Clean store. Helpful staff. Lots of things out of stock or in limited supply.

I usually go to rent work equipment, many of the times it is in very bad condition but they know it, we as clients do not know until we make use of it, so it is important even if they review it also before taking them out of the store or upload it to the truck check them, today for example rent a simple trailer, usually due to bad experiences in this store with the team, check the trailer, the man who attended me just installed the safety hooks and left, I of course made sure That hooks, ramp and more were well, but my surprise was that the lights did not work, I immediately went to warn and the person who was there only said, yes he knew it did not work, and so rented it, luckily I checked and I took a police ticket or an accident, I hope someone takes responsibility in this department. It is unfortunate that they, knowing that this trailer does not work, continue to rent, annex photo for future rentals ... I have and another thing I have to refer days to get the money back from the cancellation when they are the ones with the problem. very bad reputation!

The Covington Home Depot is so slow when it comes to picking and processing online orders. However, the store is always clean and have associates there to assist you almost around every corner. Great for in store shopping. Order and pickup from the Tukwila location for fast service if you plan to online shop.

Amazing customer service during three separate interactions in three different departments. All associates helpful, friendly and patient. Especially, Annie! Almost every employee acknowledged me by saying “hello” or “can I help you find anything”. I was blown away by the customer service. We are remodeling our bathroom, so I’m sure I’ll see you again soon!

A bit pricey but you find what you want. People mostly helpful. Rental equipment are good and available most of the time but again rate is high.

In the past I would have given them a 5 star but now it seems like if I need help in finding anything it is very difficult to do that and if I find someone they have very little knowledge about what I need. I assume they are having a shortage in labor but it is most definitely not a 5 star experience.

Great place to shop for all your home improvement needs, they have a great selection of indoor and outdoor items, plants, of all kinds, and just about everything you need for your gardening needs, good selection of household appliances, flooring, doors, windows, paint, stains and all the painting supplies you need, there tool department has a decent selection of quality tools, great place if you are a contractor or just a do it yourself person.

Awesome gentleman who really knows his stuff! HUGE selection, hundreds of bottles and cans! You’ll come in and realize you’ll HAVE to come back!

OUT OF STOCK would be the best way to describe my experience. Entire rows of shelves, empty. And as usual, lots of help standing around talking to each other and not helping customers. Even when asked, clueless and useless. Sad but true. If Lowes would just build a store near Covington or Maple Valley WA.

Go-to for tools, hardware and materials in the area. Store is generally well organized, clean and tidy with good signage to help you find what you need. They do a good job with Covid protocols including sanitizing carts, floor markings where lines form and staff wearing masks. Staff can be hit and miss if you have questions or need help. Some are great, others could definitely use more training.

Pretty disappointed in the product location knowlege of alot of the store workers. Instead of I dont know, they send you across the store where your item is not located. The prices are not very competitive with Lowes any more. Guess supply and demand has the better of them as far as those prices go.

-Guy at the drill bit section was chatting up with some customer, I go ask him a question he rudely answers and goes away walking.... lady at the self checkout took the cart despite telling her that I was going to take it outside. The items I bought perhaps werent too heavy, but how do you know Im not injured? maybe Im pregnant? maybe I have an elderly with me? maybe Im coming back in?definitely not coming back now. Adios

Went to tukwila store to pickup a wet sawFor tile online said they had 3 was wrong I talked with Chelsea and she got a hold of the Covington store a bleacher and gary held until I got there. Thanks Chelsea

Favorite place to find stuffs for construction or home garden.. The staff is also very helpful.

Its Home Depot. I came in for one thing and I found it. Not a whole lot to complain about.

It appears customers now have learn to be checkers because there was only self check out aisles open. If customers have to do the work they should lower their prices.

Waited 12 mins for some help. No one around. Shelf was empty of what I needed. But over stock was on top shelf. And home Depot app said it was in stock. Went to look for someone, found 4 employees just chatting it up. Went another row over grabbed an employee only movable stair. Took it past the 4 employees made eye contact with them no one said anything. Then grabbed the item I needed which was under other items in boxes. And the whole time the door greeter was watching me. This was at 12:30 on Friday. Parking lot was half empty and check lines where empty so not busy at all.

All the staffs that we encountered at the store are very nice and friendly and are willing to lend a helping hands. We are working on several house improvement projects, and we will definitely go back for more supplies.

Never has anyone wasted my time as these guys do. No consideration whatsoever. This place is lacking communication and when you try to explain to another employee about your order they give you attitude like it is your fault. I am disgusted in the way business gets done here, as a business owner Id like to see improvements on the customer service end, as well as an improvement in communication before bringing my business back here. No other home depot store in the area operates as poorly as this one does, and for being in a good location, I am disappointed that this outcome even happened.

Worst customer service. If I could leave them no stars I would. Dont buy anything on line. I have been waiting 2 weeks for a sink. The day before it is to be delivered they push it out another day which has ended up being 2 weeks late. I still do not have my sink dont know when I will get it. This has cost me money because I have had to reschedule counter top install, install of upper cabinets and subs.I WILL NEVER ORDER ANOTHER ITEM FROM HOMEDEPO.COM. I WOULD HAVE BETTER LUCK FROM WALMART OR A DRUGY OFF THE STREET.If you want your item on time per delivery date DONT order from Homedepo.com if you need it on certain day they will never deliver.Dont expect home depo to help with this because they will not.Im still waiting for my SINK!!!!!!!!!

I like the store just fine.I just dont like using the self check out. There was only one cashier open in the lumber area. I prefer dealing with humans.

I had to travel 20 miles to locate an air conditioner. The employees at the service desk were helpful.

