I found the grill of my dreams and answered all my questions and showed me all available features. I ended with a grill that will last me a lifetime. Couldnt be happier. Supremely impressed with their representatives. Its nice working with people who know their product so well.

I would give this business an One Star for customer service, and a TWO star review because they sell good meat and accessories. I recently purchased a Yoder 640 Pellet Smoker from this business. They do an intial burn in to make sure it is working properly. I picked up the smoker, and the first time I turned it on, it proceeded to 680 degrees when set to 250! Then back and forth, up and down, could not settle in. I returned the smoker to the dealer, and they were able, after several burns, to get it to stay relatively close to 350. So......I picked it up again. When I turned it on, it danced around the 350 temp, then suddenly just died. No power, nothing. Went back to the dealer, the owner gave me a fuse to try. I changed out the fuse, it fired back up, then locked up at 335 degrees and would not shut off. I had to unplug it. When I tried to take it back to the dealer, the owner informed me I was on my own and had to deal with Yoder Customer Service. Well, that it NOT good customer service, as they do NOT stand behind their product. If you read the fine print on their invoice, smokers are NOT returnable! BE CAREFUL buying anything from this dealer!!!!!!

Outstanding service! My husband bought me a pellet smoker for Christmas. (got it a little early, as he couldnt hide it from me.) They were great with answering all my questions. They are incredibly knowledgable. We were able to sample some ribs that they had just smoked (outstanding) while they burned in the grill for me. We had a small problem with the grill when we got it home (a fluke) and Dion came out to the house to take a look and was able to correct the problem quickly. I am so happy with my pellet smoker grill and the service that we have received.

We went into the store on Black Friday looking to buy a smoker. We talked to Cody and he was simply amazing!!!!! So excited about his craft and teaching us about it too. There was no high pressure selling at all. He went through a variety of options with us. We had to run to another appointment but we are heading back this week to buy a smoker! And the service doesn’t stop at the sell. They follow up with you, offer classes and you can call or stop by anytime and get advice on grilling and smoking. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOP SMALL/LOCAL BUSINESSES!!!!!! The customer service absolutely cannot be beat!!!

I logged in today to provide an update, now that Ive owned my new Yoder for awhile and it seems I never did an initial one, so hes both my initial and post review after doing business here for the past 8+ months. The team is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share. They are really well humored and even put up with my banter constructively. While we might no all agree when it comes to some finer techniques as these can be very personal, the conversations are well received and a mutual discussion can be had. Ive visited just for recommendations or to even discuss how best to prepare different meats on my newly acquired Yoder. Its amazing how supportive these guys are and willing to share knowledge and genuine expertise. Theyll even take the time to have a conversation over the phone. Cant believe it took me so many years to find these guys, previously Id told you there wasnt a great place to go in town! They carry a large range of accessories for everything they sell, and its tough not to buy more than I need in this Grilling/BBQ Paradise ... Thanks for everything!

Saw this store this past Sunday while getting a breakfast burrito Across the lot and decided to pop in. Gentleman (forgot his name sorry) that was working was very knowledgeable on products in the store and others that weren’t sold here. Received some price quotes but as a good millennial I left and googled prices across town and manufactures websites and found that their prices are on par with others.Although they arent the closest Location to my residence I decided my money will be well spent with a local/veteran owned business. So today I called in spoke with a gentleman in reference to a GMG pellet smoker and great news 1 left in stock.....but someone at the store physically was looking at it. I told him I’d call close to closing time to check availability and a woman answered and advised me it was still there. She was very nice and had all the answers to the questioned I posed. Needless to say, made a purchase and hopefully I can pick up very soon. Only down side was the grill cover and godkey attachment was not currently in stock but did order it and we’ll see how long that takes and I’ll update accordingly.Overall very satisfied with this establishment so far and look forward to doing more and more business with them in the future.Thank you all!!!(sorry bad with names ;))

Hands down the BEST grill store in town. Their inventory and prices beat anyone elses in town and out of town to include DENVER. (and trust me, weve been all over Colorado searching for the right grill.) They sell the best of the best brands of grills at reasonable prices. They have a great stock of pellets, and good inventory on all other products so you have choices! The owner is one of the best guys weve ever met. Hes real and will give you his honest opinion. Hes very knowledgeable on all of his products and brands that he sells in his store. He also hires people who are knowledge. These employees arent just ones that come off the street not knowing anything... The owner will also do his best to order whatever grill or product you are looking for. He does make you aware of the estimated time frame but keep in mind its an ESTIMATED date, not a solid date. Most of the grills are made to order. BE PATIENT. Its worth it. He also gives you instructions on how to use your grill, (if youve never used one.) Never been disappointment, and always look forward to buying our grill products here.

Awesome place to go if ya need bbq stuff. I smoke all year long and they always greet ya with a smile and always stocked with sticks for your stick burners. They have tons of pellets there also. I’ll gladly support local small business vs box stores now that I found this place!

I ordered a grill and was told 4-6 week build time. 8 weeks later still no grill and was told it was going to be ready this week now they say another couple weeks. So now they say I was told 8-12 weeks when I ordered it which is a lie. They choose to keep my deposit hostage when I could’ve went to Denver and picked up the same grill months ago and not had to wait all summer. I recommend shopping else where.

I stopped in to pick up some pellets for our Yoder. Phillip and Kevin were very helpful in recommending what kind of pellets to use for different kinds of meat. I purchased 10 bags of pellets and got an extra bag free. The staff very kindly loaded the bags in my pickup for me. I also purchased a cold smoker attachment for cheese. We have really been enjoying that.

