I brought my wedding dress to Heidi last year for a fitting and some alterations. When I was looking for my dress I kept envisioning a dress with buttons down the back. When I found THE dress I loved it but it didn’t have my dream buttons. I was new to the world of wedding dresses and didn’t realize that buttons could always be added by the right seamstress. My sister found The Button, the Needle and the Wardrobe for me and we brought my beautiful dress into Heidi. Right from the start she was the sweetest and was incredibly professional inside of crazy COVID times. After a quick turnaround (for a wedding dress) Heidi made all of my button dreams come true plus she made my dress fit like a glove and made me feel like a goddess. I’m so grateful that she was a part of my most special day because she made my dress so special. I will be back and will continue to tell all of my friends about TBTNTW. This is my third attempt at doing this review. The last two disappeared before I could send them. So, let’s hope that the third time is a charm! I don’t know how many times I’ve had Steve embroider baby blankets for me in the last 2-3 years, but today I picked up 8. I sew the blankets, Steve embroiders the names on them for me. He’s gotten to know my style so well that I bring in the blankets, with a typed list of names and the age of the babies or young children. He knows what fonts I like, the color of thread that would go best with the blankets, and the prints on the blankets. We have a nice visit. He lets me know that he’ll text me when the blankets are ready, I go on my way to run some errands, he starts his magic, and we get back together again in another week or so.In the front of the shop his wife Heidi and her coworkers are busy doing alterations on wedding dresses, prom dresses, and every day clothes. This is a one-stop-shop for all your alteration and embroidery services. When you enter the shop, everyone is busy but yet very friendly. I’m glad I found this shop, and I will not look anywhere else for these needs. They are right off of Academy Blvd. and Flintridge, give them a call and they can always work you in.I’m attaching pictures of some blankets Steve has embroidered for me. He has never disappointed me with the work he does on my blankets. Is pure magic! My husband and I love to go in there and visit with him, it’s like visiting with a friend we’ve had forever. He never rushes us or makes us feel like just another person coming in to give him business. He talks to us about everything and anything, about our families, and then we get to business about the blankets. I brought Heidi a dress I had purchased off-the-rack to wear as a bridesmaid in my sisters wedding. As a wheelchair user, finding clothes that fit well in a seated position is always a challenge. I hadnt considered having any alterations done besides a simple hem, but Heidi was quick to jump in with tips to customize the dress and make it fit as well as possible. I really cant say enough good things about how professional and fantastic the entire experience was! I now have a completely custom gown, measured to fit perfectly when worn in a wheelchair - no bunching, no extra fabric, AND its comfortable! In addition, after finishing the major alterations, Heidi even made a few last minute adjustments to the length on-site during my fitting appointment just to be sure every detail was perfect. Im so happy I found this shop, and Im looking forward to continue supporting Heidi and her team and they excellent work they do. If youre looking for any alterations - major or minor - look no further! This is the place to go!