Customer service was alert and really wanted to help (although when I asked if a finish nailer would help with my deck build, was meet with an eager yes). They were out of a couple of critical items, but I was able to pick out some quality lumber and arrange a rental van.

The rating is only about my experience in getting the right information by phone before I drive a long way. Internet shows this store has limited quantity of an item I wanted.Calling this place to check on product availability is a waste of time. First of all Its hard to connect to the right department. When I finally made the connection I was put on a long hold (understandable when you are with another customer) then the call got dropped (dont understand). After a lot of efforts I made it with the same person again. But the SKU was not recognized (while it was recognized by the automated phone annunciation/answering loop). Then we went on the model number, then the call got dropped again.If I got the correct information, i.e., the product is or is not available, I would have given a minimum of 3 star.

2nd bad experience at the Covington location. Going a little further to Johnsons in Maple Valley going forward.Just needed my truck fob key copied. Ordered new fobs off eBay and they just needed to be cut. Told them to charge me however they wanted. The man told me he didnt want liability, and to go to the dealership. Right.....so I can avoid saving money.First bad experience was with the tool rental department. The lady was extremely rude and agitated. Bad interaction taking the tool and returning.I guess theyve already made enough $ off of me. Dont get me wrong. Some nice people there, but Im not meant to use them anymore.Johnsons cut the key for free in 2 minutes. Wouldnt accept a payment.

This location is pretty hit or miss on both product availability and customer service. Its a somewhat smaller location so they dont always have the variety you may be looking for. The store setup is awkward and tight so when its crowded, its hard to navigate especially with COVID times where youre trying to social distance. Its been half and half in customer service. Weve had good experiences and then run into lack of finding help or ones that clearly dont enjoy helping customers, at least Im a friendly manner. One of the biggest issues is the dogs customers bring in. Many of them are too reactive to be brought in and weve seen several off leash which is just dangerous. Doesnt seem like the store enforces any rules regarding the types of behaved or leashed lets that can stay in the store. I feel like I have a higher chance of getting bit at home depot than I do at petco which is just sad. If you go here, go early to avoid crowds and horrible parking lot situation.

My wife found the replacement bathtub she wanted and took a picture of the tag which she sent to me. When I went there to purchase it, the aisle and bin numbers were included on the tag, so it was very easy to find it. The employee [Jesus] was very helpful in putting it on the cart for me. The checkout was smooth and the guys in the parking lot cheerfully loaded it into the van. Later the pickup of the flooring materials ordered online was easy to get. The employee took time to check on the arrival for the remaining online order as well.

Good for general hardware needs. They have a high turnover rate so if I need good advice I go to a different store in MV.

They make up there own return policy at this store. I go to Home depot maybe 2 or 3 times a week, I am a new homeowner so I tend to go a lot. now there has been 3 times were I needed to make a return, 1 was after Xmas. The in-laws purchased me a combo pack of power tools that I did not need. I tried to return it for store credit but was told tools can be returned without a receipt. No were on the return policy does it say that. The second time was some Halloween stuff, I purchased around 600 bucks in Halloween stuff and needed to return a few things for not working. They said they dont return sessional items. Umm what. Thats not in the policy. I did not feel like arguing with them so both times I went to the Home Depot in Kent and had no problem.You are a corporate store and follow corporate policy, stop trying to create your own rules.

Im a senior and I didnt really know what I needed. I explained to the young male clerk and he was amazing. He helped me all the way thru the self check out! I had every intention of remembering his name....but...

I would have given them more stars except thay have an employee in the flooring area who knows nothing! The actually flooring person was on the phone so another employee said she could help. All she did was read whats posted, I could have done that. I had many questions and she could answer none of them. I told her that and she shot back with well, I jumped in to help because the regular person was on the phone. I looked at her and said I would have waited. I left with having no questions answered.

Terrible service for an online order. Go to Lowes, or go to Amazon.

Pretty good Home Depot store. Friendly people just impossible to find an expert. Somebody who knows what they are doing. Youll find them just look around in the general area of your item if you know where it is.Always check online for better deals. They are actually competitive in some areas like power tools, but small items if you can wait save some money.

Good stuff here but there is never anyone to help you on the floor.The only department that helps you is the tile department.If an employee walks by in other areas they never ask if they can help you.

I had to make a run to get supplies for a fence job and the gentlemen who loaded my truck were so kind and patient. I had trouble with my card and the cashier was so patient as well. The staff was very helpful and kind.

I tried to call my husband when he was inside home depot,I couldnt reach him just because the nonsense blocking signal,I thought he had any emergency .Later on,I had to drive to home depot and checked on him.Please stay away from home depot.I will never go there again.

Tonya in the paint department was so great. We went in 20 mins before closing time and ordered paint (we weren’t the only ones) and she worked her tail off getting everyone’s paint mixed. Even when she knew it would be after closing time. Every employee we spoke with was very friendly and courteous.

The products we were looking at, did not have the product location clearly labeled. Had to go to the customer service desk for help.Amy was a great help! She sat down at a computer with us and found the products we were looking for. I had to order it from a different location on line. Picked it up today.

I had such a terrible experience at this store today. Here are just a few highlights: I ordered online with curbside pickup. They cancelled half my order without notifying me and the curbside pickup person didnt mention it.I had to go in the store to find out what happened. There I had to push the customer service person to find out if they were out of stock.Then I discovered they had cable tied the order together so I had to go back in and get someone to cut it apart to load it.There was more, but thats enough.

Had the most wonderful experience tonight. My husband usually gets theChristmas tree, but has been away for work. My boys really wanted to get the tree up. I must say I was a little lost, but the help the staff gave was amazing. Even wrapped it, cut off the end and put it in the truck for us. Thank you so much!!!
