I bought a Subaru from out of state that wasnt set up for front license display. I needed no appointment to come in and get a mount and they installed it in just a few minutes no charge. I was here a few weeks back for oil change and inspection and this dealer is just far and away more pleasant to work with than any I have so far. They are very friendly and helpful and seem to enjoy answering questions about my car.
If I can leave a zero-star review, I could. I dropped my car to fix a power seat that stopped going up and down. The mechanics recommended replacing the entire unit that houses the motors even though the diagnosis was that the up and down motor was broken. The cost of replacing the entire unit would cost almost $1000. When I inquired why the entire unit had to be replaced instead of replacing just the broken motor, I was told that its just what they do and no further explanation was given. I felt that recommended repair was not justified so I decided to take my car else-where. When we went to pick up the car, we were charged a $177 diagnostic fee that was never disclosed to me at the appointment. It is such bad practice to quote exceedingly high repairs without sufficient justification and charges the customer a hefty diagnosis fee when they decide not to get it repaired. This information needs to be disclosed up front at the appointment. This is such a rip off, I would never take my car to Heuberger Subaru to repair again.
Rachel at Heuberger Subaru was a superstar today! She helped walk me through fully optimizing my 2020 forester! I was overwhelmed with all the new settings and didn’t know how to utilize all the awesome features. With her help and knowledge I now feel so confident in my car and love this baby 10x more than I did! I highly recommend this Subaru with their outstanding service!
Im not normally one to leave a bad review, but I came in with a low tire pressure issue. The dealership told me that I ran over multiple nails and would need two new tires for $450. I decided to call around for better prices and went to the local Discount Tire. Turns out, one of the tires wasnt even punctured and they were able to patch the other... FOR FREE. Apparently this Subaru either doesnt hire techs with a focus on tires, or they just wanted to charge me for something they didnt need to. Huge disappointment.
My wife and I purchased a new, build to order vehicle at Heuberger Subaru. Yesterday we picked up the vehicle and we are so happy. The experience has been one of the best and easiest vehicle purchases we have ever had. The communication and follow up to each phone call or email message was outstanding. My birthday weekend has been ruined, thanks to Subaru. I have two children and no car at the moment, because this terrible company isn’t willing to go make things right, after their technicians botched an engine replacement. I brought my Subaru to Heuberger Motors in order to change the engine. Mind you, the vehicle had about 101,200 miles on it, so it shouldn’t have needed one in the first place, but we all know things happen. They did a warranty replacement, but still charged me for the rental, because my vehicle was 1200 miles over the warranty limit. Fine, whatever, I paid it. What I didn’t expect is being stranded in the mountains this past weekend, because the brand new engine blew! I had no temp or any other types of warnings on the dash, but I heard a weird sound, so pulled over. There was smoke coming out from under my hood immediately after stopping. The dealer in the town I had the car towed to advised the engine had to be replaced again. They didn’t have available rentals, and Subaru corporate has been dragging their feet. Additionally, I tried to reach Heuberger all morning the other day, without any callbacks. I needed them to send the prior service order to the new dealer. Finally, at 4:20pm, someone called, but I let it go to voice mail, because I had already had corporate send the paperwork. They send me a text saying they couldn’t reach me because my mail box was full. Except the only missed call I have from them was the one I didn’t answer.Take your car somewhere else to get fixed! I find it ironic that Subaru’s automated system says they build lifelong relationships with customers through their dealers. This dealership is terrible.
We just purchased a Subaru from Heuberger and everyone that we worked with was professional and friendly. I was very impressed with the interactions we had, especially with Bill and Jason. They made the process easy and also enjoyable. It was easily the best car buying experience I have had. I would 100% recommend this dealership!
Absolutely the BEST customer service of any dealership I’ve experienced in my 33 years of owning a vehicle. Cole and Brian were kind, efficient, and transparent. The whole service process was explained to us in detail to include the reality of the wait time for our 60k mile service. Did not try to sell us unneeded services. From the beginning of my first visit to look for a new car my experience was scary at first because I didnt know what to expect as far as selection, prices and being pushed into something I couldnt afford, but meeting Alison made me feel at ease right away!!! She walked me through by asking all the right questions and was so knowledgeable about the process and the building of the Impreza that I bought and she was with me every step of the way! Came in for a last minute oil change before a trip across the country. My goodness... everyone was amazing. From the very nice women behind the coffee counter letting me raid the cold water fridge on a hot day, to Ryan and Ali taking the extra time out of their day to make sure my car was it tip top shape.They went above and beyond even with knowing that I will not be back because of the move. Heuberger does not sell a street legal Outback Turbo. Missing Front Plate bracket. Love the car but they say there are mounting Dimples We dont put on Brackets when we sell in Co as Nm does not require front plate.well I got my plates and they say Buy from Amazon...Really. wish I got plates sooner to give the plates and Car back in 30 days. Love the car but not the service.This should be easy for them to resolve Subaru Sells but Heuberger does not support a Street legal Turbo... So much for buying top of line and Top of Service at this place.I expect this post will resolve.

