Even 1 star is too much. I purchased a vehicle back in May and have yet to receive my vehicle title. I paid cash for my vehicle, they had no problem receiving my money. Ive been calling this dealership for about 2 weeks now, no one answers in the Title Dept nor returns calls. Ive called to speak to a manager or supervisor, no one answers nor call you back. This is unacceptable and very poor customer service. I will not purchase another vehicle nor recommend Jim Hudson Dealership to anyone in the future. Is this the way Jim Hudson Dealership treats their customers? I wish I would have known. I never expected this from a reputable dealership.
I got robbed without a gun. They fixed 1 problem and created another and wanted me to pay twice.. they fixed the outside door latch and now the door wont open from the inside & wont me to pay 400$ to fix it. After I said no way I had to pay 152 for the diagnosis. If you broke it fix it. You are about to loose a loyal customer Neil Moseley you handled both transactions.
I took my car in for a “service engine soon” light and had oil changed and tires rotated while I was there. I asked about how long it would take and was told about an hour and a half. I understand that they could not tell me exactly how long it would take but they never came and gave me an update at all. After 4 hours I went and asked and told them not to wash my car because it had been long enough. That process took 4 1/2 hours with other issues along the way.
While traveling through South Carolina my 2018 Cadillac Escalade needed a new battery and to be recalibrated. Afraid to shut my car off I pulled right into the service garage. A service advisor by the name of Travis Herring helped me. He was awesome!! After answering a few questions for him, he took care of everything!! Also, a tech by the name if Derrick was the best!!! I made an appointment to have my Cadillac’s oil pressure gauge repaired/ replaced. I arrive at appointed time 11:30 and tell my service advisor what was wrong and told him to change oil as well. He asked was I leaving car with him . I responded yes I will pick up after work. I arrive after work my advisor gone home for the day and another advisor tells me my car is not ready! In fact it has not been looked at yet! No phone call, no explanation, nothing. This is day one. Utterly useless to make an appointment.When Jim Hudson says Once you experience it, you will never forget it!!Incompetence is hard to forget!! I would warn you about using this dealership. I gave it 1 star because I could not choose zero!!
Called about a recall. They gave me an appointment. I get there and they do not have the part. They have to order the part. I made a trip for NOTHING. I then emailed the service mgr 3 times and called multiple times. He does not respond back. I then left a voicemail for the GM. No response either! The service receptionist kept transferring me to the automated system because she recognized my number. This is HORRIBLE customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO BETTER!
Took my car in for an oil change, just an oil change. Sat here for 2 and a half hours. Absolutely beyond slow. Told them guy across from me “10-15 more minutes” and it’s been over an hour later as well. 100% would stay away from this dealership and find ANY other Cadillac dealership to go to.
My 2020 Cadillac had to be towed into Jim Hudson for a transmission issue at 12k miles. Service has only lied numerous times about what is going on with it. That’s if you can even get the courtesy of a phone call. Rest assured my business will be done else where and not with any Jim Hudson dealerships.
Erwin is the absolute best. He helped us get a truck 5 years ago and we still keep in touch. He is truly awesome and very knowledgeable about their vehicles.
My vehicle was with them for almost 3 weeks, because they didn’t fix it right the first time. I get it back today and before I could even get in I notice large scratches in my hood. 😡This is a hundred thousand dollar vehicle.Lastly, don’t trust GM’s certified ore owned warranty because they pick and choose what they want to honor.It’s very disheartening when you think the safest place for your vehicle is the Cadillac dealership.