I have used Heidi several times to alter evening dresses. Her customer service is first class and she is a talented and professional seamstress.I wouldnt trust anybody else with alterations - she recently altered my Mother of the Bride outfit, and even though I gave her short notice, she moved a mountain to accommodate me and complete everything on time. I’m so incredibly happy I found this place! I came in to embroider a few handmade stockings, but will be going to this place for all alterations and sewing needs in the future. The moment you walk in you’re greeted by an incredibly knowledgeable and talented team that makes you feel welcomed and takes an interest in your projects. As far as the quality of work I can’t praise Steven enough. He’s incredibly patient and makes sure the design and thread color is perfect before he proceeds. I was astonished at how quickly he could turn around a project and my mom even drove down from Denver to use their services after seeing his work. I had a very special embroidery ribbon designed and made for the inside hem of a bridal gown--a tradition began by my mother nearly 40 years ago. Steve worked with much detail to obtain the correct layout, font, design, and thread colors to produce a perfect heirloom piece which will eventually be framed after the wedding! Heidi also perfected the edges of this piece, in order to attach lace around the ribbon. Overall, it is perfect and just what we wanted, and the bride was so surprised at her recent shower! Charming and welcoming business. Heidi and her team are wonderful. I had a leather jacket that was abit too big on me. Heidi took some measurements, we discussed how much I wanted it taken in around the waist. She did a fantastic job. I had originally gone to a *different* alterations place (I will leave unnamed) to alter my wedding dress. This other seamstress took my dress in 2 inches too tight, completely butchered the hem, and decided to add buttons to the back. This was 2 months before my wedding day and I thought I would have to buy a new dress. LUCKILY, a friend referred me to Button, Needle and the Wardrobe! Even though her schedule was packed, she fit an appointment in for me. They got it back to me in time for the wedding and it was perfect! The waist was taken out, lace laid back down, they fixed the buttons, straps and hem perfectly! I could not be more grateful! Heidi and her wonderful team are the nicest, most professional group I’ve worked with and their attention to detail is unmatched.Heidi, thank you so much! I needed a stole embroidered for my graduation ceremony and they were patient and helped me get the perfect design. The process was smooth and they were efficient with getting my stole embroidered. Absolutely fantastic. I had two suits that I had taken to another tailor and when I picked them up they were very poorly done. I took them to The Button, The Needle and the Wardrobe for help and they did an amazing job of repairing the work and making them as good as new. Amazing staff and passionate about their craft. Heidi did an amazing job on my wedding dress! With the lace being so intricate I was worried but everything turned out perfectly and the bustle was beautiful. She was even flexible with my pick up date and squeezed me in early!

I’ve gone to this shop a couple times to have some very simple work done, and at a glance I’m not what their usual clientele would appear to be. While brides-to-be were having wedding dresses fitted, I just went in to have some patches sewn on a vest. Their customer service is by far the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere. We found the Button the Needle and the Wardrobe while trying to find somewhere local that could alter a leather coat for my husband. We are beyond thrilled that Heidi not only could, but did it so fantastically that no one would ever be able to tell it has been altered. It looks amazing, and fits my husband so perfectly that it looks like it was made just for him. I bought my beautiful wedding dress up in Denver but finding a seamstress for alterations was daunting. After lots of research I found the Button, the Needle and the Wardrobe. Heidi and her team are amazing. I, like many brides, was shocked at the cost of alteration quotes I was getting from seamstresses I called but Heidi walked me through every inch of my dress over the phone for FREE, gave me a good estimate of costs, and she didn’t rush me to book with her. I feel like she truly understands what a bride needs and works with the bride to create a masterpiece. My alterations are perfect and she created a one of a kind bustle so the front of my dress and the back of my dress compliment each other when its dancing time! So often bustles are ugly and show the underside of the dress or bunch at the brides butt, not the case with Heidi. She designed the perfect bustle for me so I look elegant all day long. I will NEVER go to any other seamstress for alterations. She’s worth every penny you spend.

I called this company on a whim hoping to get a dress I bought online slightly altered so that I could wear it that same week for a date. At first, the gentleman that answered the phone stated that he didnt think it would be possible for the ladies who completed the alterations to get it done before the day I needed my dress due to an influx of prom dress alterations. The owner of the shop, however, stated that she would be able to squeeze me in, and encouraged me to bring in my dress after I described to her what I wanted/ needed. I took the dress in immediately and they called me THAT SAME DAY to let me know my dress what ready for pick up! The ladies did a fantastic job, and you would NEVER KNOW that my dress had to be altered. I will 100% be using them again!Clean shop, professional ladies, and great work!

I have some tunics i love that belonged to my mom; however, they are dated with flounces on the sides. Heidi altered them so that they look great, and I can wear them for many years to come! She did a fantastic job; her stitching and way she hemmed and trimmed each tunic is superb. Her location is super cute, too -- like a French dress shop with ample changing rooms and jewelry for sale. Shes very professional and you can tell that she loves what she does. Im excited to use her services in the future and highly recommend her.

