I’ve been having they Greek Salads for almost 5 years. My mom recently moved here from PR and had yet to find a place she liked. After bringing her here one day for lunch, she was in love. The atmosphere made her feel like home. The people that come here are loyal locals and after enjoying their food you’ll get why. It’s such a nice and wholesome welcoming spot. There’s a side of the store with free books. And their coconut cake is amazing!

I don’t get it. I know people who think this place is great. I’ve never once actually liked the food I’ve gotten and I’ve ordered many things over the past two or three years. Additionally, this place is really slow and disorganized about takeout orders. You have to order far in advance and check you have the right order because they will leave things out. (And of course there’s no easy way to get the menu online and no way to order online.) The fresh fruit has always commingled too long and the acid ruins some of the fruit. The chicken salad is the most mundane pickle spread you can imagine. Bread is very meh. Not a single thing to write home about. One of the last things I ordered was a vegetable soup that was clearly just a bunch of random stuff thrown into a pot (kinda like a gumbo, not so much soup) without regard to timing the cooking of vegetables with different textures so some things were over cooked and some under cooked. Do yourself a favor and go to Crave where they put some actual thought into the food. If you want Greek salad, check out Taziki’s.

The BEST Reuben in Columbia, SC!!! I think it is the cucumber salad for me. If youve never tried it you are truly missing out. I cant forget about the friendly staff. 😍

Amazing. I had their food at an event once and decided to have them cater an event at my job. Everything that was ordered was amazing. They are a tad bit pricey and we did have it delivered but its worth every cent. Dont be fooled by the looks of the building, these people throw down in the kitchen! They guy who delivered the food was super sweet. He forgot a dish and offered to go back and get it or comp us. He was the same guy that greets you and seems to run the joint as he was most knowledgeable and working the hardest; so maybe a manager? Although i cant imagine why a manager would make deliveries. ANYWAY, A++++ and definitely will be returning. One highly satisfied customer here.

An old gas station turn general store with a exceptional deli. I love the Greek Turkey sandwich and my kid loves the grilled cheese and sweet tea.

Food was great. Had the Greek Turkey sandwich which was really good. Reasonable pricing. The store is old and it looks it, but it doesnt take away from the quality.Reminds you of a country bait and takle shop.

Spent 30+ dollars on breakfast to go and groceries, only to be treated like I had the plague by short guy. Love the food but will not return for a while.

I have been coming to the store for over 17 years because I absolutely loved the food and the quality. But I cannot overlook the entitlement that they feel about Old school and mom and pop store. Over the years there has been several incidents that I have overlooked. The 1st was many years ago an elderly lady was sitting at the bar eating lunch with friends as I was placing my order of what I wantand I didnt want on my sandwich she then looked at me and looked at the chef and said I remember years ago this would not have been tolerated, But I overlooked it because she was elderly. The 2nd incident I was ordering the Salad and the chef proceeded to rake in a plate all of the lettuce and tomatoes that was dropped on the counter where he prepares the food into a plate with the other lettuce and tomatoes and so forth in the plate And then added the other ingredients and toppings for this Salad and gave it to me I then said to him that I did not want that, that I wanted a freshly made salad, he then said to me is all the same its still good. I then talk to the owner about it she apologize and I said that I did not want him to make my food anymore well needless to say that didnt happen. The 3rd incident I was there with some friends ordering several things when the owner looked at 1 of the plates and said that was too much meat and proceeded to take her hands and start taking some of the meat out. I then stated that I thought that that was improper that we would have paid for the extra meat and that she should have just spoken to the chef afterwards. The 4th incident which is the last I call den and placed an order over the phone I then came in to pick it up Where it was on a table with other bags with all the names on it I picked up my bag with my name on it after getting to my destination on the Lake in the water I then realize that I did not have my sandwiches, So I called her to let her know that I did not get my sandwiches and that I would be there later in the week to get them, Something in her voice didnt sound right so I called her back and asked her was that OK and she said yes but theyre not gonna be for free its not my problem that you left your sandwiches. I just laughed and said I picked up the bag with my name on it she then said to me well you have ordered like this a lot of times and so you should have known that you did not have enough boxes so I would think that you would have said to yourself Im an idiot I left my other bag. I didnt told her that she was either selfish greedy or stingy or just dont know any better to say any of this to me for the amount of business that I have bought to her and every time I come I spin $30 or more with her. She didnt said theres nothing that I can do I can probably give you a discount but I dont feel that its my responsibility and you should take partially of the blame. And told me that I should feel like an idiot for leaving my bag because I should have known better that it was not all of the order. No other business does this or gets away with this. TBC... Please no adult bullies this is the matter of business and right and wrong!!

Small menu but very good food

Our firm placed an order for pick up over the phone...TWO HOURS later our runner is still sitting there waiting for the orders. On top of that, they messed up one of the orders and then accused our runner of stealing two of the orders when they couldnt find them?!? Never again will we order from here. Very disappointed!!
