Very nice whole foods, not super busy and well stocked friendly and helpful staff
Place has great produce and very friendly and courteous. Meat department is really not what i expected. Needed something grounded and they said it couldnt be done. Couldnt find ground pork and they wouldnt go out of their way to show me where it was. Asked a customer for help and they graciously pointed me in the right direction.
Great place for specialty food for people that have special needs with their diet. Both my wife and daughter love this place because it has a wide selection of gluten-free and dairy-free products. All their fruits and vegetables are very fresh then meat selection is excellent and the staff is also very pleasant if you need any help.
MY FAVORITE WHOLE FOODS MARKET.ALL THE STAFFS ARE EXTREMELY KIND,HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL.THERES A FILIPINA GIRL CALLED DANIELLE,WHO WORKS IN PRODUCE,SHES THE BEST OF THE BEST.I WONDER IF SHE EVER GETS TIRED OR MAD.SHES EXTREMELY CORTEOUS.ID WORKED THERE AS AN AMAZON PRIME SHOPPER FOR OVER A YEAR.THE STAFFS MAKE MY EXPERIENCE LESS STRESSFUL.I CANT FORGET PIERRE THE FRENCH GUY WHO SOMETIMES WORKS AT THE COFFEE SHOP;SUCH AN AWESOME PERSON.ALL THE STAFFS ARE AMAZING.THEY ALWAYS OFFER THEIR ASSISTANCE BEFORE YOU EVEN ASK,ESPECIALLY DANIELLE AND PIERRE.THE PLACE IS VERY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED.STAFFS ARE VERY QUICK .IVE BEEN WANTING TO WRITE THIS REVIEW.👏🏿👍🏿
Was great place to drop off Amazon returns
They have nice variety of products. They were a little bit pricey before but now I find them more affordable. Usually their products are really fresh and they have some “special diet” items are hard to find elsewhere.
Good Luck to this bright shiny gem of a store. I popped in on opening day to find this beautiful store stocked up with tons of new brands available for purchase. Yes the lines were long. It will all settle down. They have a nice sitting area and pizza parlor. As well as an awesome butcher, cheese, fish, deli, bread specialty areas. Quite a change from the former King Kullen. Pop in when you have time.
This is a pretty good whole foods nice big and spacious the opening has vegetables, fruits and cheese, nuts, coffee all the normal stuff then home and health care benefits for you and your family, then as you go in your find the sauces italian food then the snacks and so much its a definitely a worth while trip to go in and just check it out and you will most likely purchase something its definitely 10/10... Also the meat is very good blows the other meat at places out of the water. The hot bar has a lot of options and there is a make your own salad a little pizza parlor and sandwich station. I would recommend going if you havent already. I will definitely be coming back.
Everyone loves this store, including our baby girl. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. The products are fresh and well take care of.
Brand new Whole Foods Market in Commack. They have a ton of selections and lots of organic choices as well. The place is only like two weeks old so its supper clean, neat and organized. The prepared food is fantastic. We went for a few things and ended up getting lunch there. Its great that they opened one in Suffolk County.
Nice Fully stocked.Good variety. Fresh baked breads are great.
This is the store for responsibly sourced food. If it matters where your food comes from, how it’s produced and if the farmers are fairly compensated, that’s one reason to shop here.If you like in season fruits and veggies, organic variety and specialty foods, this is your store.Sure it’s pricey, sometimes, know that you’re worth it. The farmers, fish mongers and other food industry leaders in qualitative food are worth it too. They deserve to be compensated for their efforts to provide food you can feel good about. The layout of the store is excellent. With the recent Covid-19 adjustments, they offer hand sanitizer, cashiers wear gloves, they sanitize keypads between users and clean the carts. Social distancing is encouraged and directional arrows are placed for easy to flow shopping. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.Let’s protect them too and socially distance ourselves.Love this place.
