I loved the customer service I received at Inverness! They really made your guest feel welcome and they dressing room with the stage showing off the dress was definitely a nice feature! I was very hesitant about my dress shopping experience because I wanted a black wedding dress and I did not think I would find that in a bridal shop. This experience was made so personal and made me feel so special. I have been to other bridal shops that were pushy or made me feel pressured to buy a dress and I didnt feel like I was special at all. there were 20-30 people trying on dresses the same time as me. at Inverness I had a one on one appointment with a huge area to try on and show friends and family. the atmosphere is amazing and I found the perfect dress.

My mom and I were pampered and got to relax while they pulled the gowns with snacks and drinks. We had the whole store to ourselves and it was so relaxing. The weekend of March 20th, 2021 I had my bridal appointment at Inverness. When I scheduled my appointment it was extremely easy. I only had to do it through their website and didn’t not have to call in, which for me was amazing because with my job I didn’t have time to be on my phone or make personal calls. I was allowed to have five people join me for my appointment and since I have a large extended family that was ideal. Once we arrived at the appointment, we all came in and the ladies locked the door behind us, which showed me how dedicated and focused just on my appointment they were. I knew right then and there, that I was the star of the show. It made me feel extremely important. The ladies were absolutely wonderful and amazing to me and my party. They were extremely easy to talk to, very understanding of what I like and do not like, and they were really knowledgeable about what may look best on my body, but also gave me so much confidence to be myself and to not be embarrassed at all. Since there were six of us total at my appointment, they gave us all a menu of drink options. They also had little appetizers and finger foods available for us. Each of us had our own plate of appetizers. My champagne flute had my name in it which was really cute and sweet of them to go the extra mile and make me feel special. As afar as trying and picking out dresses, I went into the appointment with an open mind and was not going to be against any specific type of dress because in all honesty, every single dress is different and you never know which dress may be absolutely hideous on the rack but once it’s put in it may be the most stunning on you. So that’s how I approach my appointment. The ladies were extremely understanding and very helpful. I did guide them in a direction of some things that I did like so we went from there. They were amazing with staying within my budget range. I tried on a total of 8 dresses but after every dress the ladies listened to what I did like and did not like about each so that they could refine which dresses to pick for me. All in all I can not say enough about how wonderful they were to me. They truly helped make this dress shopping process so much easier on me. They were only there for one reason and that reason was to make sure I fell in love with the dress of my dreams and that I felt comfortable about myself in my dress. I couldn’t have had a more amazing experience than I did at Inverness. I would 100% recommend Inverness to any bride. They are wonderful to me and my party!

Before I get started, let me say I did search everywhere for a unique wedding gown, and didnt find one until Inverness. Leigh carries gorgeous dresses in all styles and colors. However, everything after the sale was a nightmare. I ordered my dress on May 3rd (wedding is October 5th). I was assured it would be here by the beginning of August, no problem. I called the second week of August, and was told it shipped. Great! Call back again the next week because I hadnt heard anything, was again told it shipped and I would be contacted the second it walked in the door. Now, Ive worked in retail sales for years, I understand during ordering its tricky to give a customer an exact date due to being responsible if it doesnt come in on that very day. I get it. No big deal. I call back again the NEXT week, one in the beginning and once at the end, I was told that I didnt need to keep calling, I would be contacted as soon as it came in (it was not said in a particularly rude tone). But of course, I call again the next week. Same answers. Finally its the first week of September and I call, again. I explain that I understand my dress is not in, and I will be contacted as soon as it is, but were 4 weeks away from my wedding and Im wondering if its actually going to come in? Im then told it was supposed to ship the 9th of August, and never did. She calls the company, calls me back, says she doesnt know why it didnt ship but it would be here, again, the next week. Had I not been so persistent, I would still be without a wedding dress. They had no idea my dress was never received or shipped. No one actually checked with the company when I called a million times. There was no remedy of the situation other than a, Im sorry. If youre ordering your dress extremely early, go to Inverness. If you need your dress within 3-5 months, I would be weary.

All the dresses at Inverness are truly unique and once-in-a-lifetime! Leighs taste in designers is impeccable and she made me feel so confident and beautiful throughout my entire appointment. I love my Ellis bridal dress so much! There was some trouble with ordering the bridesmaid dresses, much of it due to Inverness being short-staffed, but Leigh made everything right and gave me a generous discount on my veil to make up for it! I would highly recommend coming here to at least see these beautiful designs before going anywhere else!

I have just read the reviews of this shop, however this was not at all what I experienced today. I came in today with the bride, her mother, and 4 other bridesmaids. The lady was rude, and quickly stated that we should go to the other side of the store as it was obviously our price range. However, she never asked our price range. She dictated the whole shopping experience for the bride. She also had everyone seated in one area and we were advised to stay put- no walking around or touching anything. Thankfully, our wedding party was able to find the perfect dress, bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses etc.. elsewhere.This was my previous review, 3 months ago, but after 2 days I was informed, by the owner, that the lady I had worked with was just a temporary fill-in and would not be filling in again. The owner of the store personally appologized to me and my whole party for my experieance and was VERY kind. I appreciated that she took the time to make sure all her customers were happy. I would probably come back and give it another try for my wedding.

The best experience ever today finding my dream gown! The store is beautiful and full of so many stunning gowns. The staff is wonderful from the owners to the assistants and they made everything so easy! I highly recommend Inverness for your bridal shopping experience, I would not go anywhere else!
