!

Great prices with solid selections. I have my favorites, so its always worth the trip💯✅ I came for the half sour pickles, which I cannot find anywhere else... They were out of stock, but Ill be back!!! Bring your own shopping bags and a quarter for the shopping cart. You get the quarter back when you return the cart.

Make sure you bring a quarter for a basket. Also bring your own bags. The store is clean and free of clutter. Nice selection on meats and vegetables. Great prices. The Winking Owl Moscato is great for a $3 bottle of wine. I love this place! Cashiers are friendly and the people are helpful.

I love Aldis in Colonial Heighrs, VA. Awesome prices on almost everything on the store,even cheaper than walmart. Aldis has great & cheaper prices on produce, breads,meats,ect. Very clean grocery store. Very friendly and polite employees. Ill definitely be going back.

Im trying, but its hit or miss for me. Ever changing mix of stuff and Im more of a routine person with well planned menus and such. I like the consistent quality of produce from other stores and a consistent collection of products. Well try again another day, but tonight was a long line at the register with sparse employees to help out.

Yes, it is small as a critical reviewer noted. Thats one reason I like it! Its simple and I can get what I need quickly. Although they sometimes have only one cashier, the employees monitor the lines and open another cash register quickly. Checkout is always quick and efficient.

This is,a nice store. Clean and well stocked. Today we walked down an isle where a young man was stocking and he said hi to us. Made us feel good. The cashier was polite and efficient. Parking is easy peasy.

I am NOT giving Aldi one star. I AM giving the one star to the Instacart shopper named Jamaal W who stole my entire order.Hopefully someone who works at this store will see this and can identify the Instacart thief before he strikes again.

Always has great prices. I like that they bring everything out on pallets for you to shop from. It keeps costs down. The quarter carts also keep costs down because they do not have to replace them all the time because they are stolen or left all over the parking lot to be hit. They have a great selection and all their associates are friendly.

This is one unorganized place I really expected better. Hate that you have to pay for the cart the bags and since Im handicapped theres no motorized carts. I will not be going back

Great prices and selection for its size, including Meats, Dairy, Bakery items and fresh Produce. The store is maybe 70% off-brands, many are surprisingly good but some are hit and miss. My first trip I was expecting dollar store quality but was massively surprised by how good the store is, good service too with 3-4 staff for a small storefront.

I love this store! The produce is great! Their food is always fresh and the prices are the best in town. I love that they carry lots of healthy options. Just be prepared to bag your own groceries in your own bags (you can buy bags there if needed).

The meats are fresh and the prices beat anyother store I have ever grocery shopped in. Make sure to bring your own bag, but with the savings it will be worth it. Also in order to get a shopping cart you stick a quarter in the slot and when its return so is you quarter! That means there is never any shopping carts in the parking lot to hit your vehicle!

It took me some time to acclimate to the way things are done and to be able to try products I was unfamiliar with. I am so glad I did. If you watch for specials or go for organic dairy, eggs or beef this place is really a good bargain. Also a good selection of European foods, which is hard to find elsewhere.

Aldis is usually my quick stop when Im otw home from work. Some of the staff are friendly an some arnt. What I like most about this store is the prices on food. Pretty reasonable compared to other stores

I really like this grocery store, especially the low costs. I buy the yogurt and their version of the ice drinks. Be prepared to bring your own bags though, as well as bagging your own items...plus a quarter to rent a cart, but you get it back at the end.

This is the most affordable, clean and easy grocery store in town. Their cereals have less sugar and no synthetic dyes, so my kid doesnt get as hyper when she eats them, basics cost less there and every week or so there are new special-purchase items at good prices that often save me a trip elsewhere. Bring a quarter to unlock your cart, and if you dont feel like buying bags or helping yourself to free cardboard boxes, I find a laundry basket makes an Aldi grocery run nice and easy.

The products are great and the store is decently sized but I gave it four stars cause the employees look stressed out..... there is never enough people working on the busiest times/days. I prefer the Chester Aldis location but will go to the CH location if I need something quick.

Love love love Aldis. Their produce is so awesome with a great variety of what you need. The prices are reasonable. And I can feed my family of 6 a month for half of what I spend at other grocery stores. Everyone is always so polite and helpful.
