The food was amazing! The service was awesome. The only reason I didnt give this restaurant 5 stars was because it lacked atmosphere and the servers were required to where masks which made it very difficult to understand what they were saying.
Honestly one of the few Mongolian restaurants I have actually enjoyed. Staff come around frequently refilling drinks, very polite. Food was cooked perfectly. I have no issues recommending this venue for dinner.
Coming from a different state, this place threw me off. I got a dish that let me pick out my own veggies and meat. Well they hand you a bowl for your meat and veggies and it seemed so small I was a bit thrown by the price. (Im used to putting the starch in the bowl before cooking) Well once they cook it and put it on top of your choice of noodles or rice it ended up being SO much food. It tasted amazing!!!! I had tons of left overs!! Totally worth coming here. I will definitely return.I cannot speak for the sushi because I dont eat that, but there was a LOT of sushi options by looking at their menu.
This was my first time at a Mongolian grill so I was a bit confused on how it worked but the waitress explained everything. They bring you a paper and you mark the grain that you want. I believe the options were brown rice, chicken fried rice, and lo mein. I chose lo mein. Then they bring you a bowl that you take up to the buffet style grill and you will choose a protein. By protein they mean meat and since I dont eat meat I skipped this step. I did glance over the meat and its just chopped chicken and beef and I dont remember if there was other meat, but maybe shrimp. Then you will choose whatever veggies you want. There was peppers, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, pineapple 🍍 sprouts, black beans, corn, and other things that I cant quite remember, then you pick your sauce and put it in a little cup and you put your bowl, sauce, and ticket on the counter and the really attractive chef stands back there and makes magic on the grill. When its done the waitress will bring it to you. I also ordered some veggie roll sushi to go with my meal and it was pretty good.

Just don’t. For the level of service you receive and the quality of food you get it should be half the price. Food is mediocre at best. Service is a 1.5 out of 10. More than $60 for two adults and a child with those things taken into account makes this a no go in the future.
Food is really good.Only complaint is could do with some upgrading. New seats and tables. Also always seems to be a fly or two bugging me there.Still a great place to go overall.
The food was absolutely amazing and the people were so nice I would definitely recommend to anybody that is in the area if you enjoy hibachi to definitely hit this place up. I love hibachi and egg fried rice so this is right up my alley. Would definitely recommend to anyone and whole families because this place is amazing
Dark atmosphere and lack of organization was disappointing. Not that the food is taste bad. The Host was friendly but I didnt like b rated movie backdoor club vibe. 😒 Definitely not what I expected..

My wife and I found this restaurant while in Columbia,Tn. Walking in we were immediately greeted and seated. We both got the large bowl. We walked up to the bar and noticed a large selection of meats,vegetables,spices, and sauces available. After your selections, they cook and bring your food to your table. Your food is served hot and fresh. We had an awesome server. He made sure we had drink and even offered a to go drink. We highly recommend this restaurant.
This place is great, went here for lunch several times when I was in town for work. Sit down quality food, yet you can still get in and out quite quickly. I especially liked the noodles they had

My wife and I came here for an early dinner! It was our 1st time here but definitely not our last! Very good food... everything we got was fresh and hot.. the sushi was the best we had! The staff was perfect and there to help! We were there to celebrate my birthday which we told that to them before we left and they surprised me with an ice cream dessert! My wife and I will definitely be back! You all made our night perfect! Thank you

I really like this spot for Columbia. They have definitely grown a lot since they first opened. This is kind of a staple for my friends and I. They have lunch or dinner bowls where you pick white rice, fried rice, or low mein, (or a combo, or even none if you cant eat them, we have a friend with a TON of allergies that occasionally goes, and this spot is perfect for her), and then you can pick your specific meats, veggies, and sauces in the quantity you would like, so its really fun to kind of play with the ingredients and spices to figure out what suits you best. Whenever I have a friend come into town we head here. 10/10 would recommend.Their sushi is pretty nice, you can get this sushi combo at lunch and it is either 2 whole rolls or 3 whole rolls for a much cheaper price. I personally have used this option to try a few rolls that I was previously unfamiliar with.Overall, the atmosphere is pretty nice, and I will continue to return. There are still a few things on the menu I cant wait to try!
Amazing food and equally great customer experience! Building your own hibachi bowl is very fun, and gets you involved! They have a menu with pre-designated meals, but I will always go with the build a bowl! The sushi is pretty great too!

According to the reviews here this place was supposed to be the bees knees,, sadly it wasnt. I ordered two different fried rices, steamed dumplings, and fried dumplings. The dumplings were ok, but the fried rice was a crime. Citizens of Columbia you are being duped. This rice has no vegetables, no egg, and hardly any flavor. Thankfully it was edible, so I decided to refry the rice with scrambled eggs, carrots, ginger, garlic, and onions. It worked out well, but the price point for these dishes at this restaurant is pure robbery and my fellow residents of Columbia work to hard to be served such a lackluster version of an American favorite.
This place was very surprising. I went in thinking I would get the same old stuff out of the same old box. But everything was fantastic. The tempura chicken sushi was extremely delicious as well as the Tennessee roll. The hibachi chicken tasted better than many traditional hibachi places I have been. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. The rice and chicken were cooked perfectly. The teriyaki and yum yum sauce just ripped off a delicious meal. All of that and soup for less than $20. I will be back to this place soon.

