My garage door broke due to the spring system so I called Precision and they got me an appointment for the next business day. The gentlemen that came out to do a quote was extremely helpful and got me an appointment the following day for it to be fixed. Chuck and Blake (the bearded crew) came to fix my door and upon available they were very welcoming and knowledgeable. They made sure to explain everything to me, including the warranty, service calls fees in the future, and even give me helpful tips when it came to purchasing a surge protector in order to have longevity in my motor. I called to request a service visit to repair/replace a garage door opener on Monday and technician, Richard was there exactly on time on Tuesday!! He was very knowledgeable and polite. He analyzed both doors and covered several options including complete door overhaul and just replacement of key parts to improve operation and safety. Due to my budget, we decided to do the complete overhaul on the worst door and wait to overhaul the other one. Richard explained everything and immediately began work and stayed until after 6 pm to complete the work. He demonstrated the door operation after repair and answered all my questions. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable about the issue that I had with my garage door. They explained to me in full detail what it was going to take to repair this and the cost. To my surprise I paid half of the cost that I thought it would cost.

Both techs arrived early which is a pleasant surprise these days. Very professional and knowledgeable. Took great care to test out and adjust the doors after repairs were timely completed. The only reason this is not 5 stars is the price of repairs. Parts cost can be easily determined with a little google research. Labor was roughly 3 times the retail parts cost without shipping. Thst was on top of the $65 service call fee. Overall a good experience and quick repair of broken springs and adjustment.

Super fast availability to come replace a belt on my garage door opener. Turns out the springs installed with the new door 2 years ago were not sufficient for the weight of the door…leading to the belt wearing out. Got a full “tune up” and important parts replaced. Tripp did a fine job and was very respectful of the space. Highly recommend!!

A sigh of relief! A few weeks ago the remote for my garage door opener stopped working. My thought was that it was a dead battery. I replaced the battery but then it would only work intermittently. Saturday it wouldn’t work at all. So I called Precision and they were available to come out Monday afternoon. They did a full safety inspection. For the most part everything was in good condition. They gave me three options. I ended up replacing my old remote (which was decades old), with a universal remote and the recommended maintenance. Wow! I had an appointment scheduled to get an estimate on a repair for a broken spring and what I thought were broken cables on my old garage door, this morning. I honestly expected the worst. David inspected the door and actually gave me informed and detailed options! I just knew they werent going to want to work on this door, being that it wasnt even theirs. When I chose the option I wanted to go with, he then said, alright Ill get to work. What?! I figured it would be weeks before they came back to repair it. Great experience! If you need to repair your garage door, I highly recommend them. This was the second time we have had to use Percussion Overhead Garage Door in a month. The first time was due to the overhead track coming unattached from the wall due to poor installation by someone else when the house was built. Today it was due to a minor mishap on my part. Both times the service techs were on-time and friendly. They explained the problem and what could be repaired economically without having to replace the door. They completed the work on the spot, giving me back a fully functioning door. When we are ready to replace the door, we will definitely be calling them.

Took $800 from me as a down payment in May. Told me that I had to have my panels ordered. I complained in September that there was no contact from anyone about my money that I paid or the panels that I ordered. Meanwhile, from May through September my family is parking outside. All of a sudden 4 days after I call to complain, the panels magically have been shipped and the installation will be scheduled. Then I only had to pay another $1000 to complete the installation. Very poor customer service. Technician (Chuck) was good and informative. Someone dropped the ball but no one at the company would own up to it. 5 months to install a garage door and $1800 later is unsatisfactory!! Shop around and ask questions before paying your money is my advice.