I want to take this opportunity to recognize the FANTASTIC customer service I receive every time I shop. The staff provides great assistance and reflects the core values of Whole Foods. An organization that supports local businesses and shows a global responsibility is important to me and my family.Although; the entire staff is wonderful I want to recognize a few people that embody the meaning of excellence. In the Meat department - James, Josh, Jon, Oscar, Wan and Peter. In the Seafood department - David, Jay and Thomas. The entire Front End Staff -They keep the check-out experience organized no matter how busy the store is that day.Thank you,Bill
Deli meats and cheese are gross bc they are so thick cut.. you ask thin and they cut so thick... this is 3rd time this happened. Employees back there look like they hate their life when you walk up and ask for something. Also very thick cut at the precut station..
By far my favorite grocery store in the area to shop at!
I loved it.so clean .they have everything.anything you need they got . From non-organic to organic. Produce was incredible the meat department was like you lived in Texas .it was my first time there . Definitely going back to do my shopping. Work is a real smiles happy to help......
Over priced generic brand foods and over pretentious customers. Ill never get the appeal of this place.
Nice sized Whole foods. They have everything you could imagine and then some. Be careful those items in your cart add up real quick. Store was clean and staff was friendly.
Clean, organized and modern experience.
They used to carry an organic mango lassi drink. I am bummed they no longer have it.
I live lidl but this one even though just opened kind of turned me off
Went there for Amazon return, customer service by entrance and staff member very helpful, pleasant and quicl
My wife and I love Whole Foods. I feel like they get a bad name for being super expensive or only having pretentious items but in reality we always find really, really good deals on high quality meat, fish, produce and other items. Almost all of their staff are friendly and helpful and they keep the store very clean. Id highly recommend giving it a shot if youve never been.
My favorite Wholefoods. Every department is well-run, though I am bummed that they no longer offer fresh stir fry.
Overpriced. Understaffed, And I miss their Pizza
Having this whole foods in Commack is awesome and couldnt wait for them to open. Really clean and such a great selection of high quality and locally sourced products. Staff are really kind and helpful and even help with product recommendations.
I love this place. Its clean. A little pricey but worth it for the quality you get. I go there every week for my fruits and vegetables.
The shopping experience at wholefoods has changed!! Grocery shopping used to to be no muss no fuss while you took time to restock and replenish for your household, maybe take time to peruse and discover new items to add to your rotation. Now shopping at wholefoods is hunger games- ish..between dodging the Amazon, Instacart, any other online shopping service..shoppers your constantly bumping into or being bumped into, almost run overir having the area you want to get to blocked. I know times have changed and there is a reason why online shopping has increased but there needs to be some rules at least so the in-store shopping experience doesnt diminish for folks who are still able and still want to purchase their own groceries.
Im really enjoying this place. My best friend is an organic aficionado. Whole Foods is one of the best places for her and they have great deals. Ill likely end up being a convert soon thanks to this store.
Love it wish we had one
Fantastic options.
Expensive, clean, spacious, busy. There was a wait to get into the store. The staff is friendly. The produce is fresh.
Just to say... excellent! BABABOOM. when to bakery got my cake easy fast cordial service... not complaining at all.. very clean at this location. People around keeping the distance fast pick up... and faster eating this delicious strawberry 🍓 shortcake 🍰 YES I LOVE SWEETS!! They have plenty great selections. 100% recommended this place. Be all safe and keeping healthy 🙏 muuuah
Very good place, kind people and top brands.
Love this place !
In a class by itself...try their tzatziki...the best around...everything topnotch!
Whole Foods in Commack, NY is easily the nicest one. The place is super clean, always well stocked and has the best produce department Ive ever seen. Their butternut squash soup is my favorite thing here. I cant say enough about the people that work there. They work so hard to keep everything stocked and tidy and still manage to smile, answer questions and help you find things. The cheese department is awesome and the guy that usually works there (cant remember his name) is the best!!
Our Cashier was very helpful & gave us money off our Order.Lots of plant based Vegan food .Go Vegan XxX
First time visiting this store. This is easily the cleanest grocery store in the area - everything looks clean and smells clean. They are paying far more attention to their produce, meat, and sea food counters than most other stores as everything available for purchase is fresh and tidy.Their overall selection of items seems lower than most other stores but, they had everything we needed and we were able to buy products here that we could not get at other grocery stores.
Got beef stew and it was so so salty I couldn’t even eat it. Looking for healthy alternatives...Whole Foods isn’t it
Always out of stock on no salt added items. French fries, whole foods Brand 8 oz mozzarella . No salt added potato chips, list goes on and on. Spoke to manager about the 5 trips for nothing.. manager just shrugged shoulders.. going elsewhere from now on..
