Went to Cottonwood Sears on 6/9/2018 replace our upright freezer. We entered a very clean showroom and were greeted twice. A nice saleswoman asked if she can assist us in anything and showed us to the freezers. I was pleased with my options for my budget. The best part was she asked if we had questions and walked away so we could discuss this purchase in private. When we decided she asked us a few questions and set up delivery of our new freezer. This entire experience was maybe 20 minutes so I was happy. We were able to receive our new freezer in just 5 days from our order. Day of delivery was great. I received a call from the delivery driver and I explained that I work nights and would appreciate some time to sleep before my freezer was delivered. He gave me options as well as a courtesy call 30 minutes before they arrived so I could be ready. The sears delivery team were so friendly and accommodating. They removed my old freezer and delivered the new and it was up and running in just a few minutes. I am so pleased with this experience I will definitely buy from them again
I have done business with the local Sears store repeatedly over the past decade or more. I have always been impressed by the courtesy of the staff and the quality of service. I have also been very lucky...a few years ago, my wife wanted a new garden tiller. When I walked in, they had one they said an elderly gentleman had purchased and returned because he could not control it. I bought it fully assembled for about half price! My most recent transaction was eerily similar...my old Maytag dryer finally wore out (about 20 years old, but I had done numerous repairs and no longer wanted to mess with it). I told the salesman we wanted a modern gas dryer. He said he had the perfect one. Once again, it was a few days old and had been returned for whatever reason. It was marked $1098, had been reduced to about $650, but because it was returned it was only$397! SCORE! Then I bought a matching washer for under $600! Both the dryer had the tiller had full factory warranties (which I never needed). The newer location is way nicer than the old one, I have never had an unpleasant transaction, and I am quite satisfied. I highly recommend!
I had a great experience!! I just went in to look. I have just started my search for appliances. And I really dont know anything about them. I figured I have a lot of research to do. When I said I was just looking, she told about a special they were offering with a Sears card and asked me a few really great questions that really helped me think of more questions. She was really very knowledgeable and taught me so much about appliances that I walked away actually feeling like I know things. Not only that, she pointed out the sale was about to end and that if I buy now and if things change I can cancel without any issues, and that if a better sale comes along in the next two weeks, I can get a price adjustment! So I purchased with confidence! When I got home, equipped with some knowledge, I did a lot of research and found that she didnt steer me wrong!! Im very happy!! I had been to Home Depot first, and no one was available to help me. I went back a second time and found someone who said they knew appliances. They made some recommendations, pointing out a couple of obvious features, but couldnt really answer any questions. Sears will be my choice from now on!!! My next purchase will be a tractor!! They have a huge selection!!
Bought a birthday present for dad. Service was great. 2 people helped me figure out what was the tool I was looking for. Then when it turned out to be a lower price online than in the store, they price matched. The other items I bought for myself were less in the store than the online price, so that was great. Plus I got an extra discount on those because I used my Sears credit card. I didnt get the extra discount on the one I that was price matched. But thats ok. I got a great price and I was able to shop local and keep my money in my community.
Great Experience! Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful with a tool I was trying to find. So I asked about appliances. Gina was so knowledgeable and put so much effort into helping us make the right choices on our appliances. Plus it was nice to shop with a locally owned business.
I had the best help in this store. Everyone was very happy and kind. Tony Stanley walked around with me answering all my questions. I was in retail for years and I truly appreciate that kind of service! The store is clean and has a pleasant smell. I would recommend this store ! B Rice
I bought my washer and dryer from this Sears. Great customer service, friendly staff. They walked me through all the options and made sure I found one that met my needs. Helped me understand the differences between the models and pick out the best one. They even walked me through the recall process when a year later a recall was issued on one of the washers. Had zero issues from start to delivery. Love my new laundry set!
I own some rental homes and shop here frequently, mostly for appliances. The service has always been stellar. I mostly work with Gina Bri or Maria. Ive never had a bad experience and have always found the staff to be professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They area also much more accommodating with delivery and installation, which are done by people who work for this specific store, and do a great job.
Needed a washer/dryer set delivered and installed in less than 24 hours and Tony spent a ton of time researching options and came back with a GREAT deal for us. Cant thank Tony and Cottonwood Sears enough for how they went out of our way to make sure we had what we needed in a timely manner. Will definitely call them for our next appliance need.
A good store as long as you realize they are not a normally store. They are limited in what is on the floor, but they will order just about anything Sears sells. Temp are real helpful and friendly.
I like this store I bought some craftsman’s tools the employees are friendly and nice, the store isn’t that big but they have a good selection
Cottonwood Sears is my favorite Sears!Knowledgeable, super friendly staff! You can always count on great help here!I’ve got all my appliances here: washer and dryer, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner and more... Stove is next! And the owners are wonderful people who really care about this town!
Wow, what can I say? This location is the best sears in northern Arizona! The staff is attentive and friendly, they always greet you as soon as you come in the door. As a first time home owner I had a lot of questions. Gina and here team were there to walk me through every step of the way. They were very knowledgeable about their products, but never pushed me to purchase something super expensive that I didnt need. Thank you so much for all of your support in getting my home looking great. THANK YOU SEARS HOMETOWN STORE IN COTTONWOOD!!!
Very nice, but small store. Immediately greeted and helped, but not smothered.Knowledgeable staff. We did not make a purchase with this visit, but I will be back.
