Theyve got a wide variety of felts and fabrics to make your own quilt! They also have tons of sewing machines incase you dont have one of your own to make a quilt. They can also help pick out the perfect string or backing to your quilt. Another thing they have is a class you can take on quilting!

High Country Quilts was a fun store to visit. The staff were very welcoming and they had a big selection or fabrics and some great kits to make. We found multiple projects that we wanted to purchase and make.The store also sells Brenina sewing machines and has classrooms located in the store.

Great selection of quilting fabric, isacord thread and Bernina machines. I have bought two machines through this store working with Karen and it has been a great experience each time. She took a lot of time to walk through all of my questions and really knows what shes talking about. I guess thats why they have been a Bernina excellence dealer for four years! Her husband repairs machines here and he is very knowledgeable and helpful!

GREAT service, fantastic selection of fabrics, and a good selection of classes to take. Despite the pandemic, I was impressed at how nice the staff are and how welcoming they were to me. As a queer woman I felt safe and welcome here. Happy to have a new quilting shop to call home for all my fiber needs.

From the first time I walked in here just over 4 years ago, I have been welcomed and valued. The counter ladies are lovely and the owners (Jean and Karen) are super nice. I have taken two quilting Block of the Month classes and they are always willing to answer any questions and slow down and explain the techniques in a different way if needed. The fabric selection is great and very high quality. Sometimes they can get busy and it can be a bit of a wait to get questions asked or fabric cut, but they are always gracious, professional, and willing to answer even the most neophyte of questions (of which I have had many).Some quilt shops I have walked into and immediately felt out of place. HCQ has always been welcoming and patient and well stocked.

I visited the store 10 minutes before they closed and the gal who worked there was extremely rude and short with me. Customer service is key to keeping a business in operation. Whether a customer spends $5 or $100, every customer should be treated with respect.

This place is a hidden treasure. I was treated so kindly by the ladies there upon arriving. Their selection of fabrics were beautiful and great quality. They were so helpful and even followed up my first visit with an email. This is my new favorite place for fabrics!

Wonderful selection of wide fabric! Found the perfect backing fabric for my daughters quilt and I wont need a seam because its wide enough!!!! Helpful and friendly staff too!!

This shop has everything a quilter would ever want or need. The fabric choice is out standing. I would have given 5 stars but they do not carry any native American patterned fabric. My sister makes Native American Star Quilts and this would be a one stop shop.

A very warm and friendly material store to visit. This was my first time visiting and the staff were very knowledgeable. I was looking for certain grey materials to create a three d tumbling block quilt, so many patterns and plain material to choose from,. Would definitely visit there again

My dedicated quilter wife tells me that they have a great selection and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They also have a large classroom for quilting classes. They also seem to do a lot of charity work for the community.

This shop is heaven to someone like me who loves sewing beautiful quilts. I give a solid five stars to High Country Quilts for their friendly & helpful sales staff and for the quality and huge variety of quilt fabrics they carry. I dont live near this store, buts its worth the drive.

I was excited about visiting this quilt shop with my daughter while visiting her this week. It is a large shop with lots to offer. However, when we walked in and didn’t even get a hello and after looking around the store and even standing at the counter waiting to get help did not get acknowledgement, we decided to go to another shop. I was very disappointed and will not recommend this shop to anyone and my daughter will be shopping elsewhere. I have never been in a quilt shop that did not have good customer service.

Not a place I enjoy going to. Ive had 2 interactions with High Country Quilts. A long arm quilt class I had registered for was cancelled. When no specific date could be given for the next class, getting a refund resulted in several calls and it took awhile for the refund to appear on my account. Most recently, my Bernina sewing machine needed serviced. I called to find out what to do. I explained that I wanted it serviced and the button holer needed repaired. The person I talked to said to bring it in on Tuesday, neglecting to tell me before noon. I missed that week, brought my machine home. I took it back this morning, to be sure to have it there by Tuesdays pick up. I had to explain about the button holer again. Apparently I needed to bring in the button holer presser foot too. Its not like I have nothing better to do then run back and forth between Colorado Spring and Monument. Dont know if Bernina is worth this, nor High Country Quilt.
