The fresh bread is excellent. Homemade brownies, excellent (I hate brownies w frosting!). The herbs, excellent. Other foods and prepared foods are pricey. Staff was nice

Great fresh fish selection. Absolutely reasonably priced compared to other markets. Highly recommend. Produce can be a bit pricey compared to Trader Joes. You will find the freshwst produce here on tueaday and Friday. Look for local sales on organic products..there will be many.

My go to store when I dont want to hit the larger supermarkets. Great for a variety of cheeses, produce, meats and seafood. Just need to know your prices. Not always less expensive.

Great local market. They have wonderful selections of cheeses. Also a butcher shop and fish monger. Very reasonable and fresh fruits and vegetables. They have a terrific deli department and fresh bakery. Well worth a trip to shop there.

I shop here anytime I need more produce. Its cheap, high quality, and a very wide selection of different fruits and veggies. The selection of products here allows me to cook a VERY wide range of cultural meals. They have every form of vegan and vegetarian alternative. Their prepared foods are fantastic and their bread, THE BREAD, do not skip out on the bakery. Their semolina alone is enough for a visit.Just visit and see for yourself. They recently opened a location on the Smith town/hauppauge border as well.

The store itself is very good, but the parking and parking lot is very sub par. You WILL see a zoo and lots of risk of parking lot car damage if you go often enough.

I wish the deli would listen to your order. If you ask for 1/2 pound, you want a 1/2 pound, not 3/4 of a pound. Then they get angry when you ask them to take some off.

Excellent Products and Service!

Clean. The bakery is fantastic, in particular the pizza and sourdough bread. We only shop here for the freshest fish in the area, I like the salmon and scallops in particular. First time at the North Shore Farms in Commack and it was by far, the biggest one Ive been to in the chain. As with their other locations, all the things they are known for are great - deli, cheese, produce and prep goods still shine - just bigger! Nice to have regular sized aisles to walk through. :)

Great health market wide aisles and delicious food baked goods etc. this store is located in the old waldbaums thats been here forever which closed 2012 and this place opened 2014 been shopping here since 8th grade in middle school and its been a great store ever since if your into health foods or vegan you must come here i guarantee this is worth your gas money please come visit your gonna love it

Staff friendly and helpful

A very good shopping experience all around at this store. Fresh bakery breads, a large assortment of cheeses an impressive deli section. All types of fresh coffee beans. Wonderful fresh produce. And many sample tables throughout the store. My wife and I really enjoy shopping here and although its not in our town, we take the 25 minute drive to go there as it is always more then worth the trip. I highly recommend this store to everyone who is looking for quality foods and an excellent shopping experience

I call this my neighborhood friendly whole foods knock off but betteribetter! Its got all the healthy organic offerings that high end health food supermarkets offer, but feels very cozy, friendly and meshes the different cultures of the demographics it serves. Their food is fresh, their produce is plentiful, the prices are good and the staff is accommodating, helpful and bilingual.

Just enough for evereyday groceries

Vegetables are fresh. They give samples of cheese and food. They have some amazing deals for the weekend shoppers. Sushi is always fresh and delicious and if you are there early enough they will make sushi to order.

Great bread...

Produce is fresh, fresh and did I mention fresh? I can find my traditional Mediterranean ingredients here which is a HUGE plus. I dont mind paying a little extra for the convenience of a one stop shop. I recently moved to Kings Park and thus far, this is the closest and best supermarket option for organic living. Aside from the mainstream supermarkets. I highly recommend this place! Great vibes!

Good produce, fresh fish, nice meat dept. Amazing, best variety of cheeses, imports, salami, olives and delicacies. But, if they run out of an item, dont expect to find it again anytime soon. And in so far as the more day to day items, limited variety and extra pricey.

Good place, a little expensive

Although it can be pricey, the bakery department is top notch and the produce selection is one of the best in the area. They also have cheeses that I have only ever found in France or Italy (naturally those were expensive but its great to have products from home). Great coffee bean selection as well! Outside of that, normal groceries that you can find anywhere else are more expensive than other local shops.

Nice selection and sometimes samples to taste. Good prices on highlighted items, otherwise a pit higher than typical supermarket. Nice selection hot foods, fresh backed breads and salad. Plenty of parking in the lot. Lines can be slow if anything other than ringing a sale is done (returns and price adjustments means get off the line).