Absolutely fantastic service. We called Precision Door one morning and they had a salesperson show up for an appointment that afternoon ON TIME! The salesperson (John) was extremely informative and discussed options that would fit our needs. We decided on a door and were told it would be 6-8 weeks before our door would be available but, we got a call from them the next week - the door was in and ready to be installed. We had to delay a bit to get some other work done; Precision Door was flexible with that. The day of install, the installers called to let us know when they would be here, and they were here ON TIME! The installers, John and Blake, were extremely professional, courteous, and worked together like a well-oiled machine. They answered all our questions, demonstrated the doors features, cleaned up behind themselves and were finished in about 3hrs - maybe a little less. A sprocket broke on my garage door. The necessary repair was just completed by Service Technician Kevin Lynch. Kevin quickly diagnosed the problem and went to work fixing it. Called around 8:30am. Scheduled time between 10-12 same day. Tripp, the technician arrived at 9:30 after calling to see if he could come earlier. Did a safety inspection and gave us a quote of how much it would cost to do the work needed to fix our issue. He got everything done he said, was clean and neat and had us come inspect once his job was complete. The story starts with an embarrassing revelation. I called because there was a beeping sound coming, I thought, from the garage door opener of the new house I had just bought. I called, and someone was out rapidly to take a look. Turns out, it was an old smoke detector in the trash can right below the opener. Ugh. Thankfully, the young man that came out didnt even laugh at me (though I bet he will tell that story). ;)While he was there, I had him do a safety inspection, because the doors on the home were damaged, and I had concerns. Turned out I was right, there were more concerns than even I knew about. So, on the spot, we ordered a new insulated garage door, and they delivered and installed it the next week! Our door opener stopped working Saturday. I went on Home Advisor. I received a number of interest but Precision was the only one that was able to come troubleshoot the problem today. Chris came out and fully inspected the door, hardware, and opener. He told told me that the opener needed to be replaced, which I was not surprised but he also explained other issues involving the stress cracks and missing bolts. He explained our options and the details of each one. Luckily for us, Precision had a opening within the next two days to installed a new door and opener. I really appreciated Chris professionalism and knowledge of the garage door systems.

From the time we called to the time the work was completed, the process was fast and super easy. We got an appointment right away, and Tripp Ray came out and assessed the issue. He gave us our options and, once we decided what was best for us, he did a complete overhaul in about 30 minutes and everything was working right again. I will definitely use them again for my garage door needs, and I recommend them to anyone that needs garage door services.

I have been a customer of yours twice before for door repairs. Both times your staff was courteous prompt and offered a great service. My most recent service left me disheartened by your work ethics or policy of the company. The gentleman who did the inspection was excellent but the options for repair were ridiculous. I had a broken drive belt only. But in order to replace it( without warranty), required he rebalance the door springs - or rather, replace them as well as change door rollers all of which amounted to over $700.I have bought parts from your company and installed them myself. I only need a drive belt for about 200. So after he called his office and talked it over they agreed to sell me the rail but will not install it. Good thing I am handy as the next cheapest option was $700. Weather you warranty your work or not, you can at least offer to do repairs and recommend other options without requiring them .I hope this was a once off, your company has a good reputation.Update. 8/31 was contacted by manager after initial review. Very cordial, Clint listened to my account of interaction to clarify details. He had approved permission to repair broken rail but service man only sold unit without installing. Clint offered to reimburse call cost and apologized for misunderstanding. Very grateful for open communication. Glad to update review from 2 ⭐ to 4. Thanks Clint.

Service was great. Come out on same day and repaired our garage door. Replaced both springs and did other checks and services. Gave us options with written quotes so we could decide what worked best for us.

The first technician missed something and the garage door failed to work like it should. However, after calling back they sent David out to check on it and he was very thorough and took his time to figure out the problem. I appreciate his time and fixing the issue! Michael Bookman was FANTASTIC today! He took Great care, provided AWESOME Customer service and Did a Great Job with installing my new Garage door motors. He programmed extra key faubs I had and even programmed my vehicles for me! EXCELLENT Service, very friendly young man and even adjusted a charge for me that was not told to me in the beginning. I couldnt have asked for a better Technician to come out today and service our Garage. We will be continuing using Precision Door and I will be asking for Michael.