Nick of JIM HUDSON CADILLAC gave usFive STAR SERVICE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️On Labor Day 2020 . We took our 2015 Cadillac Escalade to Big Bear Mountain in California. We also towed our G23 Ski Nautique to the lake for the holiday weekend . We had a situation where we avoided a major accident and the Escalades powerful baking system saved us from the accident .What we didn’t know is the trauma on the system put us in 4 WHEEL drive mode . We couldn’t get the vehicle out of 4 wheel drive mode. This is a major problem being 3 hours from a car dealership and it is a big holiday . In a panic, We called Nick the service manager @ JIM HUDSON CADILLAC . He spent over 2 hours FaceTiming and helped us reset the entire Cadillac computer system . Recently I took my new 2019 XT4 in to switch 18 for 20 OEM rims and tires. In the process one of my new chrome rims was scratched while in their care. I was told I would be reimbursed if I replaced it. I sent the receipt two times to Frank Flynn, the individual who promised in front of the mechanic who worked on my vehicle. I contacted the service manager 3 times with no response. Great service.....smh
Well, My Whole experience with Jim Hudson Cadillac, started OFF, With a blessing, It was around 5;30pm, just had left the Audi Dealership....Then as I was leaving decided to drive through Cadillac area.....Noticed the Black Escalade Premium Luxury just seating there... Could not take my eyes off of this vehicle.(Had been Looking for over 2 years for That perfect Vehicle for Me and the Wife..(Auto trader, Carmax, Carfax, Carsforsale, Cargurus, Cars.com, Hendricks BMW Group, Dodge Land Ram, Lincoln Aviator, Nissan Armada, Mercedes Benz).. Decided to enter the Jim Hudson Sales area....One Man was Leaving, and asked could I help you, I told him I saw this vehicle on the Jim Hudson internet web site... He said the person your looking for is gone...Told me he was about to get off for, a well deserved dinner...Then, Mr. Tom Mackay, said I will help you, I will be back with the keys. Took the vehicle around the block, That was it, put some money down on it....As a Veteran in the United States Air Force with over 22 years and a Federal Court officer for 20 years, was presented a COIN of Recognition, I was Joyful and Amazed!. The Jim Hudson experience is second to none. Travis contacted me the evening I visited the dealer website and opted-in the price watch of a particular model. From that moment, until the next day that my wife and I went in to visit, Travis kept me informed, and provided me with updates and options as necessary. So glad we visited the day we did. My expectations were exceeded by the care, the service, the inventory and the overall experience. UPDATE!!!! I am still having the worst customer service with Jim Hudson Cadillac!! To be a luxury dealership in the Northeast side of Columbia, you would thing they would be better at handling all the disappointed customers. Majority of the reviews here are negative. I should have received a refund from Jim hudson for almost 2 months now. I have yet to hear from anyone. I went to the dealership and was told I would receive a call back from Tom Sheffield, the service manger, a month ago. I have called and left numerous voice-mails. I had higher expectations from Jim Hudson especially selling over one hundred thousand dollar vehicles. I will never purchase a vehicle here Again. Save yourself the headache and disappointment. Find another dealership!!I purchased a 2015 Cadillac Escalade from this dealership in June of this year. The Vehicle was advertised as a Certified Pre-Owned with low miles and at a good price!! I started having issues with my power steering so I decided to take the truck in for service and see what the issue was. Imagine in just 4 months an issue with power steering on a CPO vehicle. Once my car was in for service it was brought to my attention that my vehicle was not covered under any warranty and they did not honor my CPO warranty!! I then contacted both my sales rep and the sales manager. My Sales rep Jolena and I both remember signing the CPO documentation and moving to finance. The first sales manger Sonny was very rude and basically told me it was my lost, my vehicle was not certified and he was not going to certify the vehicle. I then contacted Ben Greene, the original sales manager from when I purchased my vehicle. Mr. Greene stated my vehicle should be covered under the CPO warranty and he would contact me back with an update and figure something out. I have contacted Mr. Greene 3 times since our initial conversation a week ago and have yet to get a response or update. I am an 11 year veteran and purchased this truck as a birthday gift to myself. If the management here is willing to not honor their sales and deals with a veteran like myself just imagine how they are willing to take advantage of a honest civilian!! Save the headache I am currently going through and go to a different dealership. Its not worth it!!

On several occasions I have tried to get my 2018 XTS Cadillac service and always have complications. I have set up several times for my car to be picked up and a loaner car be brought to me. This request has not happened yet. It is always something that goes wrong with setting up the loaner car. VIP service sucks! The women who answers the phone to set up appointments do not have a clue of what information they give to the customer. I call, make an appointment and this time they set me up for a 4:00 pm pick up. 5:00 I call them and they dont know anything about it. (Service Department) Their valet ends at 3:00 pm. This happen to me on several service occasions. I am very disappointed with this part of the service. Love my vehicle! It is a hassle to get it service.

