Great I needed a power steering pump & a AC compressor.They had both @ a great price.Save me big money big time

This is a self service auto salvage yard, so bring your own tools. There is no entrance fee to enter the yard, which is great! I was told at the front counter exactly where the cars I wanted to see were located. The property is only a few hundred yards in diameter so the selection is fairly limited but its an easy walk. You can send an inventory request by email to see if they have the year make and model you are looking for before you make the trip. This was very helpful and time saving for me. The price for parts was very reasonable and will be coming here for parts again!

HORRIBLE customer service! The owner was rude, condescending and unprofessional when I asked him to confirm that the part they were holding for me was the correct one...he acted like it was a huge ask for him to look at it and verify before I drove over an hour to get it.Once I got the part to the mechanic, it was the wrong part. When I called Western Auto Recycling about it and spoke with the owner, he actually asked me if I asked them for the correct part, which was upsetting given how he treated me when I pushed for him to confirm the part before I even drove up there. From the other reviews Im seeing, it sounds like they are really good as long as everything goes well and there are no problems or you dont question them...otherwise, you get treated rudely. I definitely would not recommend them!

I have never had any issues when I have taken scrap to this business. Their staff is courteous and knowledgeable.It has been a few years since Ive done any scrapping but now that the prices have went up it just may be time to start back up again!

This place is the cheapest around for a used radiator for my car. The gentleman that answered my call and was at the desk when i got there is very calm and did not rush me away. He even answered my questions, unlike the other salvage yard ice been to... and that helped me to be a lil calmer, lessen my anxiety about what needs to be replaced on my car.

Had the part needed and had it pulled quickly. Friendly staff made it a great experience.

Called them 3 times and asked them to pull and hold a part for us. Told them that we would drive to Commerce City in the morning to pick it up. When I got there in the morning they had not pulled it and I waited 45 mins for them to tell me that they didnt have it. Would not depend on them to have parts that they list on there site.

Did not know some parts but was helpful.

Called and spoke with the owner, he was rather rude and I think it would be best to avoid Western Auto Recycling if you have a questions.

They were knowledgeable on the phone telling me they had the two parts I needed.Vehicles were well organized with plenty of room to remove the parts that I needed.My part was $20.00 where the other salvage yards charged $50.00. The check out guy was very friendly and gave me the second car part free. I was very pleased with the whole experience. They will be the first and probably the only place I call or go to next time.

Hello everyone! I have been coming here for years, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. they always have the best price in town on whatever you might be looking for.

We called for a part for my car and they said they had it. The next day I drove over an hour to pick it up and when they went to look for it they could not find it even though they said they did and that they would pull it for us. When we asked why didn’t they grab it to confirm they had it when we called we got a “I don’t know what to tell you” response.

I only give 4 stars for excellent service !No ones perfect ! Great place !

I bought a car from Mike at western auto recycling. When I tried to pay it off he could not produce a title. I called almost weekly for 3 months. Still no title. About a month after that he sent a tow truck to my house a took my car. He is a crook and a thief. The most unfriendly, rotten person Ive ever met. He deserves to be in prison.

Owner is a scam artist

Sold me a bad part, had a cocoon in it and it caused another part to fail then which cost me additional 98.00 plus the original part. Guy was supposed to be cleaning the part for over 10 minutes but missed a big white cocoon inside the housing? Wont return... recommend going north to Greeleys salvage yard.

If there was a no star I would give them one. This place has a bunch of crooks working for them. They sold me a junk transmission, tried to take it back and didnt even try to give me my money back. Gave me his card and first thing he said said, Have your lawyer call me. It wasnt a lot of money but it was enough. How can you run a business like this?

What is wrong with these guys? Just gave them a call to locate a part and they were incredibly condescending and dismissive. Well imagine that, I have a computer that tells me interchange parts after asked if they had a different vehicle in stock... We will never be using you guys. Ever.

I was told they had 1 transmission for my type of vehicle thats passed testing. after i installed it and found it did not work, i tried to teturn it under warranty. i was told i can oy get a refund if they dont have another part in stock, and then they did have another one only 2 days after i got the 1st one. thank god it worked.

These guys are crooks. Stay away at all cost. I bought a transmission from them paid 300 for a mechanic to install and it didnt even make it out of the stall. Transmission was junk. Asked for a refund on trans was told they would exchange only. Like im going to spend another 300 to put in another junk trans.Dont use these crooks.

I bought an engine from Mike at western auto recycling. Got it home and it was full of water. Took it back for a refund, Mike refused to give me my money back. Said I could use it as credit but no refund even though the receipt says money back guarantee. Threatened to call the cops on me when I demanded my money then said to sue him. What a crook. Worst experience Ive ever had as a customer. I will never do business with him again.

I called to see if they had a bumper for a car and the guy who answered was very rude and condecinding! Was talking over me as I told him I needed a bumper for a ford windstar and his response was well whats the year you cant expect me to check if you dont give me a year he was just very rude in his delivery and I will never do business with this company !
