I arrived at the store before 11 pm and was met in the parking lot by an employee who was not in uniform ( I can only assume that he is an employee). This guy said they were closed. He said that they close at 11. It was 10 minutes before 11. I only needed a couple items and would have been gone before the actual closing time. I will not be spending any more of my money at this store. The only reason I even shop here at all is because they are open when I have time to shop. If I were to close the restaurant that I manage early I would be fired on the spot. I guess you dont like making sales. Thus is why people are willing to pay more at Publix. At least they stay open as late as they are supposed to. If you are closing at 10:50 post it on the door and lock it. Dont have some random guy who isnt wearing a name tag or uniform roaming the parking lot.

I am giving a 5 star review to Autumn in grocery pickup. When I came to pick up my order I didnt have everything I ordered. I told her about it and right away she took my number and was able to get all items missing. She didnt have to go out of her way but she did. She is super sweet, kind and very respectful. All the times Ive picked up orders she is the 1st one Ive seen running trying to get customers there orders. That is great customer service!!! I am very pleased!!

Waited 35 minutes to check out. Right now there is one cashier with 11 people in line waiting. Only 2 self check outs working with 8 people in line. Ridiculous. Two Not h Kroger isn’t as new and nice but is much better staffed.

So I shop at Kroger once a week and I picked up my order and I got home and realized a bunch of items were missing! So I called and spoke to Autumn and she was very apologetic and explained that she was short staffed and that she would personally grab the items that were missing and that she would let me know when she had them ready! She was very professional and sweet! Thanks Autumn for being awesome 😎

I came to the curbside pick up and the system was down. I met the sweetest young lady named Autumn and she literally ran to get my groceries and hustled to get everyone their served. I’ve been coming to this Kroger since it opened. It’s been slowly going downhill. Twice in the last month I’ve come to return something to customer service desk has been closed. As in no one is there to help you, no one will help you, and there’s no point in coming back later because it’s closed for the entire day!! At 4 PM on Wednesday. The checkout lines were so busy they were at least 30 people deep. I’m not exaggerating. Absolute disgrace. I saw three or four employees just walking around walking in their departments. Apparently no one thought it was important for them to stop what they were doing and help. At 4 pm on a Wednesday there is no reason for their check out lines to be like that! One actual register is open. Both self checkouts are open but not all the machines are working and those lines are still 30+ people deep as well. Every retail store I’ve ever worked at always works cal people from other departments to help when the checkout lines got bad. There’s no excuse. The pharmacy is also really slow. The actual pharmacist is knowledgeable, but the techs are slow and don’t seem to know what they are doing.

Possibly the worst run Kroger I’ve ever been to. On multiple occasions have waited >30 minutes for a mobile pickup order only to not have key products retrieved including chicken and beef that was available in the store when checked immediately after. Will also have 30 minute long lines inside due to only opening two lanes for checkout yet counted 8 employees in the parking lot on their phones “picking up carts”. When asking to speak with management, he was also on his phone and would not even look up to address my concerns further than “ I’m sorry to hear about your experience”. Sadly, this hasn’t been an isolated experience rather a chronic issue and after visiting this store for a year I don’t think these issues are even being addressed.

Anthony J delivered less than half of what I paid for through my online order. He also put the bags down so quick and took off. I am not sure if he stole the items or the money from my order but this service is horrible and he was by far the worst. This specific Kroger was once my go-to store. Going forward I will no longer shop here and plan to ensure people proceed with caution before they attempt to order anything from this store. I called customer service and was offered only $10.00 credit toward my purchase. I’m really curious how much additional money this store makes in inventory they keep or money stolen. Whether by the store itself or those who complete the deliveries. This is unacceptable and honestly such a horrible representation of the Kroger brand…might I add he also stated that he refunded the items via text while he was corresponding with me, only to find out he never did. Way to go Kroger.

Terrible place. So dirty inside and the parking lot is trashed. Buggies everywhere but in the store. Lazy employees talking and cussing standing around outside while buggies everywhere. Store was bare... rotten produce...and just when you think its bad it gets worse because now I have to check myself out and bag them too. Only 1 line open..On a Sat!!!Nope not paying for this service or food. Good bye Kroger.

