Hidden gem of Covington, Kentucky. Anyone trying to get weekend brunch in Cincinnati/Northern KY understands how difficult it is to get good food and service without an hour plus wait time. This place has exceptional food and service and, since its off the main street, it wasnt crowded at all. Could not recommend this more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Found my new breakfast place to visit whenever I’m in town! The best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The gravy is just an explosion of flavor in my mouth. What is that, tarragon?! Such a wonderful experience and everyone who works there is so helpful and kind. Please don’t go anywhere Butler’s Pantry! A must go to place to check out.

Very Friendly people. Very helpful. Food was hot, quick, delicious. All at a very reasonable price when considering location.One of the best places to go while staying at one of those hotels close by like Embassy Suites, Marriott.

Best bacon in America! Best croissant ever!!

Eh not like it used to be! We ordered a southwest salad and Cuban and the Cuban was dry! No pickle like they used to, and no bag to carry pick up. The salad was good however now they use large chunks of chicken breast.

The patio is worth the visit. It is covered by shade sails and its next to the iconic suspension bridge. The food is good. I had tacos for lunch and I enjoyed them very much - good flavor and enough heat. Id order them again.

I visited first for Cincinnati Burger Week and will definitely be back. Besides the incredibly kind staff, you can tell that the food is made of quality ingredients and the chef knows some unique combinations of flavor to make the food stand out among other restaurants.

Its a lil overpriced but they have cute lil snacks when you are hungry. There smoothies are mediocre but the place is so pretty inside i rate it a five!!! If you need a quick bite on your way to or from work its perfect!!

The Ladies here are great. All I purchased was great and I say stop in say hi and buy the blond brownie or a sandwich😀

They serve gluten free food that tastes phenomenal!!! I had the fried chicken sandwich (sans bun) on a bed of greens. Yes, I said fried! Its coated in rice flour and fried in a gluten free fryer! The fries are great too!

I left the Embassy Suites turned left and walked down the sidewalk until I ran into the Butler’s Pantry. The name sparked a certain expectation of service and quality. I walked into the market and it was fully stocked with healthy and lavish lunch items, breakfast starters including bourbon barrel cold brews that were out of this world. There were making for charcuterie boards and every drink for the whole party or just the two of us.But then... I crossed the beautiful hall to the cafe where I was quickly met and warmly greeted. We discussed the menu and were offered tastings. Every choice we made was met with feedback and knowledge about the menu.We dined on a huge outdoor patio that is where I now want to bring all my friends and family for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner! We were taken care of and our needs anticipated. The staff was personable and polite and showed actually hospitality.We went back every day of our stay and twice on Sunday. Literally.The Frittata!?The biscuits and gravy- swear to me you’ll never take it off the menuThe drinks! Just everything no lie. The food is perfect for what foodies are looking for! Prices are perfect. Everything fresh and thoughtful but not Pretentious.I just feel like who ever is running this place daily really cares and is about to be the name the food community is boasting about on the river. I want to go back just to be there and enjoy and relax and bring my friends and familyThere were outdoor games to play as a family and it was welcoming and fun. The general manager bailed a procrastinating husband out on Mother’s Day And squeezed our family of five in for their amazing brunch. Amazing staff, even more amazing food Anna really well done restaurant. We will be back

I ordered todays special, BLT and received two half slices of bread, 2 thin minimal strips of bacon and approximatrly a table spoon of lettuce all for $8.48. No tomato.I added a tip when paying and regret it.I believe I will not be eating there ever again. Food is usually not cooked or burnt and way over priced for what you receive.I wish I could add a pic to this review.

This was our go to place while staying in the area. We had great salads, sandwiches, acai bowls, pastries and ice cream.

My favorite brunch in the area, and at a very reasonable price point for the area. We go just about every weekend. Different specials every weekend. Go try it out.

Such a super neat place! So glad we stopped in. The gentleman that helped us was awesome. I would have got his name. I had my heart set on something I saw kn tje online menu that wasnt on their current menu. He said hed see what they could do. Ended up with a simple but delicious and fresh roasted chicken beast sandwich. Partner got a breakfast biscuit. Very tasty! My dirty chai was excellent. Many local products to choose from. We sampled some cheddar and ended up getting it. So good! Plus some interesting fermented stuff, which I love. Will definitely go back!

I love the build a salad bar! So far its the only thing Ive tried there but they have lots of options and my salad was so good!

