Really enjoyed taking my dog out to dinner. Ginos was dog friendly. We sat outside and had a good meal. Additionally, Ginos offered a good deal on the kids menu. The staff was accommodating. Nice back room but rather enjoy outdoor seating and nice weather with my pup MAX

Food was bland. I had vodka sauce over pasta with grilled chicken. I didnt bring it up to the waitress, or anyone else, because I never send food back. I was with my family, but dont recall what everyone had, but the consensus was that the food was bland across the board.

My husband goes there for 2 slices of pizza and wine while I shop in Trader Jones He said he loves the pizza crust better than mine.

Wow! Not your ordinary Pizzeria! Ginos of Commack is a Restaurant, Bar, and a Pizzeria. Located in a Shopping Center right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Their plain Cheese slice ($2.82), which is how you rate a Pizzeria is Gold Standard. All the other food looked great as well. Most importantly, the staff treats you like family. Live music on Monday nights. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommended......

We tried this pizzeria for the first time with a Groupon deal. Everything that came with the deal was delicious. So second time we thought of trying something else. Most of their speciality pies costs around $23 but when we ordered combination pie (half n half...We had ordered half vegetarian & half chicken buffalo. Veges were bland, no salt.) & it was $35! Seriously? We often order it from other pizzerias but have never been charged so much more. It’s normally price of the higher end pizza among the two combinations. We might have missed some ‘Terms & Conditions’!

I cannot thank Gino’s enough for their kindness yesterday. I ordered one pie to the nursing facility in Commack where I work and they donated 3 extra pies...even cut them into mini slices for ease! It was such a nice surprise and really meant a lot to our staff. During this difficult time, gestures like Gino’s are truly heartwarming and much appreciated.😘😘

There pizza is amazing and I’ve been here many times. But I made a pickup order which no one ended up working on until I got there. I didn’t care until I realize they decided to compensate by making my entire order cold. The item I ordered outside a simple plain slice was cold and packaged in tin foil- which they never removed- just put it in the stove for 2 minutes and let me waste $10 on cold food that looked absolutely disgusting and was literally cold. In these times, the last thing you do is serve cold food. Honestly just really erked me the wrong way- hence this poor review. Even my pizza was cold- absolutely disgusting and terrible service. Normally this doesn’t happen- I didn’t think they were even capable of such service- hence 2 stars.

We stopped in for lunch last week, one guest ordered butternut squash soup for her appetizer. The chef made it fresh. Our waiter was constantly checking on her soup. The food was excellent and so much. I had lunch and dinner from my chicken parmigiana

Great food, lovely service. Portions were big and yummy. We had the meatballs, riceballs and garlic bread with mozzarella. That was a good meal.

No one at front of restaurant to greet you. Service was good. Ordered chicken parm. The pasta was a little over cooked and the tomato sauce was very watery. The chicken was good and plentiful.

Good counter service and great food. Only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because their delivery can improve. They tend to be late and had 1 experience where the delivery guy didnt feel like 10% wasnt enough and told me. Very rude to do that.

Great ambience, superb staff, delicious food. The chicken orzo soup and the chicken avocado wrap were stellar. Pizza was good as well. We went with little kids, and they were the only kids there. Not a loud place, we were worried that the kids would disturb the other diners, but the staff could not have been more welcoming. Seriously, try that chicken orzo soup (soup of the day)!

Personal pizzas were fantastic. Opted for the Cauliflower crust on two of them. They were excellent also. The chicken francese was also great. Large portions clean restaurant and great service.

Several occasions ordered a pizza well done, very well done, and very very well done. Same cooked pizza Everytime. For a so so pizza, you would think theyd listen when calling in an order. Ginos of commack is the best! I just moved to East Northport. Ordered twice and the food is delish! Steak frits, penne alla vodka sauce bomb, chicken roll,ceasars salad bomb bomb! I used to live in queens and I know food. Ginos great job guys! Keep it up!

Delicious Italian food. I had the shrimp oregano and it was amazing. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable.