I bought a $200 wedding dress off of Etsy. It was nice. But, it was way too large for me. I took it Heidi for alteration. It now fits me like a glove. She also suggested some beautiful lace on the edging which turned out lovely. And, she made an ivory belt to match. I am so very happy with my dress. It is perfect. She is also altering my MOH dress. I highly recommend this business. And, I will not go anywhere else.

I have never been more disappointed, and I will never recommend your business again. My daughter had you measure her for her custom wedding dress being made in England, and your measurements were so off that it took three times your original estimate to make the necessary alterations. So unprofessional. Then you didnt even have the wrinkles steamed out when we picked it up!!! I used to work at Veras Bridal Shop and Alterations, and we never would have allowed a dress to go out the door wrinkled and not ready for the bride to wear. Unforgivable.

I took a suit and a few other items here to be tailored and it was a genuinely amazing experience. Heidi is professional and does spectacular work. I have only tried one other tailor in the area; they were significantly cheaper and it showed in their work. This is the place to go if you value quality results. I have known the owners of The Button, The Needle & The Wardrobe for over a decade and have always been impressed with the quality of their work and the thoughtful and most caring way they treat their customers. My friend used Heidis (the owner) alteration services for her daughters wedding gown and was very please. So when it came time for me to get married, I did not even consider going anywhere else. I was married once before and, given my age, wanted something quite different from the average white wedding dress. Heidi designed a forest green floor-length dress for me, complete with lace overlay and three strands of lilies embroidered along the side of the dress. The dress is absolutely stunning and I am excited to wear it for my wedding in two weeks. After two years of wedding planning and two rescheduled weddings due to COVID, it feels like Heidi at the Button, the Needle & the Wardrobe is a family friend. Heidi altered/tailored all our groomsmen’s suits, my mom’s mother of the bride dress, my father’s suit, one of my bridesmaid’s dresses, my now husband’s suit, AND my wedding dress for my May 2021 wedding. Less than a month before the wedding, I had a change of heart and purchased a new wedding dress online, I called the Button, the Needle, & the Wardrobe in a panic knowing it would need alterations with an incredibly quick turnaround time. Despite it being busy season with weddings and proms, Heidi fit me in and was able to alter the dress within two weeks. Heidi has an incredible attention to detail and ensured that everything fit perfectly (for my whole family and wedding party) for the big day. A few months ago I came into the Button the Needle and the Wardrobe, with an idea for a custom denim jacket with very specific design ideas. Heidi and Steve did amazing and quality work, I love the jacket that they helped me create. It was a pleasure working with them on the project, they go above and beyond for their customers. I purchased a sample wedding dress from Something New Boutique for my upcoming wedding. I was looking for alterations and Heidi came highly recommended. The dress was beautiful but needed the broken zipper replaced and to be taken out a bit. I reached out to her and made an appointment. She requested that I send photos of me in my dress to her first so she could give me an estimate.After I sent the photos she sent me an email asking for me to call her. This is where she told me that I was too big for my dress and should either sell it and get something else or see if Something New would take the dress back. I asked if she could just take the zipper off and replace it with a corset back. She stated this would not fix the issue and trying to get a whole new dress 4 months before my wedding was the best option. She cancelled my in face appointment at this time.I was devastated and began reaching out to other seamstresses if this was truly my only option. 4 other seamstress shops agreed that Heidis consultation seemed not only unprofessional but incorrect. My fiancee was angry about how I was treated and decided to call Heidi himself, to which she denied everything and told him he could talk to her coworkers as her witnesses. No apology, no explanation, nothing.I took my dress to one of the other four seamstresses that disagreed with the opinion and she has done an amazing job. The dress fits perfectly and has a new corset back which looks beautiful. The exact request that Heidi stated would not fix the issue. Not sure if Heidi is unskilled or is just opposed to working on plus size clothes but I would never recommend her to anyone, ever.

