Went in with the family to upgrade our phones and change providers. We were helped right away by Shaun. He made the process super simple and easy. This was the best experience that I’ve ever had at a wireless store. They treat you right and don’t bring up extra random charges. Again, Shaun was an awesome help in the process. Ask for him if he is available.
I generally have a good experience at this location, but not so much this time. The person that greeted me, Selena, was not very friendly and began to change things on my phone without asking or even telling me what was going on. Selena was very nonchalant about the made changes and closed out tabs that I needed to have access to and have no idea how to recover. This is major for me as a person that lives with memory issues. I’m sure that I became noticeably irritated so another representative stepped in to finished working with me. He also wasn’t the friendliest but he did let me know what was happening and the issue with my phone was resolved.
Im very disappointed.......disgusted as a Matter of Fact. The representatives at this store do not even deserve to be of any kind of customer service. I paid for a phone and requested curbside pickup. I got an email that the phone was ready, so I went pulled up to the store and parked in the curbside parking space. The lady that was outside to service curbside customer walked inside when me and my spouse pulled up. I was thinking that she was going to retrieve our order. That was not the case. She and her manager Deivis Hernandez stood in the store staring at us in the car as we waited. Didnt stick there head out the and say how can help you or anything. At this point Im upset because Im 8months pregnant and the rep on the phone informed me that I would have to show my ID...which means I have to get out and wobble in the store. When I got in the store I ask for my device in which the manager began to hand me my bag. I ask why didnt anyone bring it to me and he stated it was proper precautions bc I didnt check in. I informed him I never received a text message to check in and instead of his representative Irma Burser walking off on us to walk in the building and then stare at us as if she is scared for her life if she would have greeted us (customer service) we would have been able to resolve this. I know this bc I went to the wrong store (Lexington)first and was greeted in curbside and informed that I had the wrong location. This harbison location is horrible at first I thought I was racially profiled but after reading the other reviews they have ALL AROUND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE..!! NEW MANAGEMENT NEEDED..!!
Great folks with alot more patience than me. Answered all my questions and walked me through the entire process of choosing and setting up a new phone!Very friendly & helpful, just know you need an appointment for personalized service.
Do not try this location if you want customer service. I had 4 different representatives before leaving the store with my issue still an issue. The customer service rep was helping someone on the phone as he tried to help me. Then suggested the use of the app? I’m in the store. I suggest another location as these people could care less if I was a Verizon customer or not. I will never shop here again and if I’m on hold much longer with Verizon I may be switching service provider.

Im incredibly disappointed in Verizon. Upon moving overseas (active duty military) Verizon continued to charge me for things I did not authorize. I ended up wasting two hours with a representative online only for him to say it was taken care of. Sure thing the next month charges were still there. I decided to just cancel everything instead of using their military suspension which was supposed to be free. I spent multiple more hours with multiple agents trying to get my money back and finally gave up. My time is worth more than that but its going to cost them my business and trust.

Marcus came out to our car and helped my husband and I set up our new phone. He was so patient and helpful, went out of his way to make sure we could transfer the info from the old phone to the new phone. He even let us use his hot spot! I can’t say enough about what great customer service we received from Marcus!!! Thank you!
I went to Verizon on St. Andrews Rd, I almost passed it, Im glad I didnt. Christian who was from another store helped me. I was just looking for a case and he suggested the screen protector because it was cracked. I asked alot of questions and he answered every one with patience, respect and great knowledge. Then I inquired about getting a tablet and he explained the process of adding it to my account. Again, I asked alot of questions and he took the time to show me the how-tos. Christian was so pleasant and professional. I will recommend him to everyone I know. He was filling in for someone, hes from West Columbia store.

You have options - DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! We upgraded an iPhone for a family member who goes to school in Columbia, SC. We are from Chicago area. Everything was done online and we scheduled an instore pick up with trade in. She shows up when store first opened and was treated MISERABLY. RUDE ASSOCIATES. They essentially did not admit her into store, threw the phone at her while still outside; offered NO assistance and NO direction as to trade in. Verizon stores have been difficult to work with in the decades we have been with Verizon. This store is the most RUDE with ZERO customer support.

We went right in today looking for a new case and screen protector. We were able to immediately talk to a rep and see all of the options available. Service was great and everyone was friendly. Theyve redesigned this location since my last visit and I like the new, open feel.

The store is being renovated so from the street it looks closed but theyre in there. The sales team are all very nice and we were helped as soon as we walked in. Great store. Cant wait to see how it looks once done.

