I took my car to this location as they are a one stop shop. When the repairs were finished I noticed the hood of my vehicle was off of alignment and I immediately called the repair shop and spoke with ally. She assured me that she would take care of it once I could bring the vehicle back. They also had the strip lining on my window off and was not replaced upon pickup as that particular part was on back order.After explaining about the hood of my vehicle being off centered, a hawk flew into my vehicle and I again called caliber. Ally again assured me that everything would be fine. I went to a local repair shop to get an estimate on some things that happened underneath of the vehicle. They took a look at my vehicle and stated that they would need to fix previous repairs as the bird did not cause the amount of damage the front of the vehicle has. I sent several pictures of the front of the vehicle to ally after I called and explained what was said. My radiator flap was placed on top of my engine and left there. The screws that were supposed to hold it down were missing. Several VISIBLE bolts and screws were missing and left undone. The repairs were clearly unfinished.Today, I took my vehicle to caliber to have the siding replaced and to talk with ally about the undone and sloppy repairs. When she replaced the siding, she tells me that everything including the radiator flap being found on my hood was due to a bird flying into my vehicle. 3 of the 7 bolts holding down the radiator flap were in their proper position so I am not sure how she figured that would happen. My hood was never centered like she assured me it would be once I brought my vehicle back to have the siding replaced. She also never replaced the Honda emblem I had previously asked about. I have been very dissatisfied with everything they’ve done. They’ve displaced blame, not taken accountability for their sloppy work. I’ve heard nothing but good things about caliber, which is why I trusted them to do the right thing. I would never recommend anyone to take their vehicle here. They got their money and left me with the a vehicle that still needs work.

I can honestly say I am relieved to have been recomended this facility. Very informative up to date and always available. Never had an issue would recommend 10/10.

Great experience! All things considered a collision center is that last place you want to go but. This one was very professional and the customer service was great! And if you think your going to get your car back by the first due date your either lucky or you need to rethink your expectations. Nevertheless Scott the gentleman that was updating me was very prompt and consistent. I got the car back and it was in much better shape then when I left it, it was clean on the inside and out and just feels like a new car. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a relatively bad experience after some minor damage repairs. After reading some reviews that provided an email contact, I figured that I would reach out that way rather than complaining on a Google review. Well, here I am. No one will respond to my emails or inquiries. Thats not a good look for a business. I mean do you have to really go to the BBB as a means of getting an issue resolved?

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a body shop and I am an insurance agent. First, they painted the car the wrong color, installed defective body trim, and tried to pass it off as the right color and the vehicle was perfect. They finally came to agreement that the color was wrong, and they would reorder more body parts as the ones they put on looked horrible, so they took the vehicle back for another two weeks. As I believe they did the best they could to match the color the 2nd go around, I received my vehicle back today with more chips in the overall paint job than before, as well as dust all over the car. As I drove off, I noticed my tire pressure management system warning light was on. To be specific, while the tires had 35lbs or pressure when I dropped the vehicle off, two tires now had 24 and 29 lbs respectively. I now need to fix / replace two tires. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP until they’ve made some significant changes. You have “yes” men working there, and they can’t be trusted.4-27-2021-Please note they still haven’t contacted me after their response requesting an email - per their note on my review. I have also found new damage underneath my vehicle, and as I almost can prove they drove the vehicle, the mileage on my vehicle went from 68,411 to 68,711. And while this could be a coincidence, the transfer case for the AWD is now leaking.So, to be clear, their shop took almost 4 weeks to repair the vehicle, had to paint the bumper and hood twice, numerous new chips in paint on the vehicle, extra miles on the vehicle, leaking tires, new damage underneath the vehicle and now a leaking transfer case.I have pictures of everything except the odometer after the first repair.There is absolutely NO way I would go there again

Update: After the mask problem, the GM of the area spoke to me, very nice guy. However, we spoke to Ford and they let us know that the bumpers should not have lining on them like the caliber manager here explicitly said they do. Dishonest work.Entire staff does not wear mask and when manager came out to speak to me about my car he refused to wear a mask when asked nicely.

I always choose Caliber of Lake Norman-Cornelius whenever I (or my family) have a fender bender. Fortunately or unfortunately, the staff knows me by name. I had worked with Adam over the years and now with Jeremy who provides me with exceptional service. I don’t consider any other shop to handle my body shop needs. Though, I sincerely hope that I will not need this type of repair in a long time. 🙂

I just cant thank the Caliber Collision team here in Cornelius enough for how exceptionally quick and excellent their service was. I had my car taken into their establishment on 9/16/2020 for a broken headlight and a damaged grill/bumper. I had the pleasure of having Corinne Gruber as my Service Provider and she made sure all my needs were met the minute I walked through the door, even when I was late for my appointment! She made sure to quickly put the claim in with my insurance provider for a swift approval process and began ordering parts as soon as she was notified. The service technician team who worked on my vehicle were amazing and did an excellent job. They notified me via text that the car wouldnt be ready until 9/21/2020. Corinne called me the very next day on 9/17/2020 to notify me everything was ready and fixed and I couldnt believe it! So very impressed with this establishment and if I was a local I would trust them with any of my vehicles.