I trusted Heidi and her team to alter my wedding gown. The salon I purchased from recommended this shop as the only person I would trust to take apart a gown and put it back together.I thought my dress came in very well fitted, but now it fits like a glove! Its absolutely perfect. Im so impressed with the integrity of the alterations. You cant tell that the dress has even been touched.I was especially concerned about the train, since the skirt is crepe. Heidi came up with a 5-point design for the back that evenly distributes the trains weight and is gorgeous when bundled!Im so so so excited to wear my gown this June!Im also getting a bridesmaid dress for another wedding altered here and Im excited to see the results. I had a great experience with Heidi at The Button, the Needle, and the Wardrobe! I had one dress I hadnt been able to wear because it was too long in the torso for me, and another that gaped open at the wrap neckline so it couldnt be trusted to not have a wardrobe malfunction. Heidi was able to deconstruct the first dress and sew it so it fit me perfectly, and she fixed the other dresss problem with the neckline. Heidi was very friendly, professional, completed everything in a timely manner, and the cost of the alterations was very reasonable. Im so happy I can wear both dresses now, and I will definitely be returning to Heidi when I need more alterations done!

I found Heidi on “next door” and am so happy I did! Had A very difficult sewing job to be done and found Heidi and darned if she didn’t do it! I don’t think anybody else in the city could have done not all me what she did, but the beautiful work she put into it. Trust me this is a wonderful shop! Another interesting thing, she told me the job would take about three weeks. And that’s exactly what it took! How refreshing!

They were truly wonderful to work with and know their stuff. I bought my dress online so it was a bit too big, but they managed to adjust it perfectly. Heidi also recommended adding this belt to my dress which gave it exactly the pop it needed.

Heidi and her talented team at The Button, The Needle and The Wardrobe did such a fantastic job on my wedding gown. I needed it taken in, hemmed and bustled, and my gown had lots of layers of very delicate materials, like tulle. Heidi re-worked the gown so it sat on my body perfectly and where it flattered me best. I was particularly worried about the bustle, as I had seen some bustles on tulle skirts that I did not like at all. But Heidi was able to design a bustle that looked elegant and not poofy. And, on top of that, she sewed matching buttons and button loops into the skirt for the bustle so it looks natural.The whole staff is so kind and helpful. They know their stuff and they make it their mission to make certain every person who comes to them feels good and looks good in their clothes.Top-quality work. They made an already beautiful gown even more gorgeous. I am getting married in less than a month and I absolutely cant wait. I know Im going to feel that much more beautiful because Heidi and her team helped give me the wedding gown of my dreams.

I came to Heidi with a crisis. Id taken a risk and purchased a wedding dress online, and I had 72 hours to figure out if it could be altered to fit me or if I needed to return it. She got me in quickly and gave me the good news that I could keep it! She did amazing work on my dress, including a 9 point bustle that blended seamlessly into the back of the dress when I needed my train out of the way. I highly recommend her work!

Heidi saved my wedding dress!!! I got this beautiful 1920 style dress at a bridal boutique in Denver and took it to roxannas alterations, there was a huge language barrier but since she did a great job on my friends dress I trusted her. When I came back the cups didn’t fit (which I was kind of skeptical the first time around but I’m not a seamstress so I didn’t want to fuzz) so roxanna let me take off my dress put in different cups and send me on my way (without letting me try again). A friend recommended Heidi, I haven’t tried my dress since I picked it up at roxannas alterations, when I tried it on in Heidis shop I was close to tears by all the messed up stuff that was going on. I didn’t even want my dress anymore. Heidi kept reassuring me that everything would be fixed even grabbed one of her associates to figure out game plans to get everything back in order! Today picked up my dress and it was perfect! I was close to tears again but this time out of joy I could see myself walking down the isle in it! I am so grateful I have found Heidi they did an amazing job fixing all then previous mistakes and I am beyond relieved that I can wear the dress I fell In love with!!!

They take care of you no matter what the issue. They repaired a very important hat for a dying Vietnam veteran. They squeezed me into their schedule and I was able to give it to him the same day. I know it gave him pleasure for his final days.

