Just like the name says..... We all know a good mechanic is hard to find, a trustworthy one is practically impossible to find. I cannot tell you how many people I know that have gone to this mechanic and every single one of them expected to pay more than they did. Availability of course is limited but typically if you utilize their drop off service they will get to your car sooner rather than later. Would highly recommend!

I used to drive tow truck. I cant tell you the number of people that have talked excellent about this shop. They are always professional anytime and every time I have ever talked to them. I will use them myself when time in need comes. Thank you all for your dedication to your jobs.

He said my car was good to go and my boyfriend drove it a few blocks to a convenience store. When he tried to restart it and it wouldnt start. Called the mechanic and he said wed have to get it towed back there. D- on customer service. Disappointed.

My husband is a mechanic so of course he doesnt want to come home and work on our vehicles for the bigger stuff! AGM had amazing reviews and we just moved to Fountain, we had to wait a bit when scheduling to come in for a general look over to see what all needed to be done but its worth the wait (even though we knew the big problem). They didnt find anything extra my husband hadnt already found/the problem we brought it in for or try to inflate what needed to be done (and that was on an ancient 97 4Runner with close to 282k miles on her). Very reasonable price on the work that needed to be done and a decent estimate on the other future work I asked about. I stopped by to get something out of the vehicle as they would have it a few days and Jessie pulled it in to the shop and put it up on the lift to show me everything they found and the work they were going to do. If my in-laws didnt have a mechanic of 20 years I would absolutely send them here (Ill be recommending them from now on when someone asks for a mechanic)! We do a lot of our own work on the vehicles when we have the time, but this shop will ABSOLUTELY be our go-to for our 3 vehicles!

I had went to a dealership for an oil change and they said I needed four new rotors as well as breaks and said it would be $700 for the work. I decided to get a second opinion at A Good Mechanic since it was close to my work and turns out I only needed the front done and it costed much less than the dealership. They were very informative and efficient. Will definitely take my car there again! 10/10 recommend

Jessy was very honest. First was quoted around $500 for the job but it only needed a couple parts tightened and cleaned and we were charged much less!! We highly recommend this place for its honesty and quality of work.

These guys had already done a great job with my wife’s Cadillac, so I took it to them to find the problem, once they put it on the rack they found it in less than 5 minutes. Roger and his sons are great. Ive been taking my cars there since he first opened his doors. Excellent service and 100% honesty.I wanted to make a cross country drive and told Roger to check everything out and ensure everything was 100% good to go and not to bother calling me unless the bill would exceed $1,000.They thoroughly inspected my vehicle and when I went to pick it up I was only charged $48. Everything was perfect and all the fluids and everything including spark plugs were in awesome shape and Roger assured me I would have no issues on the trip.He was right. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. A Good Mechanic + An Honest Mechanic Thats Roger.

Very impressed with the service and how honest this shop was on what needed repaired. We needed front end work after hitting a curb. They gave us a fair quote on what they thought needed repaired and did not try to upsale me with a list of parts or extra services. When the cost got close to my insurance deductible they were able to work with my insurance company to upgrade the repairs to replacement parts vs fixing the damaged parts. They do charge a percentage when running a debit or credit card but its in line with what a credit possessor would charge them to process the card. The stores that I help support sometimes do this to pass the savings on to the customer.

Went there because u thought my truck was riding funny, and a weird noise. They gladly went on a drive with me me to listen and feel, when we got back to the shop they check other items I had concerns with. Didn’t charge me a dime for this! Great guy seem very knowledgeable. I will definitely start going to them as my regular!

Excellent mechanics, they have FIXED all of our trucks and the prices are FAIR. They check in during the work process with updates and asking about repairs before proceeding. The most thorough and knowledgeable mechanics we have ever known, and we will continue to be long term customers and refer our family and friends as well.

I brought my vehicle to them early last summer and they did a very good and honest job. My car is in need of some more work now. And I wouldnt bring it anywhere else. I had taken my car to get tires on at discount tire and they totally stripped some of my lugs trying to get them off and then told me they couldn’t do anything and that I needed to go somewhere else so basically screwed me, I took it to AGM and they are THE BEST they where able to drill out about 10 of my lugs that discount tire striped and replaced all the lugs and 10 of the studs, way more affordable then anywhere else I had gotten a quote from and got it done in less then 24 hours and they mount and balanced my tires for me as well, honestly one of the best, easy and fair experiences I’ve ever had at a mechanic shop! And let’s just say discount tire won’t be getting the same review

If honesty and integrity is important to you this is a place to go! Rodger very honestly told me that he could rig it up for me and it could get me by but its not something he would like to do, he told me he can find me a new part and if I would like he could try to research and see if he could find a used part. Hes much more interested in getting me safely onto the road then he is in raping my wallet. Regardless of the outcome of this vehicle I will be using this shop again!

The owner and son do great work together with whatever other mechanics they got on site. They were finally able to bleed my clutch hydrolic system when no other mechanic could. They help me with little things, that perhaps take more then a few minutes and don’t even charge me?!? Their knowledgeable. Unfortunately if you don’t call ahead you might find yourself waiting awhile, or days. They can be very busy at times. Which is always a good sign. Keep up the good work

I must have driven past this place a hundred times and not even noticed. But when my car started overheating I limped it down just before closing time. The problem was diagnosed, parts were ordered, and everything was fixed in less than a day. They even walked me through the potential future issues just for clarity. The bill was reasonable and the service was friendly.

Not sure about their services but when my car broke down these men pushed me to the shop while I waited for my tow truck. That alone is a reason to get 5 stars from me. I was already waiting for a tow they just happened to see me stuck on the side of the road. They didnt have to do that but they did. So thank you to the staff here.

This is the best mechanic shop I have ever visited. My 2008 Buick Lucerne as making a piping sound coming from the front so I took my car in and made an opt 2 days later. Jessie and Mr. Roger diagnosed the issue and showed me where the sound as coming from. As a woman I have a little knowledge about cars but they treated me with respect and pointed out all the other issues I was having with my car. They gave me honest quote and I am very satisfied with the work they did on my car. If you are looking for A Good Machnic..lol (pun intended) they are your guys.

Did excellent work on my vehicle. Very affordable pricing.

Had a hose blow and had them replace it. No problem there and I had previously had a minor leak coming from the radiator. Wanted them to take a look. They said it was the water pump and would need to replace it. I had just replaced the water pump and timing belt about 2 years prior. After replacing everything I had a total of $1450 invested. Soon found that my a/c was not working and the radiator minor leak was still there. I found that my a/c didnt blow cold air anymore. I never had problems with my a/c and knew they had taken it off to replace the water pump so returned and had them refill it. After refill still no good. There was now a leak in the a/c system and AGM told me that it was low when I came in. I dont believe so as I had been using for the past year without any problems. As for the radiator leak I ended up reversing the hose on the reservoir and the minor leak went away. How stupid am I. Well not so foolish to return to the AGM shop. I took it to my shop I have been using for years. They may be a little more expensive, but at least they do the job right. The people at AGM are really nice, but I dont feel like I received the best automotive service.
