It was a very disappointing experience today. On our way to donate blood we popped in for a quick ham kolache. We took one bite and discarded the rest. The ham was very discolored and questionable. Chose not to risk it. We also purchased donut holes which were ok and a longjohn donut but it did not come with the traditional chocolate on top. The customer service was fine. She was not overly friendly. Only communication was to repeat our order back to me several times. This was our first and last time to give our business to this establishment. With so many other choices it would be worth the additional drive time to another establishment.

Donuts were delicious! Donuts usually go bad by next day, but unlike others these stayed fresh. Owners prefer cash, so just be prepared to get asked for cashed instead.

Hands down this place has THE best kolaches. They provide inside service and drive thru service. Very friendly!

RUDE!!!!!!! I needed the items I was purchasing in a box the woman insisted on bags in was going to purchase a variety of 10 items that would fit perfectly in a box. She unpacked my already 6 boxed items and placed them in a smaller box and put the additional items in bags....this not how I wanted my order

They dont warm your food up enough

The lady is very rude. It is a $7 dollar minimum on cards, which is ridiculous. She mumbles under her breath when you ask her questions & yells at customers. Don’t waste your money here. I understand now why the ratings were so low. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Been here a few times in the past when I was in the area. I remember it tasted good. Maybe the time of year or my hunger level but on most recent visit I got 1 donut in me and tossed the other 2 I purchased. They tasted stale and cold. Maybe a bad day who knows. Based on what I remember from the previous visits 4 stars

If I could give 0 stars I would, I usually never take the time out of my day to write something negative. But this was the WORST service I’ve ever received. The lady that helped me was SO RUDE, she started yelling at me and arguing about what 1/2 a dozen is. This place use to be good sad to see what a dump it’s turned into.

Donuts were gross today, the lady that works here is super rude. She started yelling at me because I only had my card and not cash. I don’t even think she charged me the right price. She literally mocked me when I refused to give her my code and her it’s a credit card not a debit card. I know they usually prefer cash, but if it’s a cash only place they should have signage saying that. We won’t be going there again. It’s shipley’s or Malenee’s for us forever now (the absolute best donuts with the sweetest owners- they’re just north Conroe so not super close).Edited to add: I tried to call up there and they hung up on me.

Amazing kolaches!

The kolaches and even the coffee is really good. However I am not a religious coffee drinker and when I ordered coffee I asked for cream and sugar. However I got three cream and two little packets of sugar LOL! What am I supposed to do with that? And then to top it off the lady who gave me the cream and sugar in the Drive-Thru window was extremely stingy with it and acted like it was a problem for me to ask for sugar when I was receiving it. Not sure how many people go through the drive-thru and get coffee but if you do you may have to go somewhere else to get extra sugar and cream. And the lady that commented about how the donut holes tasted like butter... It isnt far from the truth!

Always professional, always nice. Always gives me extra stuff for free. Decent pricing. They have old fashioned donuts. And it all tastes delicious

First time customer. Went through the drive thru at 5: 45 a.m. . The Asian lady had a horrible attitude, not sure if it was because of the conversation she was having on her phone or what . She gave me cold donuts, asked if she had warm ones, she said those were warm when clearly they were cold. Never again wasting my money at this place.

Rude owner. I asked to use the restroom and was yelled at with the owner stating restroom closed. Its understandable during Covid but no need to yell. Oh and she sold me the wrong kolaches. Run of the mill donut shop.

Average donut shop - we stopped on the way out of town and it was the only place open at 4am. They didn’t have a ton of selection when they opened but were hard at work in the back. Kolaches were available at that hour. Basic black coffee, cream/sugar packets.

Donuts are not as good as they could be. Theyve been risen a little too much. However love their sausage kolaches. Better than most places in and around the woodlands

Gave us large kolaches when we didn’t ask for them and charged us $5 extra. Wouldn’t give us our money back. And the owner was rude. Never will go here again! And let’s add every thing was cold!

This Mom and Pop location has a nice vibe. The donuts are always fresh and the staff is very accommodating. The coffee is hot and fresh and always made to order. The level of service you expect at a small business is definitely here. Worth the trip and they deserve your support.

Our Friday breakfast spot. Their food is always fresh and delicious. The owners are always working hard. Language barrier is present but they are friendly and eager to make you happy.

Sunrise donuts should be called rude Asian with trashy donuts. Asked for half dozen small kolaches and was given large for $5 more but they didn’t say anything about it. Everything was ice cold and served with horrible customer service not sure how they’re still open.

Sunrise Donuts is okay. I say this because there is a language barrier that may cause order confusion. Remember to be patient with them as they are with you.

Went there on Sunday and it was before noon so they weren’t busy and they were very nice... My husband and I had kolaches and they weren’tthat great... they were dried out and cold and even though they heated them up a little they seemed to get harder and the bread around it just turned into a mushy mess. If you go there I recommend you to stick with the donuts!!! At least those were tasty!!

Best donuts on the planet! Wish they would open a shop in Humble! Light and airy with a glaze very similar to Krispy Kreme. They reheat beautifully.

I visited this establishment on a Sunday morning, and there was an employee sitting at a table feverishly eating donuts. He called to his peers a few times to come up to help me, and when that didnt work, he stopped eating and came to the counter. Unfortunately, he did not wash hands yet still began serving me. I asked him to please wash his hands because its a health code violation and he acted as though he could not understand what I was saying. We went back and forth a few times, until he called to another employee who ended up serving me instead. Im not sure if this was a language barrier, but nonetheless, Im extremely concerned of the employees health and hygiene procedures. I will not be visiting here again.

Horrible customer service, I entered sayong good morning and all I got was a blank stare from the lady at the counter. I then order my food and she completely gets It wrong. I should mention she was talking on her phone the entire time.

The croissants r good and most of the other stuff that I have tried. Normally I pay with card and never really look at the price but today I went to get a large croissants and it said $1.89 on the board so I pulled out 2 bucks and she said it was $3.03. Idk how much I normally pay but it seems like they decide whatever they want when they ring it up. M.A.G.A

I love this place I go here frequently, the service is always great, not always the best at English but they really try.

Was initially excited that a donut shop was opening up on my way to work. That excitement quickly turned to disgust. I ordered two glazed donuts and two jalapeño and cheese kolaches, after running my credit card the lady informed me that they do not have glazed donuts and just handed me a bag of cold donut holes. The glaze on these donut holes tasted like straight up melted butter, no sugar, I couldnt eat them. Next up was the jalapeño kolaches. These kolaches were so soggy that I also could not eat them. Who wants to eat soggy bread? Im so relieved that I didnt buy these donuts for my whole office like I initially intended. This place was a huge disappointment and Im never going back.