Ok first off I was very skeptical when I first got here I thought it was a hibachi,This is a Mongolian bbq restraunt not a dinner and show hibachi... The prices reflect that.This is more like a donduri restraint beef bowl in Japan.We ait down ane where kinda confused at first but once I asked the waiter he said what to do.So you choose 2 sizes normal and large for dinner or you order your normal hibachi stuff which is cooked in the back and brought to you.Once you get your bowl you do the normal Mongolian thing and fill it as much as you can and give it took the cook once you picked your sauce.Then they bring the food to your table.The meat and veg option are good for columbia and the marinded Korean pork was really good.Be open minded when you try it

Very clean, decently priced with friendly service but our waitress hovered. It was quite frustrating having to stop every few bites as she would ask us each individually if our food was alright and if we wanted refills. The ‘House Salad’ was a bowl of lettuce with no dressing options. Good place but needs to work on a few things.

Delicious rolls oh my gosh!! I drove an hour just to come back a second time for more🙌🏼 My only complaint is they seem to sit people in booths by eachother. Id appreciate some more distancing considering Im already rolling the dice a bit by eating out.

One of the better places I have has sushi. Not very busy,not sure if its because of covid or its not liked. I would go back for the yum yum roll for sure.
First time we went and got seated fast. The food came out fast. The only problem we had was my husband got 12pc shami and I dont think he even got 12 pieces plus all the fish on his plate looked dry, colorless, and not fresh. Other then that the rest of the food was fine. But we will not be back. My husband food was the most expensive and was awful.
I appreciate the build your own bowl deal, so I can load up on the meat and veggies I want. They also offer about 12 different sauces you can cook your stir fry in as well as the choice between rice, fried rice, lo mein or udon noodles (though they were out of udon when I was there last). I got the regular but will probably be getting the large from now on and doing a better job of piling up my bowl beforehand. Still the portion size is great for the price. I’d much rather have a more affordable hibachi option than tremendously too much food. I will have to agree with a previous review that the miso soup leaves a lot to be desired. Everything else tasted great and I’ll definitely be going back to try more combinations.

Went here yesterday. Didnt know this one was in Columbia... so happy I found it! I love a good hibachi grill. But I hate being crowded around a table with people I dont know. Blame my social anxiety for that. None the less I still love Japanese and Chinese food! Even if it is Americanized... they always have a great selection for vegetarians at these places. Some more than others... but this place. Oh! You still get to watch them cook but you are seated at your own table.. not all crowded in... loved the service here and will return to try their sushi/sashimi menu soon!

Ill eat anything so idk how much merit they is to my review.... the green stuff made my nose run..... and..... chopsticks aint my friend... and ... the bowl of soup had two noodles and two mushrooms.... I dont know what to think of that.... I mean.... I didnt order soup but....lawd... I enjoyed it...

We did the create your own bowl and it was amazing since you get to pick everything you like and able to taste the many different sauces. We also ordered the Rock N Roll roll and it is one of my favorites! The service and servers were outstanding and the place is super nice and clean!

I e been here several times and it has been good each time. Once my steak was a bit overdone but the next ti e it was perfect. I dont think the waiter asked how I wanted it the first time. Ive also had fantastic sushi here. The prices are very affordable. I have had better sushi and hibachi but also paid a whole lot more for it. This is a nice addition to Columbia for a quick and reasonably priced meal.

Pick whatever you like as long as it fits into your bowl. Pick from a variety of sauces. Watch as your meal is prepared or be seated and wait for your freshly made dish to be brought to your table. Service was prompt and attentive. I will be back to visit this establishment again!
This is my son and Is favorite place to eat! You can order a bowl and fill it with as much meat, veggies, seasonings and sauces as itll hold! My son and I like to have a competition to see who can fit the most stuff inside of their bowl without spilling any haha! Hands down best new restaurant in Columbia. Absolutely. Love it.

Best chinese food ever!
The sushi was kind of warm for some reason which made me nervous to eat it. Instead of having a flat fee and getting all-you-can-eat, its either $9 or $11 for a bowl of Mongolian bbq. It was just so-so.But the worst part was that they played the same 3 Taylor Swift songs on repeat. Sometimes the same song would repeat again, which leads me to believe they have a 3-track playlist of the most overplayed Swift songs. Theres no real identity to the restaurant with this strange mix of styles, music, and food.

Its a decent place to go at lunch when a bowl of the ingredients you pick out are $8.95 but after lunch time that price jumps to $10.95 plus drink. That is just too high for what you are getting in my humble opinion.
