Got what we needed easy peasy. The alcohol section is setup so nice and clean. Loved the beer cooler you can walk in and get already chilled beer. Checked out the prices on some bottles. Found some things more expansive here than other stores. On the plus side workers and guests all wearing masks. Used the wlef checkout and a attendant wiped down the area before we got to it and after we left making sure its clean.

Best grocery store in Columbia. Its clean, orderly and has friendly staff. Its never so busy that I feel crushed like at some other stores. Its also the only place in town to get Boars Head deli stuff too.

My first time in this store and I was impressed. They have an amazing selection in the frozen section! I would have to go to both Target and Walmart to find what this store has.

Definitely feel like this place needs a remodel. Online order area up front looks out of place, store seems in disorder in many departments. Selection of specialty cheeses is awesome and full service meat case was fresh and well stocked. Bakery area and liquor department look messy.

They have a good selection of things but some things are missing. Inexplicably a large bucket of cat litter is something they dont have. It is kind of a high-end place. But they do have very good produce.

Online ordering for curbside pickup was a fiasco. Terrible first experience with the brand. Had to go in-store for my groceries, since I had already made the 25 mile trip before being notified that my confirmed order was not going to be ready until the next day! First and last time. Im disabled and shopping in store is something I avoid. I guess Ill stick with WM, never had a problem in two years of online ordering. Calling the store just confirmed that they dont have a clue on how to provide this service. All the young man who answered could do was blame Instacart, without even providing a number for them. No CS skills whatsoever. I was eventually able to contact Instacart and cancel my order, but the money wont go back to my cards for a few days, according to them. The actual in-store experience was ok, at best. Very overpriced for the most part. Not going back, for sure.

I went to Schnucks to get some pork steaks that were on sale but there was none available. The employee took the extra time to pick out two good roasts and cut them up for me. Could not ask for better customer service.

Im sorry but the store in Washington, Mo was a whole lot better than the Columbia store. Several boxes items were close to expiration & tested stale. The donuts were not fresh. They had no pastries & the bagels were tied up in a plastic bag. Not sure when they were bagged. The Washington store was a delight.

They were the only store in Columbia and surrounding areas that had what weve been looking for, for 3 weeks, canned Tamales! We bought 6 of the 9 cans that they had. VERY HAPPY!!!

Its one of those grocery stores you go to if you think normal grocery stores have too many poor people in them- The lighting is weird and everything is neurotically organized in an unsettling way. Go here if you for some want to spend more money for the same stuff.

Schnucks is great, shopping there for 30 years, my late mother in law introduced me to them when I came to CoMo as a wife of her son, never in the US previously.Just wanted to share an experience - shopping there on 8/25/2020 at 4 pm - middle age ( like myself), rich looking and self entitled female at Chevy suburban 5YAN60 license plate was rude to my question why she is walking without a face mask and using entrance as an exit. Mind your own business she screamed.I am a physician and if I, and everyone else is wearing mask, why not her?People like her destroy American middle class.Beware of her likes.

Schnucks is a fine grocery store. They are one of my preferred choices for groceries in Columbia. I often end up there for lunch. Their hot food is simple, but tasty and inexpensive.Other than that they have a large wine and spirits department with lots of options and some great sale prices.With friendly staff and a wide selection, they could easily be your one stop grocery store.

The new layout / exit from the self-checkout area is THE SAME space you use to walk into the Store!!! Doesnt seem logical in normal times let alone during a pandemic.

Prices are NOT the highest in town on every item, contrary to popular myth. Nevertheless, the selection of fresh foods (produce and meat) is fantastic and the atmosphere is sparkling clean. It is a completely pleasant experience to shop here and I do so almost daily.

This is the only grocery store in Columbia that sells Vess sodas, which is a St Louis soda company. Theyre very good

If you need help theres always someone.one thing Id like to suggest if they go back to making sandwiches as they did that very well but cut back and help and the deli and changes in the way they run the deli they eliminated making sandwiches used to make hot sandwiches at least now they dont. My parents and I are regulars. We go here all the time instead of other places. But I think we are gonna start going somewhere else. Its gone downhill lately. Less and less people working there. Little to no baggers. Every time we usually have to bag our own groceries. Not a whole lot of smiley faces either. Pretty tense environment. We spend a lot of money here weekly, and it seems like we just dont get good enough customer service anymore.

