Dr. Jones is straightforward and honest. He doesn’t do extra exams like some clinics in town, but he also takes his time with you and follows up if you need changes made or are having issues. He’s busy, but if your willing to be flexible and be seen at either location, he can get you in fairly easily.

I brought my 11 year old granddaughter for her first eye exam. I specifically let the office manager and other staff know she had no experience with directions or prompts in an eye exam. We had a 4 pm appointment but the exam did not occur until 4:48. A customer waiting left because the office was running late. Dr. arrived with a brief but less than sincere apology for being late. His examination started with repeated question, whether my daughter could read the bottom line. If he wanted her to read the bottom line he might have directed her to read the bottom line. After she reply by I think so with impatience he said to. I personally have had many eyes examined. I was not aware that there was no Q on the exam chart. After she stated she saw a Q twice, the doctor in a short impatient of way, said there never is a Q on the eye exam chart. After we left the building my daughter wondered if she had failed the eye exam and wondered why was the Doctor was so mean. I agreed with her. I called the next morning to express my concerns and ask the doctor or office manager to call. Neither has. I have removed name and other family members from the reoccurring reminder that it was time for the next annual review. I would not recommend any parent or grandparent bright their children to Dr. Jones for a first exam. Thank you.

I love going to Fairview Eyecare. The staff are all really friendly and knowledgeable about the tests that you take. I recommend going to this facility 100 %.

I stopped by and they worked me in. Had to wait a little while but really appreciated the assistance and kind manner shown by the staff.

Today, 4/10/21, I had an eye exam at 1130am. I checked in at 1115 am. Was told to wait inside Eye Mart and they would come and get me. At 1210 pm I went in to find out what was going on. I was told that Dr Jones was running late and it’d be a “few more minutes”. When I pressed what a “few more minutes” was, I was told it’d be 30 more minutes. No sorry for your inconvenience, no coming out to tell me what was happening and what can we do to to help, reschedule, etc? Obviously they could careless if you’re inconvenienced. I will NEVER darken their door again. Eye Mart was embarrassed with their business conduct. They told me I was not the first to experience this shoddy service. I will bring my eye exam script to Eye Mart from a customer conscious vision care.

There was quite a wait but the doctor was awesome and took his time with me and my questions. I am definitely a returning customer.

The staff were very helpful. Dr. Jones is very through and makes it very easy. My very first time getting a eye exam. I would definitely say Yes to Fairview Eyecare.

I have been going to Dr. Jones for many years! Yesterday, I had a eyeemergency. He got me right in and diagnosed the problem immediately! It was a very serious condition! I cant say enough about the professionalism, knowledge and the compassionate care that was provided to me! My eye is healing and should be good to go! Thank you to Dr. Jones and his staff. I HIGHLY recommend him!!!!

Wish I could leave 10 stars! Dr. Jones knows exactly what my eyes need before I do. He is thorough, an educator of eye health and a compassionate health care care provider.

Everyone was very nice and friendly. Have good customer service! 🤗 I really like the Optima retina procedure. It helps Dr Jones to see so many things and detect problems ahead of time with your eyes. What modern technology can do now. It is so amazing! Thank You! Keep up the good work!

This was my first visit to Fairview Eyecare. The office and staff are very friendly and helpful. Im terrible with names, but the woman that handles everything up front is absolutely wonderful!Dr. Jones is very efficient, walked me through the new technology they have that you can choose rather than have your eyes dilated and answered every question without making me feel like I was being a bother. My exam included both glasses and fitting for contacts. So far, these new contacts are amazing. This is the first time I have found my prescription (a + prescription) in stock and not have to be ordered. I plan on being a return patient and would recommend Fairview Eyecare!

I always receive great eye care from Dr. Jones at Fairview Eyecare. Thorough, professional exam with good results for my glasses. He is very good to discuss all aspects of what is going on with my vision. Chris, the office manager is good to deal with, has a can - do attitude. Office is very convenient to get to and also in proximity to the store where I purchase my glasses.

Everyone was incredibly friendly, they got me in and out even though I came in right before they closed they didn’t turn me away. I will actually be going back very soon to adjust my rx. With my new glasses I seem to have lost all of my far vision.

Well, I gave 3 stars, because my first appointment was pretty good. The staff was friendly and I was in and out pretty quick. However, I had to come back the following week for a quick contact fitting and that appointment, I would give 0 stars. I waited for over 1 hour and 10 minutes for a contact fitting. My prescription was already set. The front desk person was completely apathetic as was the doctor. I was extremely late getting back to work. The only explanation I got was... he gets behind. You should have made your appointment at 9am. You would have been out of here quick. I was going to take my husband and my daughter there because both need a new eye doctor... I guess we will go somewhere else.

Exam was quick and easy, staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely going here again for future eye exams

We have been using Dr. Jones for years, and I recommend him and his staff to anyone in the Columbia area who needs eye care. He is very professional and it is easy to get an appointment at his office. My 4 kids love him too, and he has taken good care of them ever since he opened.

I was very pleased with all the staff. Becca & Chris did a great job. Dr. Jones was great as well answering all my concerns. They were all very courteous and professional.

Had an exam when traveling through and the prescription they gave is extremely off. I had 2 pairs of glasses made there and cant see out of them. They refuse to due anything unless I drive the 2 1/2 hours back there to have them reexamined. I have a correct script to show how off they were and they still refuse anything but a reexam. Dont waste your money here!

Dr. Jones is a complete professional. Each checkup is done with care, concern, and competence. I trust his opinion, and due to his expertise he discovered I had a torn retina, which if not detected could have meant a loss of eyesight. Columbia, Mo is lucky to have Dr. Jones.

Dr Jones is great!!!! He was the first eye doctor that had me try multiple types and brands of contacts to make sure my vision was a good as possible which is really important to me since I have partial vision loss in one eye. Even after five years he still makes sure I have the right prescription and congfiguration for me. I highly recommend him.

I give the staff a 5 star, but unfortunately, Dr. Jones gets a 2 star. He is personable, BUT, two problems. OVER-PRESCRIBED the glasses RX. He has a new retinal scanner that he hasnt been properly trained to use. In TWO of my family members created a SCARE and told had retinal tears and holes. Sent to retinal specialist (MORE $$ and TIME). In both cases, no problems at all. We are not going back.

I had never been to an eye doctor before and had no idea what to expect. Dr.Jones was amazing! He was kind courteous and delightfully funny. I will not only be coming back, but I am also taking my children to see Dr.Jones!

Dr. Jones is great however, I waited an hour past my appointment time until I was seen, and upon arrival I was never made aware how behind they were until other patients began to complain.

Dr. Jones should not make unsolicited comments about political issues while dealing with clients. Otherwise, I was pleased with his services.

I recommend Dr. Jones to friends and family. Dr. Jones has been my optometrist since his office opened and I have never had an issue. Dr. Jones is friendly, courteous, and answers my questions regarding eye care.