Took Twice as long is estimated. Poor communication. Most important quality of work is beyond unacceptable. First time I went to pick up the truck I did not accept it because their paint uneven And had pits in it. After they tried to fix it again it still looks terrible but that’s OK because their technician told me that it “didn’t look that bad “ LOL this place is a joke. take your business somewhere else if your insurance company recommends them disagree with your insurance company and take it somewhere else. Whatever you don’t use these people. Save yourself the time and aggravation spend your money somewhere else

Body work was great! Car was cleaned and I appreciate very much, but my door handle paneling faded on all 4 doors. Very upsetting. Manager explained car was not cleaned on inside. This is not true. White film was on my stereo screen and throughout screen.

I like this place but we had a couple of issues. When I picked up, I couldnt drive the car because of a flat tire. We picked it up the next day and the AC wasnt working. So we had to take it back for another couple of days. Theyre usually spot on but there was a lack of attention to detail this time.

Someone backed into my Volkswagen Jetta with a hitch and took out the trunk etc and fender they repaired it to better than new!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! Very unprofessional shop.I took my car here after being hit by a driver with no insurance. The first time the car was in the their body shop, they blatantly ignored some of the damage on the car, even after I explicitly told them about it and saw the guy mark it down on their paper. Even the damage that they did repair was poorly done. They just sprayed a clear coat over a patch of cracks on my bumper instead of actually fixing it.I had to take my car back to them to have the damage they ignored and poorly repaired fixed. They had to replace one of my mirrors, and in the process scratched the door of my car. If I could give less than one star I would.Update: October 2nd.The front bumper, which they did work on, popped out of place today. Not only is their work initially bad, but it doesn’t hold up either.

Was rear ended in my Jeep and needed $1600 in repairs.Went in and got an estimate quickly and was given all information for the insurance company quickly.Body work was great, looks brand new. I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, and I cant even tell anything was wrong with it. Great work.

I would just give one star but I gave an extra because they had good customer service while they had my car. I had to have my door replaced. The day after I get it back, it doesnt start. I had never had that happen before. It was at the dealership for a week when they figured out the PCM needed replaced. Fast forward a couple months and car wont start again. Just got word it is the battery. My car is just barely 4 years old. Too much of a coincidence that I have all these issues immediately after getting my car back from them.

Their team is really good at what they do. Very professional and on top of everything. Cheryl-Lynn was a huge help with getting everything done and communicating.I highly recommend Abra.

The option for less than one star is not available. Never again will I use this location for repairs. After having our truck for 6 weeks, three tries just to get the paint right due to taking shortcuts, we get our 2019 truck back with a deep scratch where there wasnt even damaged to begin with. The worst part is that I was TOLD it happens when a vehicle is at a body shop for long periods of time. Dont waste your time trying to voice your concerns to Jeremy, he will laugh at you. No concern for your loss and customer satisfaction is not on their list of priorities. Caliber has to work to do to bring this location up to their standards for right now, they have none. Hope no one else falls victim to the nightmare we have been in.

Had to take our car in after a mattress flew off a truck and did a lot of damage. Contacted ABRA in Cornelius, and took to their shop right away. They set very clear expectations right up front, and gave an accurate estimate. Now all the above, I expected. What I didnt expect, was such friendly and professional customer service. Michael Sipe was our rep, and from day one, kept in constant contact. I received a text message every morning with progress note, and an email at days end with detailed progress. ABRA Gave an estimated completion date quickly, and not only met the date, but finished a day early. WOW! When we picked the car up, it was perfect. The quality was flawless, and with a life time warranty as liong as we own the car. Was so impressed that words cannot properly convey my shock and pleasure for having chose ABRA. Great service, outstanding quality. You cannot go wrong and will be pleased!

This is the most unprofessional body shop I have ever dealt with. They failed to fix our car correctly the first, second or third time. They caused almost as much damage as the wreck. They lost our drivers side door mat and when we asked them about it, they lied and said it was never there. If I could give them minus stars I would. This shop is very poorly run and they do not take any responsibility for their mistakes. We were very unhappy with this company and will never use them again. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I was out of town when they finished my repairs. I told them on two occasions to either keep the car in their lot or call me so I could have someone meet them to take the vehicle. The buy then does the exact opposite of the conversation we had and drops the car off in front of my house and hides the key to a $35K truck under a rocking chair. I can not believe the stupidity involved in this guys actions. The only reason I knew he left the key is because I saw the idiot on skybell. No call or notification that he even left the vehicle.

If 0 was an option they would have earned it. Got my truck back a week late. It would have only been 2 days if they didnt call an hour before close on a holiday weekend. The work was sub par to say the least. Got a truck bed back with out half the spray in bed liner. Response was I left you a message, like it was some corporate check the box response. Then mentioned the fact that they left not only trash that could been swept easily out of the bed but literally body parts they cut off. If I wanted hack work I would have went to the guy on central ave in charlotte. Do yourself a favor take a chance on some local no name you cant loose anymore than I did with these hacks.
