The delivery guy/installer was excellent from start to finish. He delivered a stove for us and it wasnt easy because of the way our house is laid out. He was professional and very respectful of our property. Could not ask for more. Thanks for a great experience!
Have used this business for parts in the past. First time buying an appliance here, Excellent customer service, Hard to find these days. Robin was wonderful to deal with. could not believe in less than 24 hours my new dryer my new dryer is up and running. Install Technician was very nice. Thank you so much. I will be back for sure.
My husband and I got in a bind while hauling a horse on Sunday morning we pulled into this parking lot to to run over to Waffle House to use the bathroom and grab our food. When we arrived to the parking lot it was empty, while we were in the bathroom this man pulled their box truck right beside us and his pick up truck behind us so we couldn’t get out my husband walked over multiple times trying to find someone to tell them we were just waiting on our food and that we would be leaving but couldn’t find anyone I saw this man moving another truck around so I ran over there and told him we couldn’t fit in the Waffle House parking and that we were just using the bathroom and grabbing our food I was trying to do the polite and respectful thing. This man was so rude to me he assaulted me verbally and I felt as though he was going to physically assault me even though he didn’t but I also just apologized and walked over to get my husband so we could leave which didn’t give him the extra time to do so. Being business owners ourselves we can’t imagine treating anyone like this let alone future customers, we will NEVER take our business here and would rather spend more money elsewhere then support a business like this one.
Cliff notes... theyll take your money, promise to have your stuff ordered and ready, but then not actually have it. They mess your house up during delivery and promise to fix it, but then not respond to emails... and damages are still not fixed.Full version:I really hate leaving poor reviews, but I feel people need to hear this. So, back in the fall of 2020 (I think November) we were in the process of building our house. We had heard stories of people not being able to get appliances for new houses because of covid and things being back ordered. Well my wife and I talked to the folks at S&G and told them we were closing in Jan. Or February, and wanted to order now, to be SURE we had our appliances in time.We picked a couple items and they told us those selections were hard to come by, and they couldnt promise them to be available. We then picked some higher end models and they checked and miraculous the pricey versions were available and she said yep, Im showing them in the distribution center now, and can have them shipped here and hold them for you here until youre ready for them... that way we knew we would have them right after we closed on our house. Fast forward to January, we get a firm closing date of late. February... and I contacted the sales rep to update her, and she says, not a problem. Just let me know when youre about a week or two out to confirm closing and well set the delivery date. I contacted her again the week or two before closing, and confirmed our closing date, and set a delivery day.We closed on a Tuesday, and had delivery set for Wednesday. Tuesday evening, a gentleman calls and tells me were their first stop Wednesday morning. I said great!Heres where the trouble began....Wednesday morning, I get a call.... they have the fridge, and a washer.... but no dryer and no pedestals. And they cant install the washer now... and the pedestal later due to how they are shipped.So we only take delivery of the fridge... but in the process they GOUGE huge chucks of wood out of the door frame from the dolly. During all this, I talk to the owner, Robert... he does try to make it right by offering us a loaner washer n dryer. Ill give him credit for that, as he did not have to do that. And he promised that hed send someone to fix the door frame. We also discussed the estimated delivery of the washer and dryer we ordered. He said it would be about 1 or 2 weeks (I think)... and hed bring the loaners and update us when he knew something more. (He did bring the loaners on Thursday, no issues)Well, the units we bought did come in as estimated... but still no pedestals. Those were estimated at another month, and he told me there were none in the entire USA.Well, I asked if I find them, would he refund my money for those items and install the units on pedestals I bought..... Robert said sure... if you think you can find them.5 mins later, I had them purchased online from Lowes, and picked them up that afternoon. (None in the USA????, guess lowes doesnt count? )They did bring our washer and dryer the next day, and installed them. The guys hooked them up, and powered them on... but did not actually check them.... because as soon as I tried to run a load... the gfci tripped.I Googled this and turns out these units were notorious for that. And the manufacture blames the electrical, and the electrician blames the manufacturer... etc. Etc.... so I didnt even bother to call s&g... as I knew it would be another hassel and I worked around it myself from Google searches. (Not an ideal fix... but I was DONE with this situation!)Well, since then, Ive emailed Robert twice in two weeks to try to get my door fixed... and he has not even answered my email... not one peep.So, once again... I guess Ill fix my door frame myself that THEY damaged and PROMISED to fix.So, broken promise, after broken promise... I would advise to be very very careful and do your due diligence if you decide to use this company.
Never made it into the storeI brought my trailer and needed a couple refrigerators and a couple stoves and a couple dishwashers that I had called about earlier in the day.I pulled into the parking lot and started to walk across to get lunch at Waffle House before I went to purchase. A guy came out and told me I couldn’t park there and I needed to move.Never said hi or could I help you, just move.Person I talked to on the phone this morning was nice price agreed to was reasonable, person coming out the door was not.Taking my biz to another place with my quote that says the will price matchYour loss
I accidentally called this place thinking it was another store. How rude of the person who answered the phone and hung up on me I will definitely not use this place in the future and we do a lot of turns services and full renovations shame on you whoever you were
I’m a Homebuilder and have been working with S and G for over 20 years. They do a great job helping with selections. Delivery is always on time and courteous. Prices are competitive. Everyone there is always a pleasure to work with.
We have bought our appliances from Robert at S&G for years. Great service and selection. Check them out before you go to Lowes or Home Depot. Their prices are the same or better and you get a better product and definitely better service!

I personally wouldnt buy anything from this place. I was parked outside with truck and trailer by the road while my Helper was next door getting us a breakfast sandwich 🥪 and a man came out and asked me was I planning on being here long. He had a nasty attitude. It was early in the morning mind you. Plenty of parking. But no worries for that. Ive past this past a thousand times. Only time parking lot is full is game day. Nasty attitude should be cleaned up. If you deal with the public you should already know this.
