He gave me the choice of a part from the dealer or an after market part, told me the price difference, and told me his experience with both. He checked other things for free. His price is incredibly reasonable. Dont go to a chain garage, because they guarantee the work. T GUARANTEES HIS WORK TOO! AND he OWNS the place, so he truly cares if youre happy. I wont go anywhere else from now on. Hes smart, reasonable, understands when you make a noise for the thing-a-ma-bob thats doing whatchamacallit. A hidden 💎 gem in the neighborhood! All my neighbors go to him too. You wont be disappointed!

Last year they did a couple of small job for and did an excellent job for a very fair price. Always intelligent and friendly. a pleasure to have work done there. unfortunately due to the Pandemic the owner has lost a lot of business and scaled back to just him doing the work.

Dropped my car off in the morning and got it back the same day. Communication with Tai was awesome, he would call me every time he saw something with a price and what he would recommend doing before touching it. Honestly this place is amazing the owner and son team are great. Personally I kind of messed up my relationship with them and plan on fixing it simply because this is a shop you really dont want to loose a good relationship with due to the fact they truly are amazing, reliable, actually stick to their time frames and if they can, prioritize customers not by status, but by how bad they actually need their car back (based on if the customer needs to get to work and they have rides or not, etc). When you call ask for the son, his name is Tai (pronounced Tie), hes fluent in English, easily understood and can explain fully the technicality of the repair that needs to get done to people with little to no knowledge about car repairs so they can easily understand EXACTLY whats wrong and what NEEDS to get done. They have a couple other kids there fresh out of school, but they grew up around the shop and theyre pretty good as well. They, much like the father and son, are friendly and try to make the repair of your vehicle as painless and convenient as possible. Also, because the newbies take a bit longer, if youre on good terms with the owners they charge less for labor if they do the work on the car. They really are a great duo, and I wouldnt trust anyone else with my car especially because I drive over 100 miles to and from work each day. Especially Tai, hes the kind of mechanic that will tell you whats wrong, what needs to be done immediately and what can wait. And he works with you financially if youve been a long time customer and on good terms with them, because he understands that stuff happens and people need to get to work to pay for repairs and not everyone can pull $700 out of their rear for a job that has to be done immediately and cant wait. I dont usually leave reviews, but I cant say enough good about these people with huge hearts and just care about peoples safety. So if youre looking for a mechanic in the Providence/Kent County area thats reliable, affordable and pocket friendly, this truly is the place to go.