Take it from someone who worked here for 5 years( no longer work there obv) the reason why employees don’t care is because management doesn’t care, management at this store has always been terrible and continues to be terrible and working conditions aren’t up to the standard they like you to think they are The mobile pick up system would benefit if management actually cared, currently in the store there is one person working on the entire food pick up. There are 4 cars waiting for their order including myself that have been waiting for almost 30+ minutes and you think management cares? The straight forward answer is no. I’m picking this up for someone else or I wouldn’t be here Do not shop here, there are other places that are better off with your money, Not Kroger I’d vote 0 stars and even negative

Sign on 77 says easy exit and return to 77...... A complete lie. I spent 20 minutes in traffic after getting off 77. Seriously will never stop at a Kroger again after this TERRIBLE experience.

I’m currently here to pick up a prescription and kindly waiting neither the pharmacy tech or pharmacist even acknowledged me I kindly said excuse me he barely turned around and said I’ll be with you but a kind acknowledgment would have been thoughtful. I’ll be sure to file an additional complaint on both of the staff for poor customer service.

Standing outside waiting for the store to open 15 minutes passed the notated time on the door. Called customer service and unidentified person said they cannot open until cashier shows up. Have seen at least 5 employees walk by the door. A manager should know how to handle the situation appropriately. Update: Stood outside until 5:52 am and ended up going to Walmart.

Okay the deals are major for order pick up nice coupons and great savings. Great for us but terrible for the unrelated and overworked staff. There’s a woman who works clicklist and she is a superwoman. Her name is Autum Odell. I got her name when I did my second pick up the next day after my first. To my surprise she was there because she’d been called in. The previous day was hell for the workers they were running all around doing the beat they could and she was a superstar handling everything that was thrown at her. I fear that she won’t be appreciated for the awesome job she’d done especially in this climate where stores just want you to work work work and show no appreciation to the workers. I hope they see her light and promote her because after the terrible day she had the first pick up I wouldn’t have come back and she did on her off day when they called. Superstar employee!!!! I hope to see her every time I pick up.

Very disappointed 😢 This was first & last visit to this store. I normally go to Publix and today I find this Kroger store. Dirty, trash everywhere.

I really like this store, they have a great layout, great deals, and prices which I like, but I’m not a fan of their customer service, the cashiers and baggers are super nice, helpful and are willing to help you if you have questions. One of the cashiers even ran out of the store to give a customer their bags after they left. But I feel like the supervisors tend to be the most troublesome. Whenever I’m in line peering around, the supervisors are usually laughing really hard and yelling, the cashier checking me out today was new and you could tell because she was asking questions and fiddling around and the supervisors were standing there paying no attention. You could tell she was struggling and the supervisors just yelled at her. It was a bit unsettling. But that’s the only problem I have with them, other than that they are a great store! ;)

This is my favorite place to grocery shop in Columbia. Always clean, great customer service, well stocked, clean bathrooms, and love the fuel rewards. The flower shop is really nice good quality and prices are very responsible.

This is the absolute worst Kroger I’ve been to. It’s dirty, rarely stocked, just overall disgusting. I go out of my way not to shop there.

No carts available cause they were all over the parking lot. Store was full of flies. Rotisserie chicken pour out all over me and my car because it was poorly packaged in a zip lock bag that came open. To top that, the chicken was way undercooked/raw when I tried to serve it for dinner. Will not be returning to this store.

Great selection of merchandise, fruits, vegetables and other items. I took 3 stars off because the cashier lines, human and automated, are too long. I took another 2 stars off because it is the ghettoest Kroger Ive ever been too. Technically Walmart 2.0.Im not sure management is aware but the way some of these employees conduct themselves is like they think they are at home or at a club. In one instance a bunch of young teens walked out, pushing merchandise out of the way and into the ground. Another day there were shady individuals walking around outside. Yesterday, an employee wouldnt move out of the way, standing at the center of an exit door, while customers had to go around her.The only think keeping it at 2 stars is the customer service of the other employees who care.

1 hour + wait time to pick up curbside and I was the 2nd person checking in when I pulled up. They had one employee who was coming out every 20 -30 minutes and filling one car. Cars were wrapped around the parking lot waiting to even get into the curbside pickup spaces.