I love the warranty that comes with the appliances. I have yet to have a problem getting any of my appliances fixed or getting a check up. I hate buy appliances from them they have signs all over that say up to 30%off by getting a card or loan. I pay cash and they over charge you by over 50%. I bought 2 items for $650 each by the time the cashier was done doing whatever she did drove the price up to $1,100 each. I asked will I get a discount for paying cash the cashier laugh said no basically making me feel like they dont need my business. I just wonder how you can run a store like that. Doing nothing but trying to ruin peoples credit instead of praising people that save the money to pay cash for their products.
I bought my washer and dryer on one occasion and then my range on another occasion. All of the staff were very helpful and professional. The delivery team was awesome. The whole experience was great!
We came in here for an estimate on a washer/dryer and fridge. Im not sure how these sales people are paid...commission, or straight pay, but they were super pushy. We made it clear that we were just looking and wanted to make some comparisons. When they told us their delivery window was a couple of weeks out for what we wanted, we told them it was a definite no. Still, they pushed. We left feeling kind of weird. Ive never been to a Sears like that before.
I went in to purchase a tool chest combo that was advertised a $599. They did not have one in stock and offered to order it in. BUT, they were going to order the two peices separately and charge me the price of $635 including the 5% discount. I questioned the price and he explained that was the best price I was going to find. I asked about a different store location and he proudly said I wasnt going to find another home town store. I said, What about Prescott? And he said that Prescott no longer has a Sears and it closed a year ago. Long story shortened, the store in Prescott was suprised about the news and are going to order me what I wanted with the discounts included.
Tony was AMAZING. For several days he worked to accommodate my every desire and detail. BRAVO hometown Sears AND TONY!
Thanks to Maria, Gina and Ricky for their excellent service and commitment to be client focused. Beautify refrig that fits AND working ice maker😊
Best place to get applancese and tools from with great prices
I am so happy that I went to Sears Hometown Store in Cottonwood. I was very confused about the way washers work now, the staff there was very patient with me and was so knowledgeable. A special thanks to Gina.
Tried to buy a kitchen appliance. Two months of stonewalling later I gave up and went elsewhere. They did refund my payment, which is something positive.
Wonderful store! Great selection of all the top brands from washer, dryers, ranges and refrigerators.
Maria expertly answered all my questions. I will be buying from her.
Not much to tell. Went in, got what I needed. Paid for it and left. I will say that the staff was helpful in finding what I needed.
Ordered a replacement double wall oven on March 14. Was not told at time of purchase that for $30 we could have someone come to our home and measure the opening for a replacement double wall oven. We therefore provided (unprofessional) measurements. Mistake #1, for which we will take some responsibility. When the installer arrived, he immediately knew the wrong-size oven had been ordered and took it back to the store. We re-ordered the correct-size oven, was told on March 31 that the oven would be delivered on April 1 (and it was). Thought there would be some coordination between the sales team at Sears, the delivery people, and the installer so that as soon as the correct oven arrived all the dominoes would fall into place. That wishful thinking was Mistake #2: the delivery people were booked on Friday and Saturday, they dont deliver on Sunday (understandable) or Monday (?), and the installer is now booked until Thursday, April 7, a day were not going to be around. So theoretically we get it delivered and installed on Friday, April 8. Not a good experience, and so much for trying to do the right thing and support your local business people.
Thier ststem was down, so it took 3 hours to purchase tools
The sales staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the delivery team go out of their way to get the job done, and the installer is thorough, professional and does a neat clean job. Check out your local Cottonwood Hometown Sears Store!!
Went into store on Thursday. Didnt have what I needed in stock so I had to order the 4 piece Torx set. The associate couldnt get the order so I could pay at the register first of all. I had other items, so there we multiple transactions, to which I had to wait forever. Only one register open and she was trying to be a salesperson. He told me that if I had it shipped to the store it was free; shipping to my home address was $36. This was as much as the item I was ordering. He told me the order would be in on Tuesday. Unfortunately for me he didnt say exactly what Tuesday!!! I ASSUMED it would be the following Tuesday, I mean Thurs - Tues seems normal. NOT here! I call on Wednesday to check on my order. Well, the associate I talked to had to find out what was going on and had to call me back. When I received the call, I couldnt believe my ears! The order wasnt expected for delivery until the 21st. So, wait, let me get this straight. I order an item on Thursday, August 6, 2015 and its not due til Friday August 21,2015. Did the have to make the item? Very unprofessional. Unorganized, This was horrible. I needed the tool. Had I known that they had 2 week shipping, I wouldve just gone elsewhere. No, almost a week later and I have to start looking for my tool again. I will still get it before the 21st. This store will never see another penny from me. Ordered from Ebay. Its sad that you try to spent locally and the business forces you to spent your money some where else!
Great team. Glad to have this store and the helpful staff in our small town.
Very well stocked with whatever you need.
Clean store, friendly staff. Always willing to go a little beyond to help a customer out.
Couldnt get the part for a Carpet Shampooer they sale.
Has some basic appliances....not overly impressed
How do you feel when you complain about poor service and the reply is its not my job description? It burns me up. That was my experience with stovetop installation from this store. Buyer beware.
Love this store the staff is very helpful.
They try to sell you on stuff because they work of commission. Seriously, get real.
