We’ve used Jacksons for many years right from the time they had the small shop in the village. Every time we visit it’s good old fashioned customer service. Something that is seldom found in this money grabbing world today.Always a brilliant selection and fair prices. Well done Jacksons

All camping needs friendly staff, but check out the, cafe upstairs, REALLY, food great, coffee good, prices are brill for really good portions of food, clean tables excellent staff Christmas baubles etc upstairs too .

Generally very good. Friendly staff and good stocks for camping, clothing and outdoor equipment. Prices reasonably competitive but offset by excellent service, no quibble returns and handy location and convenient opening times. Excellent tent range with competitive prices/sell offs.

Great shop with loads of stock, reasonable pricing a great selection of kit. Got a great deal on a tent and was very impressed with the display of tents they had got set up. Gave us a really good chance to have a look at a few we liked and find the right one. Was particularly impressed by the kampa range, but ended up buying a Vango. Will definitely use Jackson again in the future. Excellent helpful staff as well. 👍

They do lovely Christmas displays but we were a week early. However if you have a caravan then this is the place for you.

Great place to pick up a few camping/caravan bits and bobs. Average pricing. Plenty of parking, cafe upstairs, clean toilets. Only downside was some of the shelves were empty. The store is very dated and could be brought up to a more modern standard. The actual Jackson sign outside had letters missing

1st class service. If they dont have a item or cant order it for you I imagine its not made! Always get fantastic service and advice from their knowledgeable staff.

We went on a Tuesday, so the weekends have been busy,as the stock levels of chairs (which we went for) was a bit disappointing. They had everything else we needed so that was great. There are signs on the windows to say café is open, but dont be fooled, its not. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I will go back as prices are competitive. Store was clean and tidy.

Two shops in one !!!I needed some spares, sorted, helpful and easy !!! But then I needed CALOR gas so a trip to the tills and thats when the fun started, I needed a 12kg cylinder. No they dont exist I can assure they do NO THEY DONT OK a walk to the car and return to the till !!! Thats a 12 kg CALOR cylinder they must exist. NO its not a CALOR cylinder was the answer despite the cylinder marked CALOR and 12 kgs !!!Ill just leave it there !!!

Jacksons is a brilliant place to get anything for camping and caravaning. Set over two floors with everything from tents and caravan to everything you need to go with them. Also as a good range of clothing and shoes for outdoor activities. There is a great little cafe on the first floor, with food and drinks at great prices. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly would highly recommend this place.

After being really excited to visit this camping shop, unfortunately I have left a little deflated. As a new customer I didnt get a hello or can I help you off any staff.Alot of the shelves and displays were a bit messy and not fully stocked. There is no doubt they have a wide range of products and prices are good. The whole place just looks unloved.There was toilet facilities for the public and a small cafe which Im sure is usually open when not in lockdown.I also couldnt tell who was staff and who was customers so made it even harder to approach them for advice. Even name badges or t-shirt would have been great.Im sure Jacksons has amazing knowledge and are helpful or at least were in the past. I just didnt get the opportunity to find that for myself hence 3 stars

This used to be my favourite outdoor store as it was locally owned and staffed and everyone was helpful and extremely pleasant.However when i visited recently,having not been since pre covid i took my dog with me as I usually did as the store was dog friendly,apart from the cafe, obviouslyImagine my shock on getting to the entrance to see a sign sayingDue to customer complaints dogs are no longer allowed in storeHave to say folks I wont be back

Ordered a couple of Kampa rally poles from them. They were one of the few outlets to have them in stock. Very good price, prompt delivery. Excellent service. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Needed a replacement jockey wheel, onsite team extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

If you have a caravan/motorhome it is one of the better places around to visit for all your accessories, there is even a little cafe if you fancy a cup of tea and a meal.The staff were very helpful too.

Love this place but unfortunately they dont allow dogs anymore, sue to customers complaining . So it means dogs have to stay at home or in mobility vehicle. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

Picked up some bits for our caravan and also had a cup of tea and cake.

We purchased a folding camper from Jacksons and the level of help and service given to us has been amazing. As newcomers to towing we had a lot of questions, which were always answered and we didnt feel stupid asking them. I would 100% recommend them and will definitely be back when we need camping equipment.

We bought our Motor home home west midlands caravans, its next door to Jacksons, they have a lovely cafe upstairs where we enjoyed a lovely big breakfast, and the shop has everthing for the campers.