I needed to a have new wool/cashmere coat altered. My intent was to shorten the sleeves, but they were also able to shorten the coat. I was amazed at how well my coat fit and looks perfect on me. I’m very petite and finding beautiful coats to fit me is extremely difficult. I am definitely going to bring all my alterations to this shop. The staff is friendly, professional & does exceptional tailoring.

Heidi was amazing to work with for my wedding dress alterations! She was very professional and fun. I was worried about getting my dress altered since it had some very intricate detailing, but every detail was perfectly preserved with the alterations. She even custom made a veil for me and perfectly matched the color of the tulle to my dress! All was reasonably priced as well for what I needed to have done. Would definitely recommend Heidi to any brides looking to get any kind of alterations done on their gowns!

Steven is an incredible embroidery artist. Im a graphic designer and I do a lot of logo designs for my clients. He gave me some great insight into what works well for embroidery which is such a huge help for my business! I went to him to embroider my logo onto a winter coat. Not only was it done quickly, but it turned out amazing and the price was awesome. I will definitely be going back!

I brought them a utility kilt that didnt fit (largely because I bought it online and had no idea how to measure for a kilt). Not only did they alter it to fit, but they were able to add pieces of my family tartan in the pleats and on the pockets, making it a truly custom piece that I am having trouble removing from my person. (Even to wash it!!)Then when I went to pick it up, I brought a few of my wifes skirts that needed mending. They fixed them while I waited! Who does that?!!Fantastic people! Wonderful service! Epic Craftsmanship!

I needed some tricky alterations done on a pair of motorcycle racing pants. The modifications involved a fair amount of reconstruction of the garment. My expectations were exceeded. The results were perfect. I highly recommend The Button.

Heidi was wonderful to work with! I brought in my Hayley Paige dress and wanted to have it fitted, add a belt and create a bustle to a rather complicated handkerchief style ball gown dress. Heidi suggested an applique she had in the store which turned out to be a perfect addition to the dress! She did a beautiful job – the dress fit like a glove, the belt and applique look wonderful and her bustle was gorgeous and matched the handkerchief style of the dress. Brought my maid of honor dress to Heidi to alter. The underarms were uncomfortable so she improvised and lined the underarms with silk so it was comfortable and unnoticeable. I take sewing lessons at BN&W on Saturdays. I moved here less than a year ago and found Heidi. I immediately found ‘community’ while learning the basics and couldn’t be more grateful. The guidance through the mysteries of sewing garments that fit well has been thorough. I look forward to my Saturday classes. I needed the sleeves shortened in a heavy weight dress leather coat and there was a snap on the sleeves that went thru the lining. I was told what they intended to do before they started and they did a superb job on the alteration. Very friendly and very competent. I will go there again.

Steve and Heidi are top notch at their profession. Steve provided the artistic advice I needed to deign and create a very special set of wedding towels and table runner. Heidi also provided valuable insight to my projects’ color scheme. Their customer service during these difficult public health restrictions was above reproach. The end result of the service I requested was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! I Brought in a golf flag from the golf course I recently got my first ever hole-in-one to have custom embroidery completed. From start to finish, I was treated like a personal friend and felt completely taken care of. Steven was patient with my desires and design changes with prompt responses and additional suggestions or ideas. Additionally, he was genuinely excited at the opportunity to be a part of my experience with commemorating such a rare event as a hole-in-one.

Heidi and her team did a wonderful job with alterations on my adventure elopement dress. She understood how to hem to the perfect length for hiking, while still being floor length, and I had no trouble walking on the trail. Heidi also had the genius idea to change out my hiking shoe laces with lace ribbon. They looked so cute and added a nice bridal touch. I will definitely be going back for any future sewing or alteration needs!

