Amazing experience from beginning to end with this company and everyone in the shop! Hubert went out if his way to ensure I got everything I wanted and more! I ordered a custom black lifted golf cart and asked if it was possible to get yellow stripes sewn in the seats since Im from Pittsburgh and a huge fan. He already had some they had created and sent me pictures for my approval and then changed my order and put the yellow custom seats on at no extra cost! He also explained that they were working about a month behind due to the pandemic but would ensure I was kept up to date on production. The cart was actually dont a week and a half ahead of time and delivered before it was even scheduled to be completed! I highly recommend this company and staff to everyone wanting a golf cart!

Wish I could give this place more than 5 Stars! We stopped in to compare the new and refurbished golf carts with one that we were thinking of buying from a friend. We received EXCELLENT service and GREAT advice from Hubert. He advised us to make the purchase from our friend and told us why it was a great deal. We appreciate the honesty ... they could have made a sale, but recommended the option that was best for us. If we are in the market for another golf cart, I would absolutely purchase from Tidewater.

My wife and I had been shopping around for a custom built cart for months with no real satisfaction in the businesses we had dealt with. A friend of ours recommended Tidewater Carts. I called and spoke with Hubert and immediately was impressed with what Tidewater had to offer. He asked over the phone what we were looking for in a custom cart and said he would call us when it was ready. When we went to look at the new build, we were more than impressed. Spent a lot of time searching for the cart I wanted and tidewater carts made it happen! Sent them a picture of what I was looking for and not only did they give me what I wanted but they gave me above and beyond what I was looking for. I have used tidewater carts now for two seasons for an older cart. They are very reasonable in costs and the customer service is great. Hubert has been very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or issues that come up. I will always be drawn to companies that put the customer first and tidewater carts does just that. I went into Tidewater carts for a replacement leaf spring. I met Hubert and another very nice gentleman at the desk who were VERY helpful. Since I have a stock golf cart, they brought out a replacement spring from a cart they had raised and told me I could have it at NO CHARGE! This would have probably been a $60 part. I really appreciated their kindness. I would recommend this place for all your golf cart needs! ❤️

Great experience with Hubert at Tidewater Carts. Cart was built from ground up and turned out better than expected. Even on day of pickup was impressed with the Tidewater drink cozies in the cup holders of the cart. Small thing but was a nice touch.

I had been to several golf cart companies before I went to Tidewater Carts. At Tidewater Carts I was treated with respect from knowledgeable and professional staff. They took the time to explain everything to me, helped me with the accessories and I ended up with the cart that I wanted at a fair price.

It was an easy transaction. They were able to give me exactly what I wanted. It only took them a few days to add all the things I needed. Thanks the prices are also very good. I did a lot of searching before I stopped in.

Had a relatively brand new battery (purchased about four months ago) fail this week because a terminal melted. Jordan stated that the battery manufacturer would not replace under warranty because the melted terminal was likely caused by a issue with the cable connection. After initially stating he would replace the battery at his cost, he ultimately replaced it for us without cost to make it right. I sincerely appreciate his taking care of this issue without charging us given it was a new battery and failed without fault of ours. This is an example of positive customer service that I greatly appreciate and makes me comfortable in referring customers to them (we referred a friend three weeks ago who bought a cart) and continuing to use Tidewater for future service needs. As previously noted, we recently replaced all the batteries and also had to replace a punctured tire in the last four to five months and undoubtedly will have future service needs.

I needed a bag attachment and these guys were polite and very helpful. Pleasant experience and will recommend them to all.

Have used the service department twice in the last month with two different issues. Work was done quickly and they took their time explaining the electrical system which I was not up to speed on. No issues with the work. Hourly rate is a bit high ....

The sales operation seems nice enough, but service leaves a lot to be desired. Dropped off my cart with a known smoked motor, and was told 2 weeks to repair. 2 MONTHS and many phone calls later, they finally had it ready, with additional parts required. No calls from them to tell me about delays, just calls from me trying to get status updates. I actually understand the additional parts issue, but I had to beg for information. Ready included a cover missing, and no one knew why none of the lights worked anymore. I had asked about possibly replacing the turn signal switch, but no action on that, and it no longer worked. Two weeks later, and I am having to replace a fairly new battery because the terminal melted from a loose connection. I am in a customer service position myself, and my customers would rake me over the coals if I left them like I have been left. I will find another facility for service next time. Really poor customer interaction.

I wanted to finance a newer golf cart. I called this company and spoke with someone there before i started the process. I saw the cart i wanted on their website and had to have it. I applied and got approved only for them to tell me afterwards they didnt have any instock and had to build one. Their website never mentioned this and Im stuck with this credit card that i will never use. Thanks for the unnecessary ding on my credit!

Later in the production process she kept me informed and address all questions that we had with our cart.We are using the cart as part of my wife small business, to draw marketing and delivery in our town. It was a grand surprise to my wife when I drove up to pick her up one evening.We highly recommend the King of Carts as a source for your needs.

I was looking for golf carts to have and enjoy on Fripp Island in SC at our beach house. I am a TN resident. I looked here but TN taxes and delivery fees would have been close to $2K for 2 carts. I found Tidewater Carts in Columbia and we did the deal over the phone with multiple text messages, videos, and phone calls from Leslie, and Mark. Not only did I save the above tax( since I am a TN resident ) and 1/5th the price for delivery, Tidewater was a bit less overall on the actual carts than the companies in TN. They were courteous, patient, and very professional. We traveled down to Fripp this past Friday, stopping at the store AFTER hours ( held open by Aaron when he heard we were coming thru) and saw first hand the finished carts although we had been sent videos of the finished and highly detailed carts earlier in the week. Gabriel then took over and delivered the carts to Fripp on Sunday. There were phone calls along the way so we knew exactly when he would arrive so we could continue to enjoy our time at the beach. WHO DOES THIS KIND OF SERVICE ANYMORE??????We could not be more pleased with the carts and the entire process. I HONESTLY cannot tell these are used carts!!! Thank you Tidewater Carts!

Called and asked for trojan 875 batteries. Told me the price and I said I would be leaving soon to get them. 40 minute drive later and they told me they didnt have them. Last time I had to wait an hour to get help. I went elsewhere and ended up saving money.