I love this store. It is always clean and full of friendly, knowledgeable staff. The bakery and deli are full of fresh, amazing selections, as is the produce department. The store is well organized and well stocked. The only downside is that unless there ia a good sale, the prices are more than the other grocery stores in town.

If you have the membership card, then the prices are pretty fair. The four self checkout stations are really convenient. Staff is often polite and helpful. There is a wide variety of beer, spirits, wine, etc. And the spicy tuna and salmon rolls are decent (better than many other grocery store sushi).

Very good produce price and quality, great butcher, fair deli. Bakery not very good, store-made bread has not ever tasted same-day fresh to me, maybe they dont actually bake it fresh in-store. Nice beer cave. Kind of high prices on prepackaged or frozen foods, if you like that sort of thing.

Schnucks is our go to grocery store in Columbia. They have a wide selection of kosher, oriental and ethnic products. Also many options for no-salt-added and low sodium varieties as well. The produce department is well stocked, offers a wide variety and provides consistent high quality fruits and veggies. We love the boar’s head brand deli meats and cheeses available, as well as the on-site kaldi coffee shop.

They have the best deli personal ever. I go here for almost every lunch break and all the staff out a smile on my face everyday. I is a joy to come here and I am so amazed at how a store can hire so many great employees in one place. Thank you Schnucks for all your great deals and good hiring!

This is probably my favorite grocery store in Columbia. It is always clean and the products are well marked. Ive always found employees to be helpful and polite. Their produce section is one of the better ones in town.

Service is great. The sandwiches are really good. The floral is great and so it the meat and seafood departments. I always feel like I get a good deal and I love my Schnucks! The wine specials on Wednesday s rock. The cheese department is one of the best in town, also the deli carries a lot of things you can not buy anywhere else in Columbia!

Sometimes the produce is great. Other times its terrible. On a good day though...I is some of the freshest around. IMO

First and foremost, they have the best donuts anywhere for the price! The store is kept fairly clean and organized. You might find some good sales on meat close to expiration on the back. Definitely good place to start if you need something to cook up tonight.

When I cant go to a mom and pop florist I choose Schnucks floral because usually it is kept nice and the flowers are nice. Keep in mind that flowers are perishable and yes there will be some that arent good. But like I said, usually I am happy with what I get from the floral department.

Good selection. Decent prices. Just be careful and watch the dates! We’ve gotten home with milk, cottage cheese, and guacamole past their “sell by” or “use by” dates. Someone isn’t doing their job.

Why can’t they figure out Apple Pay? They were early adopters and it worked great, then it didn’t. Then it worked sometimes, then it didn’t again. Now they have new credit card machines and it hardly works at all! This shouldn’t be rocket science. It works everywhere else.I like the store (well, it’s a grocery store) but this bit of incompetence is irksome.

A spectacular store with so many options for any dietary need, whether overworked bachelor or massive family or people with Celiac, lactose-intolerance, or any other allergen intolerance. Theres an ACTUALLY legit international section too! The store is dim-lit, well-organized, clean, and quiet, unlike a lot of other grocery stores with blaring overstimulating lights and horrid acoustics. Me and my autistic partner fare very well in here. And while they may be a bit pricey, this is more than offset by their constant wide-reaching sales, delightful rewards program, and hoard of coupons!Their employees have a UNION!!!! And thus, are the NICEST employees me or my family have ever met in our lives. Not once have we been snapped at or gotten the impression were a burden, and they kindly go out of their way to help or accommodate us whenever we ask. Its just such a nice atmosphere thats welcoming to everyone, including young children (with tiny baby shopping carts!!) and people with disabilities (with a formidable stock of electric scooters and wide aisles!).

The customer service here is excellent. They have helped me search the store to find my little girls favorite stuffed animal shed lost, and just today the associate in flowers came out to the parking lot to give me the bouquet I had left with her to wrap while I shopped but forgotten to pick up. Non-sale prices can be high compared to other stores in town; thats the only thing that keeps this from being five stars.

My husband and I were passing through Columbia and looking for a good grocery store to stock up for our trip. This place was great! Theyre open early and stay open late, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the prices werent bad for the quality of food and fresh produce. Theres also a little coffee shop (currently, the worlds happiest barrista seems to work there) with nice specialty drinks. They have a good vatiety, and even have a pretty good international section. Go Schnucks!

It is very hard for handicaped person to have yo park in the handicaped spots and when finised shopping have to walk around the front of the building to get back to your car
