We have used D&M for approximately 30 years for our cars maintenance. I refuse to go anywhere else. Ive recommended numerous family and friends who also are very happy with their service. When it comes to patience, honesty, constant reassurance, reasonable price, communication I mean everything that a body shop should embody this is the go to spot. These guys are amazing at what they do and they do not play around. I cannot be thankful enough for the help of D&M Tyre but especially with Justin (one of the owners). I had an issue that was causing my check engine light to remain on. I got tired of bouncing around to different mechanics shops until I came here. A co-worker of mine recommended D&M Tyre and Im happy they did. Justin and the team went to work and were able to figure out the root of the problem. Took us right in to fix a tire. Fast efficient service. They pretty much fix anything on your car. Call first. We were out in 25 min. They are always busy. Sign of a good place.

A friend of mine recommended D&M to me after just moving to the area. I had a few issues with my car which I needed to get checked out, including an issue with my AC on one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Not only did they offer to squeeze me in a few hours after I called, they also ended up not charging me because the issues were easy fixes and I was a first time customer. Will definitely be using them in the future and would refer D&M to anyone!

Best damn mechanics in town

After my car broke down due to an anti freeze leak, they “fixed” my leak and then tried saying my car wasn’t starting and I needed a new starter. Before giving permission to replace the starter, they went and did it anyway. Two weeks after I got my car back, it broke down again. I took it to another mechanic who then told me I had 0 anti freeze in my car. Bone dry. My engine could’ve overheat.

I took my 2017 Toyota Camry in to have the brakes checked because they were making a noise every once in awhile when applied. Justin checked all 4 brakes and then told me everything was fine and he did not charge me anything for the time he spent checking my vehicle. He could have easily taken advantage and told me I needed new brake pads. Thank you for the honesty Justin. I will definitely be bringing both cars there in the future when they need service.

My dad went to get his car checked here because he thought there was an oil leak. The mechanics thoroughly checked his car and found nothing wrong with it. They even topped off all of the necessary oils he needed. In the end, they didnt charge him anything and wished him a good day. Im glad my dad found such great professionals he can trust with his car. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs service.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with D&M. The owner, Dave, made me feel like he genuinely cared about getting me back on the road as fast as possible. We were towing our boat home when we blew a tire near their shop. Even though they were close to closing time they took the time to look at it, and told me my options. I feel if I had my wheel lock on me they would have resolved the issue right then. Unfortunately I did not so I had to leave it but Dave let me park it in a safe secure spot on his property. First thing in the morning they chiseled the lock off for me, put a tire on and got me back on the road!. I will definitely be returning to them for my repairs from now on. That is how you treat customers! Thank you.

This place was referred to me by a friend (owns a Mercedes Benz) when he saw that I was struggling to get an accurate diagnosis of my car from multiple automobile mechanical facilities.. One of those places was Anchor Subaru which neglected my car after a recall, and FreshCity Tires in MA which did absolutely nothing to my vehicle. When I went to D & M the 1st time, the gentlemen in the front were so welcoming and attentive to my car needs. Prior to my visit at D & M, my car had been sitting for two months while I searched for a place I could trust with my car. I have an 09 5-speed Subaru Forester and from the moment I left my keys with D & M to the time that I picked up my car, I knew that I could count on them to give me honest diagnosis of my car know the labor is well executed! Where other facilities could not locate the issue of my cars ailment, they did. Ive found my new mechanics! Their prices DEFINITELY match the quality of work they provide!

I was able to get an appointment for an alignment last minute, when I arrived I was served after a short wait. The alignment was done within an hour. The price was a bit higher than competitors, but the competitors also couldnt work with my schedule. Ive only heard great things about this garage. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

These guys are awesome! We showed up unannounced to try to sort out a vehicle inspection/registration issue and the entire crew got us straight. They even called the RI Safety and Emissions folks to expedite our alternate inspection. When we finally got our registration unblocked they helped get our inspection done so all was well for us. Ive taken my car here a few times. Each time It was a great experience. The staff is patient and curious. They really are great, such a different environment than most mechanics. They provide a nice waiting area thats clean and comfortable. I wouldnt right a review unless I really felt compelled to share because good mechanics are hard to find!!

