Terrible Service! The doctor was extremely rude and unprofessional. He tried to refuse to give my daughter an extra eye exam for her contact prescription because he “didn’t think she was old enough” and felt it was inappropriate for him to do so even though she’s almost 16 years old and I’ve been wearing contacts myself since I was 14. When I kindly rebutdtaled his arrogant statement by assuring that she would be responsible he then rolled his eyes at me and stated that “he didn’t have time for it anyways” and he wasn’t being nice or accommodating in his tone in any way even though we scheduled these exam appointments months ago and we were even early to the appointment. His disrespectful manners and atrocious attitude was incredibly unnecessary and I will NEVER be going back or recommending anyone to visit this place in the future. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Also the receptionist was incredibly rude as well when I told her that I wanted to reschedule our appointment AFTER the doctor came and told me he didn’t have time to finish our current appt. She then tried to say that I was LYING (lol) and that it didn’t make sense for him to say that to me when we had an apt scheduled months ago. I told her “YEA I KNOW THAT ASK HIM IF YOU WANT but can I just go please”, then she excused herself walked away and didn’t address me again until the doctor came out to finish the apt. These people are sooo UNPROFESSIONAL!!! It’s truly unbelievable. Never ever again. Their glasses selection is trash also so I gladly decided to go somewhere else. Just saying. Hope this helps! :)

Joel has been timely serving my need for progressive eyeglasses for over six years. We have worked together via email and mail. That is to say that I purchase frames from optical eyeworks or provide my own by mail. I email my current prescription and he makes and mails back the finished product. I’m a happy camper which is why I count on optical eyeworks time and time again.

The staff at Optical Eyeworks are so warm and welcoming. I was looking for new frames and wasshown a selection of affordable and stylish spectacles. I had been to a few places prior that hadntanswered my specific questions. I was very pleased when they knew exactly what I was looking for.No waiting or being ignored. This is the perfect place to go for quick & kind service.

Optical eyeworks place is amazing. Dina got a great eye for frames. She understands people and truly cares. I cannot recommend them highly enough and always happy and cheerful 100%.

You could search high and low far and wide, and on five continents, maybe you’d come close to finding the kind of prompt, expert, friendly, science-based, really really really customer oriented service you get at Optical Eyeworks.Joel And Lisa are the best! I’ve gotten dozens of glasses from my family and me across nearly a decade, and the fact that the whole family works together there makes it possible to get prompt expert service and usually half the time it takes the other folks just to write down your name and prescription!

I can say confidently that the customer service was great and everyone there tried their best to fit me with the right glasses. Frame selection is abundant and diverse at this location. Unfortunately I cannot recommend their services. The quality of the lens is below par. Despite never having a problem with two different providers over the past five years (my prescription has not changed significantly during this time), I was unable to comfortably look through the lens they provided. Two corrections were made to the lenses at this facility to improve the quality. However, I couldn’t drive with the first pair safely. By the final pair, my visibility was still reduced by around 30%. There is no return policy so I’ve simply called it a loss, and will continue using my older pairs for now.

I have been using Optical Eyeworks for 5-6 years and have always been happy with the service and pricing. They make sure the glasses fit and will adjust them whenever needed. Nice people to deal with.

Dr. Rosenthal and staff are top notch. He is always friendly, listens to my concerns and understand my needs. The selection of frames are great, and the girls always help me find exactly what Im looking for.

Joel and his staff are the best customer service oriented office I have seen in any eyeglass location. I came from another location to have a repair done 10+ years ago and was so happy to find them. The service and inventory was far better than any office and the go beyond to please is unheard of, they even create their own repairs and glasses on location and can offer it in 24 hours. He delivers the contacts or glasses personally to customers and always repairs for free. His genuine workmanship has made me mad at reading the other comments. I know my office uses his store for 9 years or more and has referred many customers to his office... We need to work with local businesses more and give appreciation to your neighborhood professionals...

**BEWARE** I got glasses here last year. I used Dr Ivan Rosenthal, DO, the dr on premises to do my eye exam and I purchased my glasses from this store. I recently went in and asked for my prescription information so that I could shop around since their prices are exorbitant. They did not give me my PD. I called today to get it and the owner of the store got on the phone and refused to give it to me, called me a liar and then when I reminded him that I already paid for this information and it was my information. He proceeded to LIE to me about my PD so that I couldnt take my prescription info elsewhere. I just called and asked to speak to the Dr. Ivan Rosenthal, DO directly and was told he wasnt in. I am now reporting them to my insurance company and if I dont hear back from the Dr I will be reporting him to my insurance company and the FLA Board of Optometry, ect...DONT WASTE YOUR TIME-THIS OWNER IS A NASTY, LIAR AND A CROOK!!!
