The only halal store in the city of Columbia, SC. Their halal meat prices are way higher than other places like, halal stores in Charlotte or Atlanta.But they have a very good selection of spices, olives, dates, and cheese.Sometimes they keep expired products, so check dates when buying anything.It seems they are trying to expand the store lately. Lets see what new stuff they bring in their store.

This Halal store is very disorganized and short staffed when I went to the store yesterday, the butcher was by himself at the meat department, so therefore the brother that was at the register had to keep going back and forth to help the butcher. Two people ran the whole store! The two gentlemen were very professional and helpful, but they needed help. Although this location has a great selection, the store needs a lot of work and not to mention the products are costly and the meat section is filthy. I will never buy meat from there again! The owner of this location is terrible.

I love this store, they carry all the hard to find middle eastern spices, meats, and produce. Meat is very fresh and delicious, halal of course. Also great selection of black tea, green coffee beans, some kitchenware, and pickled food

I went there for the first time. I normally go to a store in Charlotte. But I’m in the Columbia area now. The store has many things I love to eat and shop for. But I’m hoping by getting more people to shop there. It can encourage them to clean up the store. Really needs to get better organized. I would love to help y’all if you want. These guys are great! Not polite to ask where they are from! Good part, is that they have an expert butcher who can cut any part of a goat or lamb that you need! You may buy from one pound for stew or a whole for over fire roasting! Variety of prices and seasonings from around the world! I like the pickled aisle best! Last trip I bought turnip,peppers, pickles, garlic and olives! Lots of stuff to browse!

The worst store

This is a good place for picking up Middle Eastern items. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of products with a full stock of spices, tea, coffee and specialty items. I’ve always found it clean and well organized.

I was so happy to see all the specialty groceries on the shelves here, havent found all these goodies anywhere else for hundreds of miles. Everything I want for Middle Eastern cooking is here, as well as many grains and lentils that cost three times more at Whole Foods. Staff was polite and friendly. I filled my cart up like a kid in a candy store, and will be returning soon!

High pricespriced

During COVID, they are charging $6.99 for beef stew. They gave me 6 pounds of rubber in the name of beef. Probably it is the worst place for your money to be wasted. Not recommended

Great place to purchase all your beef, children, lamb & goat. You have to taste these meats, words cant describe their taste after cooking.

Dont be afraid go right in. Flatbread and halal meat. Frozen falafel ready for shaping and frying. Spices and labne and ground coffee. I got sword skewers for kebabs.

Here is the worst type of beef you can buy. They dont know how to cut beef and then sell it. Disappointed!!! Need to improve.

Since the new management took over the store, the service has been very good. In contrast to the last butcher the new brother is very nice and always gives the best meat.

Fantastic variety of products of Turkish, Arabic and Indian origin - from spices to rice to dairy products. Best prices and selections of olive oil and tahini that Ive found ANYWHERE in Columbia. @Herokimah Kalimullah - I go there very often and have never experienced bad treatment from either of the owners - and I am NOT Muslim. I dont think you should take it personally.

While food products are great, customer service of cashier only proves the prediction our my beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH that his ummah would remained PLAGUED by RACISM as evidenced by the sister cashier getting off the phone to tend to two women with the Muslim greetings and small talk, one with hijab and leggings other not with hijab and western attire, of her skin color, while the entire time serving me, a Muslim of color donning jilbab and khimar, the sister cashier stayed on the phone with the words “credit” and “your receipt.” IT HURTS!!!

I went to THIS store to support the Muslims, I walked in no salaam had to raise my voice then they looked at me crazy, I dont know why, maybe Im a blk man or because I dress in Islamic garb. Didnt feel comfortable I dont think Ill be back.Maybe I can find an Afrikan store.
