Not bad place for 34 reset. Showers arent very nice but get the job done. Restaurant was good. Food was definitely delicious. Lots beer on tap. Need more free parking to much paid. Bowling and arcade are fun.

It is a good place to hang out if you have a bit of time on your hands. They have plenty of refreshments and chips. There is a bowling alley to kill some time while you wait for a load or whatever. I had a good time here. I hope I can stop off here again soon.

Great concept. New, pretty clean for a truck stop. Unique QSL restaurant with adjacent bowling alley. Not much to complain about. Much to appreciate.

Someone needs to address parking issues. Too many local drivers parking here and going home, especially on the weekend. Road drivers forced to pay to park. TA across town is the same way. Really nice Truck stop, just need to address this issue.

This Petro did really bad job of ensuring that had a parking space that we reserved by paying 20$ for online.we arrived last night at 0930pm reserved parking was full.was told by employees there that had to wait until security came in at 11 pm.say what!? I asked them if get here at 7 pm and have say 6 am appt delivery how is that supposed to work if cant get my spot apoun arrival.little thing called required 10 he dot break have to take.

Not a lot of free parking, the parking that there is a lot of drivers Park here and go home on the weekends the restrooms are filthy if youre going to sit down on the toilet you better study yourself you may fall over they feel like theyre going to fall off the floor cashier at the store was very nice and helpful another one was too busy on their phone to answer a question told me to hold on, did not eat in the restaurant but from what Ive can tell from drivers the food is good, I did laundry on the machines its one price when you use your card and swipe it its another price it just seems like truck stops are not like they were years ago.

What a great truck stop. Its like a Chuck-E-Cheese for truck drivers. Has plenty of parking, a good restaurant, tons of video games, and it even has a bowling alley. Thats right, a truck stop with a bowling alley. And while I I dont necessarily agree with it, if youre doing a 34-hour reset, they even have a bar.

Time to do my 34!!...cant ask for better timing to be in Columbia SC!On a Saturday when the Gamecocks are playing football season...this truck stop turned into a pretty darn place to be.With all of the troopers out front directing traffic keeping the football fans out actually brought more in...made for good people watching too!Theres a fair enough amount of parking with a few reserved....talking to the bar tender,the shop is pretty weak though.This is my second time staying overnight and even though is by the highway its pretty dang quiet at night.The place is really clean and the staff is always helpful and kind.Theres a bowling alley here too along with a big game room and big screen tvs.I always have this place on my mind when I cone to this past of SC.Ill be back!

Great name restaurant bad greeting hostess. Had to wait for seat, from a girl with a not so friendly attitude. Asked for management to find out why Im waiting for a table after counting at least 8 tables or more if you split open a couple medium tables where opened and her response, there not cleaned, not extremely busy at all for a Friday evening. Hate to stop when it is busy. Server I had was awesome and friendly. Hope she is the hostess when it is busy.

Limited parking, great selection of items, Starbucks is a definite plus, shower kinda old but ok, could be cleaner, ok customer service, could be a little more friendlier, and why is the massage chairs Always so plubic??? I mean when getting a massage one would desire more privacy to enjoy it, would definitely make more money if they were more secluded.

Great place. Laundry, showers ($14.50 if you have no credits), convenience store, Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant, massage chairs, drivers lounge, fitness rooms, truck shop, 100+ parking spots.

This place is an amazing portal to another dimension, with everything you could possibly need.

Beautiful Newer Facility...Would have give full ☆s, however, my shower room wasnt cleaned properly. There was still a used bar of soap in the shower and the wrapper was next to the garbage can, which mean, the Porters are doing a Half@$$ job! I uses the room dispite my findings because it would have taken taken all my break time to go report it and get another room assigned. Eveything else was very nice.

This location is new to me, but I was delightfully surprised by the modern design. A truck stop with both a bar and bowling alley to compliment the restaurant.

The restaurant cooked my grilled chicken sandwich on a dirty grill. I was able to tell by the taste and smell. I took one bite and had to spit it out. Showers were not clean. Mold on the shower floor and toiler was dirty. Someone did come to clean the shower but she showed poor cleaning techniques. She cleaned underneath the seat before the suface of the seat without rinsing or even folding the towel. Im sure that toilet seat is full of nasty germs.