My spouse and I needed a vehicle after looking at a few dealerships and some test drives we came to Heuberger, where I had gotten a used vehicle in 2013. After discussing what we needed and what bells and whistles we wanted and what price I wanted to be at we decided on a Subaru Forrester. With what extra we wanted we ended up waiting a week for a vehicle that was in transit for the options and color, then our sales guy Bill Nelson called we came in and did paperwork and drove it home. Great customer service, the show room was super clean, with the snow some one was mopping kid you not every 5mins. With it being end of the month and a Friday we spent most time waiting for finance but that has been the norm every time we had purchased a vehicle, all told we where door to door just under four hours, which sounds like a long time but was half of the time spent at other dealers in the past.
Friendly and helpful staff. The salespeople listened to what I wanted and gave me realistic options to help me find the car I wanted. My family has gone here for years and the service is always top notch!

We came from Loveland to check out the Subarus here since there seems to be a shortage problem of them in Northern Colorado. We were greeted right when we walked in and meet a salesman within five minutes. Comfortable environment, no stress,great customer service, and the guest waiting area was awesome! The coffee bar was something weve never experienced before in any of the dealerships up north.
Joey was great. Very knowledgeable about the vehicles in inventory and worked to find the outback that I wanted. Only real complaint is that it took forever (4hrs) once we were done with the test drive to move through all the paperwork of trading in a vehicle and financing the new outback, might need a few more financial people on staff or on shift for a Friday afternoon.

Purchased a brand new 2021 WRX STi and the process was fast and clean.if you’re ordering a new car and it’s still in transit, you will have to put a deposit down to reserve the vehicle.while you’re waiting for the vehicle to ship and arrive, they’ll have you fill out forms and applications electronically ahead of time so that all you have to do is go through some legal stuff and pick up your car when it arrives.pretty slow on answering my questions. had to be real assertive with my calling. had to call a few times to get an answer for one question. that’s the only negative thing in my experience.very happy with the process in the end. thanks guys.
They are great to work with specifically their General Manager, John Adams. I’ve had my car looked after by them for 3 years now and have never had the problem not be solved the first time. I really appreciate the care and quality they put into their work.
Went in on a thursday. Walked the lot twice, walked through the store, not a single person said hello. I am in car sales, if someone who doesn’t work there comes within 15 feet of you, you say hello, have you been helped already. Then, I submitted my credit app around 1pm. I was working, showed up at 8:22pm hoping to just sign and take my new car. No. They hadn’t even submitted anything. The next night I come back at 730, and don’t leave until after 9pm. I bout a used STI, spent well over 40 thousand dollars, didn’t get a full tank of gas, and there were still stickers on my car. Abby in finance was great, Brandon the manager was nice and Andrew my salesman was a nice enough guy. When I brought up the issue of not being greeted, Brandon simply said we don’t have cars to sell and I can only yell so much. Wrong, you have used vehicles to sell and can order new vehicles. Very disappointed in the #1 Subaru dealer in the world. I will not be doing business here again, I’ll drive up to Denver for the customer service I deserve.If it weren’t for the fact that I wanted THIS EXACT CAR, I would not have done business here.

Super cool service department!!I have an older Subaru that burns some oil so I stopped in to see if I could get topped off at the dealership. I was greeted by such a friendly service advisor named Stephanie (sorry if Im spelling names wrong here) who was right on the case. I was there for literally less than 10 minutes yet still met so many great people while I was there. Stephanie, Brian, Han, and Jogen (or the service tech with the sick piercings)- topping off someones oil may have not seemed like a lot to you, but it totally made my day. I also want you to know that I noticed your service drive was full and I didnt even have an appointment. I realized that I may have been the inconvenient customer that threw a wrench in your schedule, but despite that you guys chose to show kindness and amazing customer service which Im truly impressed by.Thank you for the experience. Excited to do business with you again when my wife and I are back in the Springs.