We purchased a bottle of wine here last week and it is one of our favorites. Upon opening the bottle of wine and pouring a glass we could not drink it. It tasted just like vinegar signifying that it had gone bad. My husband brought the remainder of the wine in today Friday (8/20/2021) around 5:45pm to speak to someone at customer service letting them know our bottle was a bad batch asking if he liked switch it out with another. The young lady who was working at customer service told him no and that we do not do that. My husband finally gave up trying to get any help from her and just left the bottle and the remainder of its contents on the counter and walked away. I have tried calling three times now to speak to a manager and the same young lady keeps answering the phone and just saying “please hold.” I have been waiting for almost twenty minutes. Very frustrated with Kroger right now and will take my business elsewhere.

When I began to prepare them, I noticed that something was moving. 😳🧐 After my husband and I took a closer look, we realized that it was a parasite. I called Kroger and spoke with the manager who was very nice. He asked that we bring the oysters back and he would issue a refund. Cool! Not a problem 💁🏾‍♀️. We removed the Oysters from the pan to return to the store but then we noticed that there were MULTIPLE parasites When we arrived at the store, we explained that there were multiple parasites and we even took a cup of the parasites as a nice little souvenir 😊. We received a refund and left the cup of parasites behind. We were told that a claim would be filed and someone would be contacting us the following week. A very nice lady called to gather some information and stated she would file the claim. Well she contacted me today to let me know that the claim was denied because Kroger says that they did nothing wrong. I guess I was wrong for not asking them to hold the parasites when I purchased the oysters.Just be careful. Look at your food closely when purchasing from their seafood department. Maybe even ask them to hold the parasites so if you accidentally eat one, YOU wont be the one at fault.

This is a relatively new store, and it already feels so worn down. It is not being well maintained and does not feel clean. I have decided not to do the bulk of my shopping here anymore because of it. It’s disappointing because I love Kroger, but a grocery store should feel clean. The employees do not seem happy either.

Has a bit of everything. Was able to get a jackfruit here. Id call before going there for it though. They also had tumeric and tambarind. The food in the deli isnt bad. The rib dinner was enough to share for two persons.

Provides good selection of products ranging from fresh produce, deli to bakery, nuts and grains, also carries clothing and accessories as well as health and beauty products. I found the aisles to be clean, shelves well stacked and arranged appropriately with products.

I lived in Arizona and shopped at Frys which is a Kroger store. I got spoiled for what I consider a Top Notch grocery store. This store doesnt even scratch the surface. Shelves are perpetually empty. Ive spotted out of date products on the shelves many times, especially in the dairy case. The in-store shoppers (store employees) are rude. If there are more than 2 on an aisle, no one can pass with a cart, they expect you to give them the right of way, and dont even think about asking one of them for help. This is nothing more than poor management. This is otherwise a nice store that is still literally brand new. Id like to see the manager step it up a few notches because theyre losing me. Id rather drive a little further to Publix having peace of mind knowing that Ill find what I need.Update: 2 years have passed since my review. I know that if it was my name and photo at the front of the store, you can bet that I would be holding my employees accountable. Why? Because its not their photo and name at the front of the store. Want free money? Apply to this store because it seems the manager is paying people to do nothing. The only professionalism and cleanliness is the Starbucks. The Starbucks manager should be running the store! Come on dude, grow some balls and hold your employees accountable. Oh yeah! Almost forgot! Heres a couple of pictures.

1 year ago I rated this Kroger a 4 because I enjoyed the deals. However, yesterday I had a very poor experience at the customer service desk. I believe her name was, Silia, and I went to customer service because the 5 for 5 deal did not acknowledge one of my items. She said there was nothing she could do for me, but return the item. She was rather inconsiderate about the situation because it obviously messed up my $100 bill. So I went back into the store - took a picture of the item and clearly states it is on the deal - and go back up. She said she still would not help me. So I then had to return all of the items.

This place is immaculate! The produce is beautiful and reasonably priced. Staff were courteous and helpful and they had numerous items in stock that I couldnt find anywhere else. The prices are moderate, but otherwise this is a fantastic store.They sell clothes and household items, too, which I thought was interesting.