Just dreadful is the most generous thing I can say about this place. We came here for dinner recently, at approximately 8:30, ninety minutes before closing, primarily because my wife thought the smells coming from the kitchen outside were inviting. Walking in the door, the place is very bright and nicely decorated. The guys behind the pizza counter were welcoming and the pizza looked fresh from where we stood. A waitress led us to the dining room, off to the left and past a bar. The bar was unoccupied, and apparently was where the staff hung out when they were not busy. There was a jacket thrown on the bar along with a cell phone and some other unattended personal belongings. One jacket was on the back of another chair a few feet from the other jacket.We were seated and a bus boy brought us water quickly. The waitress was by soon after and was pleasant enough. One thing that we noticed when we walked in was that there were several tables that were not bussd and had dirty dishes on them along with some scraps on the floor. We figured we were just behind a rush and were glad we didnt have to wait. The app, came out pretty quickly and was tasty. It was also very hot, obviously right out of the fryer. So far so good. Our dinners took another 30 minutes to be delivered. We could have chalked it up to a busy kitchen but at that point there were just 4 tables with patrons, and everyone had their food. As we sat waiting for dinner, a few of the remaining guests left their tables and at that point we realized that the bus boys were no longer clearing tables. They left piles of dirty dishes and food on every used table in the dining room. Not one time did anyone clear ANY of the empty tables nor did anyone take away our appetizer plates or salad bowls.Our food arrived and we were pleased to have received generous portions. Unfortunately the food was cold. Not an exaggeration, it was COLD. I dont enjoy smoking hot food and usually prefer it to cool a bit, but these dishes had been forgotten to die on the pass while the waitress was nowhere to be found. While we would consider neither meal to be bad, they werent really special. Not especially well made or flavorful. Remarkably, at one point, I went to the restroom and walked past 2 employees sitting at different empty tables across from the pizza counter playing on their phones. In my world if they have time to lean, they have time to clean and it just seemed that the staff was content to lock the doors before cleaning up for the night. Or perhaps, leaving the mess for the morning crew.It was so disappointing that there was no manager or anyone who cared about anything going on in this business. We see no reason to ever to return and really cant recommend it.

Food was pretty good to be quite honest, the cauliflower crust is way better than any of their pizza.However, Ive never experienced such inappropriate behavior with waitstaff before. A waitress who looked to be a teenager was drinking and giggling about in the corner next to the table my family was sat at. I had no choice but to overhear giggling and rude comments about xyz. In the past when Ive dined here, Ive never gotten a good vibe off the people running it. To the younger women out there, the owner has lurky eyes so beware. Ive heard him along with pizza guys make outrageous comments about women, its as if they dont even care. This is not a business I want in my community, if you do decide to go, listen and watch... its bizarre.

Went to Ginos this past week for dinner, and was extremely disappointed by the service. Our waitress, Anna I think, could not be more inattentive if she tried. There were multiple issues with our food that were not addressed properly, being that the waitress was nowhere to be found. When my husband got up to look for the waitress, he found her socializing with the staff instead of checking in on us. The food itself was subpar, and the service was disappointing. Will not be returning.

Called and ordered 3 pies and was told 10-15 minutes. My friend went to pick up for me they did not even make them stating they forgot. !!! First and last time they will see me. I told him to tell them forget it. Their loss, between us we order 6 pies weekly, sometimes as many as 12.

It was with great hope that I embarked on my first visit to Ginos. It was previously the site of Olio, a good go to place that unfortunately went to pieces when new ownership came in.Upon entry, I was very pleased with the bright decor. Excellent complete transformation. A welcome relief from having to use a cell phone flash light to read the menu.The service was superb from top to bottom.The problem is the food. Very mediocre. But my hope remains, as this can be fixed by scalling back from the stereotypical Italian - most of which is way too pre-prepared - and getting a Chef with some real flare. Such will easy add a star or two to this review.

My experience was absolutely garbage.2 slices & 2 drinks were $13.00!My margarita slice was dripping in garlic and my husbands barbecue slice fell apart and had raw onions on it.I give this place 1 star I don’t plan on coming back again.
