I would definitely recommend this place...although I only had one experience it was a positive experience. The owner helped me get the items from my car. I thought the prices were fair. No complaints and I got rid of stuff Im not using! Win-win!!!

I wouldnt reccomended selling equipment to this place. They tell you they are looking up prices on your items but really the owner tells the other workers what price is acceptable to buy certain items. A worker tells me my item is worth $12 but I look them up before I go in the store and the item is selling at a minimum of $30. Future sellers beware, even though Its a longer ride the rock hill location is a little bit better and actually pays you a decent amount if your stuff is in great condition.

Not a really big selection in the store golf is lacking a lot and partially could be because of the pandemic causing more people to play the sport but the rest of the store seems okay and it is a little messy and cluttered. But the employees there are really nice and the items that I brought in to sell got me way more money than what I thought I was going to get I recommend selling your used exercise and sporting goods here if youre interested in selling its it worth checking them out first

I have been going to Play It Again Sports for years for various sports equipment. When kids are young and outgrow everything so quickly, it really saves money to buy used and PIAS always has a great selection for baseball, football, tennis, and Ive been seeing more lacrosse gear in there recently as well. This is in addition to all the treadmills, bikes, golf equipment, etc. Chris is very knowledgeable and has always helped me find the right equipment for my kids. I highly recommend supporting this locally owned business before you hit those big box stores!

Nice staff, inventory sometimes is a bit rough and over priced for what it is. Lack of return policy is really what keeps me going to big box stores

Best place to go for sports paraphernalias when your kids are just getting into sports ( soccer, baseball, basketball) without breaking your budget! They even offer 10% military discount on already heavily discounted stocks!

Great deals on used golf clubs! Single irons, whole sets, wedges, and lots of training aids. This is the place to go for the beginner golfer who doesnt want to fork out 700+ dollars on clubs to find out youve got to learn how to swing before the equipment even matters. I love Play it again!!!

Dont bother stopping here if you play disc golf, waste of time.. they dont carry anything.. one of the worst PIAS Ive ever been too

I definitely recommend not purchess anything more complicated than a baseball bat from this store. I recently purchased a treadmill from this store and payed to have it delivered. Upon completion of installation the machine read lube belt. I called the store and the owner assured me that the treadmill had been fully serviced and to disregard the lube belt notification light. and that one of his staff lived near me and stop by and correct the issue. He never showed up. Upon calling the store again, I was assured that the employee would stop by within two days. Once again, no one ever showed up.Now several months later, the lube lights comes on but the treadmill will not run at all. After calling the store, I was supplied with the phone number of an independent repair man. So much for the warranty and in my mind-reader integrity of the store as well as the owner. SO BUYER BEWARE when dealing with store. They will get no recommendations from me !!

These guys are outstanding! Theyre knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Plus, they dont try to oversell you. They gave my son several options but didnt pressure me to spend more than needed. Plus, the prices are great!

Was told best place it to get my sons football gear for season. Yes price was lower BUT was told the package would be $130 for pads & helmet well at check out I was informed my son who is a youth would have to pay differently because he needed adult size & that the gear had to be new! And by the way they did not have new gear but used so I did not qualify After I was quoted $130 package. At first they stated yes we will honor $130 package then switched it when I needed a different size. So customer service is misinforming with bait switch pricing. So parents beware have them give you all the facts to deals & when your go exchange for money you will get little money back!

Nice place great prices

Arrived at the store after driving almost hour only to find a sign that say we will return in 45 min. Without knowing what time they left that time could be any time. If this a franchise, it should be open during hours advertised. Not a good first impression. Oh and I’ve been sitting for 45 minutes and no one has returned. I expect more when shopping on Harbison.

They have the best prices compared to other sporting good stores. I wish I would have known about them much earlier before I spent my money at academy. James was the best salesmen he knew exactly what helmet, and pants size my son needed. Thanks Play It Again Sports

I’ve shopped from their store recently and loved the bike I bought, but when I’m today to sell some weights in great almost new condition and they basically gave me scrap metal prices, don’t recommend selling anything here

Terrible service if negative stars were available I would give max. went in several weeks ago to purchase kids used golf clubs and balls. First time was great service they worked with me on pricing of used balls. Next time I went in the owner was there and said I don’t know who gave you that price but it wasn’t me. I was a repeat customer for years. I have spent lots of money here. I did pay the price but I hope $60.00, loss of a customer, and a bad review was worth it. For years I have told everyone I know to go here that this place is great and affordable, but never agian. It wouldn’t be so bad if he was not so arrogant about the whole thing he just waived me off because my purchase was low and told me “ if you still want it that’s the price”.

My wife went to get package deal for my sons football gear $130 wrong we paid tons of money and confused sales associate saying 3 different reasons why we did not get package deal!! No customer care and we basically paid same price for used for new at Academy with better care! Also they give you peanuts for used cleats! Advice go somewhere else!

My daughter went to buy my grandsons football gear. The young kids there flip flopped on pricing! She was told package would be $130 great BUT no they then checked her out saying sorry not on used equipment sorry dont have your size sorry you need our adult size! So lies and then she was sold wrong size and had to pay more to get the right size L to XL why does size charge more?!?! Also so much equipment on the floors things were constantly falling and people tripping over the mess.

I went there to trade in my treadmill for a elipitical. The trade I was offered was ludicrous. I donated to Good Will instead.

Great place to shop. Low prices on their used equipment and competitive prices on their new equipment. They price match anything new. They even buy or let you trade in your old equipment for discounts on their equipment.

My mom went to buy football gear was told it would be $130 but then they sold us too small stuff went back they changed the price more $$ because they said package only for youth which I am and the size a needed they only had used not new so was not allowed. But we were told $130 walked out paying whole lot more$$$. Bad customer care and pricing change per person !!!