This is the nicest and cleanest Kroger I have ever been to. It helps that it’s right by my house, but they’re well stocked & always an enjoyable experience. The Starbucks inside is great, and pre-covid their salad bar was pretty good

This Kroger is amazing! They not only have groceries but also toys household items and clothes. One amazing thing is they have a kids free fruit box. I love this because every time we go to the grocery store it doesnt matter what time of day my daughter always says shes hungry. We usually would let her eat fruit out of what we were going to buy and felt a little bit guilty because we knew the weight would be less. Now with this free Fruit option we can do it guilt-free.

I love all Kroger stores, but this one is my favorite. It has everything you could possibly imagine (except Tigernut Flour ☹) and then some. Clothing, grills, patio furniture, toliet seats, pet beds, and of course...food. Prices are good, sales are better, and their selection of healthy, non-GMO, natural, dairy free, gluten free products is excellent. You can even order your groceries via their app and come park in covered parking and get your groceries brought out to you.

I can’t say enough good things about this branch! They have everything you could possibly want here. The staff is very friendly and professional. The sushi is to die for! Happy there is a Starbucks inside and they even have clothing. Just an excellent shopping experience!

Went to the pharmacy today and Elaine was awesome. I had discount card and coupons for a discount but even with those the price of the medication was over 250.00. She went the extra mile and was able to find the best price for under 25.00. Way to go that extra mile Elaine. You are a superstar. God bless you. Kroger you have my prescription business now.

I placed a online order for pickup and when I went to get my order at the time they gave me, I had to wait a hour to get my groceries because of the line they had for pickups. They definitely need to do a better job of scheduling the pickups better.

Shopping in store is a great experience but with store pickup needs work. Numerous times they say they are out of something with no possible substitution for very very common items. Cheddar couldnt be substituted for ANY other cheeses else etc. Cucumbers couldnt be substituted for mini cucumbers or english cucumbers, really?!?! And Im not ever given an option for substitutions just automatically told there were none to offer.

Highly inconsistent hours of pharmacy drive-thru. Hours posted, and confirmed with pharmacy employee, are from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm; however, on multiple occasions, the pharmacy drive-thru opens at random times - today at 8:25 am after sitting and waiting at the drive-thru window for 25 minutes and only after calling the store and asking to speak to the store manager. I could understand if it was a “one-off“ but this has happened on several occasions. Recommendation: change the sign of the drive-thru window hours as the service is not routinely available at the times posted.

That Cheap store that all the Elite shoppers try to avoid ALWAYS double-bags OR allows customer to use whatever number of bags that they need. Therefore, I will go back to that Cheap store that is not pound-fool and penny-wise. I wonder why I have ever stopped by your store today. Lessons learned.

This store doesn’t require masks even though it is located within area where masks are required. Had to leave my cart after 3 separate unmasked customers and not practicing social distancing. I did my shopping at a Publix store a short distance away where guidelines are enforced.

The young lady working the fuel center today,Thursday July 2nd 2020, really needs a hug I think. She would barely look me in the face and said nothing to me when I said Hi, how u doin, hope you have a nice day. Completely ignored me each time and just turned to look behind me like she couldnt be bothered!! Please someone bring her a snickers/and or a happy meal.

This Kroger is SUPER!! Very clean, friendly employees. They have a beautiful vegetable and fruit selection. Toys, clothes, shoes, make-up, housewares, even towels! Their whole milk is almost always $1.39/ gallon. You can’t beat that! Lovely flower arrangements and assorted plants. The only improvement I would suggest is in the bakery. More variety of cakes, pastries and breads. Their gas prices are always lower than elsewhere. There’s a Starbucks inside if you want a coffee while you shop. They also have a variety of prepared foods, pizza, Chinese, etc. I highly recommend this grocery store.

Pretty much the only grocery store I ever shop at. They have pretty much everything from food to pharmacy items to even clothes! It is very clean and well organized. Stocked well and offers a large variety of items including a great assortment of vegan items! Which is so nice because its so much closer than Whole Foods or Trader Joes. The staff is always polite and helpful as well.

This supermarket is very nice. The aisles are always fully stocked and clean. They have the best selection of products and produce. The meat is a little pricey but they have a high selection to choose from. They also have a clothing section with styles that are close to what you may find in some of the higher priced stores. The employees are very friendly and very helpful and well trained. Located near another super store, Id say they are giving them a run for their money.

