My family was assisted by the manager Erin. She was wonderful to speak with and gave us great information about the flute, the rental policies and also made recommendations for music tutors. Best of all, she included our daughter in the conversation and made her feel more confident in starting the learning process of an instrument. Very welcoming environment - I recommend using this location for your music needs.

Went in to pick up a few things for my guitar that I forgot to pack before traveling up here to Colorado. Mark was absolutely amazing, very helpful for getting me squared away while offering some very appreciated knowledge about the area and some insight for my travels. Really felt right at home!!

They have people do a survey in exchange for a 25% coupon and never give it to you. I have passed on competitors sales on the item I have in mind waiting for this promised coupon. I call and they tell me it’s coming but won’t give the discount. It’s been two months and no one knows anything. They asked me for a valuable, to them, commodity (my info, preferences, buying habits, etc) in exchange for a 25% off a single item (better than any competition). Now they are MIA and no one there can help you. I will never consider buying from them and you shouldn’t either.

Very unwelcoming environment. The manager Erin, clearly didn’t want to be there, and she wasn’t musically knowledgeable in the slightest. I went in looking too drop $700+ on a new acoustic setup for studio sessions only. Erin’s lack of knowledge and unfriendly vibe (especially as manager) made her lose a high sale. I don’t like window shopping, so I still purchased a $120 midi so the store could make a sale. Although even during the sale Erin was so off-putting through a customer service prospective!I won’t be back there anytime soon!Poor customer service and lack of musical knowledge, I’ll say it again and again.Go somewhere else.

I ordered an alto sax online from another retailer and it arrived broken. I brought it to music & arts for repair and they fixed it quickly and quite helpfully. When I arrived to pick it up, I decided to buy a few accessories I needed, and they graciously gave me 2 of the 5 on the house for the headache of having to fix a damaged instrument. Very friendly store with a great selection, atmosphere, and customer service.

This seems like a place for kids in band but they do have some good deals on cheap guitars like epiphone/Squier. Some decent fx pedals as well. Seem like nice folks. Even gave me a mask when I forgot mine.

I called Music and Arts looking for a hard guitar case because I was traveling by plane in a couple of days and wanted it protected. However, my ovation guitar would not fit any standard case and I was on a time crunch. I had driven all over town and called every music store in Colorado Springs looking for one. To say that Erin, the store manager, was helpful is an understatement. Over the phone, she looked through her inventory and even went through old customer transactions to see if they had something that would work. When I came in person a couple hours later, she helped me try a few different cases, but nothing would fit. She spent well over 20 minutes looking online to see if there was any case that could be overnighted. She even offered to help me call the airlines to see what would fit in the overhead compartments. She suddenly remembered she had an old case lying around in the back that wasn’t part of their inventory and it turns out it was a perfect fit for my ovation!! She gave it to me free of charge, even though I insisted on paying them something. She simply said she was just happy to help. They are truly amazing over there! You will not get the same customer service and genuine care at any other music store in town! I won’t go anywhere else now. Thank you Music and Arts!! :)

Would not purchase from here....just saw the older, lazy man who works there put his cigarette out on the sidewalk and then kick it into the parking area! Lazy, trashy people...and he even saw me watch him do it...not a care in the world!

Really nice little store with many price points for guitars and other instruments. Will was a huge help. He was polite,friendly, knowledgeable. I will differently do my business here. Will took the time to answer my questions. If you need to rent an instrument for school or buy one this is your place. They also offermusic lessons and clinics. A+

Unknowledgeable in pricing. Was told deposit was required with 2 or more instruments, ok thats fine. Have been in contact with the 888 number to make payments and what not. Call to make a payment today, one is in collections. They are under 2 separate accounts, so I have only been paying on one instrument. Ask the 800 number why I had a deposit for 2 or more instruments if they are separate accounts anyway. I was informed that deposit is just based on customer. According to reviews this location loves to lie. Very displeased with my experience with music and arts. I will most definitely be checking my other options out next year. This has been a nightmare.

The employees were amazing and so helpful! I could take my time and there was no rush. The prices were competitive and I got a really good deal on my bass and the accessories. Very good store and super nice employees Will and Erin!

Will and Chris were amazingly helpful when I decided to take up the violin. I felt no pressure and their passion for music was contagious. Salesperson/Cashier Karissa is to be commended for her excellent customer service and pleasant demeanor under pressure. The store was very busy and Karissa was the only staff person working. I was impressed how she remained calm and helped each customer calmly and professionally.

We have been going here for music lessons ever since they opened. Our experiences have always been positive and our children really love working with their instructors. The employees and instructors have always been friendly, helpful, and eager to make every visit a positive one. If you are looking for a place for musical instruction, regardless of age, this is the place to come!

They do not have a repair department as it states online. They send it off to Denver. Not sure why they have to lie.

2nd Update- they refunded all the missed lessons and the lady I worked with, Erin, couldnt have been nicer. I just feel like this shouldnt have happened in the first place. I still caution readers to watch your bill closely. Document any missed lessons and if you dont do a make up lesson, make sure you get a credit.Update - after 4 months of lessons, I am not very happy with this place. The teacher seems fine but they are less than honest with their book keeping. The teacher has had to cancel several times, we had a snow day and we had to cancel once. We didnt receive any of the 5 credits due to us. I had to call and alert them to this issue. I am now waiting a resolution. However, it makes me wonder how many other people theyve done this to and how much extra money they make this way. Im very disappointed. If you take lessons here or are considering it, check your bill closely every month.I have a child taking lessons here. Its ok but nothing special. My older child took lessons at a different place and it was a much better experience. If youre looking for instruments, they have a very small selection. Mostly guitars and a few keyboards. I cant pinpoint anything wrong, its just not the friendliest place. When they didnt have the lesson book the teacher told me to get, they didnt even offer to order it or tell me where I could get it.

My recent experience with Music and Arts was not very pleasent,they came to canon city to sell books and instruments to student and teachers in band across canon city, I walk in to where I was told along with the rest of the canon schools that theyd be ready at 5:30 when I went in they were not ready and were not polite when telling me that they werent ready they were also rude when we were confused at the price if the book because I was told it would be $5 just like last year, I hope you can understand why I am not happy.