Yesterday morning I wandered in about 10:15 with intent to place an order. My Hasty Bake of 30 years has grown a little tired and I knew exactly what I’d planned to order.I waved to a gentleman on the phone. After waiting several minutes to be acknowledged, I left. If you had simply said ‘hello’ I would have happily waited for your call to end.My money spends elsewhere.

I had a great experience with Kevin, Monty and Phillip. I purchased the Yoder 640 competition grill. Got a complete run through at the store, and then they delivered. I have an elevated deck. These guys brought the smoker in, laughed about the deck and went on with things.Kevin also taught me how to cook hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken while he was here. It was great.

I have had an incredibly positive experience with the Colorado Springs Grill Store. Not only do they sell high quality equipment, such as the Yoder YS640S that I purchased, they offer an unparalleled level of customer service and support. I have worked with Mike (Owner), DeEon (Manager), and Cody, and all three of them have offered me priceless tips and tutoring on how to raise my barbecue game. Also, even though I live 1.5 hours away, Mike hand delivered my Yoder to my house. Mike also recommended Don Godke’s downdraft, an aftermarket part that extends the circulation time of smoke in the chamber, resulting in enhanced flavor and decreased pellet consumption. When it arrived at the store, he and DeEon drove out here and installed it themselves. Also, Cody has called me multiple times since my purchase to check up on me and see if I need any help.I am so grateful to Mike, DeEon, and Cody for all of their coaching and support as I advance on my quest to become a legit barbecue chef. I feel that when I purchased my grill from the Colorado Springs Grill store, I got so much more than just a high quality piece of equipment—I forged a relationship with three super knowledgeable and very generous guys who have been here to make sure that I get the most out of my purchase. I can’t say enough good things about this place. As a NEWB in the BBQ world as I just picked up my first smoker, this place has everything you will need to get a good start or continue to cook professional competition grade bbq. I went in to pick up some rub and a couple grilling accessories and came out with what I needed and a little bit more. Cody was working the morning I went in and he was very polite and kind. He asked what we were smoking and helped point me in the direction of his favorite rub to use on brisket. I ended up walking out with a better rub than I had originally picked out and man it was great tasting. Cody also offered some advice on my brisket smoking, which I was more than happy to listen to as I am new to smoking and we all know brisket can be ruined if not done properly. I recommend this store to any one who is passionate about throwing down some seriously good tasting bbq all the way to the guy cooking some burgers on his grill for his family. Wonderful customer service and you can feel the passion the employees, especially Cody has for his job and bbq in general which leads to great advice and customer service. Will be returning next weekend for some more products!

I buy my apple chunks from here. Don’t need to shop around. If you want to learn how to barbecue and smoke these guys know there stuff. Don’t hesitate to ask them any questions.

Not a fan of this shop. When I called to see if they sold brown butcher paper (they dont) I was told that brown butcher paper is actually no different than foil for wrapping meat, and essentially a gimmick. The owner definitely seems to be a bit of a know it all. Im also not sure how foil could be the same as paper, considering rendered fat saturates butcher paper and foil traps all liquid. The butcher paper also breathes better than foil and doesnt trap all the steam (note: I use foil on ribs and butts all the time, I just prefer butcher paper for my briskets). Ive also asked if they have other products in stock and the owner will tell me they dont carry that product but he can order it for me...Not sure why I would ever take him up on that offer, considering I can order anything I need and have it shipped directly to my house. I wont be back.

I get all my BBQ needs from the Colorado Grill store. I have purchased the ys640 and the Yoder Wichita loaded. Kevin, Chris and Nate are awesome. I will definitely be back to purchase another smoker for my BBQ trailer. Keep up the good work.

Great store with new location. Bought my Yoder YS640 here and couldn’t be happier. Kevin and Deon are both really helpful and have taken my smoking/bbq to the next level. They’ve always been responsive to questions and requests, the meat they carry now is a great addition. Glad to have a great bbq store “local” to Colorado Springs in my neighborhood carrying solid bbq products.

Just had our Yoder delivered. The owner proceeded to complain about how far out we live and then insulted my wife when she asked questions. I dont expect to be insulted when I just spent that much on a smoker.

These guys are Smoker Experts and more. I researched smokers online literally for months and settled on the Yoder. I went to this store to look at the Yoder and to purchase an offset. Initially looking at a Wichita Loaded (offset), they offered to and did fire one up for me to look at and then they offered to compare it to the YS640 pellet smoker which they also fired up. After much discussion over two days and multiple visits to the store, I finally decided on the YS640 pellet. They were incredibly helpful and genuinely concerned that I get what I felt would be best for me. Never mind that I walked in ready to buy the Witchita - which was more expensive, this was an education process that resulted in a change and a purchase.Fast forward - I have called several times since I bought my YS640 just for advice on smoking. Today, I called this morning about cooking temps and rubs. Its Labor Day, I have 10 guests coming and wanted my ribs to be perfect. Kevin took the time to walk me through some tips and they were spot on---10 racks cooked to perfection. I LOVE this smoker, Thanks you to these two gentleman who were not interested in a high pressure let me sell you a smoker. They are focused on building a relationship - and its all about whats best for my smoking experiences.In a nutshell: Exceptional service from exceptional staff selling high quality American made products, providing quality service standing by their claims of service. These guys rock!

Was driving by one day and noticed the store. Told my wife I wanted to stop by one weekend and look around. Went in and met with Kevin. They were smoking two pork butts on their Yoder pellet grill. He told me all about the grill. I compared it to the Traeger pellet grill. In my opinion I believe that the Yoder grill is better built and sturdier. This is my first time to have a pellet grill and I love the Mesquite pellets. ( reminds me of home ) I like the down home style service from Kevin and staff. Really like the Chupacabre seasoning!!! Go see Kevin and the crew and stop procrastinating. Get a YODER!!!!