We are from out of town and this place is phenomenal. This is our third time here and every time we come is a new wonderful discovery. Brian was so incredibly helpful and made our stay here so nice. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. When I visit again we will definitely make Butler’s pantry our first stop! I definitely recommend the sandwiches and the frozen bourbon drinks!

Wow what a little gem! I get breakfast here whenever I’m in town. Excellent breakfast sandwiches and pastries. They also have a nice selection of more natural foods and snacks. Staff is extremely friendly and food is great, definitely stop if you are in the area.

Fantastic!!! What a great change from the former restaurant in this space. We had a really delicious brunch this past Sunday. Bloody Mary bar was amazing and the buckwheat pancakes were out-of-this-world. The brunch potatoes also excellent. This is a great addition to this area and partnering with Stephen Williams from Bouquet was a smart move for these previously not-so-hot eateries at River Center. He will bring really great, locally-sourced food to a corner of town that desperately needs it. Everything Stephen touches turns to delicious!!! Great job on the food and the service was also VASTLY improved. The new management team is top-notch. We will be back!!!

Went for brunch today and it was amazing. Four adults and two babies, all the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We split the goetta balls, which were a huge hit. The French toast was awesome, and my friends enjoyed their chicken sandwiches. I had a few bites of my daughter’s pancakes - some of the best I’ve had. She devoured them along with her bowl full of berries. Will definitely be back.

First visit. We had a sit down bfast. They are following COVID rules by taking your order up front before sitting down. Very clean and the service was excellent. I had the traditional bfast with goetta extra crispy and eggs over medium. Goetta was great. Eggs had to be returned since they were too runny for me. They took care it it. My wife had the Buckwheat pancakes with bourbon whip cream. Very good but the pancakes were a little dry. Their store next door was nice to peruse afterwards. If it wasn’t raining we would go on their outdoor patio. Plenty of space there. Hope to go back soon.

Stopped in for lunch today and was totally surprised by the great food and service. I tried the goetta balls that were delicious and pancakes that were amazing! I will definitely be back!

We were staying nearby from out of town. We discovered this gem for lunch one afternoon. All manner of tasty and healthy items, Friendly folks, reasonable prices round out the bill. Save some room for ice cream. If you have wheels, you should be in great shape for this stop, no issues.

The salads are pretty darn good and the iced coffee is passable. They have aglamesies ice cream which is a treat to see. Lacks cohesion, and everything could be executed slightly better. Worth the trip though.

They have some items that are good and fairly priced....other items, not so much. The staff is slow, less than friendly and seems they have high turnover. The friendly ones always seem to leave, Management doesnt seem have much of a presence as they tend more to the restuarant. Lower prices, friendlier staff would go a long way......

Cant believe I just found this after living here 3 years. What a charming place with a lot of different choices for Breakfast or Luch! Will definitely be back!

Edit: The salads with chicken went from 8 to 12 dollars and the salad quality is fairly average. Im not changing my review score but this is a bad business decision.Butlers Pantry is perfect if you want a sweet treat, a coffee fix, or some decent lunch options. They have addictingly good cookies, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls, brownies, pie, and anything else you can think of that a bakery makes. They also have a good selection of locally sourced hand dipped ice cream. For breakfast they have fresh homemade quiches, great parfaits with homemade granola, and powerbowls that are loaded with filling ingredients. Their only weakness is that their lunch options are a little pricey and the quantity and quality does not match the price tag.

The parfaits are okay, but sometimes you can see water build-up in them like theyve been sitting out, and one time I had to take my parfait back due to the granola being stale. The coffee is also a little overpriced. Be warned if you get a latte here, you will have to stir your drink to get the flavor, and you will get no espresso and about and inch head of foam.The other healthy options like their power bowls and fruit drinks look horrendous. The sandwiches (while delicious) are also way overpriced for what you get, and taste like theyve been sitting out for a while.Theyre after something good here, but it is poorly executed.

Made my second stop in this place. On my first visit I shared with the owner (I think) that I knew about the place from an Enquire article. Very nice and helpful.purchased crossaint and pastry. Very good food, standard pricing.Second visit purchased tea and pastry. Still good, however had a different clerk that waited on me and she was neither pleasant, cheerful or nice. Mannerism toward me was like I was an inconvenience. Mind you it was a extreme winter day and there were no customers when I got there or during the time I stayed and consumed my beverage.Still really like this place and will visit again.

Their coffee is from Coffee Emporium and their baked goods are to die for. Great place to cure a sweet tooth.