Wanted to make this review about Michelle. I came in for a blown bag on my 680. Pulled up and she got my write-up done right away, I saw there were other trucks in so I knew there was a wait(nothing new). I went and parked, took a nap waiting and was woken up by a very nice Good morning! Which is something you dont ever get. The team that night worked very hard to get my truck done. Would definitely stand by the counter while she looks for things on the back desk again...I mean, come back for amazing service again!

4 plus hours to get the shop to change a trailer tire for the spare. A 15 min job. Avoid this petro shop if you value your time.

If your a driver forget this showering here bc there shower arent cleaned properly at all got a show with a ditry towel on the down n a dirty wet washcloth on the shower head n they act like it no big deal we drivers deserve better then that

This must be the worst truck shop in USA, 9 hours waiting to change a tire (still waiting), another time the truck breaks down 15 feet outside the shop doors and the mechanic cant give me service because the truck was outside the shop and cant send road service because the truck is in the facilities.

This review is for shop....1 truck in bay 6 empty bays ...needed pm service and they say 3 h wait....why??seems like mechanics dont make money of pms and refuse bussiness..this was friday 19th 2 pm...

My complaint goes to the Shop/ Maintenance Dept. pretty sad when your service desk (female) has an attitude from the get go. First of she comes in on her shift doesn’t even do her rounds of 5 W’s. So if a driver comes in and questions her about their truck, her response of nasty attitude of IDK 😐 is unacceptable since she sat behind the desk playing with her cell phone. Pretty sad when I the driver have to do their job and make phone calls and communicate issues about problems with my truck so that I can get fixed and be on my merry way! They seriously lack communication problems trying to get warranty work done. Your better off at the dealership. Now I’m stuck camping in inside their bay till tomorrow for a certified trained technician comes in the morning to finish and complete the warranty repair.

Bathrooms are clean. Not a lot going on in the wee hours of a Sunday morning. Shop looked wide open but probably about time for a shift change so there ya go. Broken glass in parking lot in back row that nobody bothered to clean up. Sell more tires that way Id imagine.

I arrived here at 1:45 PM to have a blown trailer tire replaced they took down all my information down and told me they would call me its 9:31PM and Im still waiting the mechanic coming back from a road call went under the trailer to lift it up and the service writer comes out and says he needs the mechanic to stay behind the counter while he leaves for an important minute he comes back 31 minutes later with his lunch unbelievable un flipping believableNine plus hours for a tire to be replaced

My biggest favorite place!! Love ribs, bars, bowling, games! Fun no bored! I miss that place since !!! Last time 2019 .. I hope back there again soon don’t know when!! Plus beers n whiskey!!!!

Good part: Its clean and well lit. Bad part: Everything else. Half the lot is now paid parking. Locals and dropped trailers take the free spots and all the curbs. Employees are interested in everything except you. Restaurant is way beyond overpriced and hours are too short. Service is lousy. I keep giving them chances and I dont know why. Im done. Every Petro and TA has gone to the dogs. This is probably the newest one in the country and it didnt take long to go downhill.

Extremely impressed by this truck stop!! We had not been to Petro before. The layout and amenities were fantastic! They have everything a traveler could want or need! Even a barber shop! The floors throughout shined and looked like you could eat off from them! Wish they were more prevalent as frequent travelers!

Great petrol.

Its a nice facility. Laundry is $3.00 machine, more than Loves, Pilot / Flying J. As with all Petros the inventory is marked up considerably higher than a conventional store. The restaurant is great, but doesnt open until 10 AM for breakfast.

Parked in reserved section, wasnt bothered about not paying. The truck stop is excellent. 5/5

The store is amazing, but the TRUCK SHOP is another story. 2 guys working. Said they need 2 hrs for each pm.. no one was working. All standing inside talking to each other looking like the need their afternoon nap. It’s 9pm also. The reception lady allowed me to park on the side since parking was full and only reserved spots left. Called me in dock at 1:38, didn’t get started until 7:30 in the morning! All for a tire repair. Also when I went to check on progress, the guy was sleeping at front desk. Not impressed at all.