They really need to limit the Amazon shoppers, I never feel comfortable shopping there anymore. They have taken over the place and are very rude. It feels like the store values them more than their in-person shoppers. They should have a separate warehouse for amazon shoppers. Enough.
Very coordinated with the covid 19 guidelines. Security at the door controlling the amount of people allowed to enter into the store.
Love this place
Delicious hamburger ready to grill
Easy to find various items I was looking forA bit busy but lines moving accordingly
Awesome Market place! Staff is really nice there and I love everything that they have! :)
Went to whole food the other was very disappointed in cooked food section the stale smell in that area was vey nauseatingWondered how people can shop over there with fishy smell lingering in the store
A bit pricey but good
Very large supermarket. Products Leaning towards the healthy. Sorting a clientele similar to Trader Joes. But unlike Trader Joes decent prices, this store is very overpriced. Just because something is healthy or gmo and gluten free, doesnt mean it has to be expensive.
Great Whole Foods, and good selection of food, but some of the times the dairy is expired, or soon to be. Also, since it is a new Whole Foods, I would expect some EV Charging, like in California, but there is none. I think it would be a great addition to the Whole Foods. The pizza parlor has great food options, as well as the old fashion theme, and retro games, such as pinball, which is free to play to all customers. I would recommend this grocery store
I love this store! With a wide array of vegan snacks and fresh produce, this place is like paradise for a vegan like myself! The atmosphere is relaxing, and, if one is a on Amazon Prime member, the prices are very reasonable. I have never tried any of their hot or cold prepared foods, but their smell is absolutely mouth watering!
Clean and fresh 👌
Great place large variety sanitary stations entering and exiting the building
Great food lots of variety.
Employees at the bakery are rude !!! I’m a shopper there sometimes it’s so hard to ask employees for help they’re not nice
Great place to shop, lines were s little long to enter bug it was worth the wait.
VERY NICE STORE
They need to put an end to these professional shoppers. They seem to think they own the place and tend to just hover in packs and get in everyones way.
Very helpful employees.
Fully stocked with quality products all the way thru. Meats, dairy, baked, produce, personal & pet care, beers e.t.c., all covered, with a special emphasis on organics.
I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the Commack Whole Foods as it is much closer to my house, however I waited one week for the crowds to die down.First, I was very impressed with the new location. It feels very new and modern, everything is in great order and very clean -- all just as you would expect from a new location. It certainly is larger than the Jericho location and although it seemed to be about the same physical size as the Lake Grove location, I found that selection on the shelves is just different from either. I am sure once this location understands which products are in demand, this will stabilize.
Very disappointed with portobello stuffed with crab🥺. Will cook steak tomorrow & Ill rate them!!
The freshest and highest quality meats anywhere on L.I.. Their bread bakery selectionIs superior... “BREAD ALONE”, up-state bakers deliver an assortment of organic breads.
The food is always fresh....I love the hot buffet. The bakery has yummy pastries. Very clean!
I was in there yesterday to get some steel cut oatmeal. Great price for loose oatmeal. I noticed they had nuts for sale as well. wa going to get some but I see they price their SALTED version less than their NON-Salted.I have a couple of problems with this. First the unsalted if anything should be lower since the nature state of cashews and pistachios or unsalted. They have to add the salted. Two, for a chain that likes to say they sell healthy, they should be encouraging you to buy the unsalted nuts rather than the salted version. Finally when I ask why they price the unsalted nuts so much higher i.e. $13/lb vs. $10/lb no one from the customer service people to the northeastern regional office people knew why. The regional person did offer to find out and Im waiting to hear the answer. I cant see any reason they may try to come up with that would justify a $3 dollar spread for adding a very little amount of salt, can you?