My experience here was so amazing. I had gone to a different seamstress first for my wedding dress. They ended up being awful and didnt alter my dress well at all. I went to Heidi and she was so wonderful. She fixed everything for me and paid attention to every little detail. I brought my dress in pretty close to my wedding but they were able to finish my wedding dress just a few days before my wedding! It fit PERFECTLY. This review covers my experience working with Heidi and her staff on my Star Trek Monster Maroon uniform/costume project. This was a very challenging project, which is why Im glad I was able to find Heidi and her team. I had been researching this project for about a year before I actually started looking for a good all-in-one professional service. I had her do a few alterations to my military uniforms, then we started collaborating on the Monster Maroon.This was her second time doing this, so she had experience and suggestions for how to ensure the final product turned out the way it did. The other important thing to keep in mind was that this project took the better part of a year to complete due to both of our busy schedules and the need to order materials. While the entire project took only 7-8 appointments/fittings, each one was about a month apart. The heavy summer wedding season also meant waiting a little longer, but I was never in a rush to complete this. The Monster Maroon is not easy and you should definitely be prepared for a lengthy process of fitting and re-fitting to ensure a proper tailored look in the end.Heidi was a professional through the whole thing. She is very detail-focused and will frequently offer advice on options during the process to ensure a complete understanding of what the choices will lead to in the end. This is a very important quality when making something from raw materials rather than an alteration. The rest of the staff were also very excited to have the opportunity to work on a project like this again. Rebecca in particular was excited because shes a Star Trek fan, which made the experience even more fun.I would absolutely recommend the Button, the Needle, and the Wardrobe for all your custom sewing, embroidery, alterations and fashion design needs!

Extremely Profesional business, and even more so with their accommodations. I was on a tight time line in order to have a item fabricated and ready for an upcoming event and even though I left them with half the time they needed to complete the item they still chose to accept the challenge and Im sure they worked over time to keep their word as they finished 1 day early to ensure we had the item for the event!!!!

I am new to town and was looking for a place to have my wedding dress altered. I stumbled across this shop, and I am so incredibly impressed. Heidi was so kind when I called about my dress, and very helpful. When I went to try on the dress to show her what needed changing, she had everything ready for me, and helped me achieve the look of the dress that I was hoping for. She even helped me find a belt to make my dress that much more special. The alterations were very well done, completed in plenty of time and were very affordable. When I picked up the dress, she helped me put on my veil to make sure it would work with the dress length, and helped me with ideas of what to wear for the reception with my dress bustled. She even helped us take photos for my mother how could not be there. I have a wonderful experience! She was very knowledgeable, skilled and helpful. I will definitely be bringing more pieces for alterations.

Always timely and professional. My upcoming wedding required tailoring men’s suits to include a military mess dress and 2 suits for groomsmen. Heidi and team tailored all 3 suits efficiently and with precision. My mess dress fits much better around the legs and waistband and maintained the uniform requirements. The suits fit my groomsmen better than store-bought and worn suits with an additional need to lengthen the arms which was well-designed and sewn and no trace of the change made from the inside. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the alterations at Heidi’s shop. You pay for the service, professionalism and experience and it is worth it if you want to look sharp in your clothing.

When I bought my dream wedding dress with delicate lace and a long train, I had no idea how much diligence and talent it would need in the altering process (as it was the only one left, 4 sizes too big- so I was swimming in this dress)!I trusted Heidis professional opinion right away and was absolutely impressed by her and her teams effort to make it fit. I brought my daughter here for a sewing class. I am extremely disappointed that not a single person was wearing a mask in this establishment. As a business owner I dont know why you would be willing to take that risk. After the class I emailed Heidi about my concern. I received an email a couple of days later from her saying she would call me to discuss. I have not received a phone call. Our circumstances at home dictate that we be very cautious, and this situation was unacceptable.Update - after reading the response from the owner... there were certainly more than 4 ppl in the business. 4 in the class, sure. But a lot more ppl in the store. And I find it interesting that you consulted with everyone in the class about the need to not wear masks, as we were part of the class and this was never brought to our attention.

The entire process was easy--I couldnt be happier. After an underwhelming experience at Davids Bridal with a bridesmaids dress, I took my wedding dress here. It turned out beautiful, and Heidi made it fun to come in for this! In fact, I then took a second dress in, and am about to schedule an appointment for a third. One of the best in the Springs.Also, in case youre going in for bridal/bridesmaid/prom, etc. Heidi has amazing jewelry for this at an absolute steal.

