*Hot Rod Interiors by Chuck*One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had! Visited this shop to discuss having custom interior work done on a 1965 Lincoln Continental. As we entered the shop, four employees plus Chuck Hanna walked right by us without so much as a hello. Chuck didnt acknowledge us until the second time he walked by us. Excuse me, let me correct that, he acknowledged my partner (who is a white male) and did not acknowledge myself (a black female) nor our biracial child. While speaking with us about the work to be done, Chuck acted as if my opinion didnt matter and was much more concerned with what my partner had to say. Im honestly not sure if this was due to me being a female or a person of color, but I definitely felt ostracized. Apart from this, he went up $5k to $10k on the price originally discussed over the phone. Weve heard other stories of Chuck and his crew acting in this manner with customers. I believe when someone has chosen to spend upwards of $20k of their hard earned money with your business you could afford to show a certain amount of respect and customer service toward your patrons. Needless to say we wont be commissioning this company for the job. Good customer service goes a long way!
Had a great experience at their shop. Hit a snag with my leather Katskinz installation. They quoted me a fair price to help me finish the job. Top notch workmanship. Also, loved going into the shop and nosing around. They have some really cool interior projects going and it was fun admiring their work. Highly recommend.
Its always nice to have your expectations met when you hire someone to do a job for you and better still when those expectations are surpassed. This is exactly what happened to me when I brought my 09 Acura in for interior repair work. My feeling was that they paid as much attention to that job as they would a custom Porsche. I had a leaky top on my roadster, and couldnt find the source. Took it to Sonderwerks and am very glad I did! They found the leak and fixed it quickly. Dealing with them was a delight - they are professional, friendly, and responsive. As a bonus, they charged less than I had expected. I cannot recommend them too highly!
I got to know these guys after they moved into the new shop on Rolling Hills Road. This is a neat collection of craftsmen and everywhere you look, there is a quality of work and people. They went the extra mile to install a new sound system, sound proofing and custom carpet in a very unique classic car I have. I would stop in and every time not only did they not mind the interruption, they pointed out or taught me something about my own car that I did not own. I only wish I could afford more cars to enjoy more of their work.
Extremely fast service and high quality job. I had 4 cushions done here for my center console boat and they all came out great. One of the cushions has a very unique way that it attaches and they were able to accommodate this as well. I would recommend them to a friend.
Dave put a new cloth top on my Mustang GT. It proceeded just like he said it would. He was a distinct pleaseure to work with. I am impressed with the new look!
Amazing customer service from Dave. My 1996 BMW looks like new. These folks really know their cars and how to create solutions.
We had our Mastercraft fully reupholstered and had new flooring put down. We also had the outside of the boat cleaned and polished, a new vinyl stripe applied, and a custom sunbrella canvas cover and Bimini top were made. Dave and his team did an exceptional job! They kept us updated as the worked progressed, and sent us pictures of their progress along the way. We could not me more pleased as our 2008 pro star looks brand new!

Excellent experience. Dave and team replaced the headliner in my 2008 Honda Ridgeline. The team was knowledgeable, upfront about cost of repair, accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Quality work performed in a timely manner. Would recommend to a friend.
Great job on a set of Porsche 911 seats. Excellent quality and turn time was very quick.I’m very pleased with the service.
Contracted for new upholstery and cover for pontoon boat. Paid 1/2 up front and remainder at pickup. Failed to look carefully at work and later found that two cup holders had been cut out, but not replaced, leaving two holes in upholstery. After the first rain, also found that cover held pooled water. When I called, I was told that I should buy two new cup holders and replace them myself. Asked for better service and waited. No help on either the unfinished work or the cover.The upholstery was well done, but dont pay until everything is satisfactory. Would not use again.

My experience was not so great. We needed to have our sun deck on Mastercraft boat replaced. We took our own marine material (because it was to match the other seats in the boat) and had them replace the foam and reupholster the deck. Charged us over $500.00 to do the work. Thought is was a bit high priced but we heard this company was best so we paid the price. Obviously not the best at doing boats because the glue that they used was to be used in the sun. The glue melted through the material and when we took it back for them to look at they tried to tell us is was mold. It was not mold; and he would not fix it. Just be very careful when doing business with this company. They dont stand behind their work. Please shop around! Lesson learned!
They did a good job installing my top but who ever worked on my car was smoking in MY car. There was ash all over including the trunk. Ash in the center consol. Ash on my seats. My car now stinks of cigarette smoke. I find this to be incredibly disrespectful. They also disconnected the USB cable from the radio and plugged it into the cigarette lighter presumably to charge their phones. Im not paying you $1400 to make your life easier. Im paying for a service. Be professional. Be respectful.

Great work, simply great. Customer service stinks...had to go back three times to finally get the completed work. Owner did not seem to give a crap...he could make a fortune if he had good customer service, I would refer everyone I know....
My seat bottom failed.Chuck and his team made a better than new repair for me.Their experience and expertise is of the highest.
Tried very hard to get these guys to repair a torn boat cushion for us. However, I couldnt get anyone to call me back and schedule the service. I guess they did not want the business, and I told our boat dealer who recommended them to stop recommending them as they are very unprofessional.

Disappointing. Used the request an estimate feature on their website, then never heard back. Even called to follow up with them and still never heard back. Why have the feature on the website if its not used? Took my business elsewhere.