My most recent experience at Jim Hudson has been one of the ones I dont want to remember. I came to them for an oil change and to have my tires balanced well in the process 3 of my studs were damaged. My service advisor stated that the parts had to be ordered. He stated I would receive a call when the part arrives that never happen I had to call them each time. I made an early appointment to have the part put on however with the amount of time it took them to correct something they damaged made the experience one I dont care to remember.
I Was in Columbia SC visiting family, I had a Escalade that Jim Hudson serviced in the past. While in SC, my new Escalade was due a service. I called and made an appointment, the service was excellent from start to finish. Still received the Top Notch service I received in the past. Great Place for Top Notch service on your new or used vehicle. I brought in my Cadillac and they repaired a recall on the rear hatch strut. When in for oil change, tire rotation, and check noisy brake. Estimated time was two hours. After 1 and half hours i was out there. Always good, fast, accurate service.
Service was great. the reason for the eight rating was, I did not think I should have been charged for the diagnostic because I had the work done there. I told the service manager what the code was on my car because I have a code reader.
I am actual long time customer of Jim Hudson. Ive know this establishment since 2002. They have always been like family to me. They really help me through difficult times when my personal issues had me feeling discouraged. As my extended family, Mr. Neal, and Mr. Goodwin, Tyrone were there for me. Did we always agree, no, but they went over and beyond to keep me as part of their Jim Hudson family. The Jim Hudson family are caring and compassionate. And I pray as well as believe for God to continue to bless this establishment more than ever before, because of the love extended to me each and everytime I enter the doors of their establishment for ever service needed. 2 hrs for oil change, didnt clean car, left dirty floor mat an best part they take key off but dont put back on ring. Best they could do. I dread going here for service. This will be my last cadillac an jim hudson.

I am rating this low because although my service was good, my car was dirty when I received it. As part of the service, my car is supposed to be cleaned. The inside of my car had splatter stains from where it looked liked they sprayed something to clean it an never wiped it. There was a dead bug in my cup holder. Not happy with the cleaning at all.
The service department accommodated my early arrival, worked quickly to get me in and out of the shop in a timely fashion (I was there in the middle of a work day), always very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

We just had the most awesome experience with this dealership! Our Silverado had a charging issue 1 mile from the dealership on our trip from Charlotte to Charleston with sofa onboard for our daughter. The staff was awesome. They got us in immediately and after bringing over the part and giving us a car to borrow we are on our way again. They all were great! The Enclave loaner was awesome. I highly recommend this company!

I have nothing good to say about this dealership. My husband and I drove 2 1/2 hours to Columbia to pick this truck up. My husband was in contact with them a dozen times asking for all information beforehand. We looked up on car fax that the truck was from NY. and we asked for more pictures but never got them. With the reviews on the website we trusted them. We secured funding from our bank and we were set. We put money down to hold it!We got there and my husband looked underneath the truck and rust was coming off in his hands. He asked the salesman about it and he said he had no idea. He was just told to get the truck ready. We asked why were we not told about the rust and the the salesman responded you didnt ask. The manager came out and he said he had no idea. His excuse was Im from NY and this isnt bad. Well lateeda! Little did he know that my husband was from NJ and he did. He knew that ANY rust was a detriment to any vehicle.We drove it. Ok, it drove well. It looked immaculate but something didnt sit well. No one knew how much rust was on the undercarriage? No one in the dealership had it up on a lift to see that even the spare tire was even completely rusted? We sat in the salesman office and asked for movement on the cost just to see what they would do. Well, guess what? They marked off 5K for us to buy it. Of course, someone knew how bad it was. Unbelievable! The original price was 29, 450.50 then it went to 24, 673.00. Now, Labor Day, we see the truck is still for sale but 2674.00 less ..........................????????not 5,000 less like they offered us. We have heard from no one, no apology, no nothing. If you are looking for a F150 on this lot now, for 21,999 RUN!!!! They are motivated to sell. WELL, NO WONDER!! We will be looking for our refund on the money to hold this truck.We will never return to this dealership even though we were told by the salesman that they were voted the best dealership by JD Powers. There is something rotten in Columbia about this dealership.

DONT DO IT! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. HAD A FRIEND WHO BOUGHT A PATHFINDER FROM THEM IT WAS NOT DELIVERED UNTIL THE 3 DAY LEMON LAW HAD LAPSED. THEN THE REAR END WENT OUT ON IT AND THEY HAD TO REPLACE IT THEMSELVES. THE WORKED ON MY MOMS CAR AND ATTEMPTED TO RIP HER OFF BY PUTTING IN PARTS NOT NEED AND WHEN I REQUESTED PARTS BACK ALL OF A SUDDEN THIS WAS AS BAD AS THEY THOUGHT IT WAS. THEN THE SECOND TIME THEY WORKED ON IT SINCE WE WOULDNT REPLACE THE WINDOW MOTIRS LIKE THEY WANTED THE A/C MYSTERIOUSLY STOPPED WORKING ALONG WITH THE WINDOWS. TRY IT ONCE YOULL NEVER FORGET IT.