Great place eating a steak having a beer

Very nice and clean. The bowling lanes and gameroom is full of local youth on the weekend.They have armed security I guess to keep them in line. Ill just hang in the drivers lounge where I feel safe. Sorry but large numbers of minority youths is a recipe for trouble.

Went here to get 2 new steer tires and a 3 axle alignment. Checked in and was in a bay fairly quickly. Was informed that they didnt have a alignment tech on duty. The 2 tire techs had the old steers off and put the new ones on. It wasnt until after the job was 3/4 done that they informed me that the balancer was down. Its sad to see these truck stops and shops going downhill at a rapid pace.

The main store is awesome, but that being said do not stop if you need any kind of service done... I have been here for 13 hours waiting to get two fuel filters changed and 3 super single tires... Thats it well first off for starters the first lady who checked me in only gave me a quote which she didnt even tell me the price of it she just checked the stock and then after sitting here for 9 hours they finally get around to me and find they only had one of the two filters and then at that time I find out the lady didnt even put my order in for the tires so the new guy on shift told me the guy coming in at midnight would go first thing when he got here to get my stuff needed from the other store in Columbia well at 1:15 am the damn tech hadnt even left to go get it yet and so here I sit at 1:27am still waiting for something that should have taken only about 2 hours max, and yes I get it they had people in front of me but they only had 3 guys in front of me so someone please explain what the ever loving hell they were doing for 13 hours!!!!

We really enjoyed this Petro. It is really nice to be able to enjoy and have some fun after being on the road for long periods. The food was good and the bowling was fun and it’s good exercise! Nice showers too. Thanks Petro for adding a little fun to some truckers life out here on the road.

Great diesel... always drive all the way here for mine instead of other stations. Super clean gas station, having a Starbucks right there is a nice addition.

Shop is extremely slow. Seems like they have e no idea what they are doing. Was told 2 hrs for PM. Been waiting now 4 hrs. Excuses have been had to go to part store 3 different times. one for each filter and then the oil they ran out of. How is that even possible. Manager no existan .

Stayed the night, food was good and plenty to do. Full arcade and bowling. More truck stop need things to do like this. Very clean and friendly fun staff.

Truck parking is kinda messed up but this is not your regular petro. The showers are clean and good water pressure. The restraunt is awesome and the pizza is one of the best I had. There is a bowling alley a bar a huge game room lots to look at.

Nice truck stop. Very clean inside and out. Was not overly busy being a holiday weekend so parking was plenty. Not your average restaurant, food was very good. Had a small mix up at first and a new waitress. She did great. Had a conversation with the manager and food was fixed properly after that. They have a full size bowling alley and arcade. A full bar for those on a long stop. Overall a nice place for some relaxation and some fun. All staff were willing to help.

This is one GREAT bowling alley! Our family enjoyed bowling and eating wings as well as the broad variety of arcade games! The management is awesome! If you ask to explore the virtual reality rooms, they will let you sample the games in there for free. A great place to have a party!

Awesome place. Kinda far to walk from all the available parking including the paid. But well worth it. The dinner is great.

I would give zero stars if possible!!! Petro is good. However if youre going to put a bowling alley in, perhaps you should reserve 2-4 lanes for the truck drivers. I mean it is a truck stop. Very clean, nice truck stop petro /Ta gives me the best discounted fuel prices over other truck stops.. I strongly disagree with all the reserved parking... I purchase $30,000 a year in fuel shouldnt have to pay to park..

Been waiting for a tire repair. Was told 1hr and 45 min.Ive literally been parked outside the shop and 2 out of the 6 bays are occupied..a shop this big but at 1pm in the after noon had maybe 2 mechanics on duty or they really dont know what they are doing. I will update as soon as I leave....time in 1131... Time out....not sure yet.its 1:28 pm.....well just checked in. And the two techs are half way through an oil change and I should be the next one in. I called them they didnt call me for an update...time is 134. 2hrs 12min into wait. Continued......its now 2:27pm.....and still have not been worked on.....just pulled into Bay time 3:13pm..will let you know when Im finished.....