I started coming to D&M a few months ago, a recommendation from a good friend, now there is no where else I will go to have my car serviced. Justin and his staff never disappointment all the repairs are done in a timely fashion. They are always polite and pleasant they get the job done for a great price!

Inspection and all work was done by noon. However, the dashboard lit up like a Christmas Tree when I started it up to drive it home. Needless to say this caused me to turn off the car and go back into the shop. Justin personally checked out the car and did not feel comfortable with me taking the car home because of this large display of dashboard icons. He kept the car, had several other specialists look at it and even took it to a Toyota dealer to see if they could get the error lights cleared. No luck. (Im thinking I have to buy a new car....and who would buy a car that had all those warning lights on!?) Justin did not give up on my car or me. He took the car back to the dealer and they re-programmed something and made it work again!!!! Justin saved me and my wallet. I am and will always be a loyal D & M Tyre customer. I have been referring him to anyone that needs help with their vehicle.

Lou is an amazing Service Adviser, Timmy is a great mechanic, but overall the place has zero time management skills (even when you make an appointment for first thing in the morning they are still running 2 hours behind). Complain about it and they dont care; write a letter to the Manager and he ignores it.Last week I took my car in for an inspection (even with an appointment AND a stated need by time they kept my car ALL DAY and 2 hours past the promised time). I had my front brakes replaced, but I would swear they didnt bother to inspect the rear brakes, which now need replacing one week later. Like I told them in my letter, I will not be returning.

Ive been here twice for transmission work, and both times the problems that needed to be fixed were taken care of! The work done was affordable, and I was confident their repairs would solve the problems my truck was having. I recommended them to a neighbor when she needed her timing belt replaced; D&M came in under her quote from another shop, and their service was exceptional.

If you want good service you should go to D&M because they have very caring people very attentive help for your needs sometimes when you get inpatient you got to realize some things go beyond their expectations of what you expect is wrong with the car but I would tell you this I enjoyed taking my car there and having it serviced and I know its a family-run business and theyre a great bunch of people

Ever since I moved to RI I wanted to find a nice automotive shop that I could trust who wouldnt try to pull the wool over my eyes. My 06 Impreza can sometimes be the luckiest unlucky car at times, and D&M always come through for me. Theyve done everything from change my alternator to my timing belt and water pump, and are much more affordable than the dealership. They recently replaced my stabilizers for free after finding out that the ones they originally installed a few months back went bad. Justin and the staff are responsible, have amazing service and are very accommodating. They want whats best for the customer which is refreshing, and they dont try to sell you things you dont need. Ive been going to them for a couple of years now, and even though I moved out of town since then, I still make the trek to go to D&M.

I drive about 35k mikes a year for the last 25years. With that being said, I have been through many sets of tires over the years. I just recently learned about DM Tyre from someone and decided to give them a try. They put 4 new tires on my sedan and I can only say that the tire replacement experience I had, was second to none. They have both an extremely professional and personable staff, a beautiful facility, with a comfortable waiting area, immaculate restrooms, and a very large, clean shop. Justin and Lou took care of me the day I was in, and I could not have asked for better service. From a service standpoint the gentleman/ tech that worked on my vehicle did a fantastic job as well. It was literally the first time I can ever remember where after having my tires replaced, that there was literally not even the slightest vibration coming from my steering wheel once getting the car back on road at highway speeds. And even though you shouldnt have vibration after just getting 4 new tires mounted / balanced.....I always do!!!Im never in a new car more than 80kmikes and it doesnt matter what brand or what company Ive been to for my first replacement set for the origina OEM tires, the car never feels as vibration free once original set is replaced......until now and coming here.I am in no way shape or form connected to this business or know any of its employees. Just a new, very satisfied customer that took someones advice to come here for tires. If you need new tires (believe they may do brake/ front end work too),I highly recommend giving DM Tyre a try. You will not be disappointed.
