Just moved to the area and decided to check out Dollar General. Thank goodness I did. Coming from Providence I know that prices in grocery stores has gotten ridiculous. This place is sort of like a family dollar...lower prices on a huge variety of food household needs ECT..But on a budget. Good prices. I bought Thankyou cards...great selection clean organized(unlike FD) 1 or 2 dollars a card. Soda for 100. Low priced pet food and great deals on cleaning supplies! Glad to meet my new neighbors...Dollar General! Will go back soon.

Perfect location!! I have been waiting for the store to open once the announcement was made. Parking lot is small for this busy intersection. Very clean.. well it should be for just opening. When entering the store. The food section is to your left. They have a good freezer and Refrigerator section. 3-4 isles of shelve foods. Prices are decent. The have items family dollar doesnt have, which is right down the street. The isles are small to move buggies down if another customer is there already. But have patience you might find something that wasnt on the list. The staff is friendly asking if you found everything your looking to purchase.My biggest issue I have with the store is.... check you freight outside on side of building not in the entrance way, regardless of the delivery man is fast. Which is was but not considerate of customers. The other thing.... going caps because its important REMOVE THE KEY FROM THE EXIT DETEX!! THE KEY WILL BREAK OFF IN LOCK AND ALSO OPEN FOR SHOPLIFTERS. PLEASE REMOVE.2 thumbs up on my first experience.

If everyone could accept that all stores have stock in aisles we could focus on the real issues. There are two issues with this store. They cant seem to keep up with demand. Which with this huge apartment complex one item can get cleaned out quickly.The MAJOR issue here is the Register. Yes the register!!!! Dont plan on stopping here quick for milk or dog food. No matter how fast you run to get your stuff youll always wait two to three times longer to check out. The owner refuses to open another register. They have one employee stocking shelves while the owner runs the register. Yes stocking shelves. Ive walked out and gone else where or to the gas station across the street. Please please put another person on register. One day an employee was up front talking to the owner while there were ten people in line. Are you crazy? Tell them to ring.With covid all the other stores that I go to are doing their bast to get customers out of the store as fast as possible. Not only to protect customers but also to protect their employees. Lesson the time people are in a building together. Shorten their time in line. Thats what we want a clean store which it is, items stocked we want and a fast check out. Thats number one for everyone. Take a survey itll tell you Faster check out time. Thanks

Place was clean. Guy at register was so nice. Great addition to your company. Spoke well, was helpful and good personality. The title is misleading as I was looking for candy and junk for kids and assumed it was a true dollar store...you know the ones, where everything there is a dollar, but that is not the case here. So 4 stars it is and rename your self Dollars General (with an s to indicate things here are purchased for mutilate dollars). Good luck Dollar Store. Great location.

Kind of a bit of an upgrade of a family Dollar except this one doesnt have many clothes very Stocked and pretty clean

Most of the employees are polite and professional. I hate when the have truck deliveries. Those days they have these high carts out that take up half the aisle. If your handicap its tough going through the aisles. If your in a wheelchair forget about it do not go on delivery day.

Dont come here for birthday gifts. Balloons deflated THE NEXT DAY. Very poor selection of birthday cards and gift wrapping. Most items cost much more than $1. Phone cables, simple things are $5+. Go to the Dollar Tree instead.

Great store, but I feel bad seeing that the owners clearly don’t care for employees. The manager was very helpful and apologized for the look of the place. Overstock seems to be an issue with not much space for it, leaving aisles to look cluttered. Only one employee on at most times, maybe 2 but not enough to handle the volume of customers and volume of product coming in. Otherwise good store and great location

Front and left backside of store the aisles were clear no boxes of new inventory blocking shelves. However when I reached the end of the laundry products aisle, I went to take a right and there was all new boxes of inventory waiting to be shelved. I could not even attempt to go up and down the last 3 aisles. I am giving this Dollar General 2 stars due to this factor.

Great selection and excellent prices. Some items are $2 or $3 less than the markets some even more. Open every day at 8 am

Depends what you neec..

I spent over $25.00 - due to the $5.00 coupon, and even though I put the $5.00 coupon in my coupon clip - it was not available and the manager did not offer any support - stating that theres nothing she can do to support the $5.00 coupon dilima. Pulling it up on my phone would have delayed the long line of people. Therefore I was forced to pay and move out the way!

Place suxs it would be better if they didnt rob money from your bank card from td bankfor over 3grand an not give you your money back when you file a fraud claim an said it was you an it wasnt or couldnt been when we were locked up if they gave me my money back then Id maybe would change my rating

The store is an absolute mess. I would assume its because they only have 1 or 2 staff on at oonce.The aisles have pallets with merchandise just sitting there.... Shelves are half empty. It doesnt make my shopping trip a bad experience ..just an observation