I have been a customer for over 5 years and the only reason they received even one star is because Neil in the service department is great! Otherwise, the service department and staff that I have encountered are unprofessional and not to be trusted.
So disappointed in Jim Hudson Cadillac! Have had trouble with my “brand new” 2017 XT5 since I purchased it! The bad thing is I have no recourse with Cadillac because they have my car listed as a USED car!! Did Jim Hudson Cadillac sell me a USED car as if it was a new car????? I certainly paid a new car price!!!! Has been in and out of the service department every few months for the last 3 and 1/2 years. NEVER had a car this unreliable. Nick Johnson head of the service department will not call me back now. I guess they are done trying to help me. Just buyer beware! We are now on a trip and my navigation has gone dark and now my radio will not work. So frustrated Jim Hudson seems to not take responsibility for the error they made! This car has too many glitches so it MUST have been used and someone got rid of it! Be careful folks and pick another dealership!!
Took my car in for an oi change and learned I needed a Front End Alignment. This was taken care of swiftly. I left the agency and while driving, noticed that the alignment was not done correctly. When the steering wheel was in the right position, the car would turn to the right. Took it back and waited for almost 2 hours; when I went to inquire, I was told that they had to get an expert to look at it. Who did the work in the first time and why wait 2 hours to tell me they were getting another technician? The Service people told me that they would call immediately when it was done. They did not do this; I had to go to the Dealership Sat AM where I found out the car was ready . Un acceptable!!!
As much as I loved my purchasing experience with JH my service for the replacement of the tint on my xt5 drivers window has been terrible to say the lease. Ive tried for almost nine months, after every repair there is a reoccurrence and now we are at the ninth month. it is unbelievable that a thing so simple on such a high tech car cant be repaired.Well here it is 3/16/19 and no one cares enough to respond back to me,can I take back that one star?

I brought our new CTS to the dealership for the second time to fix a rattle coming from the back of the car. Two days passed without a call or update. I called them. The car would be fixed the next day and they would call me when it was ready they said. Another two days, no call. I called them. The delay was due to a part that had to be ordered, but the car was fixed, the rattle was gone, and the car was in line to be washed. An hour, two at most, they said. I waited three hours to be safe.We gave our information to a service advisor, returned the keys to our loaner (a 2019 XT5 with even fewer miles on it than our still new CTS), and were told our car was ready and someone would pull it up. 30 minutes passed. I approached another person in the service bay since the one Id spoken to wasnt around. She apologized and immediately went to retrieve our car.When she pulled up our once black car was so dirty and so completely covered with pollen that it was yellow. I cant overstate how dirty the car was. The car was so dirty that clouds of yellow dust swirled around it Pigpen style as she approached. Two other people standing nearby saw the car coming, gasped audibly (one of them actually said, Oh my!), and leapt through the service bay doors to avoid the dusty yellow cloud bearing down upon them like the judgment of an angry if petty god.We must have looked stunned (I am certain my mouth was hanging open), so she offered us a rain check even though the day was sunny and we could see the car wash on the other side of the bay only had one car in line, and ran off without so much as walking us through the repairs that had allegedly been made or even asking us to sign a piece of paper saying that wed gotten our car.We started to drive off but I noticed the window trim that was one of the reasons we made a service appointment in the first place was still loose, and we returned to the bay. Our original service advisor appeared. To his credit he did apologize, said hed been trapped in meetings since we spoke on the phone, and was appropriately horrified by the condition of the car, especially when I pointed out that I could see my perfectly-captured fingerprints in the pollen around the door handle. They took the car in and, an hour later, fixed the window. I put fixed in quotation marks because while that panel was now flush with the rest of the cars bodywork, the rubber seal inside the window was now deformed. As a gesture of goodwill, our service advisor had them wash the car (can doing what one has already pledged to do be called a gesture of goodwill?). However...I exit the dealership, prepare to turn onto I-77, driving over a very slightly elevated seam in the road due to the construction that seems to be a permanent fixture of Killian Road and... rattle, rattle, rattle. The rattle that wed taken our less than 5 months old car to the dealership to be fixed twice was... not. I drove home, tired, dejected, late for a dinner date. But one thing kept nipping at me, some thing that seemed particularly off.Days later it hit me: the pollen! My fingerprints! There were no other marks in all that dust. I barely touched the car and my fingerprints were everywhere. They take it apart to fix a rattle behind the back seat and dont leave a single mark? As a final act in this comedy of errors, Onstar emailed me diagnostic report, telling me that the nitrogen in the tires was just as low as it was before I made the appointment. The dealership didnt even put air in the tires! I honestly dont think they touched my car once in four days.

I have had nothing but trouble with my Cadillac since purchasing it from here and Im getting no help as to whats the real issue with my car. I stay in this dealership with a multitude of different issues. Makes me regret buying my car from here. I would not reccomend at all!!!