UPDATED POST:Original rating of 1 star changed to 4 stars once I got in touch with service management.Once getting in touch with Subaru, their service management team went to great lengths to review their prior service of my vehicle, acknowledged opportunities they had missed to evaluate the car for oil leaks, and did everything they could to help me out. A particular thank you to Bernhard, the service manager, who spent a lot of time and energy making sure I was taken care of.DETAILS (edited with updates from original post)While on a weekend trip to Colorado Springs, 2014 Subaru Crosstrek 105k miles showing code for slow cam response, Heuberger suggested replacing oil control valve. They made the repair and I left with my car. Took my car into a local mechanic for a separate issue a week later and the local mechanic mentioned that the oil and coolant levels were dangerously low, and they could see a head gasket leak. Heuberger normally checks for oil/fluid leaks as part of their routine service, but the report of the service performed showed Heuberger had not performed the check when my car was serviced.When I got in touch with Heuberger Subaru service management, they did an internal review and acknowledged they had missed the standard oil leak check. I appreciated their responsiveness and transparency. They also helped me tremendously in navigating the additional repairs being done to my car at the second independent mechanic, which I thought was above and beyond what they needed to do.
Very positive experience. Jim Adams handled the sale efficiently and conscientiously, thoroughly reviewing and highlighting the several ownership manuals and coming to the vehicle with me to explain the cars buttons and controls. He even guided me out of the parking lot to make sure I got on my way safely. What more could you ask? Everything was ready for us when we got there, the paperwork was spot-on, everyone was friendly and helpful, the deal I got was great -- the whole thing was just super. This is the fifth Subaru I have owned, but it will not be the last one I will buy from Heuberger.
We went to buy one car, and ended up buying two. Nick Smith worked with us, he was not pushy and he was so easy to talk to. We came close to closing time and Nick didn’t seemed annoyed about looking and driving multiple cars. They have such great products and deals we felt like we walked away with two great deals. They allowed us to put money down to think about our purchase so that we didn’t feel rushed before having to buy-but after sleeping on it we felt so lucky to have found these cars and of course closed the deal. This is the third car we’ve bought from this dealership and we are very pleased. Thank you!!
I went to go look at a Subaru that was just traded in and I was test driving the car and fell in love with it I definitely stated even prior to test driving the car that I wanted to purchase the car. While I was test driving it someone was already writing a check for it. That’s fine and all but I felt like that was super dirty of them to do. Very unethical. I feel and still feel like since I was looking at the car first they could have called the guy with me first to see if I was going to buy the car, instead they called letting him know the car was sold. Dirrrttyyy! I also kinda felt discriminated against bcuz I didn’t “look ready.” I should have known for the jump once the guy I spoke to first was already dealing with someone else and took forever to have someone else help me just to look at the car. But it’s all good! You better look ready and be prepared to buy a car ASAP without test driving or even looking at it! This dealership is unethical. Period. Never ever again. I found a way better deal with the same car only 1k miles more in Denver.
My purchasing experience was okay but my service experience was extraordinary. They drove 2 hours to Westcliffe to pick up the car. Brian, the service adviser, couldnt have been nicer or more helpful.
I bought a new Subaru Forrester from Heuberger motors in Colorado even though I live in Albuquerque New Mexico. My purchase experience was excellent from start to finish. My sales guy Joey skipped all the BS and quoted me a great price from the start, which I accepted. The signing process went very smoothly and the vehicle got delivered to my doorstep within days. Even with the delivery charge I saved money by using them vs a local dealer. Plus they had a much larger selection. I would definitely use them for future purchases.

I have purchased two vehicles from this location and have been pleased both times. The sales representatives were professional and not pushy. They were both knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. Both vehicles were in fantastic shape;The extra services they offer are excellent. I got the lifetime oil change and windshield repair package and would highly recommend it to a new buyer.In 2017, my Subaru Forrester had a critical issue with the engine burning oil and the entire engine block had to be replaced. (This was common for this year Subaru Forrester. No fault on Heuberger). Heuberger sent someone to my house to pick up my car and gave me a loaner car for three days while it was worked on. They dropped the car back off at my house when it was fixed.This company is very professional and responsive with customers. I feel very comfortable to recommend this location to a new Subaru buyer.

Recently purchased a new car here and was thoroughly disappointed in the customer service and financing process. It was difficult to get clear information from the sales team from start to finish-- waited months for the car to arrive and as the arrival date approached didnt feel I had accurate information to prepare for picking it up. Was there on a Thursday night to get it (there was hardly anyone in there) and had to wait almost three hours when all was said and done. Staff didnt look busy, so this created frustration on my part because I had left early from work to get down there at a reasonable time, and my sales person didnt prep me that it could take that long. There were staff people sitting around which made me even more frustrated. Then the finance team tried to say I qualified a loan rate way higher than I had been told by my sales team (which I had in writing), so I was getting the run around. And finally, I was not aware of a new accessories package that they had available before purchase of the vehicle, so didnt have all the necessary information to make a decision on that, missing out on that opportunity. I had purchased a used car there about three years ago and had a great experience, so this was really disappointing.

