Dan has some of the best lump charcoal in the market, and all the smoking chips, chunks and logs you’ll ever need. He carries John Henry rubs among many others. In other words, if you grill or smoke food, he has everything you’ll need. Great owner, too. Even gives cooking classes!

My husband went here and absolutely loved the stuff in here. There is really good spice rubs and wet sauce mixes. The owner is knowledgeable and I look forward to going with him the next time.

Dan was awesome. I’m so happy there is a place in this town for us people with a love of homemade BBQ that we can call home. I truly feel like I could’ve walked out with nothing and Dan would’ve been just as ok with my. I mean I didn’t. I purchased a new pellet smoker to replace my pit boss that died on Thanksgiving. Great store. Great owner. Great advice. Great selection. My wife is going crazy because I won’t stop talking about it.

Owner was super knowledgeable about everything in his store. At no time did I feel coerced or forced into purchasing something. He just told me pros and cons of each pellet grill and ended up setting me up with exactly what I wanted. He answered every question I had. I really enjoy being able to sample different seasonings that’s carried and it’s awesome seeing local CO brands be carried rather just big name brands. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a pellet grill, supplies or getting knowledge from an expert on BBQ.

Excellent little shop for your BBQ accessories needs. Staff was very friendly, answered all my questions and even had a suggestion for where to get some repair work done on my BBQ. Easy to find and parking was adequate. Selection was large and pricing was reasonable.

Owner is very knowledgeable about pellet grills. Great variety of spices, woods, and accessories. Also offers grilling classes, cant wait to take a class. Ill definitely be back.

These guys Daren and Dan hooked me up with some nice size hickory chunk, John Henry’s Honey Rib Rub and a bottle of The Shed sweet and tangy sauce for the table. Thanks guys. Staff is always friendly.. They are more than willing to give advice and help on a moments notice. Although I have not attended their classes their knowledge is above and beyond. If your having issues with your BBQ go see these guys and get advice. They will never steer you in the wrong direction.

Came in on a Saturday. The store smelled great! Like smoke. Needed a rub and thermometer. The rub selection was fantastic, but the proprietor gave me great suggestions. Would have liked a bit more selection in thermometers and gloves, but products to get the job done were available.Overall, service, location were surperb, and I left not wanting or needing anything.

Dan is a great guy with a great shop, and the ONLY source for brown/pink butcher paper in the entire city of Colorado Springs. He has great prices (better than Amazon...) and he is always extremely friendly and helpful. By far the best BBQ supply shop in town!!!

I am glad I went here before going to look at smokers at the big box store. They were very knowledgeable about specific brands and models, which I am sure is not true about the big box stores. Thanks to CBO, I got a smoker Im happy with, and expertise I feel confident in.

Took the BBQ class and learned a lot of helpful info. Dan & Daren were very informative and fun to listen to for 2 hours. The dinner afterwards was great and we utilized the 10% off after class to get some new runs and accessories.

I cant keep hubs out! Lol. The best bbq sauce Ive had for awhile! Oh, hubs picked up a spice blend called the good sh*t. Ahhhmazing! He loves to bbq so he loves this store!