I found Hiedi when she was running her business out of her home store. My daughter needed a dress fitted for a high school dance. She was quick and so ‘on point ‘. It was perfect! I have since been back to her at her new store front to have some massive alterations done to my flight attendant uniforms. She made miracles happen as they are not pretty to begin with. She actually made me feel professional in them even thou they generally look slumpy. Lol. Now, The Button, The Needle and The Wardrobe is the only place I prefer to go. Thru Covid I have lost some weight and now need to take all my uniforms back to her again. Haha See you soon BNW!

Heidi and her team are the best tailors and seamstresses in Colorado Springs. Actually, Heidi is probably the best with whom I’ve ever worked! She altered my fiancée’s suit and accessory pieces, my wedding dress, and two other dresses. All of the pieces fit perfectly! My wedding dress was quite complex, too, with intricate, open lace and multiple adjustments to be made. She truly made the dress feel like my own!

I brought in a challenging bridesmaids dress that I had to order online without being able to try on a sample. I was warned that there was little that could be done just based on the way the dress was made, but that they would try their best. The alterations were absolutely perfect and I feel so much better in the dress! The women who work here were sweet and helpful and friendly. Heidi was not professional at all. While I was getting fitted she was telling me that I need to buy a belt for my dress and when I told her I liked it plain she was very judgmental and basically told me it didn’t look good with the way I was wearing it. Then when she told me the price, I told her that unfortunately it was too far out of my price range (more than double what I paid for the dress) and that I was really sorry for wasting her time but that I had to look elsewhere. She told me that my dress was going to “look like a train wreck” by not having her do it and that if I wanted the dress to not fit or look good, a “cheap place” will be great for me. She also told me several times that there was no way that I was going to get my dress back in time if I used anyone besides her, even though my event is more than a month out. It was really humiliating to have a business owner tell me that I’m going to look ugly on my wedding day because I cannot afford her prices. Horrible experience and I would not suggest giving her your business as she will find someway to state her negative opinions of you and how you are planning your event/outfit. The advertisement of “we’ll pamper you and your dress” was a joke. I was there for 20 minutes and was told I’m poor and my dress and myself will look ugly on my wedding day. Poor excuse for a business owner and a human being.

This is a hidden gem! I am incredibly impressed with Heidi and her team. She came highly recommended to me by fiancé, at the time. VERY precise, cooperative, professional and efficient. During COVID challenges, Heidi made time for my fittings when my wedding dress was delayed in production. Not only did she make sure to make the timing of my fittings prior to our wedding day but she also designed and made my veil which I didn’t even have time to shop for during this challenging time. It is worth the money to have your items tailored here. My dresses, pants, and anything I take to her fit me so much better than how I purchase at a store. I think I spent more on the alterations for one item than the item I purchased at a discount clothing shop however, I wear it more often now that it fits me. When you want quality service, this is the place you should visit.

I was in the market for having a leather jacket tailored. I decided to go with Heidi after reading many of the positive reviews. I even read some of the negative reviews to get a whole picture of peoples experiences here. Well, based off of my experience I just dont see how Heidis business has any negative reviews. I believe some people may just have standards that are incapable of being met.Heidi not only masterfully tailored my leather jacket for a better fit but she also repaired a pocket on the jacket that was not discovered to have hole in it until after I had picked it up from her. The repair was done the next day and for free! Customer service here is top notch. This is a straight forward business and Heidi is as honest as they come. You should feel confident in going here for any alterations as she and her team are experts at what they do. Spend your money with confidence here and support the local business. I know I will be using Heidi for my future tailoring needs.

Was really impressed with the embroidery work Steve did for me. I had very little ideas about font or colors but Steve patiently walked me through some suggestions and I could tell immediately that he understood what I was looking for. The final product was excellent! I am thrilled with how it looks and also was pleased with the speed he completed it.
