I came to the shop yesterday to get my second holes re-pierced. I had a very positive experience with Jonathan who was highly knowledgeable and very polite. He made me feel very comfortable and expertly placed the piercing with minimal discomfort.My brief interaction with Cat was not positive, but that’s fine as she didn’t pierce me.The shop was clean and had Covid protocols in place. I would recommend Raw and return in the future if I needed another piercing.

I went there today looking to get a surface piercing. I assumed it was $35 but I was informed that it was $50. Okay understandable. Today was the last day of the $10 off any piercing college special. So I was going to get the piercing. Then I was told “the surface isn’t included in the special, it’s only a standard piercings” (the flyer clearly says any 1 piercing). So I said okay I’ll just get my nostril pierced because I didn’t want to feel like I came all the way to Columbia from Orangeburg for nothing. When it was time to pay, I was quoted a price of around $45. I asked why so much because it was only supposed to be $25. She turned the screen around and it had a price of $45 for the piercing & a $10 up charge for jewelry. She took $10 off for the “discount”. I never asked for upgraded jewelry & a nostril piercing is standard any other time. I asked her how the jewelry that the piercing comes with looked & she showed me two diamond studs, one small and one large, nothing else. I feel like it’s bad business to change up prices when you have a “special” just so you won’t lose money. I feel for any college student that got a piercing during this special because if they tried to get over on me I’m pretty sure they did that to others.

It was busy but I expected that. They took walk-in even in between appointments ans still were prompt with getting people in an out. I just went in to swap out my piercing ring. The guy(Josh i think 😬)was very nice and quick and even gave me tips on continued after care. Ill definitely go back again!

I had my helix pierced by Greg, but I was pretty disappointed in the professionalism of the shop. The lobby stinks of incense, the staff were very foul-mouthed, and I felt like they were making fun of me for not knowing a lot about piercings. For the actual jewelry, the choices were extremely limited (3 to pick from) and the staff was rude about me asking and being indecisive. They didn’t offer me different sizes until I prompted them. Even they they said “oh I guess we have smaller ones if you want”. They asked if I wanted to leave a tip before I had any work done. Also, no aftercare solution is included. They didn’t talk me through aftercare or the timeline at all.They told me not to go to Claire’s for my second holes. I went to Claire’s same day, and they were so much nicer, more sterile, more professional, and more gentle.This might be a great shop for specialty body piercing, but it is not the most professional or high-end shop. You get what you pay for. $35 for the piercing, $10 for a rhinestone stud.

I absolutely love this place. I was so nervous going here to get my piecing done but the guy Greg there made me feel so comfortable and I didn’t feel anything. I got my cartilage pierced. It looks amazing!

I visited once for a jewelry replacement for cartilage, and another time to get my nose pierced. Each time, staff was knowledgeable and professional. Piercing isnt really my thing and I visited a different business in the past that messed the cartilage up, so Im not super trusting. But I feel comfortable here.

Have gotten a total of 3 piercings within the last 2 weeks. Greg made me feel very comfortable, was awesome with keeping convo going during the piercing process- which helped settle the nerves. They were even able to get me in early on my second visit compared to when my scheduled appt was. 1000% recommend for any piercing needs if your in the Columbia area! Clean, quick, friendly, and knowledgeable!

We had a phenomenal experience here. Jonathan took care of us at the front, and provided my fiance with a wonderful naval piercing. This was her first naval piercing, and from arriving to the store, to leaving, they made us feel safe and happy throughout. They explain every instruction you need to know, and they tell you what they are doing before they do it. My fiance and I chose Raw Body Piercing for their high reviews, but we are returning because of their customer service and quick, safe business practices. Thanks Jonathan!

I had a great experience at Raw Body Piercing.I drove nearly 30 minutes because they were the closest shop that offers dermal anchors.I visited as a walk in and was greeted within minutes. The studio is very tidy with a nice selection of body jewelry, all for a reasonable price. The waiver is completed by conveniently scanning the QR Code on the counter with your phone.All of the staff seemed to have a friendly demeanor. Kat thoroughly answered all of my concerns while detailing piercing aftercare. She was super patient, quick, and easy.It has been a couple of days and my piercing looks great. I definitely recommend checking them out!