Its a nice big market but there are no motorized scooters. Their prices are on the high side but I feel their food is worth it. I mainly go there for fresh fish and their produce. The veggies you find you cant find in other stores... There are a lot of prepared foods and they accept food stamps.

The best baked Read on Long Island

The fish market has a great selection of fresh fish, not over priced. Who doesnt love a bakery making their own breads and pastries? All of the prepared food here are great when your in a pinch. Love this supermarket, so happy they replaced the supermarket that was here before.

Great place to buy produce. Bakery is really good. You can get a very nice lunch deal there from the hot deli counter. I am giving it 3 stars because of the parking. People there are very careless and they feel entitled. Park at your own risk there.

Pricey but worth the deli and produce

No complaints about the workers at the North Bellmore store, who are polite and helpful. But if the issue is one that must be addressed by the ownership, you will be treated as if you are not worthy of corporate’s attention. Your polite and well documented communication will be completely ignored, and you won’t receive even a perfunctory reply. Perhaps they feel you just aren’t worth it.

Good selection of take-out soups, wonderful different types of fresh baked breads and an unbelievable selection of international cheese. Cant think of a better place to buy cheese. Some varieties are, however, a little pricey.

In times of crisis, they had everything you need and responsibly rationed items such as toilet paper. Best store Ive ever been to!

I am writing this review as a customer since their local arrival. I find the store underwhelming and the prices exorbitant. The service is frankly apathetic and when you request something, there is little incentive to not only provide, but to act. There are some areas of quality, but most of it can be eschewed given a more dominate feeling that they are providing a favor by working with you than a service. I would submit that there are excellent stores like this around Long Island and I just cannot justify a special trip to frequent this chain. The food is good, however good is not the bar.

They have lots of prepared hot and cold food for lunch or take out if you dont want to cook for dinner. Sushi, soups and chopped salads too. All pretty reasonably priced. Bakery, fresh fish and a good selection of meat and poultry too.

Holy produce and cheese selection!

Best tasting bread. Offer a wide array of specialty breads, cheeses, spreads. They always offer free samples of cheese, spreads, breads. Great tasting chicken sausage and fresh seafood. Their deli offers many prepared items and also several hot food selections.

Deli guy looks at you and just stands there looks like hes high hes always the rude one there the girls are very good. Bakery is their only really good person there she is the best and always helpful.

The newly revised produce department offers fresh produce a very competitive prices. Theyre prepared food section is enormous and they have a good selection of house baked goods. The specials that are run weekly are also very competitive

New favorite market! Tons of premade food items, amazing fish market, great deli. Dont get me started on the cheese, better selection then any cheese monger I have ever visited, including in NYC. I cannot believe the produce... So much variety, and great quality.

Easy to see right off of Vanderbilt Motor Parkway servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheel chair accessible. Many other stores and restaurants. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Daily food and drink specials. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.

Excellent service and friendly knowledgeable staff. I ordered the superbowl special deal and it was delicious. They make the best wings and the heroes were perfect. The bakery has the best marble cheesecake on long island. I wouldnt order catering from any other store, North Shore Farms is the best.

This store has wonderful selection, the foods always fresh, and the staff have been helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I am unable to do our weekly shopping here -- the selection for too many items like paper goods,pet foods, cleaning supplies is too small. However, I love to get their produce, meats, salads, cheeses, seafood and prepared foods. It truly has changed our quality of life having such a fine market just a few traffic lights from the house. My only complaint is the parking lot. It should have better marked one way signs, drivers routinely ignore this and the lanes are too narrow for opposing lanes of traffic.

I love the produce. I buy my meats and chicken and fish here. It offers tastes of cheeses, which are great, but when I get them home and open, they have a plastic taste, so I dont buy. I do taste in store though! They have a fantastic suchi bar and homemade soup and bread. Their cereals, nutter butter jelly, and many items are more expensive. Its usually a quick visit, as the parking is good and they dont keep moving stuff around like some stores do. The cashiers and food stock people are helpful. They have a fresh fish bar- which I buy from. Its very good. I love their new almond butter machine and honey peanut butter, but they are pricey. Theres a pizza place and pet store, candy store, liquor store etc. all next to North Shore Farms, which makes it a convenient place to go. Mc Donalds and bagel, candy store, and even more!
