Everything in this home was built cheaply. The air ducts are in the ceiling, but no crawl space to access them. And even if you can make an access point you have no room to move up there. All of our hinges on doors had to be replaced. The microwave went out, but they made it so you have to remove the cabinets to put a new over the range microwave in. Not to mention we have a 60 gallon tub but they only put in a 40 gallon hot water heater which doesnt come close to filling the tub. This place is horrible!
Drove 1.5 hours to get there on a Saturday. Only to find the gates closed at 3:15pm. Update your hours please. Went around the corner, to a different dealer without incident.
Tina was amazing, the front desk staff and the other gentleman were all very nice. Very impressed with the sales presentation, the industry knowledge the staff has, and the QUALITY of the homes. Deer Valley appears to build a higher quality, heavier built home then some of the other dealers weve been too, like Clayton... Tina gave us more insight and help in 5 mins then anyone else did in an entire visit. Were buying our home from Tina at Dinkins, will update this review later. We are feeling very ready and excited after today!

My MIL purchased a unit from Dinkins. When it was received we went over it and created a punch list. Two items, a cracked kitchen window and an out of whack storm door, have STILL not been fixed. Dinkins says Champion should fix it and Champion says its Dinkins responsibility. It has been a nightmare and STILL not fixed. Champion refuses to return any calls. I would not recommend either company at this point. They BOTH need to stand behind their products!
That had a good selection of homes and let you browse the houses without asking you questions.
I would not buy a home from anywhere else there staff is top notch, very professional and honest 100% ive sent lots of people there and they all have the same thing to say about this company. i bought a house from austin an he was amazing he helped me step by step through the whole process an even went out of his way to help even if it didnt have anything to do with there homes i would highly recomend dinkins to anyone and everyone an not think twice.THEY CARE ABOUT YOU AN YOUR NEEDS AN FINDING YOU A HOME AN NOT THE COMMISSION CHECK!

Very unprofessional staff your left on your own with no customer service i had deposit and was promised the house but after being 45 mins late i come in to be informed they sold it to someone else i felt like i was dealing with snake oil salesmen (Austin) i would never recommend them to any family or friends very disappointed in there shady tactics i felt completely alone and uninformed if i could 0 star i would not a way to gain repeat customers

I purchased my home in July 2016 from Columbia. When I came to the lot to see my home I noticed it was not ordered like I wanted also pointed out at that time of shingles being damaged. Today they are still damaged even after I put them on my list of repairs that I turned into them. Also on my list was my tiles in my shower where it looks like a bunch of kids put it together and not professionals this is still not fixed and was also turned in on list. I have cuts in the kitchen and bathroom floors that are getting bigger that was on the list not fixed. They left a door off and was supposed to have replace the door casing was not done. I have cracks in my ceilings and drywall also turned in that has not fixed. My old home was on a hill no one from Dinkins came to my property they just let contractors do whatever and they dug a hole so now when it rains I walk out of my home through a creek of water to get to my vehicles. I borrowed extra for extra things and have requested invoices for how my money was spent and I still cannot get that. Now not sure what is going on with my electric but I cannot use my plugs in either of my bathrooms because the breaker keeps tripping. Try blow drying your hair and curling it takes about 15 plus trips to the breaker box. I am constantly replacing the light bulbs in the bathrooms. I fear my home is going to catch fire at any moment. I bought this home by myself and feel because I was a woman I was taken advantage of. I am now stuck with a home I am not happy with that is a now a huge money pit with all the repairs that need to be done. VERY DISSATISFIED!!!!
After having a horrible experience with Meadows Homes in Lebanon we met with Tina at Dinkins and she was WONDERFUL. We decided to purchase elsewhere due to financial and time constraints (another lot had our dream home on site and were willing to sell the model) but I wanted to acknowledge how wonderful and helpful she was after our horrible experience elsewhere! I would highly recommend her if you are looking for your new home.
Staff is friendly. I like how you can walk through the houses by yourself without anyone hovering over you.
Be real careful with the really nice salesman. You may not get what you pay for. Im going through it now. Told I would be in our house for Thanksgiving. Still not in. Finishes not what we were told we were getting. They seem not to want to fix them unless I give more . money. Good luck

After being pitched by a good salesman last year 44 YEARS BBB accredited blah blah we purchased a modular and put it on permanent foundation by champion being the builder, we have been in our home 2 months last November I was told 14 weeks ha! We contacted our salesman Bill about the A/C unit, then again about gutters to get a text back I left that company a month ago really?? Thanks for letting us know! Our home is falling apart left and right! We paid 150,000 tried to contact dinkins they dont return calls or emails horrible place thats full of lies!
Dont get me wrong really nice salesman we dealt with but make sure you get everything in writing. If doing an FHA loan make sure you know the requirements as some there dont and it is very specific regulations. Ron Kelly seems to be aware of the requirements so I would suggest working with him if that is the way you have to go. When signing the agreement on the house make sure you ask if that locks in your price in case of a price increase or if the 20% down is required to lock it in. Make sure that you tell them to keep you updated on anything as that lacked alot. Happy with our Deervalley home and the guys from deervalley. Not too happy with some of the contractors that Dinkins used on some of the things that the lot is responsible about doing. Be very vocal as you are spending your money and should have it the way you want it.