My wife and I used to shop for our food at the Whole Foods out in Stony Brook because that was the closest one to us. Once we got word that Whole Foods in Commack was opening it made us happy since we are only about 10 minutes from that location. The Commack location is great. They have a nice selection of foods, great workers and a pleasant atmosphere. They also have a neopolitan pizzeria right on the premises! The store is always clean and very well stocked. Checking out is always fast and the cashiers are friendly and efficient. If I could offer one critique it would be upwards the deli. You can order sandwiches to be made like their Nonna which Id essentially a chicken cutlet parmigiana. At the Stonly Brook location you would get a nice sized chicken breast with sauce and cheese on a hero. In the Commack location they used pre-slicked thin chicken. You get a quarter of the amount of chicken you get at Stoney Brook but they charge you the same price. I stopped buying that sandwich at Commack.
Hate WHOLE FOODS, its owned by AMAZON. I do not contribute to the ruination of Mom & Pop store. Also I cant stomach corporate America.
Terrible . Selection is limited to off beat brands. Overpriced. Shelves are half empty. Half the check out people dont take cash. Avoid the Vets Highway store like the plague
The best place to get the most healthy; gluten-free, and organic foods, snacks, yogurt and juices for our son.I just wish they had a location closer to us.
Opening day was crazy!!! Everyone was new (disoriented) and seemed to come in groups. It was hard to navigate and lines were very long and slow moving. Getting in and out of the parking lot is also bottlenecked. However, the store itself is huge and gorgeous and well-stocked. Produce, fish and meat departments were impressive. After Easter I hope the chaos dies down and we’ll go here more.Update June 2019 - went there on a Saturday this weekend -- Am I Crazy, Right?!! -- and the store was not very busy at all. No more than 1 person in each line, no line at the pizza shop, plenty of room in the isles, only a few people ahead of me at the meat department. It was very pleasant. It is a big store, very clean and well-stocked. And no issues with parking or getting out of the parking lot. I guess opening day was just a really busy day.
Although I love wholefoods to buy variety of groceries almost every week, I have been visiting their hot and cold food bar for the last 3 days back to back, to my utter disbelief I have been seeing the same old stale food that I saw on the first visit. I was expecting it to change everyday and paid visit yesterday and today hoping to get something different, but no change even in a single dish. Stale hardened chicken, Overcooked fish under heating lamps, Old salads, stale soups and many more. @ The Manager of this store or incharge of the food dept please take note of this and maybe do something about it. I have been a loyal wholefoods customer from day 1 and I keep my prime membership only because of you guys(Honestly).
Love This Place and got extra 15% discount at the register when you show that you are a Amazon prime member.
Fine
Nice clean store. Well organized for the first week. Lots of variety in fruits and vegetables. Happy to see gluten free items.
The staff are amazing and helpful.
Too many rude #wfshopper people.
Expensive $$$....not my kind of store, everything is gluten free or Vegan.. its just Expensive!!
I always tried to eat healthy Whole Foods Market definitely is an amazing store to grab some yummy healthy food especially when you are looking for organic non GMO fruits and veggies in this store you can get a great assortment of products and lots of choices would be super awesome if prices can be more affordable for all but I better eating quality instead of quantity healthy food isn’t cheap and cheap food isn’t healthy Love this store
Grt store
My favorite supermarket, a little pricey thou! I mean i understand they sell quality but still...
Good, people from managers to cashier and the people who restock the shelves
Favorite place to food shop, the food made here is delicious, they take freshness seriously and they care about customers feedback. The workers are polite and so are those in charge.
Huge and clean but lacking the whole foods atmoshphere you find in a typical city or California whole foods. Coffee selections more minimal, vegan options reduced compared to California, its size of large supermarket so it feels much less busy and exciting than typical whole foods. But if u just want the food not the atmoshphere than its good.
Fantastic
Great experience.
Nice, clean, has lots of different niche foods, and generally a fun place to visit!
While they have a good variety of products, its expensive.
Great store, large selection of organic products, they even have self checkouts, and it had recently opened, this is the best place for organic products.
Amazon flex manager is rude and aggressive, kicked out one of the delivery driver Without reason
Great place for healthy lunch same price as most other options
Most spacious and least stress inducing Whole Foods in Long Island
To expensive
Very clean and bright with a nice selection. Salad bars are excellent.
Its clean, bright, has a bit bar, & KETO options!!!❣️
Bulk grains, nuts, seeds etc.; fresh produce; many other healthy foods. Prices came down since Amazon bought it.