This location is HUGE ! Has everything and more! Clothes,shoes ext. The had an excellent sale today. Oct. 4th . But only had one cashier and the rest self service. Horrible idea . Need more cashiers when you know with a great sale you are going to be busy .

This is a massive store! it is a grocery store, so they can typically be rated on 3 factors: cleanliness, variety, and amount of staff. I dont rate them on customer service because due to the size of the staff, there will typically be one bad egg. This Kroger passes all standards! Very clean, large amount of variety, and I noticed staff everywhere. If I needed help, it would not be a hassle to find someone. So essentially, its worth a bit of a drive to get here.

We shop at this Kroger once a week and its been a good experience. The store is always in good shape and clean. The deli, which we visit every week, is great. I like the meat Dept, which you can get fresh meat and the amount you need, or prepackaged. Overall the prices are not bad here either.

Some of these are stock photos. Ive never seen mozzarella sticks on the bar or corn. On the other hand, I absolutely love Kroger! This is my go to place for almost everything and a lot of the cashiers know me personally. Definitely, must to shop there.

This store is in a convenient place right off I-77 Killian exit 22. Built off the right place just off the interstate. You can stop pick quick item that you need or forget to make your dinner for the night. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Store is always clean. Most importantly you have a Starbucks there if you need a boost or pick me up from a long day. You can also call and pre-order both coffee and groceries.

This Kroger always has the freshest produce though I wish items were pulled forward on the shelves more often as they can be hard to reach. The grocery pick up isnt the best at this location though. Ive spent over 5 minutes on hold with no one picking up before. Theyve also left things out without telling me, or substituted without letting me know. I wouldnt recommend this location for grocery pick up

This place is wonderful! The have Starbucks and even clothing & shoes for the whole family. Their groceries carry a lot of different and unusual brands that u dont find every day. And make sure u get a card so you can get $.03 off of the gas station there. Love it!

The cashier Mrs. Carrie was very rude. She even became loud towards me & the manager Mrs. Dorthy about me putting bottle waters on the belt. I can tell from Mrs. Carrie behavior towards me, the manager Mrs. Dorthy & her loudness in front of the entire front area, that she knew it wasnt going to be any consequences for her actions. The manager Mrs. Dorthy did not even report the incident to higher up even though they was present but unaware. When I called shortly after leaving the store about the incident she then left me on hold for almost 20-30 mins & would not let me speak to her supervisor either. She stated to me there was no need she was only going to talk to her cashier & what else would you like me to do?. I did later get in touch with a supervisor over both of them not sure if anything is going to happen to this lady for her actions but I want to make it known! Go to corporate because the Managers dont seem to care about how the customers are treated.

The pharmacy was amazing...thank you Pharmacist Kristen...she went out of the line of duty to help us. We are from Houston and were delayed in the hurricane. She made sure we had our pills. Big relief. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Produce area stays dirty! Seafood dept. employees act as if you are bothering them....instead of providing you what you want they point you to the freezer to buy! Use to be friendly faces. Kroger has got to do better. When they opened they were great, now Walmart is the place for better customer service...can you believe it

Excellent food store also including clothing, hardware, etc. They have an included gas station with some of the best prices in the area. They offer discounts on gas as reward for shopping there. They have a nice deli with take away food. Pizza is good, and Im told the sushi is also good. We tend to shop here more than other grocery stores in the area.

Love it! Fresh fruit and veggies. Large section of wine. Plenty of parking. Prices is higher but I believe in quality over quantity so. Quick checkout time, not that long line waiting for three cashiers working stuff. Lynda made me the best damn tasting sub ever so neatly.

Your glass bottle milk upcharge sign is gone. Yet when I got to the cash register still trying to charge me a surcharge on the glass bottle. No sign. No charge. But I didn’t press the issue. I just want you to list the price as is. That’s fair. Not list it for $4.29 and then tack on extra money at the register. That’s not being honest. And the sign isn’t noticeable even when it is there.

Great first impression! Very clean & organized. The produce section & specialty areas are amazing! The whole store is arranged so you can find what youre looking for! We will be back!

Poorly managed

I dont know what has been going on lately but nothing is in stock. I dont know if it is from being understaffed and not being able to fill product or if its because the vendors are just not sending as much. Also sell by dates are within 3 to 6 days of alot of things. Usually I can buy bread and eggs with sell by dates at least 7+ days.

