DO NOT USE!Poor customer service!! I had several calls with supervisors etc for the past 24 hours with no call back or resolution of the issue. This medical alarm companys function is to receive medical alerts, notify EMS and family after calling the home to make sure it was not a false alarm.Somehow yesterday, fire dept and ambulance was dispatched to my fathers home. No one called his cell, home phone or either family member on the account. I now find out that there were NO contact phone numbers or the lock box code on file with the Alarm company. We have had this account for a year with calls to us being made in the past.So somehow all our records were wiped clean with no way to contact us.So the fire dept went out, could not get in the lock box and did not break in the house. My father could have been unconscious or dead and we would not have know, and the EMS would not have ever tried to help him if it was needed. My father has also fallen down several times and the Fall Detection that we pay extra for did not work, they did not contact the home or any of the contact numbers. Does not work!I would not recommend this company for your elderly parent!!
Horrid customer service. 18 months ago, I moved my alarm service to Bay Alarm company. They said I could upgrade my current system and they would have sales call me. After 18 months and multiple calls to them, I am still waiting. Go somewhere else.
Disappointing customer service. After 20 years, I decided (for private reasons) to terminate my Bay Alarm contract. I did so by writing a letter and sending it, with my check for the current bill, to Bay Alarm. They continued to bill me, claiming that the address I sent the notice to was only for billing purposes. I pointed out that the billing service is their agent; it is their responsibility to instruct them to forward relevant information. This is basic agency law, but they were completely intransigent – to a customer of 20 years!
Depends on who you get when you need customer service from them, usually I have to call about the same problem few times before its taken care off. The app is not good at all and not many people can help you with it.
The equipment was hard to install and you cant get through to customer service. So I cancelled it but they still will charge you. Have to pay again to mail it.
This service is not as advertised be very cautious
Refund NOT forthcoming! Purchased this service for mom for added peace of mind and safety until we could get her moved to our town to keep an eye on her. System functioned as described. My issue is that when I returned the equipment a few days prior to the next billing I was charged for the next month but I obviously had no equipment. Bay Alarm said that the monthly charge would be credited back to me once they verified the equipment return. 7 weeks later I realized that the credit was not ever issued! I called today and they are stating that they will now issue the credit but it will take a week to show on my card. No explanation as to why my credit was not issued timely. I can only assume that they take advantage of the fact that we are all busy and forget to followup on such things and they keep the money!
I had a unit stop working, not my fault, I had to pay a huge amount to get the replacement machine sent to me and now they are expecting me to pay to have the defective unit returned to them. Really! And the shipping charges/options they offer to send the unit to you are absolutely ridiculous. Also make sure you read every word of the agreement with this company and remember it for a whole year remember it. Cause they expect you to know their policy which you signed, a year a later. They will bill your credit card for the annual service without even sending you a bill or a reminder, nothing, nothing. Cause you signed the agreement a year ago and that is what it says, that they will bill your credit card and, they dont have to bother to tell you again, because the agreement you signed a year ago says they can. I feel sorry for the elderly. Such crap.
Sending us charges after service is cancelled even though they said no more charges were due. And no remorse for sharing incorrect information.