Visited this store after going to the Lexington store with no help from them.. John got me what I needed and was extremely helpful and replaced the glass cover on my phone for me .. Lexington store told me they didnt have nor anyone else around..I should go to Best buy Ill drive across town to go to this store. The Lexington store always ends up making me mad by the time I leave.
Totally unhelpful. I switched fromAT&T because they didnt know what they were doing over the phone. I went back to AT&T. I can deal with ignorance, but not with total silence.
It really means a lot when you go into a phone store and actually get someone who wants to help you solve your problem, and is willing to patiently walk you through the steps and answer your questions. It seems like its getting harder and harder to find a place like that these days, but this is one of those places.
The customer service at this location is a disgrace. I walked in and had no one make eye contact or acknowledge a new customer had entered. I had to ask an associate to please help me make an exchange, I was told I should have checked in first to which I replied there was no one available to do so, the response to that was as if I had done something wrong.. I followed protocol and put my name on the list, only to wait 30 minutes to simply exchange a phone case. The associate who did end up helping me was kind and extremely helpful. Customer service has much room for improvement!

Seriously awesome customer service. My phone screen protector has cracked and I came into this store for a new one. The man who assisted me took 10 minutes to carefully clean off my phone screen and put the new one on to make sure no dirt or smudges were on the screen. Thank you! Definitely will return to this location.

Helpful staff, awkward location and accessibility. Definitely over staffed n needs better definition ofvservice for the customer experience. Theres no seating or tables to test out or setup your services n devices. If you know what you want before hand it may be a better fit. Not a location that manages conflict over devices or returns comprehensively.
I wouldn’t recommend this location. Unless your okay with being lied to, disrespected and uneasy on doing business with Verizon. Thanks to a trusty Verizon employee mr. Brandon decided it would be good to sign me up for a protection plan on my new upgrade. That I did not authorize. I had to get it off my email RECEIPT to see what was put on my account. Needless to say it would kick in once I activate my new phone. Had to drive 30 minutes from where I should have done business with Verizon in Lexington. I show up To get Brandon at Harbison Irmo Verizon to remove that added service from my account. Upon arrival not only did I get greeted from the on duty manager she took no action or concern on my situation I explained. Not a fun experience. Purchased 01/08/20

They have great communication services. But their customer service sucks. Every single time that I have an issue with Verizon theyre always trying to worm their way out of just doing the right thing. Its funny how some businesses think theyre too big to fail. Not true!
I only go to the Verizon corporate store if I absolutely have to. The sales people are poorly educated on their products and plans. Much better experience at Best Buy. If I need an accessory then I tend to find the Verizon store is the place to go for everything else I would go elsewhere.
A great place to go to if you are a Verizon customer or even if you are thinking about changing to Verizon. While the customer service here is amazing and they help in offering replacement phones here if there is a problem, the only problem that I kind of have with this place is the expensive prices they have on their devices. But its still a very reliable phone company to go with if money isnt a factor for you.

One of the worst customer service experiences Ive had in recent memory. I wanted to buy my daughter a phone for her birthday. At a friends suggestion, we called and made an appointment at this store 2 days in advance. The guy who answered told us an employee named Shaun would take care of us, gave us Shauns mobile number, and instructed us to call or text a half hour before the appointment time to confirm we were on the way. The day of the appointment, a Saturday, I called Shaun, left a vm, and texted 30 minutes beforehand. No response. When we arrived, a bearded middle-aged man approached, abruptly announced we were 3rd in line, told us to look around while we waited, and retreated to a corner to watch football games on his phone with another bearded employee. Neither of them seemed interested in helping anyone. We waited more than an hour as the 3 other employees in the store served customers and the two bearded guys mostly watched their phones and avoided eye contact with anyone else. Eventually the game must have hit halftime because the two bearded guys drifted out from their corner and approached the two people ahead of us in line. They interrupted Shaun numerous times to ask about phones and coverage plans (apparently they didnt know anything about Verizon products) so Shaun was able to serve only one customer the entire time we were in the store. Finally, the second bearded guy, John, asked if he could help us. When we told him which plan we were on and which phone we wanted to buy, he told us he had it in stock but we should go to Best Buy where we could get it cheaper. We saw John leaving the parking lot before we did, so he clearly had somewhere else to be and simply wanted to be done with us. Mission accomplished. The cherry on top was finding out that Best Buy wanted $150 more for the same phone. Save your time, money and patience for a store and company that values you. This isnt it.

