Great selection of Egyptian, Halal, British and Middle Eastern foods. The store is run like a store from the Middle East and not a Hy-Vee. So don’t expect a smile in every isle or for the check out to most concerned about customer service. Nice enough guy. I will go again. Just because there are items you can only get there. Like goat meat. I hope he makes it. He should host a cooking class there. I am sure there are a lot of people who would give $50 a class to get the ingredients from that store and learn how to make a tasty dish.

I love this place!! The owner is an awesome guy! They have a great coffee and tea selection. The only place in town I can find Bulgarian Feta Cheese. Theyre moving to a larger location next month!

I love snack collections from multiple Middle Eastern countries. There are several spices that I can only find in this market.

One of the only places I can find the ingredients I need to make Persian dishes. They have such a wide variety of goods, and everything I’ve bought here I’ve been impressed with. I recommend they’re baklava too. It’s only a $1.50 for a big slice, and it tastes so good. The man who works is also very kind.

The old man needs to learn communicating appropriately with customers. When there is a damaged product that we notice after purchasing, he blames the customer for damaging it on purpose!!!! Why would any one do that!!! I purchased a rice bag in August and after opening it there were worms and flies in that bag and knowing how rude this old man is I never even cared to return it! His maintenance of the store is so bad. The only reason we go to him is because it’s the only store that sells few items that we need otherwise this is the last place to shop at!!!!

A great variety of wonderful canned and packaged foods needed for meditteranean cooking. However, service is horrible; it borders on hostile, assuming you can persuade the cashier to abandon his cell phone activity to answer a question. This is a cash-only establishment, which causes an inconvenience for most shoppers. We called ahead to see if a specific item was in stock and we were told it was there. When we arrived, there was no such item and the cashier denied any knowledge of ever having stocked it. I wont go back there but I give it one star because they do have an excellent selection of canned and packaged foods for meditteranean cooking. Just a really unfriendly, bad attitude kind of place.

The only middle eastern store in Columbia. Only place to get goat meat. Vegetables are not fresh and very pricey. Decent grocery options. Nice owner. Accepts all cards but if Bill is less than 20 dollars, the credit card will have a processing fee. Parking spots are minimal and gets annoying sometimes to wait. Checkout is easy and usually takes about 10 min.

They carry products at this store that is not available at the other places, so it was nice to be able to find exotic product at this place, but make sure to check the exp date because some of the products dont have exp date. they owner is very rude, so be ready to be forgiving and just ignore him if you have to go to this store.

Global market is The place to go in Columbia for Halal and imported goods. Importantly, they have great pita bread at a reasonable price. If you need goat kidneys qnd barley flour, they have that, and buy anything that looks like a snack, you will probably be pleasantly surprised. They also carry hookah supplies.

This place has no return or exchange policy, so many times I bought packaged items that have gone bad, but the owner is very rude and dose not care that he sold you rotten items. It’s to bad the old Indian - Pakistani grocery store closed down due to owner passing away. Dose columbia food department not care about this type of activity? Maybe no one has reported him yet. Such a shame....

The worst store.. They have No respect on customers. They sell many expired products (Exp date is not printed on many products). I bought on non-eatable product which is about to expire, When went to return the product the owner was really rude and said STUPID PEOPLE WORRY ABOUT THE EXPIRY DATE. What does it mean? unfortunately he is the own of the store hence, I cant escalated it further. There are many many many......... products which does not printed expiry dates on it. Specially Vegetables are always WHITE FUNGUS. You will effect to lot of health issues and skin problems if you use expired products. He do not have any respect on customers. I am searching for the right official to complain on the products and behavior of the store .........................

This place has worst customer service that I have ever seen in my life. The seller literally argues with customer for no reason and ask to leave and not to come ever in his shop. I have seen him arguing with a lady not to come to his place. The price tagged in the product is different from what he actually charge. When you ask him why he charged more than tagged then his reply will be price changes and if you do not want dont buy. The seller has no sense of how customer will feel. As the Global market is only the place that sells indian, arabic, and other asian stuffs, there is no way people can go to other place for the items they need. The seller is arrogant, ignorant, and very rude to customer. Some of the items are expired and spoiled.I wish I can give zero star to this market place.

This store has a very wide selection of neat products, but at least hallf of what I saw had no price tags and no signage on the shelf either. I did not feel like asking for prices on the 10 items I was interested in, and I ended up leaving without buying anything.

This store is the only place in town I come to buy sheesha and hookahs. Its the only place I recommend to friends and family for the same. The owners are always there to answer my questions (I usually have a lot) and they never seem to be bothered or anything but generous and helpful!

Wonderful selection of exotic products you cant buy anywhere else! I always buy my groceries from here when Im in town and I stock up on spices! Great quality and prices too!

The owner has a really bad attitude toward customers. ِAlso, most of the items they got do not have expiration date. I contacted the city official inspector division. They say all food has to have expiration or best use by dates printed on, it is FDA regulations.

The owner’s behaviour is very bad. I heard a lot of bad things about his behaviour and his bad service after moving to Columbia and I experienced it as well. Avoid him and his store, you can buy halal meat from amish village in half price compared to his store. I will never go to his store again.UPDATE: This owner verbally abused us for giving this negative review. He is aggressive with his words and behavior, as usual. It seems he stalked my online profiles to find my identity.

Nothing fancy, the guy who runs the store is good. I mean this is not Wal-Mart. Dingy store. I will sure go again. I appreciate him for having groceries.

The guy gave us decayed/diseased chicken. Luckily I inspected prior to marination and found the meat to be yellow in color and with a very putrid smell. I went to complain about it however the owner refused to even look at it and told me that I must have placed it in the sun whole day. I have never in my life encountered a merchant who would sell decayed meat and then refuse to accept responsibility for it. I had to report him to the county health department.
