If I lived down the street from this place I would walk and buy something everyday. Its small, but full of so much good food and products. I love getting the weekly newsletter to find out whats on sale! I usually pop in once a week or so to grab some things like fresh tomatoes, herbal tonics, and some of the grab and go items like the crispy vegan nuggets (so good even if youre not vegan). It feels more comfortable shopping there than a typical grocery store. I love chatting with the staff and feeling like a part of the community. A place filled with warmth and goodies to spare. The deli is a great spot to get lunch too!

For a nutritious and tasty meal on the run try the deli at Rosewood Market! Dive into a quinoa bowl with sweet potato and black beans topped with sweet corn and guacamole goodness and a delicious cilantro lime drizzle! (Not pictured) This bowl was quite filling, and priced at $11. Forgo the fast food meals that leave you feeling gross and eat local!

The market is located in a historic district of Columbia, SC. Very clean store with a nice size parking lot. They do have a pretty mural outside of the store, I actually love taking pics of murals all over the city! The workers are friendly and welcoming as you enter the store. Everything is well organized and neatly organized on each aisle, they do have some samples to try in the front area.Great place to grab a healthy snack, herbs and organic items. I did pick up a few items for my small business. They have a little bit of this and that, I recommend you give them a try and take your time strolling thru. This is indeed a hidden gem in Columbia. I dont see alot of advertising about store, so now you know where you can pick up some goodies!

We visited this local market in the Rosewood community of Columbia SC, because we was in the nearby area and wanted to get a healthy snack. Theyre conveniently located right on Rosewood Drive, and they have a lot of parking at this location. Its a great store for people that are vegetarian or like to eat more clean and healthier. Inside they have about 6_8 isles of grocery items and a small deli area. They offer fast lunch items to grab and go that can be cold or hot. Upon checkout the staff was wearing face masks and there was social distance between customers.

Too Portland like. It reminded me of the kind of places I didnt like when i was in Portland. If this place is Columbia native owned, I would be shocked. All I saw was expensive stuff, no coffee bar like i would have thought, and like in Portland, the staff makes u wear masks and have that dorkish look to them. I just left. Im not going to bother coming back. I dwell in the hood not in upper middle class places like these if I can help it.

Its so easy to find more local and fresher products here...a great variety of produce and products to fit almost any need. My husband and I have numerous allergies to both medicine and food...here we can find so many things that are not only safe, but enjoyable. He suffers from Celiac Disease... my sister is diabetic...we were able to find a great variety of options that were also very tasty... something that sometimes is hard to do. Seth is fantastic! Always a pleasure to talk to and a wealth of information! A great sense of humor and a true coffee aficionado! We save a lot of money here....and we are eating healthier. The start-up cost is worth it...now we are in a good system of spending that actually leaves us money to buy a few extra treats! Love this place!

I come here because its one of the few places to get a vegan meal in town, but I leave annoyed every time. The deli is so unorganized, always out of stuff, inconsistent etc. I could never stop in if I was in a hurry because it takes a half hour to get one smoothie. The staff clearly needs better training on how to be more efficient and friendly. I wonder how many more times Ill leave upset before I decide to never return.

Go for the fresh veg: The deli is delicious and one of the few good healthy options in town, and the vegetables are local (mostly), flavorful, and inexpensive (if you eat in season). The bulk grain and spices are also a great way to fill cabinets with high quality but not bank busting dry goods. However, the center isle, processed food is very expensive.

I completely understand being passionate about a cause and your convictions. As well, I am all about consistency in one’s behavior when It comes to protecting our environment. After all, I am a mother with young children and with any luck will live to see me grandchildren and the generation that follows. However, is it necessary for the cashiers - one cashier in particular with a short pixie silver white hair cut- to be egregiously rude while informing you that this establishment no longer provides plastic bags for their patrons. To add insult to injury,, she behaves as if you have committed a criminal offense when you inquire about the paper bags sitting in a noticeably large stack within everyone’s view.. Her, response to your request for one is “There will be a charge!” Charges are fair, but the tone and disposition she embodies while notifying you is not. In fact, it is unacceptable and can only be compared to the lecture one might receive when one returns home with hickies all over one ‘s neck after breaking curfew while informing your mother you fully intend to run away with your weed smoking unemployed ex-con boyfriend . When did bagging groceries become so serious? Rosewood market used to be my favorite place to eat when I wanted something healthy and to feel good about my diet and the environment: I no longer shop here as a result this cashiers attitude.

I was an employee at this store because of a desire to live healthy and meet good people. It wasnt about a paycheck for me. I feel its my duty to share my experience here so future members of the community with a willingness to contribute should know in advance of the inability to ask for a day off (even if their mother who is currently in her 4th year of severe alzheimers needed assistance)as well as the seemingly allowance of a hostile work environment.i was terminated because I asked if I could have a day off and provided 3 different days I could do what I needed to get done as well as mention that if I did need to quit that I would respectfully put in a two weeks notice. The kitchen at this location was extremely unorganized and the assistant manager was the only person with any sort of logical advice but this person is basically ignored by his superiors. I came to work everyday with a smile on my face and a willingness to work but was on multiple occasions harrassed by another employee but was told over and over we dont know what to do or yall can figure it out. The harrassment was not only unprovoked but this person was told I dont care to fight and even ignored which seemed go upset them more that they werent getting a reaction out of me. The superiors had the opportunity on many occasions to rewatch any security camera footage which would clearly show them that this person would not only cut corners but literally get in peoples faces while they tried to work and ignore his outbursts but they spoke openly about no desire of pulling any footage and that I should do this or that differently as if they didnt even believe the things I was saying. I was never formally trained and the person who did train me taught me lots of wrong information but I still was able to operate the kitchen alone and get the job done and customer happy each and every time. I sincerely hope the customers I served noticed my desire to give them more than quality service because it was my motivation each day, but for people who go at great lengths to live in harmony to shop somewhere that an employee is noticeably upset each day and doesnt provide proper information for what they eat is wrong. Allowing someone to be harrassed in your business is wrong. Not giving your employees who come in on their days off and has a desire to learn and work hard a single day off is wrong. I feel its my duty to make this aware to those people who could potentially be treated how I was. My voice may not mean much to them and the other departments in this store I am sure do a wonderful job so do not think this is directed at anyone other than the kitchen/deli end. And I do not wish bad things upon this store because I think they have a great message for others but I do know that what happened to me was wrong and the treatment I received from somewhere I was willing to offer my skills for less than I would accept anywhere else WAS WRONG. I urge all customers to double check their questions with someone because from personal experience due to the superiors inability to manage, many employees have wrong information and are being punished for something another person should be held accountable for. If you dont believe me just ask them if the salmon is wild or farm raised. I was laughed at for saying a fish could be raised on a farm by the same employee who harrassed me because fish cant survive on a farm and that I didnt even know what I was saying........ make your own judgements but theres no harm in being sure