My husband has been coming to this location since they opened in the early 2000s and I switched over from the Harbison Sprint earlier this year. We have had consistent awesome service. Rob has helped us the past two times and he truly goes out of the way to fix whatever issue we are having in the quickest way possible and gave us suggestions to help us avoid the issue in the future. We happily drive the extra time to come here!

Aweful setup and not very easy to locate accessories and once you find them the selection is very limited....I was looking for a charging cord for my phone. No micro usbs anywhere to be seen I was searching the store for about 5minutes not once did an employee say hello or can I help you.

Verizon store is ok, I always have crazy issues with my device, got a new phone maybe a week ago, and the speaker is messed up!! So they do the best they can under the circumstances. Definitely getting better and better with customer service!! Cellphone are just frustrating 😋😆 But cant give it up!!!

This store is always busy with horrible customer service... managers think they are owners and show no respect to customers ... I bought a phone case it broke in 24 hrs they wouldn’t return it, took it to the next Verizon store and they exchanged it with no problems mind you the harbison location is where I bought it from ... all they want to do is sell you a phone build ur bill and get you out the store customer service is horrid

RUDE manager. Associate create a problem can we try to get a manager to help corrected he was rude . Set it was our problem for not knowing all the information when they put it in there and they would do nothing to help . They never offered anyway to come up with a solution for the prom they created . Ended up with a phone that I really didn’t want to pay more than I wanted to pay and you had no recourse action for either . They associate then made a mistake on which phone and then told me that if she give me the phone I wanted it would cost me an additional $50 for her mistakes . If it was me I would stay away from the incompetence of the store And when all this is said and done I probably will be dropping Verizon forever

Just was at this location. Lots of staff standing around but no one greeted me. When I finally just stood there for 5 minutes someone finally mumbled “Need help?” without even looking up from his phone and he continued to play on his phone while I explained the problem. Then he called to verify my authorized account holder and AFTER hanging up he told me to call my account holder back again to ask for some bs email saying the same thing he just asked. Very unprofessional and I hate to say it was because I was black and they assumed I was going to give them bad business but I will not be back at this location. I have done business here several times and bought my last 2 phones from here, but the employee John Swindler is the reason none of my family will be back. You are much better off going to the Lexington corporate store!

The customer service rep that waited on me was polite, but he was unable to help with either of the two things I went there for. He told me that I have to purchase the phone I want online (6s) and I have to call technical support to have them figure out why my account wont let me purchase the Smart Family service. I had already been on the phone with tech support for an extended period of time and they didnt correct the issue. Very dissapointing and frustrating. Back to being on hold.
Employees weren’t helpful.. had me call the Verizon 800 number and asked me to do it outside of the store. All I needed was to get a SIM card and it was basically a nightmare experience.

The wait is always ridiculous. Went in on a Saturday to upgrade, was told its not available me for another 14 days. This was after waiting nearly an hour and a half. Got a call that Monday from Verizon an upgrade was available theyd apply $30 towards the cost of the upgrade if done within the week. Another long wait asked if they were aware of customer service doing this? The woman at the door was so rude and unhelpful. Talked to other people during our conversation and then eventually turned her back to me mid conversation and walked away. Had I been upset or rude I could understand but I wasnt. I have never had a good experience here and will not be returning. There are plenty of other options. Only giving one star bc it doesnt get any worse
We wanted to adjust our plan, but were flabbergasted when we got the bill. Subsequent phone conversations explained the bill, but the $50.00 charge to change the plan is unreasonable for 10-year customers.

I upgraded to the iPhone 8 plus about a month ago. While the employees were friendly, I’m extremely disappointed in the products. I bought a tempered glass cover and otterbox to protect my new phone, but the front piece of the OB pulled the screen cover off when I tried to clean it. As I inspected the OB more, I found that the front part has adhesive showing on the inside and the clear part is gone. Just a word of advice: Don’t let the employees put ANYTHING on your phone where you can’t see it. You’re better off doing it yourself. Now, I have to spend over $50 just to get a new case and screen protector. Thanks, a lot, Verizon!

My Father, who is a senior citizen went down to activate his new phone. He didnt know the acct password. He called a family member who got on the pho ne with the Verizon employee. The employee was very rude and told her (family member) ..we like for customers to come in with all their info! It causes other customers to be held up and have a long waiting period! Very disappointed in the way they spoke in front of my Father.
