Great customer service. Not busy.

Never heard of this brand before. As I was at the mall today waiting to enter a store right next to Aveda, a representative came to me very rude to inform me that I couldn’t stay in front of their store. Not sure if it was because I had working clothes on or what. Just felt it was unnecessary and wanted to expose here the situation. Hope she doesn’t treat other people the same way.

A nice store with helpful staff that will listen to your needs and wont force a sale on you. (Unlike many comparable stores!)Big sales around the holidays of course, so make sure you keep that in mind! Perfect for those loved ones that are hard to shop for and care about what they put on their body!

I have been a very loyal customer of Aveda products and I have always been satisfied with the help I received in all stores. Today I felt like I was a burden to salesperson. When I asked about a fairly new product and it’s purpose vs. another product I am currently using. I received a really short answer. I also observed her communication (body language, tone of voice) with another shopper and I was not treated the same. I usually do not write reviews but I feel that this store should do some in-servicing on cultural diversity and customer service. With my husband being prior military, I have traveled quite a bit and recognize when others are not treated equally.

I never felt welcomed whenever I go there. In fact, more like I am bothering them. I used to get facial here. When I was paying for it upfront, I was told it doesnt expire. One day, she told me “we dont do it any more”. I asked “what do you mean?” No explanation she just repeated the same words. It’s not like they ran outta products. Just decided to stop doing it? I was upset about it cuz i wasted money but I am partially glad I dont have to go back there again.

I love the folks at the Aveda store at Columbia Mall! They are always very professional and knowledgable about their products and make me feel welcome in their store, no matter how busy they are. Rebecca J. has helped me many times and she is especially welcoming and friendly, even on phone orders. I always look forward to a good experience at the Aveda store at the Mall in Columbia, MD!