Information was not always provided when promised and I had to make multiple follow-ups.Paperwork was not shipped with the vehicle, so I had the car for 5 days before I could legally drive it.Their prices are good, but the remote buying experience has room for improvement.
Ive never owned a car before, so I was very anxious about the entire process. John Watt was incredibly helpful, though, and made the experience so much easier than I thought it could be. I really appreciate his patience and his friendliness throughout the process, and would definitely recommend him, and Heuberger Subaru overall!
Had an appointment for service. since it was an appointment i expected to drop the car relatively quickly. instead i was at least 12 cars deep in a que to get in for service. 30+ min of waiting.
My experience of buying a new Subaru Crosstrek at Heuberger Subaru was stellar! Ryan really listened to what I wanted and made sure I had the opportunity to see what was available. I appreciated his low-key and honest sales approach. Everyone in the showroom was friendly and helpful. The coffee bar helped keep us awake during the time it took to get all the paperwork completed. It was a great experience and I love my new car!!
Had the best experience with this car dealer. My wife and I were shopping around for a vehicle and after many disappointing experience, lack of commitment, and no communication with other dealers (Dodge and CarMax specifically). From the second I walked into Heuberger Subaru it was a different experience.Our sales representative Bryan Younts was instrumental towards this experience. He listened to what we wanted, answered our questions, and was an actual sales man for our needs. He didnt try and give us things that we didnt want or need in our vehicle. If anyone is shopping around for a new vehicle I highly recommend at least stopping by this dealer and if possible see Bryan Younts.
Professional, courteous, efficient, personable. Every request I made was handled quickly. I had no concerns. I asked for video documentation & I was sent a link to a youtube video clip that same afternoon. Great teamwork.

My salesman, Jason, was awesome. He wasnt pushy like a typical salesperson. He gave me all the information I needed to make my decision and answered all my questions very thoroughly and made sure I knew everything I needed to know!The finance manager, Abigail, was awesome as well. She was not pushy either; she just presented all the information and explained it very thoroughly and let you make your decision from there. She was awesome!

Just a few things to about my experience... I can NOT say enough about how awesome Antonio was. I was meeting with 5 different salesmans and sales ladies and Antonio takes the absolute cake. He listened to me, he made himself available after I left but he did not hound me or call me non stop. I literally had to block another sales guy, he just would not stop. Antonio let me make my decision in peace after he gave me all the fun facts on the car, he was very knowledgeable on the vehicle and technology within. I even drove two separate vehicles and he knew so much about the pros and cons in the two. The day of purchase it was an absolute joy hanging out with him even though it took awhile, I hardly even noticed I was enjoying his company so much. For me, he was a large part of the reason I bought the Subaru and I just really enjoyed him. I wanted you all to know you have a great employee and he deserve the recognition.

Came in for a recall repair and the Service Associate was super friendly and professional. They have a complimentary, better than Starbucks, coffee bar while you wait, or theyll shuttle you or provide a rental when needed. I dont use them for regular maintenance or repairs, because like with most dealerships, they are quite expensive, but thats expected. Overall my three experiences there have been quite positive. Havent purchased a car from them yet, but theres one in the show room that may be calling my name!

I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience I had with buying my new Subaru Forester Limited at Heuberger Motors! My salesman, Brian, was great to work with and took all the time we needed to make a good decision, without any of the overbearing pressure of some dealerships! The financing went smoothly and we were able to get a great deal with no pressure to purchase anything that we weren’t satisfied with. Heuberger Motors was great to work with, and I would recommend them to anyone! And I am just blown away by this Subaru Forester I just bought!
Our salesman, Nick was great to work with. He answered all of our questions and after the purchase, sat with us in the car to go over everything until we felt comfortable. We would definitely recommend Nick to others. Also, Buzz, who handled the money matters was great. He explained everything to us as we went along and really made us feel comfortable.
Shayna,in sales told us not to come they had nothing to drive and we would not go home with a vehicle. She acted like she was to good to talk to me even when I told her that we looking at the crosstrec and ascent. She acted like she didn’t care and was passing the buck to someone else. Because of her lack of sales experience and telling me that there was no crosstrec to test drive and no ascent to look at. My mother in law went to Pueblo Subaru and bought a new Ascent and Crosstrec and they lost about 80,000.00 in sales I really don’t even want to give them 1 star.

Had a great experience buying my new Subaru from Heuberger in Colorado Springs. We live in Grand Junction which is 300 miles away. A friend here recommended them and we were not disappointed. Did the selection over the internet and then communicated with Ivan. Everything went super smoothly. We picked up the car a little over s week ago. We were in and out in little more than an hour after we gave them our check. Scott and Ivan were awesome. Cannot wait to recommend Heuberger to friends, relatives and even enemies!!!