Always a pleasure shopping there. Such variety & everything is so fresh. With sales & coupons you cant go wrong.

It’s time to step it up with The continuous spread of COVID or more people will start shopping elsewhere. I’d like to know why this is so???

Great place to shop, eat, get a cup of coffee at the contract unit Starbucks, and save some money on gas. Atmosphere so much more pleasant than other grocery/superstore options in Columbia. Refreshing attention to cleanliness, variety in types of food options (including organic, gluten free, vegan, seafood, cheeses). Employees are helpful and attentive to a greater extent than other options. Good deals and reasonable pricing. Very happy with Kroger brand organic options. This ownership obviously is striving for a second-to-none customer experience.

My husband and I went to get gas. We decided to take a tour of the store. We were Absolutely surprised with an array of different items to buy. II was amazed at the clothes, shoes, etc.I bought a beautiful skirt.Its a farther drive but the prices and service were well worth it. I plan to make a return trip tomorrow.

Fresh produce milk coeaj aisles and quick check out with more lines open than other stores around. Starbucks inside I wish they use the app to pay for coffee but you can sit inside and the cakes are good. Plus they have ice cream I cant find in other stores.

Also the have the Fridays- Sunday deals on select items but get there fast cause it will sell out quick..There 10 for $10 is the best deals.. The kroger cards helps you build points so you can save at the gas station. The card also take off when there are sales. Workers are friendly and helpful.. There cakes are good also..

I like this Kroger. It comes equiped with a Starbucks inside (yeah!!!) I purchased some black pepper cashews from the bulk selection and they taste as it they had been there for a while. I ended up throwing them out. But this is a large store with a great selection. But sample before purchasing from the bulk products...

Too many vendors, managers helping put new prices up, too many people standing around observing the store. There were aisles impassable because of store people standing around and in the way. The dog food aisle had an almost empty cart in the way. I got some awesome deals this morning but wasnt able too finish my shopping. I may do it at Kroger or go to the commissary. Need to get fresh vegetables closer to the holiday as well.

Everyone here is always so friendly. The store is visually appealing and everything is easy to find. I was especially impressed with the Kroger Chef Jr series and the employees who were in charge. Great experience for my family.

Awesome place to shop. Stopped to get food on the way home. Made fresh subs. Soup is delicious, had Starbucks while I waited. Excellent customer service.

Clean 90% of the time. Decent prices. Prefer going here over some other places, but they dont carry one Item that I need. Still a great facility!

A very large grocery store - What i call a Super Kroger. They have a huge supply of drugstore type items, i.e. shampoo, razors, vitamins, etc. Plus they have clothes, shoes. And of course all the normal grocery store items plus a salad bar, bakery, deli. They make sandwiches and pizzas and have ready to eat soups and salads etc. Plus chicken. A pretty awesome store.

New super Kroger. Theyre selling just about everything here, ha! Even clothes. Good craft beer selection, and good meats. You can even get sushi! And they have Starbucks.

My wife and I order a lunch meal for the both of us. Food did lack flavor in seasoning department.. The temperature was warm on the foods. Clean environment and friendly service. My wife and I shop at Kroger on a regular basis, mainly my wife, however not purchasing the lunch meals from the hot bar. Gds.

Tell have a great selection of food items. You can order online and pull up and they load your groceries in the car for you. Plus the food court / deli / bakery / cheese / beer sections are top notch.

I love this place. It has great variety. The employees are super friendly. It is clean. The butcher has many options and there is also a cheese deli. Not to mention the sushi bar, and a cafe to eat and wifi along side a Starbucks inside. This place is heaven. If there is a zombie apocalypse I will be at Kroger.

Too big for my preferred shopping. I do like having more grocery store choices near Blythewood. Produce section lacks a lot of local and organic produce. Good cheese selection, decent deli selection. Pharmacy, Starbucks, and dime-store stuff.

This store and their staff are AMAZING!! Always friendly staff and good prices. We shop here at least once a week or more.

It is a big store, some say its like Walmart. They have a floral department, produce, bakery, a deli area, a spot for sushi and pan Asian foods. They also have a Starbucks, and an apparel department. They also have a lot of friendly employees who will try their best to help customers.