I had my tragus and conch pierced last week, and it was a very nice and laidback experience. I decided to wait a couple of days to review, just to make sure there was no reaction to my jewelry. So far both piercings are doing very well, and the jewelry is absolutely perfect. Kathryn was extremely kind and worked me into her schedule. She did a fantastic job making sure both piercings lined up. Everyone in the shop was super helpful and willing to answer any questions that I had.

I had Kat and it was my first ever piercing and she made it very comfortable for me and was very clean. She was nice and fast, which is what I wanted lol. Overall my experience was a 10/10

I went to get my septum done by Kat. I was in and out very quickly. Kat was very helpful in answering my questions, walking me through the piercing process, and giving me aftercare instructions. I was a bit nervous, but she was super patient and eased my nerves. I would certainly recommend anyone considering a body piercing to visit this place! Very clean and professional.

I went to get a jewelry change. Even though I wasn’t in there long, I had a good experience.. the woman at the register and the man who did my change were really nice and answered my questions about the apprenticeship.. thinking about getting into this!

I had a 1:00 appointment with Johnathan and he was on time and professional. I got a belly button jewelry change and an industrial bar. I was very nervous to get the industrial bar but Johnathan helped ease some of the worry. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. He’s patient, has a clean space, and has great conversation. Will be returning soon to get a nose piercing!!! The whole staff was friendly.

I am sooo upset. I’ve had my nostril piercing in since April and in just two days my piercing completely closed because of the faulty jewelry you guys sold me!!!! It broke over the weekend 7/31/21 and your shop is closed on Sundays so I couldn’t go up there and talk to anyone about it or get new jewelry in time. By the time I was able to order some jewelry online and have it arrive to my house today 8/2/21 my piercing completely closed and now I am unable to put any of my new piercings in. So not only did I waste $20-$30 getting my nose pierced I wasted another $10 buying new jewelry from this place and another $10 on getting them to change it out for me, only to have that jewelry break within two weeks. I am very disappointed and I won’t be buying jewelry from this place ever again!!!

I was there today 6-25-21. I came to get my septum done. They were very clean and friendly. I was pierced by Greg. He is awesome. I was very nervous he told me everything that was going to happen and it would be quick. I use to go to knotty heads which gives me a uneasy feeling. I didn’t have that with raw. Thank y’all so much. Y’all are great. Can’t wait for more work to be done by y’all.

This little unassuming place on the side of the road is a gem! On a Tuesday afternoon, there were people waiting out the door and despite not being able to take a break everyone who worked at Raw were professional and stayed calm and collected. The piercing experience was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

I got a piercing awhile back from Raegin. She was very professional and made me feel at ease when I was nervous. The shop is very clean and appealing. There was a pretty good variety of jewelry to pick from. Its been a few months and my piercing is perfect; I had no complications with healing thanks to their aftercare advice. I would definitely recommend RAW Body Piercing to anyone looking for a future appointment.

This business is my only recommendation if you want a piercing done. After visiting several locations in Columbia, this is by far my favorite. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is welcoming and this may sound weird but it feels really clean in her establishment. I’ve been to places that seem dull and cluttered so when walking into Raw, the environment feels light and it’s neat and organized. I also love the color scheme! There may be a bit of a wait time for walks ins so it’s best to make an appointment, BUT it is truly worth the wait if you are a walk in. S/O to Greg who did my and my daughter’s piercing, excellent service! He knew what he was doing without any hesitation and he made sure that we were satisfied with our new piercings. I like that they send you an email for aftercare, because it can difficult keeping up with paper imo. There’s also a great selection of piercing jewelry to choose from. Hands down this is a 5+ star business and you will not be disappointed!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. The place is absolutely spotless. I went in for a spur of the moment double nipple piercing. The procedure rooms are so clean and all of the equipment is sterile. My piercer, Greg, even changed his gloves multiple times just to maintain a sterile environment. I would give Greg a 10/5 stars, he was AMAZING! I got a little light headed and he was so helpful. I will for sure be back!! (they also have a rewards program, like um yes please!!)