Truck employees dont even know how to work on trucks. Never have experienced technicians. No motivation to work. inexperienced technician took over a hour to change filters on truck. second technician didnt know how to use a torque wrench. didnt have parts, had to go get parts. should let customer know prior to starting job if parts are not on hand.

Large clean very well lighted parking lot, wide spaces for trucks. Restaurant was a Quaker Steak and Lube, their prices were kind of on the high side in my opinion. Theres also a bowling alley attached to the restaurant, both the bowling alley and the restaurant seemed very popular with the locals.

Really nice Petro. Shower was more clean than other Petros/TA Ive been in. Staff was nice and eager to serve ( it was late-night, too!)

Although the store and its amenities are nice, however, the restaurant needs a little to be. Desired. I ordered fish and chips for 11.90 something, what I got was deep fried fish sticks, fries and coleslaw, dont know why they even have photos on the menu,

I arrived last night and thought it was nice with the restaurant and Starbucks in house. I am not a fan of the blind side backing- in style rows. This morning at 5 am, I was drinking coffee watching TV in the break room. There was one other person. Turned it out it was cleaning staff. I must have interrupted her because she turned on the light, radioed for security to come. I had no idea why, but five minutes later a security guard is asking me am I a driver. Then ask for my CDL to verify. This is no way to treat a customer . I can overhear this same cleaning lady telling drama filled hood stories to her co worker right now.

Absolutely love this place, as a truck driver you cant ask for a better truck stop, plenty of parking, its nice and quiet here, no bums or lizards banging on your doors and clean restrooms and showers. And the Quaker steak and lube has the best food in a 1 mile radius and I live just down the street so I know lol. Stay here any time and you wont be disappointed, the college girls provide some great scenery and conversations 😉

Very nice truck stop. Not very busy and feels more like a fun family place than a truck stop. They have a Starbucks and a restaurant, Quaker Steak and Lube that the kids love! As a truckers wife I’ve been to quite a few truck stops and this one is my favorite so far.

Beginning a relationship with the different businesses located here is beneficial for our students/residents. I am the property manager of The Southern @ 1051 and am pleased to say I have enjoyed my visits there or the last week. I look forward to building a lasting foundation for the future ahead.

By far the best travel plaza I even stopped by in 10yrs of OTR driving. The best feature to me as a truck driver, is that it doesnt have the feel of a truck stop. Great family atmosphere, kids will definitively the the experience.

Wont let me give zero stars stay away from the shop 7.5 hours waiting for a PM and tech....hahaha cant do it because they dont have a filter wrench for Cat motors so I give him mine still cant do it because dont have a wrench big enough to fit oil drain plug my 9 year old grandson has more tools than this tech. Just stay away!!!!!

Love going here (as far as truck stop restaurants)!!! One of the best Quaker Steak & Lubes!!!! And absolutely love the bowling alley here.Now, the fuel desk personnel are fair (depends on the shift....graveyard is the worst!!!!!)and the shop personnel are the same way.

Awsome place.... Semi parking in a good sized lot.... The food is awsome with affordable prices.... Love that they have games and a bowling alley but best of all there is a bar.... The decor is also awsome.... Thank you for this place

The place its self was awesome. The only thing is that the service at Quaker steak and lube definitely needs improvement in service. Waited 20 min for just a drink and I had to get up and get it myself. Waitress was in the backroom more than waiting on customer.

This is an awesome truck stop. It has everything that a trucker or any one who is traveling would need. There is a Starbucks and a bowling alley. The Quaker steak and lube restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

This place is an excellent place to park. They have fuel, food, and fun. Awesome wings, steaks, burgers (Quaker Steak and Lube), bowling, arcade games, and even spirits if you are so inclined. Full size Starbucks. They have a fitness room, tv room, plenty of laundry. This is a prototype that opened March, 2017. The employees are so nice. They gave me a full tour. They told me they would open the restaurant for breakfast if they would get more requests. They had tried but not enough for them to be open. They have an expedite fuel program. 60 gallons in five days for a shower. Just have to take your fuel receipts to the desk with your ultra one expedite card. Plenty of truck and expedite parking. Love this place. I hope they build more for the 21st century diver in mind. I loved that I didnt have to travel back in time at a truck stop.
