I had just recently moved here from the St. Louis area and found this shop. This was my second visit and was looking for a reel for my nieces creek rod set up. The guy working this morning asked if he could find anything for me. I explained that it was for a kids rod and I didnt want to spend a ton. He told me to hang on a bit and ran to the back. He returned with a Shimano FX 1000 spinning reel. It was the perfect size and price that I was looking for. I also grabbed a store baseball cap to let ppl know where I get my stuff from. All I can say is, being 900 miles from home and finding ppl that treat ypu right is awesome. Thanks again

They have a way better selection than bass pro. I always hated how bass pro doesnt sell keitech lures, but Susquehanna does so thats a good thing. they also have a lot of shimano reels which are in my opinion the best reels you can buy and they also have st. croix and shimano rods. I definitely will be mostly shopping here more than bass pro.

I am looking to replace my rod and fishing reel. The place had a good selection of rods and reels. The one person behind the counter was only worried about telling me how much the rods cost and to come back when I had money. He was not concerned with what I wanted to do with it just how much the rods cost. The other person (I wish I knew his name) was more helpful in showing me the difference between a spinning rod and a bait caster.

I Called the store to verify that a shimano EXPRIDE was in stock as they are pretty hard to find in the particular model I was looking for. Two other larger tackle stores had already stated that they had it, I ordered and they took my money only to contact me days later and say it was out of stock and it took them a week each to refund my card. Mike answered and assured me he had one in stock. I went online and ordered it and a vanford. Both were shipped the next day by Susquehanna usps priority. I received the vanford in two days however the rod did not come nor was there any tracking information. I again called and mike answered and I told him the issue. Mike immediately emailed me the tracking number and then assured me that he would check with usps. Usps did get the package and for whatever reason held my rod at the Lancaster hub for 8 DAYS! After mike and I both complained and filed inquiries the rod mysteriously showed up at my local hub the next day but they would not deliver to my door?? The usps never answered my complaint, never offered an explanation, and never offered to refund my shipping which they clearly screwed up. This is absolutely NOT a negative review for Susquehanna- mike worked with me several times personally trying to figure out what the problem was. When I did get the rod in my hand it was packed nicely by Susquehanna and had a label clear as day that said it had been shipped on the 29th of December priority 3 day shipping - I got it January 9th. Sooo five big stars to Susquehanna for good stock and great service as for the usps??? I will pay whatever it cost to have anything else I order the rest of my life shipped by ANYONE else. Mike and Susquehanna earned a new customer

Went there this past weekend to get some gear for trout fishing. They had the process all figured out with corona, and they were still able to help us get our gear fairly quickly! Awesome people that will brighten your day!

I bought a fishing rod last Friday went out to the ocean the same getting ready to setup the lines realized the ring tip were missing I was so disappointed because I couldn’t fish. Came back to the shop today trying to exchange or return the rod and they were raising there voice at me with a badass attitude said “no return or exchange”. The policy and the customer service there is very very bad. I will never step my foot in that place again. Never seen any place that is very rude like them!!!

Well they just have things related to how I fish, river/smallmouth. Oh and I have never been there, I order my stuff online. I know what I like, Google search it, their shop came up and I got the unique product I was looking for, these pics were just a few of what we caught, using weedless tube jigs and small tubes that I only seem to be able to find here

Staff was super knowledgeable and friendly they have everything you need and can give some great advice. Will be back again for my next tackle purchase.

These guys are super friendly and knowledgeable. Their store is very well stocked. You might spend an extra Dollar or two vs buying online, but its money well spent in my opinion. Everyone local should be supporting this awesome store.

Got there in a rush. Asked the big guy where a specific type of hook was.. his response, I kid you not was Did you look? No I didnt look. I didnt want to spend 15 minutes looking for the hook, when it takes me 30 seconds to ask you, someone who gets paid to show people where stuff is. Smh just do your job, and do it right. Its sad that Im not the only person that has left a bad review about him.The other guy there with the beard was really really friendly though. Since no one wants to answer phone to let me know what brand fly rods and reels they carry Ill drive the extra 5 miles an go to kinseys to pick up a premium fly set up was planning on spending about 375-425. Plus every time I shop there the staff watches you like a hawk I guess they feel like everyone us trying to steal from them just not a comfortable atmosphere to shop

I was there today around lunch time and it was very frustrating. There was no help on the floor. There was 4 guys behind the counter sharing lengthy fish stories with empty handed customers and no one interested in taking my money at a register. I could have ordered a pizza in the amount of time I waited. Nice selection but I’ll buy online next time.

My first time going was bass fest 2017 and all I can say is amazing store locally not many tackle shops like that around the brands they carry blow anyone out of the water around Central PA by far and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the whole set up of bass fest was bar none my only complaint about the store is how much money youll spend there not saying prices are high just one of those places you just cant help yourself

Best selection of high quality bass fishing rods, reels and lures/tackle. I live about a 2.5 hour drive away from them and go here regularly just because I know they will have every color of every lure i could possibly need. Staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Bluegills where $2 a piece and they where babies. Culleys sells then $1.25 a piece N they aren’t so small.

It has a great selection just with the help was a little nicer. To be more specific i wish the one guy was nicer. The heavy set gentleman with the sunglasses tan treated me like a pest instead of a customer, the rest of the staff is fantastic. This one guy is the reason it didnt get 5 stars. I spent over 200 dollars, not a giant amount but i wasnt just buying worms either.