I love this place. I go here for all my piercings. The staff is so nice, they always answer any questions I have and it doesn’t hurt that they always have some kind of special going on! I was nervous about getting my first and only piercing (nose ring). I was also set in my ways about wanting a hoop instead of the traditional stud. RAW Body Piercing made my first piercing easy & satisfied my want for a hoop ring over a stud. It healed perfectly fine within 6 months and I’ve now changed out the style 3 times over the last 2 years. Thank you RAW!

This is my 3rd time getting my nose pierced and both times were extremely painful with the second time being the WORST. Little bit of a wait time if you walk in without an appointment. Prices are good. Very professional staff. Piercing was done in a matter of seconds, barely felt the needle. I had my lip pierced here as well. This place is awesome.

May 25, 2021 …I do recommend raw body piercing! The vibe soon as I walked in was cool, relaxed, and positive. Please forgive me for not remembering her or his name! but the young lady in the front was very helpful! The young man who helped me pick out the jewelry for my 2 piercings was also ever helpful. What I got done today were both Tragus (on the Cartilage) and 1 Daith on the left side. I personally did schedule my appointment, But they do offer walk-ins! Greg is awesome!!! If you like a good distracting conversation, and awesome results he’s the guy. I will be coming back definitely to get a couple more piercings ☺️!! See ya soon (after my piercings heal) greg 🙌🏼. Thank Y’all Again.I also purchased 3 sets of titanium stud earrings for my earlobe holes and my sons. I’ve had them in for about 5 hours or so now and haven’t had to take them out. Other metals to us cause itching, area red, or feeling hot but these titanium stud are amazing!

I got a nose piercing done a few months ago. The whole process was pretty quick. The employees were nice and worked me through every thing. Jonathan even took the time to answer a few of my silly questions “like how much will it hurt” “did yours hurt”. Once I got to the back raegin sanitized and placed the mark and had me check it a few time just to make sure I was comfortable. It was quick and easy. 100 would recommend. Plus They take proper precautions due to covid which unfortunately same places aren’t. Everything is nice and super clean. I definitely will be coming back for all these piercings I have in mind!

I walked in and was serviced quickly. I think I had to wait 20ish minutes from the time I got there til when I was actually serviced but thats including 2 people who were before me. Cat did my piercing. She was fast and funny and talked me through the whole process. The shop is very clean, everybody had on masks and they disinfected between customers. I would recommend them to anybody.

My friend and I cam during their apprentice piercing specials to get our septums done. The facility was very clean and everyone was following COVID guidelines (wearing masks, limited customers inside etc.) Everyone was so nice and made sure we felt comfortable and understood how to properly care for our piercings. I havent had any issues with mine since. I would 100% go back for more piercings and would definitely recommend to others!

Raegin is very professional! My sister and I both got piercings back in October. Booking an appointment was easy. Raegin pierced us both; she did so in a timely manner and made sure we were happy with our piercings and knew how to take care of them. She even went out of her way to quickly look at another piercing my sister had gotten to ensure they were healing properly. Jewelry is great quality as well.

Very professional and knowledgeable about piercing. I got my nipples done here back in December and had a slight issue with the length of the barbell but they allowed me to come in and replaced the barbells for free. Very satisfied. Will definitely return.

I’m aware that saliva could loosen the balls and but they shouldn’t be coming off within 30 mins. I drive all the way from Georgia just to come to RAW. 🥺

If I had the option to leave no stars I would. My nose was pierced with 16g lip stud. I am highly upset and cannot get the stud unscrewed to change it to a smaller piercing. I will never reccomend this place for anyone.

Had some miscommunication with and online order. Call the store, the employee who answered wasnt quite able to help. The owner called me immediately and got everything solved. Very professional and great customer service. Will most definitely continue being a customer.
